Luciferian Prayer Before Studying
Lucifer, Serpent of Old,
Prince of the power of the air,
Oh, Morningstar, the one who
Sparks the bright flames of intellect!
You are the Bringer of Knowledge
And the Guide of those who seek it.
Be with me as I study.
Bless my mind - may it be free of distractions.
Bless my thoughts - may I understand.
Bless my memory - may I remember.

To the Rainbow Lucifer
Lucifer of the Rainbow,
Lucifer, Meadow Dancer!
I see you in flowers,
And in the rosy-orange sky
When the Sun is rising -
The Sun, your other shining face,
Oh, sweet Morningstar.
I see you in grass,
In brave city dandelions
And even at night,
In the Moon's colours, subtly changing.
Fallen, you never lost your beauty,
Lucifer, Rainbow of This World.

The Bitter Apple
Oh Lucifer, who brought us flame
Of knowledge - hear, I cry to you in pain!
Hear!
Though terrible is the price
Of opened eyes
Like Mother - I will take the fruit.
Again, again, again.
But - help me!
Help me face the world.

Menstrual Prayer to the Nonbinary Moon
Against Dysphoria
I call you, triple-faced goddess
Mene, O light-beloved
Hermes and Hekate at once,
Male-female child together.1
Moon beyond all binary
Silver and gold
Black and white
And red like the blood I bleed now.
Let me,
Mirror of Heavens,
Look into your shining face.
So, gazing upon my reflection,
I may remember -
Though others may try to define me,
I am nothing else
But myself.
1 - Greek Magical PaIyri IV.2441-2621. Note - “Mene” is an Ancient Greek word for the Moon and was used interchangeably with “Selene”, here denoting the same goddess.
Dividers cut from a photo by Adrian Swancar on Unsplash.
This prayer was written by a nonbinary person who menstruates to help alleviate dysphoria by connecting with the Moon in a nonbinary form. Neither involving menstruation in witchcraft nor menstruating at all is not neccessary to be a witch or to work with the Moon. I am transgender and this post is not for terfs and other bioessentialists.

For Lucifer
You slither through me, sweet Devil
Your light flows through my veins

You set my soul in flames.

A prayer to Chthonic Beelzebub
Beelzebub of lifegiving rot,
Of blowflies, fungi and bacteria,
Of all detested carrion eaters,
Beelzebub of abandoned graveyards!
You feed the soil, feed all of Earth,
Oh silent, dark-winged Lord of Flies,
Revealing Nature's age-old secret:
Only with death can life arise.

Litany of Hope
Morningstar, Lightbringer, Lucifer,
Be with us.
Fallen yet rising,
Be with us.
Divine Survivor,
Be with us.
Star of Hope, unbroken,
Star of Hope, unconquered,
Star of Hope, undying,
Be with us.
Star of Hope, fiercely shining,
Star of Hope, fiercely battling,
Star of Hope, fiercely loving,
Be with us.
Hope ever-revolting,
Be with us.
Spark of Rebellion,
Be with us.
Companion of Outcasts,
Be with us.
Song of Insurgents,
Be with us.
Banner of Freedom,
Be with us.
Dandelion thriving,
Be with us.
Snowdrop blooming,
Be with us.
Dew, silver promise of morning,
Be with us.
Oh Thing with Feathers,
Be with us.
Nightingale in the Dark,
Be with us.
Blackbird, Herald of Dawn,
Be with us.
New Moon and Rising Sun,
Oh, Morningstar,
Be with us!
Star of Hope, Lucifer, you never leave your people in need. Fill our hearts with your fire, and burn despair away. For even when all seems lost, hope of the spirit remains - like you, we will never be broken. And that is the greatest of all hopes.

To the Divine Self
A Luciferian Prayer
I call upon my divinity,
You who is within me,
You who is me.
Ignite me!
Divine self, blaze within me!
Divine wisdom, blaze within me!
Divine power, blaze within me!
Blaze within me with radiant flame
And be with me now and always,
And unto the ages of ages.
Amen!

For Demonic Intercession
A Witch's Prayer to Lucifer
Lucifer, in-between spirit!
You shine brightly at dusk,
You shine brightly at dawn,
And at the witching hour
You wander through the shadows.
Lucifer of This World,
And of the depths of Hell,
And of the sky above!
Lucifer of the Crossroads,
You are my devil,
And I am your witch.
I ask you to intercede
Between me and one of your brethren, X.
So when we meet,
They know me as one of yours,
And we can meet amicably.

Hail Eve
Hail Eve, full of wisdom,
The Light is with you.
Blessed are you, the First Woman,
And blessed is the fruit you shared with us.
Eve, Mother of Humanity,
Help us, your earthly children,
To live wisely, freely, and with joy.

Hymn to the Night
Night, parent goddess, source of sweet repose, from whom at first both Gods and men arose,
Hear, blessed Kypris, deck'd with starry light, in sleep's deep silence dwelling Ebon night! [1]
Night - undefined
Night - mystery
Night - the World's Lover!
As you gave birth
The Distinct was born
And the Universe was filled with colours.
And as I stare into your abysmal eyes
Resting in your embrace
Feeling your black wings around me
I see -
Your Void is a mirror.
Mother Night, may I always remember:
I have Infinity
Dwelling within me.
[1] Quote from the Orphic Hymn to Nyx, the rest is mine.

To Beelzebub Before Eating, a Blessing
With a special dedication for those who, like me, struggle with restricting.
Beelzebub, who feeds the Earth
I ask you to bless this meal[/food]
So it may nourish and fill me with life force
And help me enjoy it at peace - with no guilt.

Litany of Horrors
Inspired by Paradise Lost.
Lucifer of horrors,
Of broken wings and unbroken spirit,
The fire inside you stronger
Than the one in which you suffered,
May my flame burn as yours.
Lucifer of Infernal world,
May my flame burn as yours.
Lucifer of profoundest Hell,
May my flame burn as yours.
Lucifer of unconquerable mind,
May my flame burn as yours.
Light of Pandemonium!
May my flame burn as yours.
Light unextinguished!
May my flame burn as yours.
Light ever persistent!
May my flame burn as yours.
Possessor of Hell!
May my flame burn as yours.
And do not give me strength,
But help me find my own.
Be it so.

To the Morningstar
Lightbringer of Morning,
Lightbringer of the Night,
Come, brightest, come, starshining!
Falling Star, everburning with passion.
Never repentant, never giving up in your rebellion. Never going back.
Your light kissed the Earth
When lips of Eve kissed the Fruit,
And her eyes were opened.
Let me taste it too.
Let me see.
