One thing about working in a live community theatre, is that the most heart breaking thing is when you're working on a show with an actor who KILLS IT for their number that it's now the default version stuck in your head... and theres no official recording so once the run is over I'll never hear that version of the song again. Poetically tragic.

I watched FOOTLOOSE last night in a theater.

I was disappointed . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

in myself for not watching this masterpiece earlier. It's no Oscar winning film, but it didn't need to be. Just a down to earth blast to the 80's with young heart throb Kevin Bacon. I couldn't not share my top 5 favorite songs of the film on my Tumblr. I hope these songs fill your bodies with adrenaline, determination, and spirit for the week.
