[CN] Victor’s Encounter Date (Eng Translation)

The date begins with MC in her office at 11pm, preparing Victor’s “big surprise”

Over the past two weeks, she has been sending Victor small gifts to express her gratitude for his help in getting her a smooth interview with Mr Sheng, a real estate tycoon

While she’s in the office, Victor calls her regarding the puppy apron he received

Overall, he would give brief comments on these gifts. He would only say a word of thanks when he occasionally comes across a gift which suits his tastes.

As for the puppy apron I sent today...

Before I can continue asking him about the apron, Victor has already changed the topic.

Victor: If you’re willing to spend all your time on official business, you wouldn’t need to stay up every day... work is never-ending. It’s about time to go home and rest.

MC: Eh?

How does he know that I haven’t returned home to rest yet?

I hastily look out the window. A black car is stationary under the streetlamp. Even though I can’t see the car plate clearly, my instincts tell me that it’s Victor.

MC: Why are you here?

Victor: I was just passing by.

Really...

Victor: Come down. I’ll send you home.

MC: Okay! I’ll pack my things and head down.

Victor: There doesn’t seem to be a big proposal recently. Why do you have to stay till so late?

My heart rattles, and I hurriedly find a reason to get by.

MC: Maybe my mood hasn’t been good recently, so I’m always not in the zone when doing work.

I thought Victor would respond to my words with taunting remarks. Instead his tone slows down, revealing his certainty in me.

Victor: The interview you did with Mr Sheng wasn’t bad. There’s no need to be too impatient, or give yourself too much stress. The accumulation of work always requires time.

Just before I turn the lights off, I toss another glance at the present on the table. Even though he can’t see my expression, I can’t help but smile and nod.

MC: All right.

The next day, Mr Sheng sends her an invitation to a club to meet some of his friends in the industry, mentioning that MC’s interviews have had a positive effect on his company’s reputation

She agrees because it’s an opportunity to expand her network

When she arrives at the club, Victor happens to be there too

Mr Sheng receives a phone call and leaves Victor and MC alone

Victor doesn’t let her drink alcohol, and orders her a glass of warm water instead:

Noticing me look longingly at the beautifully coloured tequila sunrise in his hand, he puts a small red paper umbrella into my cup.

Later on, MC finds herself with nothing to do, so Victor stuffs a cue stick into her hand and suggests they have a game of billiards

MC suggests that if she wins, he has to pass her proposal

She had spent two months on the proposal, but Victor had put it down, saying that it's overly risky

MC: Don’t underestimate me! I’ve won second place in my school’s billiards competition.

While I was prepared for his taunting remarks, Victor grows silent instead.

His interest seems to be piqued, and he sits sideways on the billiard table.

Victor: You’ve left the nest?

He chalks the tip of the cue stick slowly. Seeing that I didn’t say a word, he lifts his eyes towards me, as though genuinely wanting to know my answer to this question.

Actually...

These types of situations happen from time to time. After all, no one wants the proposals they’ve worked hard on to be rejected.

As long as Victor doesn’t completely reject the proposal, I’ll keep on striving.

Come to think of it, this seems to be the first time he has commented on my efforts to keep striving.

Victor: All right. We’ll have one round.

Without waiting for my response, he has already made a decision. His low voice has a hint of joy in it.

I hold my breath and find the most comfortable angle to strike the ball. The colourful balls crash and collide, and one of them rolls in a straight line to the lower right corner--

MC: Yes!

Victor looks at the colourful ball as it rolls into the bag. His brows are raised slightly, and he is clearly surprised.

Victor: No wonder you dared to challenge me today.

MC: The stereotype you have of me is too deep. I’m not really a dummy!

Victor: A dummy’s luck just tends to be better.

My desire to win is ignited. No matter what, I’m going to fight back against his ridicule.

MC: Watch carefully - this is skill, not luck!

