I'm glad you like the drawing. I wanted with it's help to thank you for all Tev and Dren stories. Over the years I got used to a thought that sooner or later you would post another heartwarming story about them or such an incredible panels as nightmares sequences or fight with Dagoth Ur. And maybe I shouldn't take it for granted but instead thank you for that. So - thank you :) Ps. I still hope to see one day a conversation between Dagoth Ur and Tevrani.

For today’s Inktober I thought that I would doodle @hyperionwitch-art‘s “Tev & Dren” from their Morrowind comic.  Tiz super cute & I love it too much!  (lol They look way better in their comic btw, I still have a lot to learn about line-art.)

OH! You guys should also go check out their original comic @aether-earth-and-sun I haven’t been able to finish it yet, but it’s pretty fun & mysterious so far!  :D

A redo! YEAH yeah I know I joke I only post comic redos on my birthday, but to be fair, Dren's birthday was on October 10th so...y'know...this is for his birthday. lol

Real talk, I've just had a real bug up my ass about the original Arkngthand comics (here and here) for a while now--they were some of the first comics I wrote, and when they didn't have any surrounding context it was fine, but now that I've done more set up, Dren seems like such a sad wet paper bag and Tev is extremely harsh for no reason. So! Here's a redo with some *extras*.

Well, it's been another 5 years of Tev and Dren (oh my god), so I have updated their references once again AND FINALLY made full refs of some of their other miscellaneous clothing! This has kinda been a long time coming, I started this on the old reference base and by the time I wanted to finish it, I wanted to update the bases as well lol.

I also did full body refs of them at assorted stages in the story, and I did (mostly) full breakdowns of all of their outfits. To save on space, I'm linking those galleries here, if that's something you're interested in~

You know the kind of conversations you have, late at night with a close friend, when you're tired enough to be uninhibited but you can't bring yourself to sleep just yet?

Yeah, I don't know, I got possessed by the spirit of yearning a few weeks ago, wrote a scene in a fugue, and then went feral turning it into a comic. But frankly I am always low-key thinking about Pining Kids, so really this should come as no surprise.

I've been re-reading your Tev/Dren comics and saw again how wrecked Tev's clothes got to warrant a new outfit during the Tribunal DLC. I know realistically, after Red Mountain, Tev likely went shopping for her new clothes in one of her casual outfits (after taking some time to heal ofc), but I find it funny to imagine her and Dren going clothing shopping immediately after defeating Dagoth Ur, f'd up clothes + blood and all.

HAH god, thank you Anon--to be honest, I think about Tev's post-fight clothes situation all the time (and will probably do ssssomething with that sometime down the road), and I loooove imagining what that scene would look like.
