The Case of Jeffrey Dahmer:
Sexual Serial Homicide from a Neuropsychiatric Developmental Perspective
J. Arturo Silva, M.D
Michelle M. Ferrari, M.D
Gregory B. Leong, M.D
)c(
"Sexual serial homicidal behavior has received considerable attention during the last three decades. Substantial progress has been made in the development of methods aimed at identifying and apprehending individuals who exhibit these behaviors. In spite of these advances, the origins of sexual serial killing behavior remain for the most part unknown. In this article we propose a biopsychosocial psychiatric model for un- derstanding the origins of sexual serial homicidal behavior from both neuropsychiatric and developmental perspectives, using the case of convicted serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer as the focal point. We propose that his homicidal behavior was intrinsically associated with autistic spectrum psy- chopathology, specifically Asperger’s disorder. The relationship of Asperger’s disorder to other psychopathology and to his homicidal behavior is explored. We discuss potential implications of the proposed model for the future study of the causes of sexual serial homicidal criminal."

« This is something that I've never seen – not actually made manifest in the courtroom before. Donald Trump's in that courtroom alone.
Jeffrey Dahmer's parents were there every single day.
It is, it is very hard to find a courtroom where the criminal defendant doesn't have a relative sitting there in the front row. »
— Lawrence O’Donnell at MSNBC pointing out the conspicuous absence of any of Trump's relatives in the courtroom at his New York trial. Being compared unfavorably to Jeffrey Dahmer is quite a burn.
Maybe the relatives just don't want to make a big stink about the case.
youtube
O'Donnell said this in conversation with psychologist Dr. Mary Trump – Donald's niece. It would have been fun if she then said she would try to fill one of those empty seats when court is back in session.

Netflix- Dahmer- Monster- The Jeff Dahmer Story- Episode Eight- “LIONEL”
Episode Eight-  Lionel
------------------------------------------------------------------------
  Trigger warning [Suicide mention]
Back to Lionel crying at the station.
He asks to see his son, they permit it.
Jeff apologises, his dad as you can imagine is in bits. He tells him that he needs help. He believes his son can get better.
Lionels trying to pick his brain, asking him why. He doesn't know.
Jeff tries to tell him about the roadkill and Lionel gets triggered and completely takes it the wrong way. He's clearly blaming himself.
Joyce Jeff's mother is getting hounded by the press.
She's working with LGBT men, introduces herself as "Joyce Flint" gets emotional at work.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lionel can't sleep. He hasn't slept in 5 days. He's blaming Joyce for all the pills that ruined Jeff. He's raging, blaming Joyce for everything. Shari comforts him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The police have closed off Jeff's Grandma's house. She has dementia now and Lionel has to go to help her. Police and press are outside and inside.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reverend Jackson does a march of solidarity with the victims families.
The Reverend is preaching the truth. But I used he's being coached by the police as well? He knows how to get a crowd going.
The Konerack cops, Balzerack and Gabrish are both put on paid leave. They complain and say they are going to fight this [ Really, they should have been FIRED, FIRED, but hey what do I know?]
  Victims are going on TV,
A blacked out guest makes an accusation that Jeff was abused by Lionel.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lionel meets up with Jeff and his lawyer to try to convince Jeff to put through an insanity plea. Jeff said that he knew what he was doing, that he wasn't crazy. But his dad pushes for this change, telling him about the Ed Gein case. He's already read about Gein in a comic book.
Lionel is blaming comic book culture now
The Judge turns down the insanity plea.
Outside of the courtroom Joyce and Lionel have a shouting match.,
Joyce goes to the Grandmother of one of his victims [Curtis Straughter] to ask them to put in a good word for Jeff???
  Whaaaaaatttttt???????
----------------------------------------------------------------
Victims impact statement are read out.
  I feel for Glenda
Lionel meets Jeff and breaks down finally blaming himself in part for what happened.
  Joyce tries to kill herself.
Lionel gets the news, but he's not too bothered. But he'll call David soon. but right now he's busy typing his book on everything he's been going through.
The Konerack officers get re promoted and repaid.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  Notes
Acting off the charts as usual
Joyce is Self centred AF!!! How dare she go to the families  of the victims!!!!
Even in jail, Lionel doesn't really listen to Jeff
The Konerack police officers getting reinstated did make me sick! This did happen in real life. These officers ruined lives and nothing really happens. They get their jobs back. BACKPAY. They just go back to the force like nothing has happened. They should have been BANNED AND I mean BANNED from any type of umbrella term  Law work.
It's just so disturbing to me!
As always Richard Jenkins makes me cry lol. This actor is frigging amazeballs. Every scene!!!
My favourite scenes.........