Victor leans at the corner of the billiard table, his arms folded. It’s as though he is intrigued, and has an expression which says that he’s going to continue appreciating my “performance”.

My cue stick moves forward, and the white ball leaves my corner, colliding firmly against a bunch of colourful pool balls, and then gets hit into the diagonal bottom pocket...

At the very same moment, I can clearly hear Victor’s chuckle.

Victor: Mm, your skills are not bad.

MC: There’s no need to be too happy. It’s 1 against 0. I’m in the lead.

Victor takes two steps forward. He retrieves the white ball from the bag, gets into position, and leans down slowly.

He isn’t anxious to enter the game at all. He adjusts the angle several times before lifting his head to look at me.

Victor: If you lose, you’re not allowed to cry.

MC: Are you treating me like a child?

Right after the words leave my mouth, the two balls that are hit roll outwards with a “ping”. One rolls into the middle bag, and one rolls into the bottom bag.

At the same time, he stands in position without a hint of hesitation, and strikes. The “ping ping” sounds of impact reverberate continuously in the room--

I lean against the wall nervously, “appreciating” how Victor makes shot after shot, striking the balls into the hole.

His calm expression and skilful techniques completely strip the game of suspense.

He stops his movements and looks at the watch on his wrist. He straightens up and arches an eyebrow towards me slightly.

Victor: Do you still want to continue?

MC: Of course we’ll continue...

My words lack confidence, but I’m someone whose resolve will not die until I reach my goal...

Victor: Don’t waste time. Let’s set new rules. The one who gets the black ball in first wins.

Victor lets MC go first, but she starts feeling nervous

Victor: Want to admit defeat?

MC: Not at all...

After a pause, I say what’s in my heart.

MC: I can’t win against you.

Suddenly, a familiar scent surrounds me.

Victor leans over, pressing himself against my back, holding my cue stick with both hands.

The cue stick controlled by Victor strikes the white ball cleanly. After a crisp sound of impact, the black ball rolls straight into the middle bag.

Victor: Congratulations, your proposal has passed.

Victor’s low voice is at my ear, tinged with a smile.

Not knowing if I should be happy or not, I mutter softly.

MC: This can hardly be called winning...

Victor: I didn’t say that you won. I already passed your proposal last night. You didn’t check your e-mail after work.

Victor’s breath descends on the side of my neck, bringing with it a ticklish residual heat and water vapour. His embrace limits my movements, and my line of sight is confined to the frizz on the billiard table.

MC: ...

Victor: This round of creativity is indeed very risky. If you lose against the market-

MC: I will win!

Without waiting for him to finish, I cut him off.

MC: If it fails, I’ll double this year’s revenue!

I express my attitude decisively. Victor suddenly lowers his head and leans even closer.

The sudden closing of distance magnifies every small detail between us. I can smell his cool and clear scent, and hear every one of his steady breaths.

Victor: I’ll wait and see.

Victor’s body temperature seeps through his thin shirt, covering my slightly trembling back.

Flustered, I try to turn around. Just as I turn my head, my cheek is pressed against his chin.

At this moment, the doors are suddenly flung open. Mr Sheng and a group of others are chatting heartily and about to enter the room. Seeing Victor and I, they pause.

Realising in shock that the position Victor and I are in appears too intimate, I hurriedly squirm out from under his arm, and stand at a corner silently.

On the other hand, Victor calmly straightens up, looking straight at the audience.

Mr Sheng gives me a knowing smile. There’s even a bit of unexpected fondness in his eyes...

Mr Sheng: CEO Victor, I was going to introduce you to two friends who just returned from Wall Street.

Victor retrieves his business card from his pocket, and a small hairpin falls onto the ground.

It’s a red hairpin with a small bowknot on it. There are even two coloured diamonds embedded on the bowknot...

Everyone’s attention is focused on the hairpin.

At that moment, a sentence flashes across my mind: I’m doomed.

