#condemn hamas
Text
Tumblr media
The people who saw "Nazis" everywhere didn't spot it in themselves.
If you're going to say that "sUpPoRtInG PaLeStInE DoEsN'T MeAn sUpPoRtInG HaMaS!!" okay. Condemn Hamas. Denounce them as terrorists, call for the return of the remaining hostages, and convince others to do the same. Condemn Hamas.
Yeah, that's what I thought.

Being Gen Z on the internet means posting something condemning the social-political landscape of today’s world and yet another war then scrolling down two posts to a see a Shrek pregnancy meme and sending it to a friend all within 1 minute of each other

people have said this better than me but it really reminds me of ace discourse how any time anyone using the word transandrophobia [even like a fresh account that just got made that no one knows and is pretty obviously just a terf bullshitting] is suddenly every trans mans responsibility all of us have to be like "no we dont agree with them thats bad" cause in ace discourse any time there was ever an aspec person being remotely homophobic [again even when it was a fresh account that was obviously someone just doing it to cause arguments] all aspecs had to claim their Stance on this specific person all the sudden or it was their fault.
which im not claiming only happens in these instances most oppressed people have had someone turn to them and be like "well what about [dickhead from your minority group]? what about them?" and we have to have some conversation about This Person all the sudden but it sucks ass to have this used against you by people who like. also go through this.
YEAH ive seen a good few people get sent asks like "this person is doing xyz so yall cant tell us youre not bad" and its like. cool i have never heard of them before and have 0 control over them? they are. an entirely separate person from me? like i think its supposed to imply "this is the logical conclusion for your ideology, you all will turn into this eventually" but it just comes across as like. "why didn't you stop world war ii when you were a baby". like well because i wasnt there and couldnt, idk what you want from me here.

The reasoning that "Hamas hide behind civilians/shelters" as justification for Israel bombing UN schools and hospitals is such a load of horseshit. You are basically saying that Palestinian lives are "necessary sacrifices" to defeat Hamas. That it's ok to murder entire families aslong as it destroys hamas(which it won't because hamas leaders don't even live in Gaza).
If you genuinely believe that the only solution to end this conflict is for Israel to cut water, food, electricity and the internet off followed by daily bombing the shit out of 2 million people(half of them children) then you are either incredibly brainwashed by the media or an actual facist.

I swear to god if I see one more person talking about “condemning Hamas.” Tell me, what is the point of me personally condemning Hamas? My country’s government already has condemned Hamas. Along with many other countries, the US has designated them as a terrorist organization and leveled sanctions against them. Protests against the genocide in Gaza are being labeled as “pro-Hamas” and therefore “pro-terrorism” and being shut down. The US is in fact arming Israel and supporting the leveling of Gaza. Even if I did personally condemn them, why would I be in the streets demanding that everyone in power just keep doing what they’re already fucking doing? Get a goddamned grip. Stop treating this like an issue of individual morals and take a look at the material reality. Everything Hamas has done has been for the purpose of ending an oppressive colonial occupation perpetrating ethnic cleansing and genocidal massacres for 75 fucking years. They took 250 people captive because Israel had already been arresting thousands of Palestinians, including children, and holding them captive and abusing them for years without charge or trial. Peaceful protest has failed to change anything because no one in power in the rest of the world has shown any real solidarity with Palestine. No one answered their calls to action. Not even calls to nonviolent actions, like sanctions or ceasing to arm Israel. The blood of both Palestinian and Israeli civilians is on Israel’s hands, and also on ours. If you don’t like seeing violent resistance, then fucking do something about the violence that they’re resisting against. Stop moralizing and get organized.
*actually, also, for the record, Hamas is not the only resistance group in this fight. “Condemning Hamas” really means “condemning the entire Palestinian resistance movement.” I fucking will not. Down with the occupation.

Feminists, human rights activists etc. Your silence has been deafening. Where is your condemnation of Hamas-ISIS. Where is your support for the hostages.
Activists for Palestine, don't try and sweep this under the rug, don't pretend this didn't happen, don't pretend Hamas-ISIS is some sort of "Humane organisation". Stop pretending the Palestinian cause is immune to criticism when stuff like this happens on your watch.
Where is the Red Cross? Where is Amnesty International? Where is the UN?
Edit: reblog this as much as possible. We cannot allow one side of the argument to have all the attention and to demonise us for speaking the truth about this stupid war. Fuck Islamism

Tumblr media
one of them is a freedom fighter who is a survivor of years of military occupation, bombing campaigns and a brutal siege / the other is a terrorist assaulting defenseless kids on behalf of a violent settler colonial ethnostate
guess which one of them is endlessly dehumanized by mass media

tara strong, a jewish woman, being fired and called “islamophobic” for condemning hamas and their attack on Israeli civilians perfectly exemplifies everything wrong with western leftism. I saw the tweets. that’s literally all she said. and she found out she was fired via a tweet from the production company. I’m so sick of hearing about shit like this happening in 2023.

Not getting on that flight.
Still seeing Zionists saying that criticising Israel is antisemitic.
I’m sorry but committing genocide in the name of judaism is actually antisemitic.
