Aurora Larson’s Timeline

1990; Age 0

October 23rd- Aurora Ophelia Larson is born to Katherine Anne Larson and Gustav Martin Larson Sr in McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She is born four years after her older brother Gustav Martin Larson Jr and two years after her sister Anne Katherine Larson.

1993; Age 3

August- Gustav hires a tutor to start to teach Aurora Spanish, how to play the recorder, read to Aurora, and to teach Aurora how read. Aurora picks up very little of what the tutor teaches- because she is a toddler.

August 17th- Bengt Martin Larson is welcomed to the family.

October- After some timely donations, Katherine manages to get Aurora enrolled early into pre-ballet classes.

1994; Age 4

May- Aurora’s family is taken to Italy where they live until early August. They do this every summer. (Four: Italy, Five: Brunei, Six: Switzerland, Seven: Antigua and Barbuda, Eight: Ghana, Nine: Moldova, Ten: Argentina, Eleven: United Arab Emirates, Twelve: Indonesia, Thirteen: Costa Rica, Fourteen: Kazakhstan, Fifteen: India, Sixteen: China, Seventeen: Russia, Eighteen: Sweden.)

August- Aurora starts a Montessori preschool.

1996; Age 6

August- Aurora starts at Cranbrook Schools.

1998; Age 8

October- Katherine starts Aurora in formal ballet training.

2001; Age 11

January- Gustav announces suddenly that the family is going to be moving to San Diego when the school year ends. He informs Aurora and her siblings that he thinks it’s a good thing for them to start to go to public schools. Gustav Jr. threatens to run away after this, but he does not follow through.

August- Aurora starts Meadowbrook Middle School. There she meets Natalie Wallace who also is interested in science and history. They quickly become best friends. As the months pass, Aurora starts to notice that Natalie is neglected like her parents not doing the paperwork for Natalie to get subsidized school lunches. Katherine drives Natalie home and embarrasses Natalie’s parents into doing the paperwork, but when summer comes around, the Larsons lose faith that the Wallaces will step up to the plate. The entire two months that Natalie was with them the Wallaces don’t call a single time. The Larsons clear out one of their guests rooms, and they make it into Natalie’s room. She is allowed to stay whenever she can, and the Larson’s start treating her like their daughter.

2003; Age 13

November- Bengt realizes that Aurora has an eating disorder, and he confronts her about it. Aurora admits that she has been eating less and working out a lot to keep up with other dancers in ballet for about a year. She promises to start eating again. Bengt tells her that if she doesn’t get better soon he’s going to tell their parents.

2004; Age 14

January- Bengt gets tired of waiting on Aurora to get better, and he tells his parents that Aurora has been hiding starving herself for about a year. Katherine pulls Aurora out of ballet immediately. Her parents request a week out of school, and they start her immediately on intensive therapy. While in therapy, she is diagnosed with Anorexia Athletica and Anorexia Nervosa.

May- Gustav Jr. moves out, and he starts going to college at Furman University.

2005; Age 15

August- Aurora and Natalie start Westview High School.

2006; Age 16

May- Anne starts Florida State College.

September- The Larsons find out that Anne eloped with a boy after she calls them from Turkey. They only hear from Anne every couple of years for money after this.

October: Tim Wallace is declared dead. The Wallace’s receive a large insurance payout.

2007; Age 17

May- Gustav Jr. drops out of college, and he enrolls in the military.

2008; Age 18

May- Aurora and Natalie all graduate from Westview High School. Aurora graduates as valedictorian with Natalie as the salutatorian. Natalie and Aurora graduate Summa Cum Laude. Immediately after they graduate, the girls all leave to Sweden where they all rent an apartment together and enjoy life away from their parents.

August- Aurora and Natalie start at Stanford. Natalie starts her Biology Degree, and Aurora starts dual degrees of Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Bachelors of Science in Biology. While she’s doing this, Aurora works on getting her Pharmacy Technician Certification.

2009; Age 19

August- Aurora gets her Pharmacy Technician Certification.