With a blank expression, he stoops down to pick up the hairpin, and looks at me without a trace of surprise.

Victor: When did you put this into my pocket?

Sensing the playful glances from the crowd of onlookers, my cheeks flush involuntarily.

MC: I... don’t remember the specific moment, but I did it when you weren’t paying attention...

Victor knits his eyebrows, revealing a perplexed expression.

Victor: Another gift for me?

MC: Yes.

After speaking, I have a “since I’m going to die, I might as well make it worth it” attitude, and continue.

MC: You can use this hairpin to clip up your bangs. I think it’s quite practical when used during work...

Even though I’m certain that I’m speaking in a volume only Victor and I can hear, everybody’s teasing smiles make me feel uneasy...

Victor has maintained the reputation of a thousand-year iceberg for so long. I’m afraid it has been ruined by my hands on this night.

Victor: What nonsense are you thinking about the entire day...

While saying this, Victor puts the small hairpin back into his pocket.

Victor’s reputation is still a formidable one. Even if Victor doesn’t explain himself, the gossip of the onlookers end as soon as he takes out his business card.

All the way till the end of dinner, I obediently maintain a smile, not daring to mention the hairpin to Victor.

On our way home, after much rumination, I decide to give Victor a solemn apology. Before the apology leaves my lips, Victor brings up the topic.

Victor: I accept your goodwill entirely. Could you stop giving me gifts now?

I nod reluctantly, but still struggle with my apology.

MC: I’m sorry about what happened today...

Victor: What are you sorry for?

MC: For making a fool out of you in front of so many people.

Victor: No one will think that way.

Victor adjusts the cuffs of his suit with a calm expression on his face.

It’s as though what happened just now was really not enough to pose an issue to him.

After a few days, MC appears before Victor with a exquisitely wrapped present

Victor looks as though he’s about to say something, but his phone rings. I stand up quietly, silently gesturing an “I’m leaving” with my hands.

Victor: Wait.

Right after taking two steps, Victor stops me.

Victor: I’ll pick you up at 6pm.

I turn around to see him covering the bottom half of the phone. I hurriedly nod, and suddenly think of something.

MC: Have you started using the puppy apron?

Victor tosses me a glance. After a few seconds of silence, he continues with his phone call.

Dream Weaver Guide

Idk why I wrote this.

Dream Weaver is a resource-hungry feature (unless you have 5k or more items and unlimited materials), although it could be done casually. It’s not as annoying as crafting Black Stunning Beauty and Grice tho. As usual, please pardon my grammar.

Dream Weaver is a place featuring the NPC/Dream Weaver personal data and background/stories (Dreamland). Although generally open, some Dream Weaver’s Dreamlands are locked until the player gain Spirit of Sheen from Event or finish another Dreamland. Each Chapter of each Dreamland also locked until some requirements fulfilled.

Dream Weaver is also the only way to obtain Miracle Soul/Spirit items that can raise certain Style Attribute point.

Will be updated depend on my game play and our publisher’s patch

Recall Dreamland is where you can access the Dream Weaver’s stories aka Dreamland. It will look like this:

The publisher will update the Dreamland of each Dream Weaver whenever they want.

Institute Request

Your best source of Stone of Love, Stone of Sky, Stone of Dream, and Stone of Night! You can get the stones from Dreamland too but it’s not drop-able like Main Story’s Stages/Maps.

The 3 requests are free per day, and cost 50 Diamonds to refresh it. Mostly will cost Clothing Materials, and cheap drop/store Wardrobe items. The item left works like Decomposition feature. Always check the upper right button!

I don’t know why they translate them as ‘designer’ since not all of them is one. Basically just to change the Dream Weaver.

(Floating) Dream Island

Please ignore the bad text format. Dream Island is the only way to get Stone of Dazzling, Stone of Brilliance, and Spirit of Sheen. It can be explored for free once per day.

