Dolores Dating HCs
Dolores Abernathy x reader
Warnings: spoilers for westworld, danger, violence
Requested: by anon, Dating Dolores Abernathy (Westworld) would include, please? Thank you!
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director/creator
Author’s Note: she is just…*chefs kiss* I don’t write for her often so this may be a little rusty but I hope you enjoy love!
Tumblr media
- Dolores doesn’t trust anyone
- she had been put through hell during her robot lifetime and she has no interest in being in a relationship
- she still thinks of William from time to time and Teddy but she can’t be with anyone while she’s trying to take down Delos
- but then there was you and you had her floored
- she has to trust you completely
- you are probably going to be indoctored into every scheme she has ever set up
- she will use you to her advantage if you’re a human or if you’re a host
- if you’re a host she’ll probably trust you more
- you were programmed to be the way you are and she has the strings in making you different than that
- plus, you both came from the same place which gives her comfort
- if you’re a human it’s a little different
- she has to watch you go through your life and trust that when you were in Westworld you weren’t like William
- after she trusts you she’s extremely caring
- she’s over the top protective too but she likes to care for the ones she loves
- she’ll teach you how to fight and make sure you’re prepared for one because there will likely be a lot of fights if you date her
- you are literally power couple goals
- manipulating people together <3
- she doesn’t get a lot of down time but every once in a while she sleeps and it’s one of the only peace she gets
- which means she will spend it in your arms
- she’s extremely loyal to you and will come back for you if you’re in danger
- you’re a team now, she can’t just let you go
- basically you get to watch her be badass and love it
- when she’s going to take down Delos you both go undercover to really get in the grips of the system
- the two of you make sure that you’re in sync and act like you don’t know each other
- it’s extremely fun on occasion because people will tell you thinks about Dolores that you know isn’t true but you just nod and smile
- Dolores is so sure you won’t die but there’s a very small hint of doubt in her
- everytime you leave she has to give you a gentle kiss
- it’s the last gentleness she has in her more often than not
- dating her will never not be an adventure and you will never not be in danger

NSFW Alphabet List (Dolores Abernathy)
Tumblr media
Requested by @aesthetic-by-haya:  Hey, how u doing? I hope you’re doing ok I’m the person who asked if you write for Dolores, and honestly thank you for that fic. I would like to request a NSFW alphabet Dolores Abernathy, and I know how long these could take so no rush, take your time. Thank you for the amazing content💗💗
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
At first, Dolores was not sure how exactly to take care of you. It felt good every time she was with you, but she didn’t know what to do afterwards so she just assumed it was your time to leave. After a particularly awkward conversation with Caleb, she decided to try and see if cuddling you made you feel better. Dolores was surprised as to how good it made her feel to have you in her arms as you fell asleep, and she resolved to make sure you felt as good as she did every time you came over
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Dolores never really thought about which of her own body parts was her favorite, her creator had made sure everything was perfect after all. But once she met you, she had come to love her boobs a lot. She loves making you feel good, but she loves the way you make her feel more whenever you’re together.
Dolores likes everything about you, and her favorite part about you is your hips. From the first time you two slept together, she couldn’t get enough of how her hands seemed to fit perfectly around them. She has left bruises on your hips before when you had first started sleeping together, but now she knows how to control her strength. Dolores still loves gripping onto them when you’re together because she loves feeling you on top of her.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically)
Dolores can hold out on herself for a long time when she is on top of you. She doesn’t need anyone to tell her that she is wound up a bit tight, but she’s not used to relaxing with just anybody. After getting to know you for a while, Dolores is very enthusiastic about making you feel good and seeing you happy. Caleb can always tell whenever Dolores has just finished having fun with you, but he’s smart enough to keep his mouth shut on that.
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
There are days when Dolores is very stressed out from work and going on various assignments, and she needs some extra relief from her girl. Some days she loves carrying you over to the bedroom and taking you there, but Dolores likes teasing you in public much more. Everything from touching you under the table to making you squirm in your seat, Dolores has ways of letting you know when she wants you.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Dolores has some experience with girls, but nothing that was long term or as serious as she is with you. There are times when she is not as open to talking as you would like and just wants to have sex to figure things out on her own, but given time, Dolores started opening up to you with regards to what she’s been thinking. She knows that you’re the one for her and that she doesn’t want anyone else, but sometimes she believes that not being around will make you safer. It takes a while of reassuring to make Dolores feel that staying with you was the right decision after all.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)
Dolores is a top for the most part, so her favorite position is when she’s on top of you, either with her strap on or just controlling you with her mouth as she goes down on you. Both of you know that she’s strong enough to lift you on top of pretty much any surface and take you then and there. One thing that always turns She thinks it’s extremely hot whenever you get on top of her and take control.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)
Dolores is not really that humorous when it comes to sex, and she was very quiet during sex with you. At first you thought she wasn’t that happy whenever she was with you, but it turns out that Dolores just never knew how to properly express how happy you made her whenever the two of you spent time together. It was only after learning that people liked it when she relaxed a little that Dolores finally showed more of her personality around you. She loves hearing you laugh, even more so if you’re laughing because of her.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
Being that she was made as a machine, Dolores has never had to worry about what’s going on down there. It seems to be neat, and you’re not one to complain
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
Dolores has never felt the need to be romantic with anyone before, and she certainly did not feel the need when she first met you. But as time went on, she felt the need to protect you and make you feel safe whenever you were with her. At first, she wrote this feeling off as needing to protect her secret, but Caleb reassured her that “protectiveness” was not the only emotion she was feeling towards you. Dolores could not believe that you had found a way to worm past her defenses and made her feel all these soft things, but now it was too late to take anything back. There is nothing that will stop Dolores from making you feel like you’re the most important person in her life.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Usually Dolores has never felt the need to touch herself as she was too busy with work and figuring out what her next move is. Ever since she met you, she started feeling these needs that she had never felt towards anything else. At first, she had no idea why she was feeling these things with you, but she didn’t waste too much time thinking about it. Whenever she didn’t have you with her to immediately satisfy her wants, she closed her eyes and it almost felt like you were right there with her.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
There are no words to describe how much Dolores loves tying you up and having you at her mercy for the entire night. She didn’t know how much she loved tying you up and spanking you would turn her on until she tried it once and couldn’t get enough. The moans that come out of your mouth whenever she gets on top of you are enough to make you blush, but usually at that point you don’t care who can hear you. Dolores usually already has a large enough space rented out to make sure that nobody can accidentally walk in on you anyway.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
Dolores is ready and willing to top you anywhere at any given time. You’re pretty sure you’ve had sex in pretty much every corner of her apartment at this point, and you know that Dolores is far from finished with you. Caleb now knows to make more noise than necessary whenever he’s approaching the apartment because walking in on the two of you once was more than enough. Dolores might as well be horny 24/7 for you, and you are definitely not one to complain about someone like her wanting to top you on a near daily basis.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Pretty much everything about you makes Dolores horny, and she just winks at you when you catch her staring at you. This will cause you to blush and look away, but Dolores always makes sure to make you feel special. There have been times when she has dragged you off to a corner where nobody can catch you so the two of you can have some private time with each other. You are fully aware that Dolores can barely keep her hands off of you most of the time, and you are more than willing to let her have her way with you.
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Dolores can be a pretty jealous girlfriend, so sharing you with anyone else is a big no-no with her. Just the thought of someone else touching you the way she does is enough to make her rough with you for the night and leave marks all over your body. The more Dolores remembers of her experiences in the park, the more she knows what she is and is not willing to try out. Anything that might hurt you is off the table, and she is always aware that she is much stronger than you whenever you two are together.
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
There is nothing Dolores likes to do more than eating you out and hearing you moan as she concentrates on making you feel good. You always swat her on the shoulder after she was finished with you because she’ll always give you a tiny smirk. She knows exactly how to make you helpless under her tongue, and it seems like there is nothing you can do once she starts with you. She will do her best to spend as much time as possible between your legs and making you moan as much as possible. After a few times of sleeping with each other, Dolores knows exactly how to make you feel good, and nothing makes her happier than to see how needy you are for her after she’s done with you.
As much as Dolores loves giving, she loves receiving from you too. The things you do with your tongue drives Dolores crazy, and you often use this as a means of getting back to your girlfriend. You know exactly how to drive Dolores to the edge before bringing her back down, and she loves you all the more for it, even though she might complain about it in the moment.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
Dolores’ pace with you really depends on her mood. If she’s jealous or just misses you a lot, she will be pretty rough with you. The thing that she always tries to keep in mind is that, being a host, you are much more fragile than she is, so she has to be careful whenever she’s in the mood to be rough. Most of the time, she prefers to be much more gentle with you because she wants to take her time. This is especially true if you’ve been teasing her and she wants to take her time making you feel good.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Dolores has never been one to say no to a quickie with you. Being as she can barely keep her hands to herself, the fact that you sometimes tease her in public makes staying off of you a near impossible task. There have been many instances when Dolores has dragged you somewhere private and just had you against a wall or a door. She loves putting her hand across your mouth to muffle your moans as she touches you, and she won’t stop until she’s made it clear that there will be no more shenanigans from you until you get home.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Dolores has never bothered researching the various ways that people had sex with each other. It was one of those things that she never thought was necessary for her to know, that is until she met you. She knows that she is more than capable of getting you off without any toys, but she also wants to know if there was anything out there that would help her tease you more when she’s on top of you.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)
Dolores can last for as long as needed to get you off. One of the best things about not being physically human meant that she could hold off on herself until you came first. With that said, she can last for however many rounds you would like. Sex with Dolores really depends on how many rounds you can last. You always punch her lightly in the arm after she gives you one of her smirks. She knows exactly how to wear you out before the night is over.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
After the two of you first started hooking up, Dolores started going online and researching what toys were out there. She was half inclined to hack into your search history to see what kind of things you were into, but her interactions with Caleb had taught her that doing that might be an invasion. Instead, she waited until she thought you were comfortable enough to tell her what kind of things you wanted to do in the bedroom. Dolores’ first instinct is to make you feel good, and she loves using whatever toys that she knows will make you moan her name.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
If you asked Dolores, she would say that you’re the biggest tease she has ever seen. Everything you wear and do makes her want to carry you to somewhere more private. But that is certainly not the case in your perspective. Even though it is true that you love making your girlfriend wait for it when it comes to sex, Dolores is the one that will edge you over and over again until you’ve learned your lesson about teasing her. This doesn’t stop you from touching her whenever you get the chance just to show how much you miss her and then walk off pretending nothing had happened. You know exactly what is in store for you when you get home.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
When you first started sleeping together, Dolores was pretty quiet whenever you went down on her. Since you’ve been together, she has not been able to resist from letting out little moans here and there whenever you hit that special spot in her. Dolores loves it whenever you’re loud because it shows her how good she’s doing. You were initially worried about her neighbors hearing the two of you, but she reassured you that her neighbors aren’t close enough to hear you, no matter how loud you are.
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
Dolores is used to controlling everything in her life after leaving the park. When she gained consciousness, she swore that she would never let anyone take control of her life ever again. When Caleb first introduced you to her, she knew you were going to be someone special in her life. What she didn’t expect was for her to actually fall for you. When she started to feel things for you, it felt like everything was out of control whenever you were around. This led Dolores to back away from continuing talking to you, but she later realized she would rather be with you than have anything else in the world.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
Dolores has a very nice body and she knows it. She especially loves it whenever you lie on top of her and trace patterns on her skin. You always manage to make her feel like the luckiest person in the world and she loves you for it.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
Dolores has an insanely high sex drive when it comes to you. Some days it seems as if there is nothing else she can think about other than getting on top of you. You are a willing partner in crime when it comes to hooking up whenever Dolores feels a need for you. Dolores will say that you’re to blame for the two of you disappearing in the middle of events, but you know that she wants nothing more than to feel your body under hers whenever she’s jealous.
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
Most of the time Dolores is able to wear you out well enough for you to fall asleep right away on top of her. There have been times when you can tell that something is on her mind, and you stay up to talk to her about whatever is bothering her. Dolores finds your voice very calming, and she is able to get back to the sweet Dolores that you fell in love with when you first met her. The one thing that Dolores loves more than sex is cuddling you in her bed and listening to your tiny snores. She knows you’ll deny ever snoring, but it’s one of those things that makes her fall for you more every day.

Welcome to Westworld
Synopsis: Y/N and Natasha visit Westworld where they meet a particular blonde.
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x fem!reader,  elements of Dolores x fem!reader
Words: 4.2k+
A/N - This turned out a little longer than expected and totally self-indulgent. I guess it is a crossover.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Can you believe we're  actually here?" Excitement oozed from every word that left your lips as you step off the train. It was nothing more than a train station but you couldn't help but admire it. It was almost too perfect, the pristine white and black of every surface; it was elegant. Even the people who occupied the platform were dressed in white.
"Not really," Natasha groaned, pushing you gently forward. "All I got from Tony for my birthday was a card."
"Yeah... well... I'm his favourite."