2010; Age 20

February: Danielle proposes to Natalie with a 3k Princess Cut Moissanite ring on Valentine's Day. Nat accepts the proposal, though she tells Aurora she isn't sure if she wants to get married.

May- Aurora and Natalie receive their Bachelors. Natalie gets a 520 on her MCAT, and she starts at the Sanford Medical School to get her M.D. Aurora starts working on a dual degree in both pharmacology and physiology.

2012; Age 22

November: Danielle disappears from Natalie’s apartment after years of fighting.

December- The Larsons find out that Gustav Jr. died in combat.

2014; Age 24

March: Natalie begins dating Alec Watson, an aspiring Musician, and Stanford Alum with an Undergraduate in Music. Aurora questions how quickly Nat moves on.

July: Alec and Nat move in together

October: Alec loses his job, stays unemployed, and focuses on making an album. Unable to cover his expenses, Nat essentially provides for both of them- to Aurora’s great displeasure.

December- Aurora starts teaching kids after school at a Boys and Girls Club about science.

2016; Age 26

Aurora graduates with her Ph.D in Pharmacology and Medical Degree. She immediately starts working for a local hospital to do research on medications.

2018; Age 28

November: After providing for Alec long enough, Nat ends her relationship with Alec. The break-up is quite messy, and eventually, the police have to escort Alec off the property, and Natalie is granted a restraining order.

2019; Age 29

March- While at a bar with Natalie, Aurora meets she meets a nurse named Tatiana Friedmann. They bond over their interest in science. They start talking every day.

April- Tatiana asks Aurora out romantically, and the same day asks Aurora to move in with her. Despite her friends concerns, Aurora agrees.

June- Tatiana and Aurora start getting into weekly fights about Aurora’s job.

September- Aurora steps down from teaching kids due to Tatiana’s complaints. Aurora starts to isolate herself from her friends.

2020; Age 30

April- Aurora has to take two weeks off of work (despite Tatiana’s complaints) due to what she thinks is a cold. She suffers from a mild fever, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and stomach pain. Despite still feeling unwell afterwards, she feels guilty for taking off of work due to Tatiana’s complaints and returns back to work.

May- Aurora thinks she gets her first migraine when she continues to suffer from a headache, but starts to become sensitive to other stimuli. Blakeboth begin to question if Aurora is sick with something that is not a cold. Aurora insists the migraine and cold are separate and ignores their concerns.

June- Despite years of being completely stable, Aurora relapses into her anorexia nervosa. Tatiana yells at her for being that selfish, so Aurora doesn’t inform Natalie about this. Late in the month, Aurora seeks out a mental health professional after she starts hearing voices telling her that she should harm herself.

July- Early into the month, Aurora agrees to go with her friends to the bar. However, when Natalie arrives at Aurora’s home to pick her up, she finds her hiding in the kitchen. Aurora begins insisting that ‘they’ are hiding in her attic, and that ‘they’ want to kill her because she didn’t work out the day before. Natalie immediately realizes something is wrong, and they call emergency services. While Natalie is explaining over the phone what is going on with her friend, Aurora slumps into the floor and has a seizure. Aurora is admitted to the local hospital where she quickly gets worse. Throughout the rest of the month, Aurora loses the ability to keep track of conversation, loses the ability to walk normally, and slowly she forgets who her parents are.

August- While in the midst of fighting with a nurse about her ‘pet raccoon’, Aurora starts to become breathless, and her oxygen drops. Aurora has to be put on oxygen. After this, Aurora becomes catatonic.

September- Early in the month, Natalie demands to get Aurora moved to a hospital that Tatiana does not work. After she is moved, Aurora’s fever spikes at 107.1, and she loses consciousness. This causes one of the doctors to get Aurora’s spinal fluid tested. They realize Aurora has Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis. At first Aurora starts to get worse, but slowly starts to get better.

October- Aurora returns to consciousness profoundly deaf. She is sent to a long term recovery facility where she has to learn sign language and learn to walk again.

November- While visiting Aurora at the long term treatment facility, Tatiana cries, because she feels that Aurora’s friends purposefully tried to make her look bad by getting Aurora moved to another hospital. She accuses Aurora of manipulating Natalie into hating her, and she dumps Aurora for being ‘toxic.”