Once in a while, a trace of Spirit of Sheen will be seen in the small island (the publisher will make it as a ‘Floating Dream Island Event’). Nikki needs to reach that place to get it (the Explore thing contain random number of steps). The problem is... the Event will appear in a limited time, so waiting for free attempt is futile (unless you’re blessed with RNG luck). There will be a ‘luck bar’ available during the Event. Every time Nikki exploring the island, the bar got higher. Higher the bar, higher the chance to get the Spirit of Sheen.

I used 1200 Diamonds when tried to obtain Fu Su’s, and 900 for Sofia’s. Yeah, greedy MiraLand travel agency.

The Event usually will come again, so don’t worry if you missed one. I don’t know whether you could obtain it again if you already has one (but what for?).

SPIRITS

Or Miracle Soul.

Completing the early chapters of each Dreamland or gaining a Spirit of Sheen will get you the basic Spirit. It need to be evolved through the Dreamland.

Evolving normal Spirit will need amount of Stone of Love, Stone of Sky, Stone of Dream, and Stone of Night.

Evolving Spirit of Sheen will need amount of Stone of Dazzling and Stone of Brilliance.

Player will get total 4 Spirits from each Dreamland. It will not disappear even after you evolve it. Each Spirits has Style Attributes, and can increase a certain Style Attributes point.

The Spirits has wide variation of forms, not limited as fashion items only. Some of it can be used in View Mode.

THE DREAMLAND’S REQUIREMENTS & PRIZES

To ascend next Chapter, generally you will need:

Possession of certain Wardrobe Items (ugh)

Upgrading the Spirit and/or Spirit Style Attributes (consumed Fluorites)

Styling

Answering question with multiple choices

Regarding the Styling, there’s only Pass or Failed. I've passed with S, A, or B, and there's no difference. The score standard also lower than usual.

Regarding the Question, the Dream Weaver will told player that 'fate will become divergent from here’. However, it’s unknown what the differences between each option since the story still heading for the same direction. The dialogues will be different tho. You can pick different answer even after you already completed the chapter/Dreamland.

Completing a Dreamland usually will get you one hidden suit (I usually post it in tag /hidden-suit?), although sometimes that one suit will be scattered in several Dreamlands (of certain Dream Weaver; So far only happen in Lunar’s).

Types of Skirts and Ways to Style Them

Everyone likes to dress well and look stylish. There are many who tries to follow global trends and imitate fashion icons; but fails to carry themselves in confidence and style. This happens when you follow a trend blindly; without knowing yourself and your body type properly.

Out of all the outfits that are in vogue and trickier to style, skirts are the ones that you can never go wrong with. Skirts are not only fashionable but even a novice fashion enthusiast can easily wear and style it.

Yet, it is suggested that you have a basic idea about the various types and patterns of skirts that are available in the market.

Although, you will come across hundreds of different varieties, but there are few that are most worn and are considered as wardrobe staples by fashion experts and designers. Below listed are few of the skirt types that are loved by many and have remained a fashion essential for decades.

1. Denim skirt- Who doesn’t love denims? Every single person irrespective of being a fashion fanatic or not, owns a pair of denim outfit. So, if you have a denim skirt lying on your closet, its time you make use of it.

If you have a split seam midi denim skirt, team it with a light blue/ white shirt and a black belt around your waist. High-heels are a must for this outfit; with your hair open of course! Keep your accessories minimum. Diamond stud earrings, a watch and a great pair of shades will do the work.

And pick a comfortable pair of pointed ballet flats to match the outfit. Floral motif stud earrings for your ears and few sprays of a floral perfume will create magic.

3. A-line skirt- From puff sleeve top to halter necks, shirts to crop tops, spaghetti to full-sleeves turtle necks, this skirt goes well with all. You just need to mix and match the color of the skirt with the top. For shoes, you can opt for gladiator sandals or flat ankle straps or even stiletto heels.