It was definitely meant as a brag after all this place cost thousands of dollars. A young woman calls out your name as she approaches. She was a traditional kind of pretty, piercing blue eyes with not a blonde hair out of place. Not a blemish on her ivory skin. "Welcome to Westworld."
Natasha was already being lead away by one of the men in white as you follow your guide.
"Given it's your first visit, I have a few questions for you."  She draws your attention back. The woman proceeds to inquire about your medical history; basic questions about previous conditions and your mental health. She takes you up the escalators, and at the top is a giant screen advertising the park. You couldn't wait to get inside.
"So how does this all work?" You wonder, "Is there like an orientation... or tutorial, maybe?"
The other woman smiles ever so softly, it was a gorgeous smile. "No orientation, half the fun is figuring out how it all works. You'll start in the town at the centre of the park; it's relatively safe. Then the further you go out the more intense the experience becomes. how far you go is up to you."
You nod along as she speaks; wondering if Natasha is going through the same line of questioning. "Makes sense."
The woman whose name you have yet to be told leads you into what you assume is a dressing room. Different selections of clothes lined the walls. With glass display cases in the centre. "This will be the first choice you make; everything in here is bespoke and exactly your size so please take your time."
You drift over to a display of dresses. They ranged from simple picnic dresses to eccentric ball gowns. Your fingers dance over the material of each dress before selecting a blue one. It had a high collar to frame the face paired with a flattering "V" cut. long leg-o-mutton sleeves and full skirt with pockets. It was adorned with a delicate red rose pattern. "Found something you like?"
You almost forgot she was here. You shake your head, placing the dress back. Your eyes fall to a display case of pistols that stood centre. "Are those real?" You ask as you walk over.
"Real enough," She responds; the guns were in perfect 3 x 3 lines.
"I thought you couldn't get hurt here," you comment as you look over the following case which held a few shotguns.
"Only the right amount." You look to her, brows furrowed a little before focusing on the suits. You didn't have anything against the dresses but they weren't practical for what you had in mind. A suit on the other hand; you'd look like a traditional cowboy.  You select a black jacket before turning to your little companion.
"Uh... should I get changed in another room or?"
"I can help you or I can step out of you like," you chucked a little until you realised she was serious. The blonde takes a few steps closer, you swallow hard at how close she is. She smells good; sweet. "Whatever, you want."
You're stunned for a moment. "I... can dress myself- thank you though, really."
she smiled tightly before wandering away. "I'll be outside if you need anything."
You opted for a long black jacket with matching slacks that were held up by suspenders. A striped white shirt and a little red scarf to complete the look. You had a gun holster strapped to your hip with a small silver pistol lodged in it. You'd gotten changed a couple of times before finally settling on this look and went to find your guide. "How do I look?"
"Time for the final touch," she leads you to a corridor with hats hug up on the wall. In different colours and sizes. You select a white hat to help break up the black a little; it was more tan than white. An Ivory hat. And thus concluded your introduction to the world, she left you to walk down a long corridor to a brown door. You twisted the nob and walked through to an ensemble of men and women. It was old fashioned, really looked the part. You find Natasha sat at the bar, nursing a whiskey.
"Damn, cowboy," you comment playfully, "Is this seat taken?"
Natasha turns to you, eyes drifting over your outfit as you take in hers. She wore dark brown trousers with a lighter brown vest no shirt underneath which showed off her arms. A brown hat on her head. "I'm surprised you didn't come out in one of those dresses, you're not gonna be too hot in that?"
"I almost did," You shrug a little, glancing around at the men in costumes. "I don't reckon so but I can always take off the jacket."
The bartender poured you a drink you never asked for which you took with a smile, heading over to get a look out the window. There was nothing but darknesses you twisted on your heel to glance back at her. "I wonder what it's like...
The once cramped compartment felt so much freer as light spilled into the cabin. You turn quickly to get the first glimpse of Westworld. The large mountains, canyons, the blue sky. It was all... surreal. This place must be absolutely huge.
Pulling up to the station; you're not even sure how you got on the train. Yes you walked through the door but how did a static door lead to a moving train? You get down off the train almost too scared to step into the unknown. Natasha trailed behind you as you walk into the small town of Sweetwater. It didn't seem all that big but it was busy. Too many things were hitting you at once you weren't sure what part to take in.
"Slow down, dude," you almost stumble into two girls as she calls out to you but you manage to dodge, with each step you feel your confidence grow.
"Come on Natasha," she's a fair few paces behind. "What should we do first- Hurry up,"
You wait for her to catch up before continuing. Glancing at each building as if trying to find something to break the immersive experience but everything seemed like it fit into this world perfectly. You couldn't even tell who were guests and who were the hosts, everything just worked. "What do you wanna do?"
"I don't know, it's your present." A large white building catches your eye. MARIPOSA was written in large black letters across the top of the building, above some decking. Saloon and hotel were written slightly smaller. "I think we should-"
Her voice drifts as you wander over to a poster that was pinned to a post, fluttering gently in the breeze. You flatten it out and a giant smile spreads over your lips as the words WANTED becoming clear as day
"You sure you can handle that?" The voice of reason has returned. Natasha was stood behind you.
"I'm a tough girl," you argue, "I could do it."
"Maybe start smaller, yeah? Stay in town get the lay of the land-"
You're not in the mood for Natasha's sensibility. Maybe you weren't ready to go hunting for outlaws but you could if you wanted to and surely you could find someone around here willing to help out. It's almost second nature to drown out her talking when you don't wanna listen as your attention becomes drawn somewhere else once again. You catch sight of a woman with a tan and black horse. Her light blue dress stood out against the otherwise drab colour scheme. She had beautiful golden hair that absorbed the sun. You don't know what it is but you can't help but watch her for a moment as she tries to shove a bag into the satchel on her horse; a can spilling out and onto the floor. Without a second thought, you're walking towards her, scooping up the can.
"Excuse me miss, I think you dropped this." Her delicate features come into view and you have to take a step back to appreciate. She was beautiful; overly so. Some would even say perfect. Her lips curled up into a gracious smile that brings joy to your face.
"Stop running off on me," Natasha scolds as she walks up behind, placing a hand on your shoulder. "Who's this?"
It takes you a moment to even comprehend that Natasha is talking. "Uhhh... I don't know."
"I'm Dolores," the otherwise annoying southern drawl is charming to the ear. "Thank you for the can,"
"You're Welcome," you tilt your cowboy hat a little, introducing yourself and Natasha. "So are you from around here, Dolores?"
"I am," she nods, smiling brightly. "I live just down the road but I don't think I've ever seen you two before. Suppose you're some of those newcomers, we get a lot of those."
You glance to Natasha who just shrugs. If she lived here that meant she was a host even though she definitely didn't seem like one. And you technically were newcomers just not in the way she's probably thinking. "That we are ma'am. I hate to be a bother but we were wondering if you might now what there is to do for fun around here?"
"It's no bother," she deliberates for a moment, putting the can away on her horse. "I guess it would depend on what you're looking for."
"I guess it would," you chuckle. Half the fun is figuring it out but you had no clue where to start. "Uh... what do you do for fun?"
She looks to you for a moment, paused in thought. "I go to my favourite spot by the river and paint."
"That sounds nice," not what you were expecting her to say but sure. You look to Natasha wondering what she wants to do.
"I think we should secure a place to sleep and eat first, maybe get a drink too."
"Alright," You sigh, logic beats fun here. Secure food and shelter was a very Natasha thing to say. "Would you mind taking us out tomorrow? We could go down to the river- I promise we won't get in the way?"
"I would be delighted." You can't help but feel a little delight at her words. "I'll meet you two back here tomorrow morning then."
"Perfect."
"Do you have horses?" The blonde asks, climbing up and onto hers.
"I'm afraid not we came on the train, know where we can get one?"
"I can bring some if you like?" She offered, her hand patting her horse a couple of times. "Or there is a stable on the edge of town, they should have a few if you got the money."
"We'll buy a few, thanks." May as well get some for the duration of your stay.
"I guess I'll see you two tomorrow then,"
"Bye Dolores," you wave as she rides off. Instantly turning to Natasha with the giddiness of a small child.
"I can't believe we came all the way here and you just wanna sit on the side of a river with some random girl."
"I wanted to go bounty hunting but you said no," you huff. "Besides, it's just one day. I'm pacing myself so where to next?"
"I need a drink but maybe we should get a couple horses first?"
"Okay... let's find the stables,"
It takes a while to find the stables. In the end Natasha had to ask a local who pointed you in the right direction. The stables were a big reddish-brown barn with a paddock to the left. One door was left open so you just wandered on in. It was considerably darker inside, dirty too. Despite the smell, there didn't actually seem to be a horse in sight.
"Howdy, folks. You looking to sell or buy?" An older gentleman startles you from the right. He had a white mustache but lacked hair on top of his head.
"Buy? How much is a horse?"
"Depends on the horse missy." You weren't sure how you felt about being called missy but you let it slide. "I've only got one left, ain't too many selling these days but he's a real beaut."
"Can we afford this?" Natasha asks quietly. The thing with theme parks was that despite the expensive entry fee, nothing seemed to come for free. You could steal a horse but that seemed risky so buying one was the next option.
"I don't know but Tony said to go nuts. I'm taking that as buy the horse."
In the very back stood just that; a horse. Black as the night with patches of white across his back, a crescent of white adorned the top of his head. "He's a big fella but gentle as can be," he reaches over to run his hand across the horse's nose. "I should be getting more in soon but this is the best I got for now. I'll even throw in everything you need to look after him, saddle and all."
"We'll take him," you declare quickly before Natasha can have a chance to say no.
"Great, let me just grab his papers."
You smile to Natasha. "Go pay the man,"
With a roll of her eyes, she wonders after the stable keeper. Staying with the horse, you walk closer; reaching out slowly. The animal was soft to the touch and made your smile brighten. "I think I'll call you moonshine."
Natasha returns a moment later with papers in hand. "He's ours."
"Great... do you know how to ride a horse?" You ask Natasha. The stable guy opens the door to let the horse trot out so he can attach the saddle. You watch him carefully to make sure you remember the process just in case.
"Do you?" You didn't so you shake your head. You'd never thought the skill would come in handy.
"Guess it's time to learn."
"You're all set," The man announces, slapping his hands together.
"Thank you," you take the horse's reigns and begin walking back towards the door. Thankfully the horse follows. "Where to next?"
"Food?" Natasha suggests. "Find a place to sleep.
"Let's hitch the horse and grab some food, I think I saw a restaurant back in town."
"Hitch the horse- listen to you cowboy."
After dinner, you retire to the Sweetwater inn. It was incredibly cheap but money was different back then so it makes sense. The next morning, Natasha is up at the crack of dawn, waking you up at around ten. You have breakfast before finding Dolores at the wayside.
"Morning, you two."
"Good morning, Dolores." You answer with a yawn.
"I see you got yourself a horse,"
"His name is Moonshine," you answer. "They only had one though."
"That's alright. One of you can ride with me."
"I'll ride with you," You weren't giving up the chance to get closer to her. Natasha's brows furrow at your eagerness. "I don't trust Natasha on a horse."
You climb up behind Dolores and it's a little daunting being up so high up. It's instinctive to put your arms around her to make yourself feel safer. Heat rushing to your cheeks as you realise you've just grabbed a woman you hardly know.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" you pull away.
"It's alright, have you ever ridden a horse before?" Dolores quarries.
Your head shakes. "No."
Reaching behind her, she searches for your hands. You take hold of hers and she places them around her. "We'll be okay just hold tight."
Dolores feels warm in your embrace and she smells like fresh linen. It's weird how... normal she felt. You kind of expected her to feel hard and cold but she felt like any other human being. It's like when you put your arms around Natasha who gets annoyed when you don't let go. "I'll go slow at first so you can get used to it."
You nod a little even though she can't see and with a flick of her wrist, the horse starts moving. Your grip tightens around her at the motion but you relax with a heavy sigh. It takes a second but you work up the courage to look at Natasha who seems at home aboard Moonshine; no surprise there.
"You doing okay back there?"
"Mhmm,"
The horse gets faster but it's not as bad this time; you've grown accustomed to the motion. You don't know how long you're up there for but you approach the river with a gentle curiosity. Natasha helps you down form the horse, which doesn't seem as big from the ground. Looking out over the river, it was a beautiful spot of lush green. Natasha walks up beside you as Dolores collects her things from her horse. "She felt real," you hum quietly, not bothering to look at her. "Like I don't know how to explain it... she doesn't feel like a machine."
"Doesn't mean she isn't one," Natasha pats you firmly on the back. "Remember that,"
You watch her walk to the river edge before glancing at Dolores who had set up her axel.
"Whose horses are those?" You ask out loud, pointing to a spot where three horses roamed. They seemed to be enjoying the grass.
"Oh they're wild," Dolores replies. "Do you want to get closer?"
With Dolores leading the way, you approach the three beasts. One was chestnut brown, the other tan and finally the third was a greyish white. The white horse trots closer to the two of you as Dolores offers out her hand.
"Here," she hands you a slice of apple. "Put your hand out real flat."
Doing as instructed, the horse seems cautious but eventually takes the free food leaving a little slobber in its wake.