I've been saying this for ages but true crime tv and shallow 18+ romance novels need to be cringe again. i don't care what anyone says, people are getting too comfortable talking about serial killers and violence online and taking pride in reading books deprived of any actual quality as if they were masterpieces of literature. some things should be enjoyed in secret and they have no place in mainstream media.

serial killer analyses 🕷 vedic astrology
richard ramirez (the night stalker) 28/02/60 2:07am el paso, texas
Tumblr media
jyeshta ascendant, uttarabhadprada moon, mars-venus conjunct in shravana 3rd house
ascendant usually denotes basic personality & themes of life is seen by nakshatra. jyeshta nakshatra is a karaka of occult, ascendant in jyeshta gives reason for ramirez to be a self proclaimed satanist and claiming satanism to be a stabilising force in his life. moon in uttara bhadrapada further reinforces this as it is a karaka of occult and magic, and in some cases the mind expands past reality into realms of fantasy. mars-venus conjunct in shravana 3rd house ~ mars conjunct venus most likely explains why he attracted so many ‘fangirls’ following his arrest, writing him letters in prison (3rd house indicates communication & letters). also 3rd house represents communities & immediate environment, shravana is the karaka of walking, footsteps & listening carefully, mars in the case of a serial killer represents acts of violence. i think this is interesting as ramirez’s shoe prints were found at a numerous amount of his crime scenes, this was the most significant key linking factor of evidence for police investigation prior to eventually identifying & arresting ramirez
ted bundy 24/11/46 10:35pm burlington, vermont
Tumblr media
magha ascendant, moon-ketu-mars conjunct in jyeshta 4th house, sun-mercury-venus conjunct in anurdha 4th house, rahu in rohini 10th house
magha ascendant people usually are prideful and receive lots of recognition throughout life. additionally bundy’s 1st house lord (sun), is conjunct venus and mercury representing charisma and intelligence. this is gives reason to how his horrific criminal profile was heavily romanticised by popular media, inspiring many novels and films. alongside his “charming” & “intelligent” aura in trial which attracted a mass of public attention. rahu in rohini in the 10th house ~ the 10th house represents what one wishes & what one does in life, rahu represents immoral acts, deception, imprisonment, insatiable desires & pleasure seeking, rohini is the karaka of blushing women, fertile women & arousal. this gives reason to why ted bundy targeted specifically young & ‘fertile’ women as the object of his insatiable desires to commit such horrific acts. moon-ketu-mars in jyeshta ~ stereotypically this conjunction denotes emotional & internal issues, especially being in scorpio where moon is debilitated, this is a badly inflicted placement for moon. ketu-mars conjunct represents aggression and explosive acts of violence (when negatively inflicted), being conjunct with moon is very telling of someone with a “mindset of a serial killer”, emotionally (moon ~ mindset & emotions) desensitised (ketu ~  lack of attachment or care) to acting out in horrific ways (mars ~ violent acts)

moon in revati 7th house, venus in krittika in 8th house
revati moon ~ like uttara bharapada the mind usually expands past reality and into realms of fantasy, this is due to revati being the last nakshatra & uttara bhadrapada the second last, both in pisces. venus in krittika 8th house ~ 8th house represents sexuality, secrets, death & addictions, venus represents love & beauty, krittika is a karaka of sharp objects like knives, cutting, cooking & eating. the story of dahmer was that he would lure men he found beautiful & sexually attractive to his apartment in order to commit his crimes, he also would eat & keep their skeletons as he said he wanted to feel closer to his “love interests”.
david berkowitz (the son of sam) 01/06/53 4:52pm brooklyn, new york
Tumblr media
mercury-mars conjunct in mrigasira 8th house
mercury-mars conjunct mrigasira 8th house ~ one notable aspect of berkowitz’s case is that he would leave anonymous hand written letters beside his victims, eluding & taunting investigators as they were unable to catch him & describing himself as a monster. mercury represents letters & communication, mars again represents acts of violence in a serial killer’s chart, 8th house represents death, secrets & addictions, mrigasira is a karaka of searching, sensing & blending in with the crowd. a deer head is the symbol of mrigasira, deers strategically blend in with the herd & are innately cautious to not leave their scent in order to avoid predation. mrigasira is actually a soft & gentle natured nakshatra however malefic planets like mars can cause an inability to be soft or gentle
ღ this is based off my personal observations and research. the astrological placements do not solely or inherently indicate one will commit criminal acts, i’m just interpreting placements i find in their charts ღ

