Last batch of survivor cats! Now to work on the killers :)

Believe it or not, I posted these in the dbd subreddit and everyone fucking loved them. Straight white gamer dudes included. These dudes were saying how much they loved their survivor mains' designs, which ones they'd adopt, and one dude said he's glad none of them look too much like his actual cat because he'd have to change his cat's name to match the name of the character I designed most similarly to his cat. Maybe reddit isn't as bad as everyone thought. 🤷🤷

Yun Jin's design was pretty easy to come up with, seeing as she wears mostly white and has white hair haha. Her name is a very vague reference to her stage name, Magnum Opus.

Jill was also pretty easy to design! I just gave her the same color fur as her hair and added some white markings for a bit of flair :) her name is a reference to her perk, Blastmine. A very vague and shitty reference, but a reference all the same!

Leon's name is either dumb as hell or pure genius. In the case of the latter, I'll just say that my brilliance scares me sometimes (/s). It's just a reference to his perk, Rookie Spirit, and his coat design was very randomly chosen on my part but hey, I think it suits him!

Chris and Claire, for whatever reason, I've wanted to design as Savannah Cats since I started this little project. And I think that worked out! Chris' name is a joke on the boulder punching Chris meme. As for Claire, well, I was gonna give her the prefix 'Red' but i gave that one to Jane and I didn't want a prefix repeat. So I took something that could be co sidereal Red and made it her prefix. The suffix I just thought was nice!

Big surprise! More DBD warrior cats!

Yui is a Japanese Bobtail! These cats are adorable and seeing as Yui is Japanese, well...the choice of cat was obvious. I also gave her multicolored eyes because the amount of brown-eyed characters I have to work with is absurd and I want to have fun. Her name is self-explanatory afsyfahsvdhs

Do you know how hard it is to find a proper golden tabby ref when all Google gives me are pics of orange tabby himbo cats? I was basically working with warrior cat fanart at this point. But hey, I like how he turned out! His name is a combination of his pelt color and a nod to his perk, Visionary (-sight suffix).

All my brown cats have darker stripes/splotches so I gave Zarina lighter stripes! It's also kind of a nod to her slightly bleached hair haha. Her name is, again, a nod to her perk (Red Herring being a fish related name), combined with a warrior suffix I thought seemed good.

Every picture I see of Cheryl has her with different colored eyes so I just gave her green ones. As for her design...I wanted her to look a bit different from my previous designs with stripes on their faces in favor of a mask. She kind of looks like a yellow Dovewing tbh. Her name is a combination of Soul Guard and a suffix I thought was nice!

Tortoiseshell Elodie was an idea that grabbed me by the throat and demanded to be drawn. I also couldn't come up with a good name based on her actual perk names, so I took the idea of 'deception' and kinda took the word for what it means: stealth. Trickery. So 'shadow' was the prefix I settled on.

Heya! More DBD warrior cats!

I usually ramble in the tags but this time I'll put my thoughts under a readmore!

Bro there's so many brunettes in DBD that I'm getting tired of making brown cats. So I played with colors to make them more unique instead of Generic Brown Tabby No.250.

Jane has a reddish hue to her hair so I figured I'd go all out with that and make her a red cat. She's super round and fluffy but she can and will wreck your shit. Her name was fairly uncreative on my part tbh.

I almost made Nancy a brown cat but I looked at her default cosmetic and was like "yeah. I can work with that." So now she's a white cat with brown stripes. Her name is also a combination of her color and a suffix I thought would suit her driven, focused character. So she's Snowsight.

Jonathan was relatively easy to design. He's a bit ragged-looking and pretty plain compared to the rest, but I like his design. I think it suits him. The name was, again, kind of uninspired. Bro it's hard picking warrior names for these guys.

Ash is yet another brown tabby (wow, creative) but I tried making him look a bit more distinct. Not that hard when he has a metal paw. The name is also pretty on-the-nose, Ash since that's his name, claw for the metal paw.

Steve was fun as hell to draw. He'd be a very flashy, fluffy cat who kind of sucks at fighting but would die to protect his fellow teammates warriors. And yes he still has the Hair(TM). I was trying so hard to figure out a name for him but then I realized Secondwind is both his perk's name and a valid warrior name lol