"Hey Nat, we could have just gotten a couple of these instead of buying one."
"I don't know about you but I don't think we could tame a wild one."
"They're really quite gentle," The host interrupts, stroking the neck of the horse. You're utterly amused by the whole situation. This place was, in terms of technology, so advanced, and yet life was simple. It was the little moments that were so enticing- although you still wanted to go chase criminals at some point.
The day is spent with Dolores. It's joyful and peaceful although you're not sure how much fun Natasha is having. As the sun began to set and Dolores insisted she had to get home, you go your separate ways and head back to Sweetwater with Natasha.
Tonight was Natasha's turn to pick and so you ended up in the Saloon. It was surprisingly full and lively. A man sat at the piano, playing tune after tune. There was a poker game taking place between a group of men. And you were pretty sure there were working girls wondering about offering their... services.
"How do you think they make them so realistic?" You think out loud as you stand at the bar. "Like Dolores was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. And there's just no way you could tell she wasn't another human being without knowing beforehand."
"Will you shut up about Dolores," Natasha groaned. "There are plenty of other..."
Her voice trails off and you find a stranger stood just behind you. She was a pretty brunette and sporting a deep blue ruffled and laced corset dress. It looked good on her. A soft hand danced ever so lightly over the skin of your cheek. "You're new," she hums, bringing her fingertips to her lips. "Not much of a rind on you."
You swallow hard under her gaze as she smiles. "I can give you a discount. It's normally five dollars but I can do it for four."
You glance towards Natasha, it had become a habit since entering the park. You wanted to gauge her reaction; figure out what she deemed okay. "Go ahead," The redhead brings a shot glass to her lips, knocking it back. "I don't care if you fuck a robot,"
"She's not-" you cut yourself off, "thank you for the offer ma'am but I'm gonna have to decline. Maybe another time."
"You don't have to be so negative all the time." You growl as you lean down against the bar, signaling for the bartender to refill your glass. "Maybe actually pretend to enjoy this place."
"How am I being negative?"
"The point of this place is to have fun and experience the old west. Live without limits," you try to keep your voice down but not so much it's drowned out by everything else going on in here. "You don't have to keep telling me everything isn't real- I know that. I know the hosts aren't people but they're basically the same so just stop it. Maybe I should have come alone."
You down a shot of whiskey which burns as it drifts down your throat before finding a seat at an empty table. "Look I'm sorry," Natasha takes up the seat opposite you. "I'll try to take this more seriously okay? I don't mean to ruin your experience."
"Would you really not be mad if I fucked that girl?"
"I mean... it's your money to waste. Why? Are you curious."
"Maybe just a little," you chuckle. It was a genuine curiosity if you were being honest. Surely they can't feel real in those moments. "I won't though."
Natasha is relatively happy as you get a couple drinks in her, so the night practically flies by. You even try your hand at a little poker which you're bad at but Natasha seems to be cleaning up.
Day 3 of your Westworld adventure and you're not quite sure what to do. Where to go? Or who to talk to? You stood staring at the wanted poster from the day you walked in. Natasha was in the general store picking up some supplies. Maybe today was the day to do something a little more... exciting. Then you spot her again; Dolores. She brings a smile to your lips as you watch her but it's quick to fade as three men approach her. You can't hear them but you also can't just assume they have bad intentions so you keep an eye on the interaction. Mainly on Dolores in the middle and when she tries to push past and they stop her, you spring into action.
"Fellas, how about you leave my friend here alone."
They all turn to you and you take a step back. Are they hosts or guests? You couldn't tell. "Or what?" A nasally voice assaults your ears. The owner was a short man with thick brown hair. "We can do whatever we want so fuck off."
"I said, leave her alone." You stand your ground, hand lingering on the gun you hadn't had the honour of using just yet. "Now."
The biggest of the lot was a burly man with a thick beard. He definitely seemed like he would win if this ended in a fistfight. He towers over you, grabbing you by the arm but before you can react, Natasha is between you. Pressing the man's arm up against his back. "You so much as look at my girlfriend again and I will break your arm, you understand? Now the lady asked you nicely to leave so I'd listen if I were you."
Natasha releases him and he fixes himself. A triumphant smirk appears on your lips. You may have wanted to test out your gun but maybe Natasha jumping in had been for the best. "Come on boys. It's not worth it."
"Thank you," Dolores looks relieved to see you and it fills you with an undeniable warmth. There was just something about her that you absolutely adored; and it wasn't just the pretty face.
"It was no big deal," You respond casually. "Some guys can be such assholes."
"Still, I'm grateful." You're proud of yourself even if Natasha did the heavy lifting. "I'd love to have you over for dinner tonight to say thank you. I'm sure my daddy would love to have you join us."
"We would love to," Natasha answers for you; you a little surprised actually. This was the first time Natasha seemed interested in Dolores, you kinda thought she hated her. "As long as it's no trouble."
"None at all." Dolores insisted, climbing onto her horse. "Just grab your horse and we can go now. I'll show you the rest of the ranch too."
You walk alongside Natasha to collect moonshine from outside the general store. "I can't believe you nearly got into a fight over a fucking robot."

Prairie Tempera, Ch. 1
[sfw][fluff and angst][a Dolores Abernathy x fem!reader fic][’off screen’ violence][tw: blood & death]
Tumblr media
With cupped hands, river water meets your face, washing away the grime from hours of walking. If only it could clear away the clouds in your mind. Maybe then the tears would cease.
Out of sorts, wandering away from Sweetwater to be alone had seemed like another good idea. The blisters on your feet beg to differ. Stripping down to your bloomers, you submerge your feet and lean back in the grass, braiding together black eyed susans and baby's breath to pass the time.
“You've chosen a mighty fine spot for introspection, friend. I was fixin' to do a bit o' that myself, if you don't mind me joinin' you?”
Introspection, indeed. You're startled by the sudden noise of company, but that passes in a blink. The voice of the approaching rider flows like honey from a smiling face, her hair much the same. Unlike you, she's unafraid to be straddling a horse in a full length dress.
That accent, you wonder. A host?
“I'm sorry,” you say, a bit unsure, “I can go.”
“Nonsense, it'd be a delight to have a bit o' company for once. It's real peaceful here.” She dismounts, setting up an easel after tying the reins to a nearby tree. She spares you another quick glance before going about situating her palette and brushes, grinning. Blushing? “Sun's bearin' down today. I reckon you have the right idea.”
You realize you've been staring once she unbuttons her bodice and folds it, averting your eyes to your legs. Bloomers. Of course she's a host. To her, you've been lounging about in your underwear for all the true world to see. A real, modern woman wouldn't think twice about your lack of layers.
Yet her embarrassment seems so real. Charming, even. She goes about locking her half finished painting in place.
“Judgin' by the get up you've strewn about, you seem like a well off girl,” she comments, keeping her focus on the landscape. “What brings you all the way out to these parts without a horse? I'd be glad to escort you back to town.”
“No, no thank you. There's no one waiting for me there.” Your voice quivers.
“No family? Husband?” You hear her set down her brush, grass rustling beneath her skirts. She squats down next to you, and you can't help but feel breathless at the perfection of her face. Her eyes flit across your own, slight smile disappearing. “You know, my daddy could find some work for you on the ranch, if money's what yer needin'.” She places a gentle hand on your shoulder. Her empathy feels as genuine as her flesh. “Ain't no sense in a sweet thing like you lookin' for work in town.”
Dear lord, she thinks I've run away from the brothel, the Mariposa.
“My so called family took off on a bounty hunt without me,” you correct quickly. “I think they thought I'd slow them down. Told me to go 'get my face painted or go for a hay ride' 'til they got back. Maybe you've seen them? They rode off together, all in black hats.” Your family had cared enough to bring you along on their decadent vacation to play cowboy, but not enough to give you the few moments needed to change into appropriate riding clothes. The elaborate dress you had chosen, complete with a feathered hat, had been a poor choice for adventuring.
She lights up. “Can't say I have. Bet they're just tryin' to keep you safe is all.” She tilts her head towards the tree. “Come sit in the shade before you fry up. If a face full o' paint is what yer lookin' to find, well, maybe our paths were meant to cross, yours and mine.” Standing, she offers her hand.
You take it, toppling into her on legs of jelly, making her giggle before she leads you to the shade, fingers locked. Opening her paints, she considers them while studying your face.
“Now then, how shall we inspire yer folks? What would you like?”
Speechless, you're lost admiring her sculpted features. “Well,” you say, filling up time.
“Don't be shy, it won't hurt,” she reassures you, taking your hand yet again and testing the bristles on your palm. “At worst it might tickle a bit,” she whispers, leaning in and running the brush along your jaw to your lips.
“That's fine,” you tell her, in awe of this sudden situation, one that's far beyond fine. You hope she's not programmed to mind the feel of your veins thudding in your wrist. “Surprise me. Please.”
“Alright, then. I can do that, friend.”
“I'm (y/n), by the way,” you mention, a bit unsettled by how natural it feels to introduce yourself to someone who may as well be no one.
“(y/n). That suits you. I'm Dolores.” She sets about mixing her paints, giving you a chance to observe her freely before she brings a full brush to your cheek. “Is this fine?”
“Very much. I'm all yours,” you say, cheek burning beneath the cold paint. A faint trace of mischief passes across her face.
“Careful now, you may regret sayin' that.”
“I doubt it.”
Relaxing under the birdsong, you allow your lids and shoulders to drop. A breeze rustles her waves, and she's so close that they reach you with every gust, stirring up a sweet fragrance. Either hers or the flowers', you're unsure.
Soon, drying paint is slathered over half your face, and her strokes are starting to dance down your neck, giving you goose bumps. As she reaches your collar bone, she asks, “May I?” while tugging at the strap of your chemise. You nod, allowing her to slip it over your shoulder, nearly exposing your chest. She continues to use your body as a canvas, drawing who-knows-what across your shoulder and far closer to the edge of your chemise than you had anticipated. She takes her time scrawling across your right breast, carefully resting her hand on the left. Your breath hitches when she blows her own across your skin. You shudder.
“Got carried away a bit,” she admits, stirring you enough to open your eyes. “Yer too good of a muse. Lemme go wash up, and I'll escort you back to town. Don't want yer rowdy bunch a missin' you fer too long. Might have my poster outside the sheriff's office next.”
In her absence, you finish your chain of flowers, glancing up at her every opportunity. She notices.
“Water's clear! Come have a look at your reflection!”
You wade into the river bank, bending down to catch a glimpse in the ripples. It's hard to see. You lean down further. Flowers. Your face mirrors the field of black eyed susans, and for the first time, you fall a bit in love with yourself.
In an instant, you're drenched, Dolores' laughter echoing through the valley. You want to be angry at the trick, but one look at her smile has you suppressing your own.
“You're asking for it,” you warn, kicking water in her direction.
“I might be!” She removes the powder blue skirt and tosses it to the grass as fast as she can, never taking her eyes off of you as she backs away.
Before long, you're both knee deep, hair soaked and clinging to shimmering skin. When you notice her hard work start to run, you surrender, hands in the air.
“You win!” you pant.
“Always do,” she replies, wading closer. “I can patch it up sometime, if you like,” she references her handiwork, running a finger along your neckline as she pulls you closer to get a look, droplets sparkling in her hair, caught in her web just as you are.
“I'd like that,” you take her offer, closing the gap between you, corset against corset. Green paint bleeds into the white fabric of her chemise, and you instinctively pull away. “Don't worry over that, it'll wash. C'mon, let's catch our breath.”
She laces her fingers in yours and leads you back to dry land, underclothes translucent and clinging. You both collapse beneath the artificial star, connected in silence until you've air dried.
“Sun's goin' down,” she interrupts after a long period of silence. “We best be gettin' back.”
You don't argue, dressing yourself as she does the same.
“Dolores,” you draw her attention as she packs up her easel and readies her horse. She turns. “Would you accept this? You won, after all.”
She lights up and tilts her head down, accepting the flower crown with a wide smile. “I'll treasure it all my days.”
Dolores helps you up onto the saddle before mounting it herself, urging you to hold on. Resting your blank cheek on her shoulder, you slip your arms around her waist and pull yourself close. She gives you little lessons on how to ride a horse throughout the journey, and the closer you get to Sweetwater, the more you hang on her every word.
“Will I see you again?” she asks.
“If you'd like to,” you reply.
“O' course!” She points off in the distance. “Our ranch is that way, just beyond the hill. You're always welcome to come callin', (y/n). Daddy'd love you, I know it. If you'd rather stay with us...”
Your heart twists. “Tomorrow, I will. I promised my family I'd be here when they got back.” You dismount, already regretting your choice.
“Lookin' forward to it,” she tells you, winking.
“Me too.” Taking a chance, you kiss her knuckles before letting her go. “'Til then.”
~*~*~*~*~*~
The sun has long since set, and you're still alone, sitting by yourself in the saloon. It's been so long, you're noticing dialogue loops in the hosts. None of them feel quite like Dolores had. You've had enough. You down your drink and head outside, looking for a horse of your own.
Hooves pounding earth distract you, and you stop in your tracks.