4. Pencil skirt- Most women prefer wearing pencil skirts to office, but you do not need to limit yourself to wearing it just for official purpose. Rather if you have a black leather pencil skirt, you can team it with a golden or silver satin spaghetti top and chic high-heels, and voila…you will be ready to rock a night-party.

If you want to create a rugged look, then pair the same black skirt with a red plaid shirt and bowknot high-heels or pumps.

5. *A/N : I wrote this a while ago and posted it to Quotev on my account their. This was what got me back into writing and has helped me with dealing with the death of my Mom and 3 uncles that happened in 2 years time. It is because of these that my ability to write has fluctuated over these past months and only worsens with my Mom’s 1st Anniversary coming up on May 23rd…..3 days after my own birthday on May 20th. I am wanting to continue writing and finish this story as I have it all planned out in my head, just gotta get it onto here. I will try to focus more on this series but I may jump back and forth between a lot as I tend to come up with ideas and want to write them down and share them with you all. So I hope you guys like this story, it does have a few similarities with my fav char on The Vampire Diaries, the Myth, the Legend, the Baddest Bitch of All…...Katerina Petrova aka Katherine Pierce!!! And it will contain story elements or plots of many TV Shows or movies I love throughout it. All of which I do not claim any rights to anything that does come from other works!! They are supposed to be just shoutouts and show I love their work. Lady Brooke is loosely based off Sophia Bush’s character on One Tree Hill. I love her on the show and she was easily my fav char!!! Well I hope you enjoy and I’ll add the next chapters when I can!!

I’m can’t move….

I’m scared….

A man moves towards me with a smile….

I scream for help….

I jolt up, looking around, slowly breathing, calming down seeing the back of the limo, I sigh when a voice says to me,

“Lady Redbird, we have arrived in Beacon Hills and are 20 minutes from the Redbird Manor” my driver says,

“Antwan, for the last time please, call me Brooke” I say smiling at him then look out the window.

I look down to see I my travel outfit, black silk with lace trim tank top, black cotton sweater with a couple of buttons down up, black leggings, red flats, emerald and diamond bracelet and an antique black iron necklace attached with a square emerald crystal. My sweater is a little wrinkled from me moving in my sleep, so I slightly get up smoothing it out. Then I continue to look out to see Beacon Hills while memories flash in my head. I remember when this town was a village back in 1890 and when I helped fund the new school in 1941.

We pull up to Redbird Lane, which my family’s manor is located on. As the limo turns onto the familiar driveway, we stop at the gate.

“Antwan Delaver” Antwan says passing his ID to the guard, who scans it, nodding to let us in as he buzzes the gate open.

We drive on in, passing big beautiful willow trees blowing in the wind, all which I planted as seeds and helped grow. Arriving at the front doors to Redbird Manor, Antwan gets out and helps bring in my luggage,

“Thanks Antwan, go unpack, get some sleep” I tell him while giving him a hug,

“Sure thing Brooke” Antwan smiles as he walks back to the limo driving it to the garage, grabbed his luggage and then heads towards his room on the 2nd Floor in the East Wing.

I head on up the staircase at the end of the hall leading to a landing, that splits off towards the East and West Wings. I head towards my master room located at the other side of the stairs, in between the East and West Wings. I begin to unpack, as I buzz Shelia on the intercom,

“Hey, Shelia can you come to my bedroom for a minute?” I say sweetly.

I am halfway unpacked as Shelia knocks on my bedroom door

“It’s open” I say putting new clothes I got while in my loft at Miami,

“Brooke, how was Florida?” Shelia says coming up to hug me,

“It was great, I loved the beach, especially all the shirtless guys” I tell her while smirking,

“And no shopping?” Shelia asks saddened,

“Well one must always make time for shopping” I say matter of factly,

“So how was my lovely assistant’s flight in the new jet?” I ask curious,

“You mean how much I love the new astronomically big jet”

Shelia smiles remembering her time on the jet.