Patrick Kennedy’s first and last encounter with Jeffrey Dahmer:
Grilling Dahmer, chapter 2:
I entered first and saw three more uniformed cops, all dripping with sweat. They were straddling a Caucasian male suspect, who lay face down on the floor, handcuffed behind his back and shackled at the feet. One officer had his knee firmly in the suspect's back, another held his leg-ironed feet, and the third cop wiped his face with a hanky. Their uniforms looked just as unkempt as the first officer's.
I looked at the suspect as he lay on the floor. His light-colored hair was greasy and wet with perspiration. The faded denim shirt he wore was drenched with sweat, and I noticed he was bleeding slightly from the corner of his mouth. There was an obvious rug burn on his right elbow, glistening blood red. He appeared completely defeated, but his condition showed that a great struggle brought him to that point. He was motionless but made an ever-so-faint crying whine, like that of a child or a cat in the night.
The suspect walked slowly as he tried to negotiate the leg irons. His head was bowed over his slouched shoulders, but even in this position, I could tell he was over six feet and in good shape.
The wagon pulled up to the entrance of the apartment building, so the trip from the door was quick. I assisted the suspect into the wagon and climbed in after him. The two conveying officers got in the front and drove away toward the station. No one said a word as we cruised back downtown. I eyed the suspect as we rode. Although he was a good-sized man, he appeared almost fragile, sitting hunched over and trembling slightly. At the station, he cooperated-almost zombie-like as I led him into the prisoner elevator and up to the interrogation rooms on the fourth floor.
Once inside, I pointed to the cuffs and leg irons and said, "Take these off him."
"Look, Pat, I wouldn't do that. I had to fight with this fuckhead and he's no pussy." I looked at the copper and his pudgy partner and I knew he was not kidding.
I turned to the suspect. "Hey, if you give me your word you won't act up, we can take these off."
For the first time, the suspect looked at me directly and I caught his steely blue eyes. He nodded in affirmation and I motioned again for the officers to remove his shackles.

Grilling Dahmer, chapter 22/23:
Two deputies flanked Jeff and returned him to the holding cell. I walked over to him, standing alone, locked inside. As I approached, he moved closer to the bars of his cell. I reached through and took his outstretched hand. "Pat, I want to thank you for everything you did for me," he said. Shaking his hand for what I believed would be the last time, I said, “Good luck, Jeff. Take care of yourself." Then I turned and walked away.
People always say that I must have seen evil in his eyes as I sat down face to face with him during our interrogations, and I have to honestly tell them that I didn't. I saw a very normal, ordinary guy who-when we talked about things other than his crimes seemed very much like me, like you, like anybody you would meet.

“Despite Dahmer's crimes, Kennedy describes an odd kind of kinship that developed as he genuinely began accepting Dahmer's remorse for his numerous murders, and therefore experienced some grief when Dahmer was beaten to death a few years later. Kennedy quickly adds that he didn't befriend Dahmer at all during the time they spent meeting, and never considered him as anything other than a murder suspect. He did not continue to correspond with him and, in fact, never saw him again after Dahmer was led off to serve his sentence.”
More about Kennedy perspective:
youtube
As strange as it may seem, Jeffrey really trusted Detective Kennedy, and on the other hand Detective Kennedy low-key liked Dahmer. Without the help of Kennedy, Jeffrey wouldn’t opened up so easily.

Hollywood and the Infotainment Machine are obsessed with Jeffrey Dahmer. How could they not be? The story has all the trash they love to peddle - psychos, serial killer, homosexuality, grumsome murders, cannibalism, and necrophilia.
There have been five movies or TV series made about Dahmer and his crimes - the latest produced by Ryan Murphy of American Horror fame starring his favorite actor Evan Peters. It’s 10 episodes long! What do they plan to do? Reenact the 16 murders in real-time?!?
Ugh! no thanks.
The Secret Life: Jeffrey Dahmer (1993) Carl Crew
Dahmar (2002) Jeremy Renner (I have to say Renner looks particularly stupid in the role)
Raising Jeffrey Dahmer (2006) Rusty Sneary
My Friend Dahmer (2017) Ross Lynch
Netflix Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022) Evan Peters
PLUS there have been at least 14 Documentaries!

So Netflix has made a documentary about the D3pp vs. Heard trial. Why do we need this? Because unless it’s going through the documents that his moronic fans paid to have released that revealed what a disgusting, lying, abusive monster he is, I don’t see the point. It’s Netflix, so I don’t see them taking that route. This is the same company that made Dahmer without a single thought to ask the victim’s families how they felt. They re-traumatized them and I have a feeling they’re going to re-traumatize Amber. Fuck you, Netflix for continuing to profit off of victims and survivors.

it’s really frustrating seeing post after post complaining about how sterilized and lifeless art these days is and how “everyone expects art to be more morally pure” while also seeing the amber heard trial , the tiger king documentary, and the dahmer netflix show go viral, and true crime in general rot people’s brains into either being scared to go outside or wanting to fuck actual real life serial killers and i don’t know if those are connected at all but it still sucks!