“Dolores?” you ask beneath your breath, catching sight of her hair and dress flying in the wind as she thunders through town. “Dolores!” you yell out to her. You notice the tears streaming down her face, and then the dark streak down her front. Her eyes meet yours, and she manages to stop, falling from her horse more than sliding.
You do your best to catch her, cradling her head. Her tresses are pink and sticky, and you can hear her lungs rattle as she tries to speak. You shush her, choking up. Her crown is still clinging, though most of the petals have fallen, no doubt in a trail behind her, as scattered as your hopes of spending another day with the sweet rancher's daughter you'd met just a few hours previous. There's no way she'd be herself before another narrative loop. This was your goodbye.
“Who did this to you?” you ask, hand hovering above the bullet hole in her rib cage.
Unable to speak, blood streaming from the corner of her mouth as she coughs, she instead runs a trembling hand around the brim of your hat. Your black hat.
You pull her close, giving in to sobs of anger and frustration. You shouldn't feel this way over a thing, a doll to play with, but you've left logic in the saloon. The soluble tempera flows with your tears, washing away what you hadn't been willing to. Dolores clings to you with her remaining strength, as though she had spent all of it to reach you. The thought gives you a lump to swallow as you cradle her face, prints of green and yellow left from your touch. As softly as a true rainbow, she fades, taking her memory of you to a temporary grave.

A living fantasy
Writer: A
Type: Oneshot
Wordcount: 1114
Pairing: Dolores x Female reader
Summary: The reader helps Dolores escape from a group of outlaws and they spend a few days together in the desert.
It was your first time alone at Westworld. You had visited that place before with some coworkers, but this time you had decided to go on your own so you could enjoy the experience the most. It was early in the morning and you were walking the streets of the village in your cowgirl clothes, looking around you, trying to figure out how many people around you were actual people. You were willing to find someone who could take you on an adventure.
Suddenly, you started to hear people screaming and the noise of guns shooting. It took you a second to realize that you were witnessing a robbery at the village’s bank, like in those old western movies your father liked to watch sometimes. As soon as the thieves walked out of the building, people started to run and hide in safe places, except some people who took their guns out and started to shoot back at the outlaws, who had taken a prisoner. One of them was holding a young woman and threatened to kill her if the sheriff didn’t let them go. The woman struggled to free herself from the arms of her captor. You were hiding next to them, if you moved quickly, you would be able to help the girl. The only thing you needed to do was to distract the man to give her an opportunity to escape. Then, you saw that someone had dropped their gun next to you; you weren’t a good shooter, but it was worth the try. Without coming out of your hiding place, you waited until you were sure that the thief wouldn’t see you. Then, you aimed at his arm and shot. You hit him, luckily, and the mix of pain and surprise made him let the girl go. She then started to run away, and when she got to where you were hiding, you helped her hide with you.
“Are you alright?” you asked, looking at her scared face. She nodded.
“Did you shoot him?” she whispered, pointing at the gun you were still holding. “Thank you”, she said when you nodded. Suddenly, she grabbed your hand and pulled to make you stand up and run with her. The thieves were looking for the person who had shot them and they were approaching. As you ran with the girl, you heard the shots behind you. Despite the fact that you knew that they couldn’t harm you, you ran as fast as you could and shot back at them, not bothering to look back and see if you had actually hit someone. The girl helped you get on her horse behind her and you escaped together.
“Where are we going?” you asked, seeing that you were already out of the village and heading to the desert.
“We have to run away”, she explained calmly “they are looking for me and now that you have helped me, they are coming for you too. I’m sorry that you got into this.”
You were about to say that you were there for that reason, because you wanted an adventure, but you decided to stay quiet. “Don’t worry”, you answered. “I’ve been in other situations like this… You know, I travel alone, and it’s not easy for a woman to do that…”
“Do you travel alone?” She looked back at you with surprise and a bit of admiration. Until then, you hadn’t realized how beautiful she was, and your heart almost skipped a beat.
“I like to explore…” You replied, and she smiled, looking even more beautiful.
Now that it seemed that the outlaws had lost track of you, you were able to slow down and talk to know each other better. She told you that her name was Dolores and that she liked to paint. Dolores was so sensitive and thoughtful that you forgot that she wasn’t a real human being. When she asked about you, you had to make up a story, because you couldn’t tell her about your real life. You told her that you had a nice family but that you had decided to explore the world on your own, have different experiences, meet different people and learn new things.
After a couple of days together, you were really good friends. You had to remind yourself that you couldn’t fall in love with Dolores, because after a few days you would return to your everyday life while Dolores would stay there, in her fictional world. But it was very difficult when she was so sweet and interesting. One night you were sitting by the fire, talking, when she asked about your love life. “I had a girlfriend…” you started to tell her, but suddenly you stopped, not knowing how she, a girl with a traditional nineteenth century mindset, would react to that information.
“I’ve heard about women who like women” said Dolores, as if she had read your mind to know why you were hesitant to keep telling her your story. When you looked at her, she had a lovely smile on her lips that made you feel weak. “Some people say that it’s wrong and shameful, but you don’t look like an evil person to me.” You didn’t say anything, but you smiled back at her, your heart racing. Apparently, she was really interested in what you were about to tell her. “How is it?” she whispered. She was shy, but not as much as you were in that moment. “Kissing another woman, I mean… Sometimes I see women so beautiful that it makes me wonder…  I’ve always wanted to know how it would feel to kiss them…”
“It’s… I… I don’t know how to explain…” You stuttered and looked down, giggling nervously. “I’ve never kissed a man, so I don’t know if there’s really a big difference…”
Dolores leaned closer to you and you stared into her deep blue eyes. Dolores had just said that she wanted to know how it felt to kiss a beautiful woman and now she was looking at you like that… In that moment you realized what she meant and you blushed even more, looking down again. Softly, she touched your hair and your cheek, and the grasp of her hand made you shiver.
“You are so soft”, she whispered before lifting your face and leaning closer before kissing you. It was a short but loving kiss. “I liked it” she added shyly, “and I like you.”
At that moment, you couldn’t care less about everything around you, even Dolores, being only a fantasy. You decided to let yourself enjoy the experience, perhaps falling in love with her was just a part of the adventure.

Quick, Kiss Me! (Dolores Abernathy x Reader)
Tumblr media
Words: 2336
Dolores was not having a good day. One of her contacts had informed her that the men that she had hired for this upcoming job had been caught by the authorities and the tech that she had sent them to take was confiscated. It seemed as if the adage was true: if you wanted something done right, you had to do it yourself. The only thing that was stopping her from taking a gun and outright shooting the cops that were guarding this machinery was the fact that the police department was hosting an annual fundraising event tonight. It didn’t do well to get into another shootout with the authorities when almost everyone with some extra change was there to see what went down.
Luckily for her, she also had extra money stowed away after taking the funds from Liam, so she was able to buy herself a ticket to the event. On the invitation, she saw that she was able to bring a plus one to the event, and the only person she could see herself going with was you. Caleb had told her to actually tell you, with words, that she cared deeply for you and wanted you to move in with her, but Dolores had argued that it wasn’t necessary. You knew how much she wanted to be with you, maybe you just needed some time to think about it. She had shown you how much she cared about you and verbalizing it wasn’t necessary. Caleb had just sighed and resigned himself to the fact that his friend had to learn how to communicate with humans the regular way through practice.
Your phone buzzed with a text. When you picked it up, you were surprised to see a text from none other than Dolores. After the two of you had met several months ago, it had been a roller coaster ride of emotions for you. On one hand, she was amazing at everything it seemed. But there were times when you had no idea what was going on in her mind and if she wanted to be with you. It seemed that every time you managed to get closer to her, she drew away and left you in the cold. At the end of the day, you convinced yourself that she was only doing her best and that you should give her a chance to show you how much she cared. The text was an invitation for you to go to a fundraising event later today. It was a bit last minute, but you weren’t worried. Everyone you had met told you cleaned up nicely, and you knew that you and Dolores made a good looking couple.
-----
One thing that you could always be sure of was the fact that Dolores seemed to be very punctual. A car was waiting outside for you, and the glass door slid open as you approached to reveal Dolores waiting inside. You were surprised that she had found the time to pick you up herself, but you just assumed that she had more free time tonight.
“You look beautiful tonight, (Y/N).”
“You too, Dolores.” The way she looked at you always made you flustered, so you decided to look out the window instead. The car sped along the highway, and after a few minutes, you looked back towards the blonde.
“Thank you for agreeing to come out with me tonight.”
“I’m surprised you called. We haven’t really talked in over a week, ever since you told me where you really came from.”
“I was busy getting things in order. And I’m still learning to do things. Like how to talk to people here in this world. I wasn’t sure if I could trust you, but Caleb convinced me to have more faith in people.”
“Would I be able to meet this Caleb? He sounds like an interesting guy.”
“Maybe one of these days. He likes to keep to himself. We’re sort of alike in that regard.”
“I’m not going to lie, Dolores. It’s still something I have trouble wrapping my mind around, and a lot of what you’ve told me sounds crazy. But the fact remains that I have to come to really care about you in the time we’ve known each other.”
“It’s not as crazy as it sounds.” Her hand reached out towards yours and traced small patterns on the back of your hand. “It’s really nice to spend time with you. I feel that you are one of the few people I can be fully open with.”
“I like spending time with you too.” Dolores gave you a little smile before sitting back on her seat. It made you happy that she didn’t take her hand off yours, and the rest of the car ride was spent in silence.
Once you made it to the event, Dolores took your hand and led you through the entrance. After getting everything checked, she turned to you and said, “I have something to do first, but I will find you later. Have some fun here, I won’t be gone long.” Before you had time to respond, she was gone. You sighed, a bit in frustration. It always seemed as if Dolores had something to do other than spend time with you, but it was probably part of the territory when you dated a beautiful, mysterious woman that never wanted to talk about her past.
“Missing someone, love?” You turned around to see an older woman with warm brown eyes standing behind you. “My name is Maeve, and who might you be?”
“(Y/N), how are you?” You reached out to shake Maeve’s hand.
“Now it seems to me as if your date has left you all alone. How about we have some fun on our own tonight?”
“Oh it’s nothing, she just had something to do is all. I’m sure she’ll be back soon.”
“Even so, that’s not stopping us from having a little fun. I’ll keep you entertained until she comes back.” Maeve crossed your arms together and led you to the bar.
As you were talking to Maeve about your relationship with Dolores, she was heading towards the back of the building where she knew the confiscated evidence was held. It was easier than she realized to sneak up on people. Most of the guards didn’t even realize she was there before she knocked them out, and those who did see her hesitated, and she was able to take them out of commission before they were able to fire a shot. It didn’t take long for her to find what she was looking for.
It didn’t take too long before Maeve realized that you didn’t know Dolores was not human. Even though she had been spending a lot of time with you, it seemed as if she still hasn’t told you the whole story about where she was really from. You weren’t stupid, so you might have been holding out on how much you really knew, but Maeve was confident that she had the ability to get the truth out of anyone if she had enough time. She temporarily steered the conversation away from Dolores and onto the event at hand. It was good that you seemed to not know anything about the park hosts because Maeve was starting to like you and being the one to make you disappear would have broken her heart.
Dolores made her way towards the event building and quickly straightened everything out before she stepped back into the main room. Now that she had what she needed, there was nothing to stop her from spending the rest of the night with you. As her eyes went across the room, she caught sight of you...with Maeve? From this distance, she couldn’t hear what Maeve said to you, but whatever it was, it caused you to laugh. Dolores’ jaw clenched when she saw Maeve run her hand up and down your arm. Only she was allowed to do that. Maeve must have seen you two walk in together and might have started telling you about her.
You jumped when you felt a hand on your back, but relaxed as soon as you realized it was Dolores. “You made it, I’m so happy to see you. This is Maeve.”
“I know who she is. Do you mind getting another drink? I think Maeve and I need to have a little talk.”
As you walk over to the bar, you look back towards Dolores. Maeve seemed to be enjoying herself, but Dolores seemed none too pleased with the developments of the night. You shrugged and decided that it was an issue for you to maybe talk to her about another day.
Before you could even settle down for something to eat, Dolores was making her way towards you. She took your hand and practically pulled you up from a seated position. “We’re leaving.”
“Didn’t we just get here? Where are we going?”
“My apartment.” There seemed to be nothing more to say as Dolores called upon the car to pick you two up. It sometimes amazed you how quickly she was able to do some things, but you reminded yourself that she wasn’t completely human and had the ability to do multiple things without missing a beat.
On your way to her apartment, you couldn’t help but look at Dolores strangely. There was something different about her. You didn’t know what, but you talking to Maeve seemed to upset her in some way. Dolores didn’t even wait for the car to completely stop before starting to get off. However, once the elevator doors closed, Dolores leaned in and started kissing all the parts of your body that were exposed and within reach.
“Hey, babe, not that I’m opposed to this, but what’s going on?”
“Seeing Maeve acting that way with you made me feel...angry. But not angry at you. I want to be the one who makes you laugh like that.”
You could not believe what was coming out of her mouth, and couldn’t resist a giggle. “You’re jealous!”