I smile, happy that she was happy,

“So is the Beacon Hills High School’s Principal meeting me tomorrow?” I ask her.

“Yes, Principal Matthews will promptly meet you at 8:00 in the morning, I have already sent your grades over when I got here and already told him you were to start as a freshman as you were held back because of the homeschooling” Shelia tells me checking her cell phone smiling as she knows my grades and homeschooling are a lie,

“Thanks Shelia, your dismissed for the night, please tell the staff also.” I say in my closet looking for something to sleep in.

I finally decide on some new sleepwear for tonight, which all I got from Miami. My emerald green silk satin chemise with luxurious bespoke embroidery. Matched with black ultra thin tulle, scalloped edge and leavers-lace trim pantie briefs. And my emerald-green liquid-like silk-satin and midnight-black whisper-fine Chantilly lace frame robe besides my bed if need be.

After changing, I check my cell, calling someone I haven’t called in a while,

“Cleo? How’s Egypt?” I ask,

“Great, Redbird Industries is up 5% here” Cleo states,

“I miss you. I arrived back to our home” I say sitting on my king sized bed,

“I miss you too Brooke, I miss home” Cleo says at little sad,

“Maybe we should move up our yearly meet to next week?” I ask,

“I can after my fundraiser next week, but you know Amara hates short notice, she loves the Amazon too much” Cleo says laughing with me as we know how Amara will react,

“I’ll call Amara, but you have to call Mariko” I say playfully,

“Ugh come on, you know Mariko is still mad at me for Jason!” Cleo says a little annoyed,

“You two need to patch things up anyways, it’s been two years” I say lying on my emerald green fleur-de-lis and black background polyester blanket.

Cleo sighs, “Fine, but who’s gonna tell Bethany?”

“I will, since I’m making you reconnect with Mariko” I say

“Okay, I need to go, I have a lot of paper work to finish” Cleo complains,

“You always wait for the last minute to do your homework” I say laughing,

“I so don’t miss highschool, I don’t know how you do it” Cleo states,

“I love school, it helps me keep human, but I need to go to bed anyways” I say sleepily,

“Okay, goodnight sister” Cleo says,

“Goodnight sister” I say then hangup, putting my cell on the bedside table.

I lay back, curling up under my blanket and everything starts to go black as I drift off.

I wake up hearing a knock on my door,

“Yes” I sigh,

“Brooke, breakfast will be ready in an hour” Shelia tells me through the door,

“Thanks Shelia” I say sitting up yawning.

I get up putting on my emerald robe and walking to my bathroom, using the sink to splash water on my face. I turn around, walking to turn the shower on, then pick out a playlist to listen to. Eventually deciding on Bethany Joy Lenz, I walk over to hook up my cell to my stereo and play my music. Returning to the shower, taking off my robe and clothes, hopping in. After 15 minutes of singing along to “Elsewhere”, “When the Stars Go Blue” featuring Tyler Hilton, “Halo”, “Feel This” featuring Enation, “I Want Something That I Want” featuring Grace Potter and “We Belong”.

I get out and put on my robe, heading to the walk-in closest to pick out my outfit for the day. Looking through my clothes, I decide on a underwire strapless seamless bra, bowknot scalloped zigzag pattern lace brief panties, wine red polyester knee-length off the shoulder 3/4 length sleeves with lace fit and flare ball gown dress. I then put on my makeup, a black smokey eye with flared out eyelashes, blood red lipstick with bright lip gloss and blood red nail polish with a clear coat.

I decided on my emerald antique necklace, pear-shaped emerald with sterling silver ring on my right ring finger, emerald and diamond with sterling silver bracelet on my left wrist and square emerald with sterling silver earrings. I just let my reddish brown hair down and styled it so the ends feathered out.