2021; Age 31

May- One of Aurora’s friends texts a group chat that she can no longer stay silent, and she starts texting about how awful Aurora was for abusing Tatiana. She then blocks Aurora. Slowly, many of Aurora’s friends (other than Blake) start to distance themselves from her.

August- Aurora is able to walk enough with a cane enough that she returns back to her home in Stanford.

November- Aurora can walk on her own- though with pain if she walks too long. This pain never leaves her.

2022; Age 32

March- After years of ostracization, Aurora takes Natalie advice and she moves back to San Diego to get away from Stanford. She becomes a Professor at the University of San Diego.

September- Natalie, tired of California, begins to look for out-of-state jobs. Finding a location needing a Pediatric Surgeon in Laurel, Maine, Nat decides to apply. Shortly after the interview, she receives a job offer. After convincing Aurora that a fresh start is just what they both need, Aurora also takes a position at Sapphire Lake Hospital as a Plasma Scientist. The two women move to Laurel and rent a townhome.

He refused. Man it was like.. My heart swelled at that.

RESEARCH NOTES OF AURORA D'CANNITH: REGARDING MISS TENEBRAE (1.1k, Ophelia & Aurora)

@argonnessen its uno reverse time </3 road trip through the dread domains DOES kill me and they are very good and i hope i captured aurora's voice well enough. enjoy, they make me crazy

Entry I.

I met someone else in the mists today. She told me her name was Ophelia Tenebrae and it seems like we have a common goal. She's lost someone too. I don't know much about her yet; I'd like to, but nonetheless, this is what I've observed:

She has light grey hair, brown (almost red) eyes, and wears a white mask covering the lower half of her face. She's taller than me and has a strong physique.

Apparently, she was a woodcutter.

She's quiet. I'm not sure if she likes jokes. Or me for that matter, but she agreed to come with me. She seems more familiar with the mists or at least the outdoors than I am.

She called me Luce (?) when she saw me from behind. I think she was troubled that I was not who she was looking for. She looked sad, there might have been tears in her eyes.

Entry II.

Ophelia does not like to talk about herself. She dodges most questions and manages to redirect the conversation back to me until I'm at least fifteen minutes into an explanation about how wheel chains connect and intersect before I realize what she's done. She claims she doesn't have a sense of humor but I am certain she feels at least slightly smug when she knows she's tricked me.

She takes off her mask to sleep and when she drinks from her flask. (On that note; I don't think I've seen her eat.) Her face is softer than I expected. I don't know why she wears the mask. She's striking without it.

Entry III.

She saved my life today. We were walking along the edge of a steep ravine. The path was narrow and broke under my foot. I was going to fall, and if that didn't kill me, I certainly would've been picked off by something in the woods.

Ophelia grabbed my arm, laid hers across it, and pulled me back into her. She's strong, I mean, I knew that already, but I could feel her hand and chest shaking.

I'm not sure that touch is something she's accustomed to.

Entry IV.

It's been two and a half weeks and I am now wholly convinced that Ophelia does not eat. Or if she does, I don't know what and when. I asked her what was in her flasks and she told me "Bug Juice". I am 34% sure she's lying, 33% sure it might be a protein shake, and 33% sure she could be an alcoholic.

Entry V.

A Study of Ophelia's Eyebrows. Since she wears that mask (I still don't get it, she's very pretty, she does not need to hide her face underneath a mask but I digress), the way I have come to understand her moods is by looking at her eyebrows.

I've discovered 5 (?) moods.

Annoyed - Slight Furrow

Angry - Major Furrow

Confused - Quirked

Sad - Upturned and/or Furrowed

Pleasant (?) - could be anything, or maybe this is just neutral.

In any case, anything and everything will cross over. If I've made her happy or amused, she reacts with confusion first because she has problems.

Entry VI.

I've known for a couple of weeks now that Ophelia sometimes leaves camp at night. She's usually quiet, but I've noticed. She does come back. I was worried the first time she was leaving for good. I know better than to ask her about it. I think she would tell me if she thought it was important to our travels. I don't want to scare her off, not when it feels like we've made progress in understanding and trusting each other. I don't want to travel alo

She's not as closed off as she was. She does have a sense of humor, it's dry, but it's there. I think she's growing to like my company. I like hers.