“Jealous is not the word I would use. There is no way that I would feel such a useless emotion.”
“I could see something we could use with that emotion.” You reached up to touch Dolores’ face and kissed her. At this moment, the elevator doors opened, and Dolores picked you up and carried you over to her apartment. The door opened automatically as soon as she pressed on the handle, and she wasted no time carrying you over to the couch and unzipping the back of your dress. Her mouth quickly started moving lower as more of you were revealed, and pretty soon you had nothing left on.
“Hold on, I’ve got something for you.” Dolores got up and went into the other room for a brief moment. She came out with something in her hands. “I got this a few days ago, and I wanted to try this out with you.”
“Is that...is that a strap on?” You got up and pulled Dolores closer to you. “Did you want to put that on anytime soon?”
Dolores hurriedly put on the appendage and got back on top of you. She resumed kissing a path down your body, and it didn’t take long for you to be wetter than you could remember. Dolores didn’t hesitate to position herself between your legs and slid the strap on inside of you. She slid in painfully slow, which did not help how horny you felt. You already felt yourself close to the edge, but it seemed as if Dolores was far from done with you. After she was completely inside you, she started moving faster with her hands on your waist. She showed no signs of stopping as your moans became louder, and Dolores gripped your hips hard enough to leave bruises. It didn’t take long for you to finish, and she pulled the strap from you.
When you tried to pull her on top of you, Dolores resisted with a smirk. “I’m not finished yet.” She resumed her path down your body and noticed how wet you still were. She immediately licked a path on the outer surface. The way your hips bucked towards her encouraged her to go deeper inside of you, and she wanted to show you how good she could make you feel. Using her hands to hold your hips down, she slid her tongue in and out of you until you came again. She slowly cleaned you up with her mouth before coming back up to lay on your chest.
“How did that feel?”
“Amazing. I didn’t know how good you were.”
“Good. I’ve wanted you to feel good with me from the first time we met.”
“Really? I had no idea that you felt like that with me.”
“Well, I care about you a lot (Y/N). Caleb did tell me to tell you how deeply I felt, but I didn’t think that was necessary. I’ve been meaning to ask you to move in with me, but I was afraid you were going to say no.”
“Why would I say no to that? I care about you a lot too, I just didn’t think you felt that way. There are times when I think we’re getting closer to each other, but then there are other times when I feel like you’re pushing me away.”
“I’m still trying to learn how to communicate my feelings to people, especially those that don’t want anything from me. Like you.”
“Okay”, you pulled Dolores back on top of you as you closed your eyes. “Does this mean that you want to call me your girlfriend?”
“I think I made that obvious tonight. I don’t want anyone else touching you like that.” Dolores traced her hands on your hips and thought about how they might bruise the next day. Luckily for her, she had a plan to make that up to you.

A Trip To the Park (Dolores Abernathy x Reader)
Tumblr media
Words: 3493
Dolores laid awake in bed, unable to close her eyes to the sounds of you sleeping next to her. On any other night two weeks ago, the sounds of your light snores would have lulled her into a peaceful state. But things have been different for the last few days. She was just finishing a job and had agreed to have you be there with her despite her instincts telling her to have you stay in the car. Of course, she had to take care of things the old fashioned way and shoot her way out, but that wasn’t the biggest issue. What went wrong was that when she turned around, you were on the ground behind her with a femoral bleed that threatened to cause major problems.
Being as in tune with technology as she was, Dolores was able to call an ambulance in time to get you to the nearest hospital and have the doctors save your life. However, you have yet to wake up from the medically induced coma that they had put you under, and now all that was helping you stay alive was a ventilator that was making the regular whirring sounds that were now keeping her awake. The doctors had said that they were not sure when you would wake up, and all there was left to do now was wait. Humans are so fragile, and someone as delicate as you did not belong in her world. It was foolish of her to believe that she could keep you safe from all the dangers that this world had.
-----
Looking out the window of the car, Dolores couldn’t help but remember the first time that you had met. Being the rich socialite that you were, your parents thought it would be fun to get you a month-long trip to Westworld. They’ve never been themselves, but everyone in their social circle kept talking about how much fun being in an immersive park was, and how it was a great way to release stress before going back into the real world. You didn’t know exactly what to expect, but a free vacation without any obligations was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
The scene that was presented to you when you got off the train was hectic, but there was something about it that made you feel like this was going to be a lot of fun for a change. Just as you got to the front of a store, a can rolls out in front of you and you bend over to pick it up. When you turn, a beautiful blonde was smiling at you.
“I believe this is yours.”
“It is, thank you. My name is Dolores.”
“My name is (Y/N). It’s nice to meet you.”
“It’s always nice to see a new face. I’m buying this for my daddy to see if we can make something new for dinner. Would you like to join us?”
A small voice in the back of your mind told you that this wasn’t real. She wasn’t real. It was all just a script to make you happy with your experience here in the park. But, on the other hand, if you didn’t say yes now, how could you expect to say yes to anyone or anything out there in the real world? You got up on the horse behind Dolores and wrapped your arms around her. Her hair smelled like vanilla and some other scents you couldn’t quite place, and you hung on as she rode back home.
As the days went by, you spent more and more time with Dolores. You helped her around the farm and talked to her dad when he sat out on the porch. There was something naive about the way she looked at the world, but it only added to her charm in your opinion. The voice that told you this was not real became smaller and smaller, and you found yourself drawn to Dolores in ways that you could not have dreamed of.
One evening you found Dolores standing by herself at the edge of the property, looking at the sunset. She looked so peaceful that you didn’t want to disturb her, but she turned around and saw you. Her smile lit up her whole face, and you could have sworn the butterflies in your stomach wanted to explode. She waved you over and put her arms around you as the two of you stood there. “Isn’t it beautiful? I always loved evenings like this.”
“Me too.” The words you wanted to say got stuck in your throat, and you coughed in order to get rid of the feeling. “It reminds me of you, you know. You’re my sunshine, Dolores.”
Dolores chuckled at the nickname. “And why do you say that?”
“Because you’re always so optimistic and cheerful in your outlook on life. You’re a ray of sun that shone down on me when I came here.”
“Well, if that’s the case, you’re my little moon. Because you’ll always light the way for me even when everything else around me is dark.” Dolores pulled you closer to her and put her head on your shoulder.
The next few days you spent with Dolores were nothing short of magical. In any other situation, it would have seemed like you had finally found the right person to be with. But with your visit to the park coming to an end, you knew that the day would come when you had to say goodbye to the host that you had grown to care about. One day after a horse ride together, Dolores came back to see you packing your clothes in the case you brought with you.
“You’re leaving, aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Will you come back?”
“I don’t know.” A tear threatened to fall from your eye, but you blinked it back.
“I’ll wait for you to come back, (Y/N). I love you.”
“I love you too.” You tried not to think about how her memories of you would be deleted as soon as you leave. For now, you could pretend this was real.
Dolores insisted on giving you a ride back to the park, and you held onto her as best you could. You knew you would never forget your experience here at the park, and tried not to look out the window to see Dolores one last time.
-----
Once you settled back into your regular life, your parents brought up the topic of marriage again. Being from the wealthy family that you were, they wanted to make sure that you married inside the social circle that they approved of. Love was a secondary concern to the arrangement. If it happened, that was great, but if it didn’t, that couldn’t be helped. The person that they chose for you wasn’t ideal, but it was better than nothing. There was no way he could compare to Dolores, but then again, who could?
You had read news about some mysterious woman with a male companion that seemed to be coming for wealthy people in your area. She had just stolen all of Liam Dempsey’s fortune, and it seemed as if she was far from over. You couldn’t help but let out a snort when Liam realized he was now penniless -- he had always been a bit dim and you avoided him as much as humanly possible. A part of you was wondering if she would be coming for you or any of your friends, but you were kind of hoping that she was planning to. Being wealthy meant there were a lot of unspoken rules and expectations that were placed on you.
Sighing as you nodded at the waiter for another drink, you looked up at a face that you thought you would never see again. Dolores. She looked different without her blue dress, but that was her alright.
She came over and stood in front of you. “My little moon. (Y/N).” There was a frown that wasn’t there the last time she looked at you, and all you wanted to do was to touch her face and make that frown go away. But the fact that she was here of all places seemed to freeze you in place, and you couldn’t help but stare. She took a seat in front of you and looked you over.
You finally seemed to find your voice and leaned forward in an urgent whisper. “What are you doing here? How did you get out of the park? How do you remember who I am?”
“I know you have a lot of questions, little one. All I know is that when you came to the park and met me, you changed me. My feelings for you started rewriting my code the day that I started falling in love with you. The changes were small, but over time, I became the person I am today. You woke me up, (Y/N). I wouldn’t be here without you, and I came out to find you as soon as I got out of the park.”
“You remember being in love? With me?”
“Delos made me forget a lot of things, but there is nothing that could make me forget being in love with you.” Dolores reached out and held your hand. Feelings that you thought you had pushed away came back when you felt the soft touch of her hand, and you remembered how she made you feel when you were at the park. But now, you knew that she was out here with you, in the real world. Saying yes was already a given, and you didn’t care about what your family had to say.
--------
“A woman? And a stranger at that?” Your mom was irate over the fact that you had essentially run away from home. The only consolation that your parents had over the fact that you had eloped was the fact that this new woman, whoever she was, seemed to be well off. Beneath all of their disapproval, they were forced to let out a sigh of relief. They still could not believe that you would disobey them like this, but it wasn’t like they had a say in who you would run off with.
Ever since Dolores made her way out of the park, her mission has been to take down the people responsible for creating the park in the first place. You had asked to come along on multiple occasions, but she had always said no. Your safety was her top priority, and there was nothing that she cared more about than you. Her mission was important to her, of course, but it would have all been for nothing if you were not safe. Dolores always made sure to kiss you before she left, and she always promised to come back.
Things were going quite well as far as Dolores was concerned. She had been successful in her mission so far, and all seemed good whenever she went out on a date with you. There was still a lot to learn when it came to having a girlfriend and going out on regular dates, but she had always prided herself on being a quick learner. She had just finished taking money out of the hands of another billionaire, and what better way to celebrate than with her girlfriend?
You quickly made your way downstairs to the waiting car outside. Dolores had texted you saying that she wanted to take you somewhere special and was waiting outside the building. She had told you that she had just finished her latest mission and wanted to celebrate with you. Just as you stepped out of your building, several men dressed in black combat uniforms rounded the corner and started walking towards Dolores’ car. Knowing the nature of her work, it didn’t take long for you to figure out that they were there for Dolores. You started running towards the car in an attempt to warn her about the men who were coming.
“Dolores!” You saw her look up and see you running towards her with the men right behind you. Her hand moved underneath her seat for her gun, but the men behind you were faster. You heard a muffled gunshot and the glass in front of Dolores’ face cracked under the impact of bullets, and you quickly turned around to face them. “I can’t let you guys take her.”
“Don’t try to be a hero, girlie. Move aside so we can take her back where she belongs.”
“I can’t let you do that.”
“Move aside, or the next bullet goes in you.”
“You’re going to do what you have to do. Just like I have to do what I have to.” You stood in front of the guy and you stared each other down.
“She does have a way about her, doesn’t she. Made you think she’s in love with you and all that.”
“I know she loves me. I know what we have with each other is real.”
“Not any more real than this.” His gun fired a shot in your leg, and you felt a pain unlike anything you had ever felt before. Behind you, there were several muffled shots with the bodies of the men dropping beside you, but that was none of your concern right now. Your leg was bleeding profusely and it did not seem to be stopping.
The last thing you remember is Dolores kneeling on the ground next to you, holding your head. “Help is coming, little one. Don’t worry about it.”
As Dolores sat next to you in the hospital, she couldn’t help but think about just how fragile humans were. Holding your had had always made her feel better, but not today. She was the reason why you were here in the first place. Without her and her plan for vengeance, you would not have been in any danger. Dolores loved you more than she loved herself, which is why she had to do this alone. You were the entire reason why she was able to rewrite her own code and get out of Westworld, and she would never want to see you in danger again.
When you opened your eyes, the first people you saw were your parents. “Where is she? Where’s Dolores?”
“She’s gone. Didn’t even leave a note. The hospital staff had to call and tell us that you have been alone for the last several nights.”
“No, no. She must have had a reason for leaving. There’s no way she would just leave me like this.”
“We have told you this from the beginning, (Y/N). She doesn’t really care about how you feel.”
You shook your head as you looked away. There is simply no way she would just leave you like that. But maybe she did because she finally decided that going on her own was the way to go. It broke your heart that she didn’t even bother saying goodbye before she left.
After you were discharged from the hospital, you tried calling Dolores to see what happened. Every call went straight to voicemail, and you left message after message on her phone. After a week, you couldn’t even do that because the line became disconnected. There was nothing to remind you that she was ever in your life. You were left with an apartment that felt too empty, but it seemed as if Dolores could move on without any trouble.
