It just hit me that I've never actually rewatched S10 properly since it aired, despite Bill being my second favorite New Who companion. I think her ending was so bittersweet that I needed a lot of time to process it. But then compared to how I've seen other gay characters stories ended recently, she kinda got a Disney end in comparison. I also wasn't a huge fan of Nardole (don't hate him, I just wish there wasn't so much of him when we already had Missy as a third wheel).