Entry VII.

She plays the cello.

I told her about Ripley.

Entry VIII.

It's been a long day. I don't know how to explain it but I feel like I need to write something just so I'm not up all night. We were ambushed by some sort of undead, a vampire spawn (? is there a difference?) and it seemed fixated on attacking Ophelia. I couldn't line up a clean shot without hitting her until it was on top of her and she was bleeding out. I hate how it felt, I hate how scared I was.

I killed it, but there was so much blood. Ophelia's glowing white blood. I don't know why it's like that. I thought it was some sort of magic but she wasn't holding her weapon. She wasn't fighting. She was barely conscious bleeding out, bleeding light.

I healed her, somewhat; I used my magic to stabilize her. She flinched and I heard her say, pained, the name Luce again. I don't think she was fully herself.

I don't know why I said it or did it, I am finding that I care a lot for her. I told her that I wasn't Luce, but that I was here. She let me hug her for a moment. She was trembling again.

She's resting now. We haven't really spoken since.

Entry IX.

It's been a day since my last entry. I didn't have a chance to write last night or during the day, we've been talking about what happened. It- A lot more about Ophelia Tenebrae makes sense to me now. I don't know why I didn't put the pieces together sooner.

She tried to sneak away last night. But she was so wounded and I didn't want her to go out and hurt herself so I got up and asked her to stay. If I could help.

Her head snapped to look at me. She didn't have her mask, there was something different about her eyes. They were brighter, redder, hungrier. When she opened her mouth to speak, it was half a snarl, I could see her fangs. She sounded terrified and begged me to stay back, stay where I was, and just let her go.

I did. But I wanted to help. I don't know how to help. She's obviously suffering. It's now easy for me to see how difficult it is for her, why she feels so closed off, why she's scared. I don't know if I can imagine what it would feel like.

I want to tell her that it doesn't matter to me. That she is wonderful regardless. I don't know if she would believe me.

Ophelia told me about Luce.

about dilan.

Born as a first generation American-Turkish daughter of two marine biologists that constantly traveled around, Dilan couldn’t recall a moment in her childhood where she had a defined routine. The oldest of three, and the only biological child of the couple, she had to take responsibilities really early on whenever their parents would be gone for long periods of time. She surely didn’t blame them for having to work or having a career they were so passionate about, and it’s not even as if they were bad parents as they were actually pretty loving when they were around, but she just wished they could’ve been more mindful about the fact they also had three kids at home that needed them.

When Dilan was just seventeen, both of her parents died in a helicopter accident and the custody of her youngest siblings were basically thrown on the still underage woman. Even if she had taken care of them for most of her life, raising them more than their parents did, it still all felt too overwhelming, too much for her to handle, but she was able to push those feelings aside in order to step up for them.

That pretty much defined the person she would become later on—the one that constantly puts other people’s needs above her own, though she rarely sees that as a bad thing. She likes having a compassionate and caring soul, even if it’s something that tires the life out of her at times.

As the years passed and the three Sunar children grew older, Dilan was able to focus on her passions without having to worry much about her siblings. She traveled around for a while, trying to find herself. Having lost all of her teenage years by being the most responsible version of herself, she became more impulsive, reckless, eager to try all the things she had missed out on. That lead to some pretty awful life choices but at least she was able to collect some funny stories to share for shock value in bars or at the counter of the record store.

The opportunity to settle down somewhere came when her best friend moved to Roswell and, seeing as she needed a place to grow roots in, Dilan decided to follow her there, moving to a town that reminded her of the one she had grown up in. The impulsiveness, however, is something that stuck to her like a plague and that’s what lead to the decision of buying Feel Good Records when she knew close to nothing about how to run a business. Clearly, she’s struggling and always two seconds away from breaking down in tears, but hey! At least she’s trying and doing something that actually makes her happy, seeing as without all the responsibilities, she really does enjoy being the owner of the store.