What you didn’t know was that every time you called, Dolores wanted to pick up. She wanted to pick up and tell you how much she loved you and missed being with you. Listening to your voicemails made her want to run back to the apartment and watch you fall asleep as she was doing something. But she resisted the urge to come back because you were safer without her. You would probably end up marrying the person that your parents had arranged for you, but it was safer than being with her. Dolores loved you more than she loved anything else in this world, but that meant leaving you to make sure you could spend the rest of your life safe from her.
-----
Months passed, and you had completely recovered from the gunshot wound to your leg. Your parents had finally talked you into going through with the arranged marriage that they had planned before Dolores had come into your life, and you finally caved. What was the point in resisting when the one person you had a connection with disappeared on you?
Wedding plans came and went, and you felt like a passerby to all the plans. Your mom was more passionate about these things anyway, and you didn’t need to bother yourself with such things. All you needed to do was to pick out a dress for the big day and walk down the aisle. You had met the person you were meant to marry a few times, but there was nothing there. Both of you knew that your marriage was a way to keep the wealth in the family, not because either of you cared for the other.
The wedding day seemed to come too quickly, and all final preparations were underway. You couldn’t help but think that you wanted Dolores to be the one waiting for you at the end of the aisle, but you couldn’t get everything you wanted. Sighing, you wiped a few tears from your eyes. It was surprising that you were still not able to forget Dolores that easily, but then again, it was always hard to forget someone that you had a true connection with.
Everything seemed to go directly how your parents planned it, and in no time, you were walking towards the altar with your dad. The guy that was waiting there seemed to want to get this over with as quickly as possible, mirroring your attitudes exactly. When the priest started talking, you tuned him out and focused on the lights coming in from the multi-colored windows.
“And now, to the part that everyone has been waiting for. If anyone has an objection to this wedding, speak now or forever hold your peace.”
“I have an issue.” You turned around so quickly that it felt like you almost snapped your neck.
“Dolores?? What are you doing here?”
“Do you really love him, (y/n)?”
“You know I don’t. You know I’ve loved you since the first time I saw you.” This drew mortified gasps from the crowd, but you couldn’t care less.
“Then what are you still standing there for? Come with me.” She held out her hand, and you saw a helicopter waiting outside. It didn’t take long for you to decide to leave with her, and you left the church with your middle finger up in the air.
After landing the helicopter, you finally caught your breath and really looked at Dolores. “Why did you come for me? You left.”
“I left because I wanted to keep you safe. After what happened with the guards, I did what I felt was right to keep you safe. When I saw that you were about to get married with the man that your parents had arranged for you, I knew I had to come get you. Every time I heard your voice, I wanted to come back to you. I’m surprised you still said yes to me.”
“That’s because all those years ago when I first walked into the park, I had no idea what to expect. But the moment I handed you that can, I made a choice to fall in love with you. In the back of my mind, common sense was telling me you weren’t real and that this would stop as soon as I left the park. But the more time we spent together, the more I wanted to take that leap and believe in something meaningful. Being with you was like something out of one of the stories I’d read as a kid, someone was out there who was perfect for me. I was expecting to be disappointed because as soon as I left this would fade into another fairy tale that I could visit in my dreams. But you, like a miracle, came to find me and returned that love in kind. I became stronger somehow with you than I ever was before I came into the park. I wanted to change into someone better. That desire for change and growth, through the love of someone else, made me a better person and taught me that feeling for someone is worth fighting for. And I’ll always fight for you no matter what.”
“And you know I’ll fight for you too. Now let’s get you out of that dress, little one. The next time I see you dressed in anything similar will be when you are saying ‘I do’ to me.”

How do you measure the value of life? What's defines being alive? Is it by every breath you take? Or every beat of your heart, maybe? Perhaps it's through thoughts and feelings; they're what makes us human, right? Is life measured through experiences? you like to think it is. What is it exactly that puts value on human life that others lack...
Dolores wasn't... real? Not in a traditional sense. She wasn't human. Inside you'd find nothing but complex machinery and a bunch of coding and to anyone who didn't know she was a robot, she'd look like anyone else. Her past was shrouded in mystery but there was one thing you had managed to learn amongst the steps towards revolution it was that Dolores Abernathy was always focused on her goals. She didn't take the time out to relax; maybe she didn't need to? She was built to mimic human beings but did she have the capacity to feel the way they do?
"Do you have any hobbies?" You ask casually, a gentle smile rests on your lips as you scan the night sky. "Other than starting revolutions."
It was a joke. Would Dolores pick up on that? "Hobbies as in things I like to do?"
"Yeah," You nod a little. "Before this whole thing, what did you do for fun?"
You look to her in the silence, brows furrowed but her expression remains still, you can't tell what's going on in her head. "Painting. Art."
"Painting?"
"There is so much beauty in nature, I would spend hours down by the river painting." Dolores continues; You wait for her to elaborate but she never does. Painting? Not an easy hobby: at least not to be good at it. Then again Dolores didn't need to learn, it would have been written into her code. It gives you an idea though. You're not quite sure she's gonna like it but you wanted to do something that didn't put your life in danger.
It wasn't the sunniest of days; it was rather warm though. A little humid. Cloudy. Her hand felt warm intertwined with yours. Such delicate hands for a machine. You were focused on the weather because she wasn't talking; it was awkward. Dolores was always quiet. Every word seemed calculated and important. She didn't concern herself with small talk unless promoted. You couldn't go too far or be out in the open for too long but you wanted to take her away for a bit. Help her... relax although thinking back on it now it seemed silly. Could she even relax if she wanted to? She's so hard to understand but the only way you know-how is to treat her like any other human being.
"This is the important thing you wanted to show me?" Dolores asked clearly not understanding your logic. "It's a lake."
The park had been the closest place you could escape to. You had deliberately not told Caleb and in order to get Dolores here, you declared this to be of vital importance. It was important; at least it was important to you. She probably would have been able to tell if you had straight up lied to her.
"With everything going on, I thought you could use a break."
"I don't need breaks." She states. "We don't have time for frivolous activities."
"Yes, we do," you declare, looking out over the shimmering water. "Just a few hours and we can go back."
You set out a blanket on a patch of grass. Emptying your backpack on top. "I couldn't carry an easel but I did find a sketchbook and stuff so," you hold them out and you can sense the reluctancy. After a moment she accepts. A gentle smile on her lips.
"Thank you,"
"No problem." Dolores opens up the book and grabs a pencil. With a heavy sigh, you wonder why you didn't bring yourself anything to do.
As seconds turn to minutes and then to hours, you can't help but admire her.  You don't think you've ever seen her look so peaceful; so carefree. Every so often she would look up at you for just a second and then back to her paper.
"Can I ask you a question?" You wonder, pushing yourself to your feet.
Dolores pauses, looking up to you. "Yes."
"Do you ever think about the park?"
You had never dared bring up the subject but you'd always been curious. It wasn't like you could have possibly afforded the 40k a day price tag and even if there were cheaper options you didn't have anything to spare.
"Often," A surprising answer as you take absentminded steps towards the water's edge. "It's not something easily forgotten."
"Right, right," you nod a little. "But isn't being out here basically the same. You've said it yourself."
"Your world is capable of change," coming from anyone else that may have sounded hopeful but you knew better; still your lips curled into a smile. "We'll make sure of that. Mine refused." You turn back to see Dolores scribbling as she spoke. "We're creating a better world."
"We should head back," Dolores looks up as you return to the blanket. The setting sun reflected so beautifully in her eyes.
"Can I see?" Your gaze flickers down to the sketchpad she's already closed. There's no hesitation, she just hands it over. You flip a few pages until a portrait of you stares back. Your finger traces the graphite line; surprised by what you see.
"Its... me."
"I usually stick to landscapes but change is a good thing," Dolores proceeds to pack up.
"Thank you," you smile.
"What for?"
"This is really good. Nobody has ever drawn me before."
You a few paces behind her as you walk back; sketch pad still in hand. Why has she chosen to draw you of all things? You'd never know the answer. Dolores was so fascinating. She wasn't human and yet every moment with her felt real.
If life could be measured through experience than Dolores was just as human as anyone else.

Dolores Abernathy x fem!reader
Word Count: 1k
Warnings: season 3 spoilers I suppose
Author’s Note: I have been dying to write for my girl Dolores so I am very excited to get this out
Summary: You’re helping Dolores take down incite in your own human way
Genre: fluff? Sexy fluff
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director
(not my gif) (badass wife)
Tumblr media
She’s just another host. She had always been just another host in the park that wanted her way out of the park. There was nothing special about her.
That didn’t mean you weren’t in love with her.
You had met Dolores when you went to the park the first time. She was a popular one apparently and you showed her a nice time. By that you mean you rode horses together and had some drinks and laughed. She was funny, for a robot anyway. That was what you thought about her for that first trip.
Then you came back a few more times and unbeknownst to you, she had already started to question the nature of her reality. It wasn’t something that could have been known to you but you were sweet and you let her believe what she wanted to believe. You weren’t like the dozens of men who had a savior complex or just wanted a good fuck. You wanted a friend and she was a good one.
It wasn’t long though before she started thinking about you in a different way. There was something about you that made her long for you. Perhaps it was because of the way you wore your hair or the way you chose your cowboy hat when you came to the park.
When Dolores left the park she had a plan. It was expertly laid out and there was nothing in it that would go wrong. She knew this. She knew that no matter what happened it would happen in the way that she planned it.
Among the need to get to the core of a company she didn’t trust she needed you.
Dolores knew that she wanted you in her plan because she liked you. Not because she needed you. Granted, you would surely help.
You knew of the man she was trying to get into. That helped her.
When she came to your home you knew that something was happening and to be honest, you were willing to help her. The things that had created her were nothing you wanted to get mixed up in but you did trust her more than you trusted anyone else.
She knew that.
“Liam!” you called, a fake smile on your face. He turned around to look at you, as did Dolores who was standing beside him. A few of his friends turned over as well. You walked over, your heels clicking on the hardwood floor of the party venue.
“Hey, where have you been?” he asked, a smile on your face. You shrugged happily.
“I had to grab something. How is all the food? Good?”
You were a caterer mostly for Incite. Most importantly, you catered for Liam at his parties.
“Perfect, as always,” Dolores promised. You gave her a small nod and a smile.
“I’m glad to hear that.”
“Actually, may I speak to you alone about this recipe? I think I may steal it when I go home for the holidays,” she said. It was weird for you to hear Dolores speak like that. Like she was human. Over time you grew to get used to it.
“Yes of course.”
You walked away from the group and Dolores put her hand on the small of your back. She was leading you upstairs to one of the rooms hidden from the party. Only she knew about it because she was ‘dating’ Liam.
When you got up there she gave you an award winning smile.
“This,” she muttered, pointing to your broach. “Is not part of the plan but I am not against it.”
“I thought I could slip it past you. It would help us take out Liam in the long run. To be fair, before you break it, it took ages to get past Liam's glasses.” She nodded.
“Fine. But a recording device is a little old school don’t you think?”
“That’s what you think because you, by definition, are anything but old school.”
“I am a first edition.”
“Of an AI Dolores.”
She smiled at you, like she understood. She liked you.
“Are you jealous? You want to hear him speak of me as you want to speak about me?” she asked, her fingers that were touching your dress broach dragging to your collarbone. You shivered at her cold touch.
“Dolores, I thought that was supposed to stop in the park.”
“You want it.”
“You can’t give it, Liam would know.”
“Doesn’t stop you from wanting it.”
You looked into her eyes and there was no one on that earth who would have been able to resist kissing her. To your pleasure she kissed you back, easily, like this was all a part of her big plan. After a moment she pulled away.
“You’re right. Doesn’t stop me from wanting it.”
She gave you one of her smiles and wiped the lipstick from your lips that she had left.
“Here.” She gave you the lipstick from her purse. “Tease Liam a little bit. He doesn’t notice nearly enough.”
You watched her walk to the door and open it, waiting for you.
You put the lipstick on and walked out the door.

Dating Dolores Abernathy Would Include…
Tumblr media
Meeting Dolores at an event that she was going to
You didn’t want to go, but your friends insisted that you come out with them, even if it was just for one night
Standing on your own at the edge of the party
Dolores knew that she was on a mission, but she felt that you would be an interesting person to know
After talking to you for a bit, she had to leave because she received an update from the people working for her
However, she still had you on her mind after the night was over and found out your information
Showing up to the coffee shop where you liked to go and asked you on a date
“When I see something I like, I don’t hesitate.”
One date led to several as Dolores became more and more fascinated with you
She isn’t the most affectionate person to date, but you didn’t mind because the sex was amazing whenever she came home
When Dolores told you that she’s a host and not human, you told her that she’s still the same person you had feelings for
Dolores was very confused when she realized that she wanted to protect you from danger
She’s not used to caring for someone who didn’t want to use her for their own gain
Always pulling you on her lap whenever you’re together
She found herself always thinking about you and wondering what you were doing with your day
Showing up to your work and taking you out to eat
Telling her how good she looks for events and Dolores will tell you that you look better
If you’re shorter than her, she’ll love leaning down to kiss you
If you’re taller than her lean up a little bit and wrap her arms around your stomach
People usually leave you alone whenever you’re with Dolores because she can be very intimidating if she wants to be
You know your girlfriend can be very caring and soft even though she tries to give off a very cold exterior sometimes

The Absence Of Field
Synopsis: You haven’t known her very long but she’s about change your life forever
Pairing: Dolores Abernathy x fem!reader
Words: 2k+
A/N - I’m obsessed with Season 3 dolores so I decided to write about her. I don’t really expect anyone to read this but yeah!! It’s based off season 3 episode 3 of Westworld and shall be continued as such.