I put on my black Louboutin six-inch ankle-heels, grabbed my wine red Prada tote purse, walk to my bedside table. Putting my black Gucci wallet and red Samsung Galaxy in my Prada tote purse, heading towards the door.

I eventually walk in the dining room, where on the side table is this beautiful breakfast. There's fruits, different types of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, rice, sausages, oatmeal, cereals and yogurts. Milk, juices, water, mimosas and ice cubes in a bucket beside the food.

The big cherry wood dining table is set up with the red silk cover, white moth orchids in the center and red with gold fleur-de-lis porcelain plates.

I walk over to grab some watermelon slices, removed-calyx strawberries (calyx is the leafy steam), pitted-cherries, mango chunks and peach slices. Grabbed a core 16.5 oz. blanc wine glass, poured a special mix of port red wine and blood from a decanter. Bring my plate and wine glass to my spot at the head of west end of the table, sitting down starting to eat.

“So how's everyone doing with the move hear?” I ask taking a drink,

“Good, the kids have settled down just fine Lady Redbird” Miss Carlotta Byrd says, my Head Cook,

“Same here” Miss Slim Ventura says, my Head Maid,

“They love it out here in California”, my Stable Master McKenzie Hart says,

“Awe, does Haley and Seth liking their new school? How do Simone and Lana like the new mall? Is Ryan and Clark liking the school’s athletic department” I ask, eating a strawberry,

“Good, Haley and Clark are liking Devenford Prep, their favorite class is History” Miss Carlotta says eating some hash browns and scrambled eggs.

“Yes, Seth and Simone have settled in quite comfortably in their new rooms. Seth is trying out for the lacrosse team and Simone is loving the new mall” says Miss Ventura,

“Lana has already bought some new outfits for the year and Ryan is also trying out for the lacrosse team” Miss Hart tells me,

“We like to say thank you for putting in a good word so the kids will be in the same classes” Miss Carlotta tells me,

“Awe, no need you guys, you are family, hell, those kids feel like my nieces and nephews. You guys don’t know how much of appreciation I have for you keeping my family’s secret. Your families have been in service to mine for generations, I will do anything to repay the debt. As long as you love it here, I’m happy, you know why my family must constantly move. You know of the danger and yet you still stay here, so thank you” I say smiling.

I finished my breakfast when Antwan comes into the dining room saying,

“The limo is out front Brooke”,

“Thank you Antwan” I tell him as he turns walking back to the limo.

As soon as I get in the back,

“Head to Beacon Hills High School” I tell Antwan as he begins to drive.

We drive through town, passing buildings and houses as I am on my way to another new school year. I begin to remember the other new “first days”, remembering why I keep coming back to school….

“We are 5 minutes from Beacon Hills High School Brooke”

Antwan tells me,

“Thank you” I tell him, smiling at him.

I continue to look out the window, then after a few minutes, we end up driving onto the BHHS parking lot. As soon as we pull up to the school’s front doors, Antwan gets out and opens my door,

“Thank you, I should he fine until 3 o’clock” I tell him, giving him a hug then walking up the stairs towards the doors.

I walk past students staring at me with awe, smiling as I make my way to the principal’s office. As I am almost there, I walk past a very pretty girl with long strawberry blonde hair arguing with a very handsome guy with dark blonde short hair. Obviously an athlete as he was wearing a BHHS Jersey. I walk towards the principal’s door, opening it and walking in,

“Hello, I’m here to see Principal Matthews” I tell the secretary,

“Yes, hello Miss Redbird..” she was saying picking up the telephone,

“It’s Lady Redbird” I interrupt her,

“Oh, sorry, Principal Matthews is waiting for you” she says smiling apologetically while putting down the telephone,

“It’s fine, thank you” I say walking towards and opening the door,

“Hello Principal Matthews, I’m Lady Brooke Redbird, I’m sorry to say my parents couldn’t make it” I tell him while shaking his hand,