Location | Malnati - 9.30am.

Ophelia had been up early, far earlier than she had really wanted but her brain wouldn’t switch off and so she had decided to be useful, reading up on things, checking over bits for work, getting herself showered and changed. Today her usual ripped jeans and crop tops were no where to be seen and instead she was dressed in a simple matching pant and jacket, a white t-shirt underneath as to not look too formal. A healthy balance of take me serious, but I’m not here to kiss you ass she liked to thing. Her meeting with Ronan Washington today had the potential to have a lot of potential for her both personally, and for her family. Her real concern though, was making sure Davut got what he needed from this. Having sent the said male to Malnati to make sure it was open especially for them and the table ready, not that she expected anything less given the money they had been given yesterday, Ophelia had made her way to meet Mr Washington. Checking him and his guard over Ophelia made small talk as they made the short walk from where their car was parked nearer the edge of their territory, towards the pizzeria. “Honestly thank you again for doing this, it’s going to mean more to him than he’s going to let on.” Ophelia smiled as she lead him inside where she was happy to see Dav waiting for her. “Mr Washington, this is my partner Davut.” Boyfriend seemed a little too jovial for this meeting. God she hoped he could help, it wasn’t that she didn’t trust the family lawyers, she just didn’t trust something wouldn’t get back to Allegra, and Aurora was gone, so she’d searched out the next biggest person she could think of.

it wasn’t until fred inherited the family business that he realized just how much his father did. when the frederickson torch was initially passed to him, he nearly fumbled it. lucky for fred, his mother had been there to help him with the balancing act that was his newfound responsibility. you’re ready, his father had assured him from his deathbed. and he was, for the do - gooding. for the superheroing, for the core values of what made his father’s style of business so unique. the rest, however, was a bit harder to adapt to. fred wanted to be LIKE his dad - not a carbon copy of him or his work.

but with such a workload came sacrifice. he knew from the beginning, even before he had a family, that it would be that way. no matter how much fred denied it - business rang, business grabbed him by the wrist and yanked him out the front door for weeks at a time. and as important as making money and continuing the frederickson work ethic was to him, making sure he didn’t create a distance within his family came first. fred implemented a set of rules early on in his refurbishment: be home to lay down next to ophelia, be home to pick kace up from school, be home to tuck aurora in. write a new agenda to BE HOME as much as possible.

still, as much as he’s managed to overturn his father’s memory of not being around, there remain moments ( long moments. weeks, even. ) where he’ll have to bid his family goodnight over the phone. fred’s already done so hours ago when his phone rings AGAIN, something he finds curious. he expects it to be hiro; maybe an update on the team and what he’s missed on night patrol, but is instead faced with his daughter’s contact picture lighting up his screen. he takes a moment to admire it before answering. immediately, aurora’s teary voice meets his ear, and fred rises from his hotel bed to pace - as if walking back and forth will make her easier to understand. as she goes on about monsters and nightmares, he feels guilt settle in his chest. this guilt that ophelia doesn’t have a partner to fall back on, this guilt that he isn’t there to wrap aurora in his arms and assure her in person that everything is alright. the last thing he wants is for her to be like HIM; young and scared, young and alone, young and wondering when her daddy will ever come home.

“ hey, rory. hey - it’s okay. i know nightmares are really scary. ” fred coos into the receiver. it isn’t until he’s able to speak that he realizes just how close he’s holding the phone, coddling it as if he was swaddling a baby. such notice makes him emotional, but he swallows it down to comfort his daughter as best he can despite the distance between them. “ - do you want me to stay on the phone with you for a little ? ooh, i know ! tell me ALL about your day with mommy and aunt jules, princess. ”

name: pre-vampire: Aurora Jade Monroe

post-vampire: Scarlett Ophelia Cullen

appearance: She is 5'7, long curly red hair, and is pale because of ginger genetics plus when you're a vampire, you get hella pale !! She's 18 but can pass for anywhere between 15 - 20, for immortal reasons. When she was a human she had freckles and was sad to see that they had disappeared after she was turned. Lucky for her, she can still draw them on if she'd like to. As a human, her eyes were green but as a vampire they are an amber-almost-honey color. She really is into fashion (which is one of the many reasons why she became best friends with Alice) so she always wears hella cute clothing and even has dabbled into making some of her own (though shes not very good at that but hey shes trying)