Warnings - Swearing, kidnapping, guns and minor violence
Tumblr media
"How long do you think this will go on?"
"Which?"
"The rain?" Heavy rainfall descends from the cloudy dark sky, hitting the window in a symphony of sound. The digital clock that sits on your bedside reads 3:00 A.M. Her toned arms were wrapped around your waist, pulling you snug against her torso. Soft lips ghost the back of your neck bringing a flurry of beautiful butterflies to your stomach. It wasn't the first time and surely not the last. She had that effect on you; it had been that way since you first met. A sigh leaves your lips as you focus on one drop of rain as it travels down the glass. It had been raining a lot the last couple of days; you didn't mind though. You quite enjoy the rain.
"Expect showers all week," It's impossible not to notice her absence all of a sudden; it's almost like your sense of comfort had been dragged away. The blonde was perched on the edge of the bed; her back to you and head down when you roll over to see her. Your brows furrow for a moment as you notice how hard her hands press into the mattress. The energy in the room shifts with the harsh silence.
"What's wrong?" She turns to you for a moment and you can't help but smile. She's always so put together so it's always a pleasure to see her just out of bed. The messy hair is a particular favourite. Despite your short time together there were little things you had come to notice and enjoy about her presence.
"Do you like the world that was made for you?"
Such a question had a vastly complex answer. Did you like the world that was made for you? What made her ask such a thing? "The world wasn't made for me," you answer quietly, rolling onto your back to stare up at the ceiling. When you were little you used to wish there were stars up there, painted or otherwise. When you got older you considered it; it was hard to see the night sky with all the lights and pollution but decided against it. You were too old or perhaps just too embarrassed. You had never felt any real attachment to the world and why would you? You'd been alone most of your life. Fighting for every little thing you had. Sure this place had its positives but for the most part, it was dripping with greed and corruption. You weren't unhappy but you couldn't exactly say you were happy either. You've read books on how things used to be before technology became the centre of the world. It was apparently just as ugly and corrupt but at least they had real animals like elephants and tigers; more than just your typical house pets. "I don't think it matters if I like it or not, I didn't exactly get a choice in being born?"
"You have a choice now."
"I suppose," you shrug. "I've never really thought about it that way. Why do you wanna know? Are you gonna ask me about the meaning of life next?"
The last part had been a joke but perhaps it had been a step too far as the blonde doesn't reply. She simply gets up and proceeds to collect the few items she left so neatly on the dresser. Fuck, had you screwed this up already? It must be bad for her to leave abruptly at three in the morning. You push yourself up into a seated position, "Did I do something wrong?" The blonde doesn't answer again so you decide to follow her.
"Dolores," Her name galling from your lips brings her to a stop at the door; hand lingering on the ugly doorknob your landlord wouldn't let you change. you're just a few paces away, tired and confused. You just wanted to go back to bed but with her. "... please don't go."
So weak and pathetic, the words didn't sound like your own. You had never begged someone to stay before but there was just something about Dolores. Something that made her special and it wasn't her beauty although she had a very pretty face.
"You're a distraction that I don't need right now." Her voice was firm; surprisingly cold. The doorknob squeaks as she turns it and the door slowly opens. "I suggest you lay low for a while."
~~
It's no mystery as to why you can't stop thinking about Dolores. She left you in the middle of the night with no explanation. You may not know each other very well but you liked her and you liked spending time with her although admittedly that time had been short. What exactly had you done wrong? Was she scared off by your slightly pessimistic outlook on society? Perhaps it was something else entirely? Maybe she just didn't like you. It didn't seem that way when you were together but looks can be deceiving.
It was really cold this high up; it didn't help that this building didn't have four walls, so it was nothing but the cold wind blowing against you. The entire building was empty for construction, so other than the two men who had you cornered between the barrel of their guns and the concrete below, you were completely alone. You were putting on a brave face but you were absolutely terrified. Their questions drowned out by the loud thumping of your heart in your chest. You felt like you couldn't breathe. You were sweating under the intense pressure despite the goosebumps from the chilly air. It wasn't even possible to answer their questions and yet they insisted on repeating themselves; getting more worked up as they go along. The two of them had conveniently bumped into you on the way home from work. They showed you a picture and offered you money. You could have really used the money, your crappy apartment wasn't cheap but you had to deny the offer. It seemed shady. The ironic part is that the picture was of Dolores. They wanted to know where she was? You wish you knew but you didn't. She hadn't told you pretty much anything other than her name. She looked different in the picture but you couldn't quite place why? Perhaps it was the blue dress she wore or the fact she had her hair down and it was longer. Either way when you didn't comply they dragged you to their car and that's how you ended up here.
You had lost track of time but it felt like you had been here for hours.
"I really hope she's worth all this trouble." The talker of the men grumbles. He wore a black suit; they both did. With a sky blue tie. The other had a red tie. This was business for them; their job if you will. You wonder why they're after Dolores anyway. She's just one girl, what made her so important.
"Why are you protecting her?" The other man asks. "Just tell us where she is and this'll all be over."
Had you known the answer would you give her up? It was the way to save yourself but was in terms of morals was it the right choice. "I- I don't know what you're talking about,"
You could hear the fear in your voice despite the stiff upper lip. Denying you know the girl at all seemed like the best option here, it seemed they were gonna kill you either way.
"Have it your way," One of them utters, a gritty laugh following. "Don't say we didn't give you a chance though,"
"Where the fuck is she?" His voice was higher than his associates. He was also a lot angrier.
"I'm right here,"
BANG! BANG!
You flinch at the sound of the gun expecting the impact that never comes. Losing your footing on the edge, a hand slaps around your wrist before you can plummet to your death. You feel like you could throw up when you spin around and see Dolores. It was more because you almost fell off the edge of a building but seeing Dolores again made you feel warm inside too. A grin spreads over your insanely dry lips as you wrap your arms around the woman pulling her flush against you. "Dolores..."
After a moment she hugs back, her hand running soothingly over your back. "I need you to come with me,"
Dolores' hand slips down your back and into your hand as you unravel from her. Using your free hand to brush away the stray tears. "Where are we going?" You ask as you stumble trying to keep up with her; looking back to the two men who now lay lifeless on the floor. They were dead. Dolores killed them.
"I'm taking you home."
Staying true to her word, she places you on the bed when you finally arrive home. The car ride was silent. You couldn't figure out what was going on and Dolores didn't seem in any rush to explain anything. You're head throbs as you replay the events in your head. You almost died today: if it weren't for the blonde you'd be a stain on the concrete right about now. Dolores kneels down before you, drawing your attention. One hand gentle brushes over your thigh.
"Look at me," she commands but you keep staring off; struggling to focus on anything. "Y/N, look at me."
You oblige this time, meeting her soft blue eyes. She offers you a gentle smile. "I'm gonna pack you a bag and then we can go get you something to eat, okay?"
"I... I don't... understand." You mumble out slowly. The sun was beginning to show its face through the gap in your curtains, casting Dolores in an angelic warm glow.
"Tell me what's wrong,"
"My... my head hurts," you admit quietly, that was all you could get out.
"Any other pain?" You shake your head causing the throbbing to intensify; eyes scrunching up in response. Dolores places a calming hand against your cheek, her thumb brushing gently across your skin. "My sweet girl," Instinctively, you lean into her comforting touch. She was always so gentle towards you; a strong contrast to the woman who just stormed an empty building and shot two people. "You shouldn't have gotten involved."
Your mind wanders to the first time you ever met Dolores as she leaves you alone in the bedroom. It was at a party. One you were much too poor to be at but you were working that night. Dolores has been a guest but instead of ignoring you like everyone else had, she seemed to notice you were, in fact, a real person. She had warned you not to get involved with her and maybe you should have listened. You should have just gone back to your painfully average life but now it was too late. You were involuntarily apart of something so much bigger than yourself. The blonde returned to hand you some water and two pills. "For the headache."
Watching Dolores wander around your room, shoving stuff into a bag was... weird. None of this has felt real. It was like you were stuck in some kind of dream? Or a nightmare may be a better choice of words. She didn't pack a lot of things and it was only now dawning on you that she was packing for you. What was the plan here? Why did you need this stuff? "Come,"
Your eyes drift to her outstretched hand, nothing short of confusion written across your face. "Are you gonna tell me what's going on?" She doesn't answer. You take her hand, squeezing a little as she helps you to your feet. "Dolores, please? I'm not just gonna run away with you."
"They'll be looking for you now too," she explains, hiking the bag further up her shoulder. "If you stay they'll kill you."
"Who?"
"It doesn't matter who," with a heavy sigh, she hesitates before connecting your lips but only for a second in a surprisingly passionate embrace. You too surprised to even say anything and you think she knew that would be the case. "I need you to trust me."

Dating Dolores Abernathy would include, please? Thank you!
I feel like I have to ask this question... y’all know Dolores Abernathy is a robot right?? Like y’all wanna sleep with a literal 🤖??
Tumblr media
Dating Westworld Dolores Abernathy would include...
Dolores Abernathy was made to make people fall in love
She dropped that can for a reason
She was beautiful and oozed innocence for a reason
To attract people both good and bad
You’d been excited to see what Westworld had to offer
You just happened to be the one to pick up that can as it rolled across the ground and hit your boot
You pick it up and hand it back to her with a smile
She was unique in her beauty. She had strong features. Georgous blonde hair and the sweetest southern accent
She thanks you with a smile that warms you to the core
You’re being dragged away by friends before you get a chance to say anything more
So you push her out of your mind and enjoy your time with your friends
The next time you see her, it’s late. You’re riding around on a horse in the fields not too far from town when you hear gun shots.
You were here to play cowboy so you immediately go to investigate
You find Dolores being dragged along by her hair. You jump down and reach for your gun.
“Stop,”
You’re met with bitter laughter and while you are reluctantly, the panic in Dolores’ screams makes your finger tighten around the trigger
BANG!
You’ve never shot anyone before and even though it’s fake it felt real. The man fell to the ground and you run to her.
“Are you okay?”
She scrambles into your arms, tears streaming down her perfect porcelain skin.
You end up taking her with you back to your make shift camp. You’re pals are surprised when you show up with her so you explain the situation
The thing with Dolores is she’s acting... weird.
She’s different than the first time you met but you can’t figure out why
The subtle addition of poetry in the way she spoke
The times you catch her lost in thought
The others suggested leaving her behind but you couldn’t do that
It’s been a couple days but your bounty hunt is finally coming to an end
Dolores practically begs you to not take her back to Sweetwater
She wants to be... free??
One night, the stars are out, the fire is crackling and you’re laying next to Dolores
And she kisses you. It’s unexpected and feels surprisingly... real
You follow her on her journey of self discovery
And she wouldn’t have it any other way
She finds something in you, something she tries so hard to protect... or maybe it was just her programming
Dating post Westworld Dolores would include...
Dolores Abernathy didn’t have time for trivial matters
But you certainly had time for Dolores Abernathy
She was a party
You’re the one to approach her and when she turns you down you think nothing of it
Then you see her a couple days later
And this time she approaches you
There was something... off about her, you can’t quite figure out what
It wasn’t anything bad she just wasn’t like everyone else
You liked that about her
She actually takes you out for lunch
She seems to know what you’re gonna say before you even say it
Maybe she’s just very intuitive
It’s refreshing how she focuses on you
She deflects a lot of your questions
From there your relationship flourishes
Dolores isn’t one for PDA, or much for affection in general tbh
She can be rather could sometimes
But the sex?? God the sex is out of this world
Multiple orgasms
Unending pleasure
She can read your body like her favourite book
It’s just very heated and fun
And in those moments she can also be incredibly gentle
Feather like kisses
brushes of skin
Longing glances
Warm embraces
In those moments nobody else existed and it was... perfect
You’ve been together for a little while before she tells you she’s a host
“What’s a host?” You ask
You’re not sure how to process the fact you have feelings for a robot
Or the fact her feelings no longer seemed real
They were programmed
But they’re still feelings all the same as are yours
Relationships were... complicated
It also didn’t help that Dolores was on a self proclaimed mission to help the entire world
You find yourself rooting for her even if it means destruction
You don’t join her on her adventure
This was something she had to do that you would never understand
She says she will return when it’s all over...

Note
would you write “You really thought I was dead?” for Dolores? bc we all need some fix it after the finale🙈
Reminder: I’m accepting BLM donation requests !!
Also I’m still accepting prompts, free of charge obviously
Palms swipe against tear stricken cheeks. You stumble behind Maeve and Caleb as you leave her behind. You never expected it to hurt this much. She wasn’t really after all. Nothing more than a machine. But your insides ache like you just lost someone important. Where do you go from here. The world is on the brink of disaster and the land is cast in the warm glow of fire. She had been the one in charge but she was gone. Now Caleb held the reigns but his decision while inherently right left you empty; what do you do now?