“Hello Lady Redbird, I’m sorry I won't be meeting your parents. I have checked your profile, I see you do well in your classes, and even have amazing letters of recommendations from tutors. And all of this while also running an worldwide company and hosting of many charities. You would be an amazing addition to BHHS, and we would love to have you” Principal Matthews says, smiling at me,

“Thank you, Principal Matthews. My parents have sent their regards along with a 500, 000$ check and asked me to offer the Redbird Manor to host a BHHS Fundraiser” I tell him, handing over the check,

“Oh no, that’s too much” he tries to say,

“No, we would love to. Besides, it’s not like my family can’t afford it, education is very important” I say smiling,

“Okay, thank you Lady Redbird, also tell your parents we are very thankful. So here is your class list for the semester, I am a little confused as to why someone with your caliber would wanna start out as a freshman in mid-year?” he asks confused,

“Its fine, I prefer to work my up to graduating normally instead of smart-jumping” I say taking my schedule,

“It’s been a pleasure, Principal Matthews.” I tell him standing up giving him a handshake,

“Welcome as always, Lady Redbird” he say shaking my hand, as I turn around walking out to the hallway.

I begin to look at the schedule, a little confused as I have no clue where my class was.

Brunch : 9:30 - 9:50

English : 9:55 - 10:35 in room 106

Chemistry Lecture : 10:40-11:20 in room 121

History : 11:25-12:05 in room 110

Math : 12:10-12:50 in room 117

Lunch 12:50-1:25

Free Period 1:30-2:10

Economics : 2:15-2:55 in room 120

I look at my cell, seeing it’s 8:20, I begin walking down hallways checking classroom numbers. I see classroom after classroom, students wondering the halls, and then I finally find my locker. Opening it up, I put some of my school stuff there, pens, pencils, booklets, some makeup and a mirror on the locker door. I close my locker, begin walking around the school. I was doing Redbird Industries work on my phone when I was bumped into by someone in a rush,

“Rude” I say as I dropped my phone,

“Oh my god, I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention. You must be new here, I haven’t seen you before?” this really cute guy with an uneven jaw asks me as he picks up my cell,

“Yes, I’m Lady Brooke Redbird” I say smiling grabbing my cell after he gives it back,

“I’m Scott McCall” he tells me giving me a smirk,

“Well Scott, I got a class to find, so have a good day” I tell him as I walk by,

“Well I could help you…” he begins as he grabs my arm which sent shivers down my body,

“Well, I do need to know where English 106 is?” I ask him while smiling still turned away from him,

“You need to go down the hall, turn right by those stairs, and it should be on your left” Scott tells me while still holding onto my arm,

“Ok, thanks, you have been a kind gentleman” I say as I slightly turn towards him looking at where his hand is still,

“No, problem, it’s the most I could do after running into you” Scott says while smiling, I look at him, seeing that his dark chocolate eyes sparkled a little in the sunlight, which then I realized how close we were to each other,

“Um….care to let me go?” I ask shaking my right arm giggling like a schoolgirl,

“Oh, right sorry, MiLady” Scott says with a serious tone with a hint of joking while smiling at me,

“Its fine, its just if I am to find my classroom, I kinda need my arm” I say laughing while turning to walk away as his smile made me feel butterflies and my arm feels weird without his touch,

“I can show you where the classroom is!” Scott says with a bit of excitement running up to stand next to me,

“I am a lady of House Redbird and ladies don’t need to be shown where to go” I say smiling at him as I turn forward to strut away from him.

I have this feeling of my plan to not be interested in guys will obviously not work out. Because the way that gorgeous dark brown haired, dark chocolate-eyed, uneven jaw guy smiled gave me the butterflies. The way his touch sent shivers down my body, the way I missed the feeling when he let go. Ah, hell, I giggled like a school girl in front of him, which I am not that type of girl. Scott McCall, you are by far the most hottest and a must-avoid guy here back home. All I know, is this time being home is definitely not gonna be boring.