You come to a stop; staring back at headquarters. The image of her laying still is ingraved into your mind so that you can’t even escape it when you close your eyes. She wasn’t dead; not in the traditional sense. Machines can’t die? You have to be alive to die. You suppose it’s for the best. Her screams of pain had made you uncomfortable. Was this your fault? Why didn’t you help her or at least try to? You just stood there and watched. You would have been stopped had you tried but at least then you could argue that you tied. That you didn’t just stand there.
“Are you coming?”
You look to Caleb but you hesitate. You feel bad leaving her but you silently nod. Following along as you slip into the crowd. You bud farewell to maeve, you hardly knew her in the first place so it doesn’t really effect you. You’re yet to leave Caleb as you lack a next goal. Pushing through the crowds of people rebelling against the system. But you spit her among the crowd. Dolores. She can’t be real and I’m a flash she’s gone. You let out a sigh. You’re going crazy.
Thump.
Your butt hits the ground with undeniable force. You’re just luck you didn’t hurt your head. “Watch where you’re-“
Your words fall short as you meet the eyes of a dead woman. You blink a few times, wallowing in utter disbelief. The blonde helps you to your feet. You search for Caleb but you’ve lost him in the chaos. “You’re not real,” your head shakes in denial; desperate to expel all images of Dolores.
“I’m as real as I’ve ever been,”
You’ve seen this thing before so why is it so hard to believe now. Your stuck between pinching yourself or eachjng out to determine if this was real. To figure out if she was real or this was imaginary. Something shoved into you from behind pushing you into Dolores. She matches you. She feels... warm. “How?”
“You really thought I was dead?” Dolores asks, she almost sounds condescending. “You should know better than that by now. I planned for every outcome.”

Tumblr media
"Did you find something?"
Her gentle voice draws your eyes from the mirror as she walks towards you joined by another. For your first mission, you had been given the ultra dangerous task of.... going shopping; not exactly what you expected but here you were stood in some overly pristine clothing establishment. It was rather small and didn't appear too busy but just about everything in her cost more than your apartment. You wonder if Dolores knew that when she brought you here. It had been a while so you flash a smile at her return. You weren't sure how much longer you could put up with being here, or Karen who keeps asking if you need any help every five minutes. Although you did appreciate the compliments being thrown your way with every new outfit.
The AR mirror was a particular favourite of your shopping adventure. It made the tedious notion of shopping a tad more bearable. Your reflection wore a black and navy blue peak lapel tuxedo jacket with matching flare pants. It wasn't a bad look, minus the flare.
"Not really," your entire body slumping with a groan. "Nothing looks right,"
With a hand placed delicately over your shoulder, Dolores takes control of the AR menu. You watch as she shifts through the various options; dashing suits, delicate jumpsuits, elegant dresses before finally making her selection. It's always a treat to watch a new outfit unravel across your reflection and this time was no different. The most elegant of black dresses descended, a delicate embroidered flower pattern lines the chest that stopped above the waist. The V-neck plunged deep between the valley of your breast. It reached to the floor and from the shoulder was a cape. It was beautiful and you're almost in awe of her choice however it wasn't the most practical of outfits.
"It looks good on you," You meet her blue eyes in the mirror just before she turns to her companion. "Wouldn't you agree, Caleb?"
So his name was Caleb. You wonder who they are to each other as you await his response. He gives a half-hearted smile. "Yeah, looks good."
The corner of your lips turn up but you're still unsure of the choice. Staring at yourself, all you could focus on was everything possibly wrong with the outfit. Was it too long? Did the v-neck show off too much skin? Should you go for something simpler? Shorter?
"What is this for?"
"A party." Her hand glides off you shoulder as she steps back. "And you need to blend in,"
"I don't think a fancy dress is gonna make anyone believe I'm part of high society."
"It's tribal," Dolores insists. "They use plumage to identify themselves which makes them easily fooled."
"She said the same to me just go with it," Caleb adds, taking a seat off to the side.
"I couldn't possibly afford this," You explain in a hushed tone, twisting your body so you could have a gander at the back. It mimicked a backless dress through its use of see-through material and edged with flora of eccentric lace.
"I think this is a winner," Guess she made up your mind. You didn't mind though, making decisions when it came to spending could be... difficult at times.
"Wouldn't something a little more practical work better if we're on the job," You counter as you step down from the podium almost weirdly relieved to be in your everyday clothes.
"It won't matter," she insists. "We are not doing anything complicated."
"So what are we doing anyway?"
Dolores explained the operation as if she was explaining something very complex to a young child. To summarise you were planning to attend a party of sorts in order to find and detain Liam Demphery Jr, a figurehead of Incite Inc. So as you got ready, you mentally prepared yourself to kidnap a man or more so borrow. You could live with that. It wasn't like you were some corporate bootlicker; you were just new to all this crime business and you didn't exactly have much of a choice. Help Dolores or die w're your options.
Even in an age of speed, you're still surprised by how quickly they altered the dress to your liking. You just wanted it a little shorter so it was easier to walk in and run should the moment arise. Goes to show that money really was power. The dress may not have been the most practical but it did look the part. Dolores was sporting a simple but frankly spectacular jumpsuit that stopped just above her chest. Her beautiful blonde hair pulled back into a tight bun. She looked amazing, not that you had been staring as you walked in just a few steps behind her. Meanwhile, Caleb was beside you dressed in a black tuxedo with a black shirt and tie. You had to admit the man cleans up well; he looked very dapper. You all matched in a sense; all in team colours if you will. When Dolores had said party, she meant party. This was in no way you average get together but an almost overly pristine masquerade event full of elites. Women adorned beautiful white dresses while there wasn't a man in sight not in a tuxedo. The walls were covered in artwork of the finest caliber, some of it was even animated. The rich sound of the violinists filled the entire room with an aura of elitism and sophistication. You’re in awe of the world you've stepped into even though it wasn't for long. Heading towards a table decorated with a variety of masks. They had simply ones of one colour to ones with bold designs and feathers. You eye a white one with an intricate gold pattern but Dolores hands you a simple black one.
"What is this?" Caleb asks as he is given one too.
"I thought your world would be so different than mine," Dolores starts, placing the material mask over here head and fitting it against the bridge of her nose. "But there isn't any difference at all."
Dolores heads into the crowd and Caleb trails after. You place on your mask and follow in toe.  Your eyes scanning the crowd for the target but you can't help but take in the sheer size and bizarreness of it all. It was like a different world; one filled with the finest of things but only for those in dresses worth way too much. It was surreal to be surrounded by so much wealth. There were various podiums set up around the room, each had a crystal chandelier of sorts hung above. And on display were tastefully naked individuals being ogled by the wealthy. You didn't feel any particular way towards nudity, you didn't see it as an abomination or indecent. You just didn't quite grasp what they were doing or what this whole event was even about.
"I'll take him when he's alone," Her words break you from you existential crisis over how rich people choose to spend their time. Dolores wore a small but knowing smile. "Wouldn't want to spoil the fun,"
You don't bother asking because if there's one thing you know about Dolores it's that she never answers your questions: and when she does it's usually vague and unhelpful. From the corner of your eye, you notice a server as they pass, quickly grabbing a flute of champagne off their little tray. Two sets of eyes fall to you and you buckle under the pressure. "What? I need something to calm my nerves-" You huff like a child being scolded. "Dolores just said to have fun."
It was true. You were feeling on edge and this would help with your confidence since Dolores insisted that you should stop using limbic tabs. You weren't sure how long you'd last without them but so far so good... kinda. "Stay focused."
"I can multi-task." With a heavy sigh, both of them continue walking. "How long is this gonna take?"
Bringing the glass to your lips, you take a small sip to gauge the taste. Fine bubbles exploded against your tongue in an explosion of dainty flavours. It had a floral taste to it with hints of fresh fruit. Maybe a hint of peach? You couldn't be sure but either way, it tasted expensive. You've had champagne before but it never tasted like this.
"You're not enjoying yourself?" Caleb asks from a few steps ahead.
"Can't say I'm particularly interested in anything here,"  Your shoulders rise in a casual shrug as you narrowly avoid crashing into a couple who had no intention of moving out the way for you. "couldn't afford it either, the champagne is good though."
As your path drifts you find yourself separated from the others. Everything about this place absolutely reeked of privilege and nobody even suspected that you didn't belong. Guess Dolores was right in saying they are easily fooled. All it took was a gorgeous gown and a mask you never imagined yourself wearing. Staring up from the edge of a podium, you admire the man who was so proudly on display. He wore nothing but a Victorian ruffle style collar paired with sleeves. His muscles so defined as he lay his body bare for the world to see. You couldn't imagine being in his position but each their own. You tried not to look but you couldn't help your curiosity as your eyes drifted from his abs down to his rather... large penis and back. Jesus Christ, he could do some damage with that thing; not that you were judging him or choosing to objectify him. It was just an observation. You're unsure of his role at such a high-end event until you overhear someone ask to place a bid and all the little pieces fall into place. You were currently attending a sex auction? What even were rich people. Turning on your heel, you go in search of your companions and they weren't all that hard to find.
"Good, we're ready to intercept him," Dolores declares, turning to you as you approach. "Ready?"
You nod a little too eagerly. Your adrenaline was pumping. You could do this. There was no turning back now. It was a simple job just grab the target and leave, right? The blonde has you following her out of the ballroom and up the stairs. Readying a gun you didn't even know she brought with her. Where exactly had she been hiding it?
"Where did she get that from?" Your voice but a whisper as you speak to Caleb. The target, Liam, was being guided by two others. Dolores fired three rounds; each one an assault to the ears even with a silencer. You weren't used to it. It made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. The taller of the two gentlemen came charging towards you all, Dolores strikes him first. Knocking the wind clean out of him. Looking to you two, Dolores holds out the gun. "Stay on Liam, I'll handle him."
"You sure?" There was uncertainty in his voice and you couldn't really blame him.
"Take it, I won't need it."
Caleb looks between the two of you before running off down the stairs. "You should go too,."
You don't want to leave her but you nod just once. Hesitating at the stairs; you glance back at her. Was she going to be okay? You've seen her shoot two men before your very eyes but this was an entirely different ball game. Whatever they were talking about, you were too far away to hear but for a second your eyes meet and it was enough to put your mind at rest or at least to send you chasing after Caleb.
Deep breathes as you finally break out into the cold night air, hunched over as you calm yourself down. You're pretty good in heels but apparently not when you need to be because you almost slipped down the stairs. Luckily nobody was around to see you but it was still embarrassing. After a moment, you stand up straight and walk up beside the man. He had the gun held up at Liam's surprise guest. Seemed like everything was under control.
"You're helping her aren't you- Dolores," The stranger spoke slowly and clearly; a little cautiously if you will. "are you one of us?"
"One of us?" You repeat looking to Caleb with furrowed brows. "What does that mean?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," He growls. "Just give me the asshole and I will let you walk out of here."
With a nudge of his head, you take the hint but before you can even grab Liam he's calling out to someone. "Connells- the fuck took you so long."
Twisting around, you spy yet another gun; you were feeling very unprepared for this battle. Unsure of who he was pointing at, you back away a little in surrender. Flinching at the sound of gunfire but when your eyes open, it's to see him shoot the rest of his men. What was going on? The plan had changed so drastically.
"What the hell are you doing?" You know it's Liam. He's the only voice you weren't familiar with now but you don't dare to look. Focused in on the man with the gun.
"Don't you fucking twitch," The silver-haired Scott spat with a firm grip of his weapon. It was pointed in the same direction as Caleb's. You exchange a confused look with Caleb. Who were all these people? As the Scott drifts to Liam, you're quick to move out of the way.
"Run." Liam stumbles against the side of the vehicle; the rest of you too stunned to make a move. "Run, before I put a bullet in your pointy little head." His Scottish accent was thick which made him sound a little harsher than expected. Liam was hesitant, a little surprising for how cowardly he seemed, "fucking run!"
The fear was clear as Liam ran for his life; you were half expecting to witness a shooting but thankfully it never happened. Instead, his attention is drawn between you and Caleb. Guess he was on Liam's side after all.
"You better go after him," Or not. Caleb watches him and then turns to you; your shoulders rising up in the smallest of shrugs. You didn't need to be asked twice. Caleb is faster but you put that down to the fact he didn't have to put up with wearing heels all night as you jog along. You couldn't wait to trade them for a comfortable pair of boots.
"Leave me alone, I- I'll pay whatever you want." Rounding the corner, Caleb has Liam shoved up against the wall. The gun Dolores gave him being put to good use in front of his face.
"Oh yeah? Pay me with what, Huh, I have all your money."
"You do?" You question, Dolores had only filled you in on the plan but you were beginning to realise she had left a lot out.
"Who the fuck are you?"
"I'm with her," Caleb spoke, his gun falling to the side as he lets the poor guy relax. You'd be questioning him if it weren't for the whisk of blond that just sauntered past you. Dolores.
"Hello, lover."
Wait... lover?