personality: ENFP, though she considers herself to be more of an ambivert. When she needs time to herself, she goes off into the forest and sings to herself or listens to music. She gets a long with people very well as long as theyre good people. Though she considers herself to be a strong person, looking back on her human life, she did consider herself to be a bit of a dormat. Shes taking this oppurtunity at a new life to reinvent herself for the better. She decided to start that with changing her name. Though she didn't hate her human name, she felt that her old self is dead and that this would not only help her move on from her old life but to be able to better herself. She had loved the name Ophelia ever since she saw Hamlet. She made it her middle name since it sounded too old to be her first name. The name Scarlett had always just sounded so lovely to her so she was immediately drawn to it. She wants to live her new life with a love-filled heart but to always make sure to not let people step on her, which she is working on the latter.

hobbies: singing, drawing, reading, writing, getting vintage stuff (like from a lot of different eras), trying to learn how to sew and make clothes

diet: vegetarian with the accidental human a few times when she was a newborn

How they became a vamp: She was turned by Carlisle when she was 18. She hadn't been careful while in the woods and fell into a ditch where she hit her head on a rock.

How they fit into the plot: She is turned right before they move to a new town and because shes a ginger, she can easily pass as Edward's twin sister

vampire superability: She has telekinesis

Best friend: Alice !!!!

significant other: For right now, none, but maybe in the future Rosalie or maybe Jasper. This would have to be a universe where whoever it would be, didn't already have a s/o cause we don't stan affairs in the Cullen house

Fun fact: She used to have to wear glasses and contacts when she was a human but now that shes a vampire, she doesn't need them but she liked how her glasses looked so she sometimes wears the frames still cause theyre hella cute!! Shes thankful though thay her vampirism cured her migraines though cause she used to get those a lot growing up. She also misses her family and felt bad about having to leave them

10. What is a small thing that one another does to make their partner happy?

Emily is super happy whenever Peter brings her candy just because “oh I just bought an extra one and thought you might want it,” while Peter loves when Emily always waves excitedly to him when she sees him from across the room (its not big but the fact she always makes time to say hi to him even when she’s busy, it means a lot to him).

Clara is never going to be X-Men material, meaning she doesn't have the same morality the others have and doesn’t agree on everything they believe. So she’s definitely going to struggle when she’s with the X-Men and will stray more than a few times.

Okay, so this one was hard for me because (slight spoiler alert) I always intended for them to not have children. But you know, accidents happen.

Name: Ophelia Aurora Black-Pierce

Gender: Female

General Appearance: She has light gray eyes, and light brown hair just like her mother. While she leans a lot more towards her mother’s looks, some of her facial structures are very similar to her fathers.

Personality: She’s very bold and bright, and it takes a lot to scare her. She had a lot of nerve and doesn’t let anything stop her from achieving what she wants. She tries to stick to the sidelines to avoid getting unwanted attention but that doesn’t always work out with her very outgoing personality.

Special Talents: She’s very good with animals, almost like she has a special bond with them and has expressed interest in pursuing a career involving them. Once she learned what an Animagi, Ophelia told her mom she wants to become one as soon as she is of age, which surprised Evangeline (and it honestly shouldn’t, seeing who Ophelia’s father is).

Who they like better: She prefers Evangeline, partially because she has spent more time with her than Sirius. They’re very close, being very open with each other and sharing many interests in common. Ophelia thinks highly of her mother a lot and often tries to imitate her.

Who they take after more: In looks, they basically could be the clone of Evangeline, but in personality its mixture of both. She has Evangeline’s hatred toward waking up early and bluntness. She’s inherited Sirius mischief, loyalty, and bravery. Evangeline wouldn’t be surprised if Ophelia would be sorted to Gryffindor.

Personal Headcanon: Sirius always made it clear he wanted to break his family tradition of naming their children after constellations, but with Evangeline’s love for astronomy, he allowed for the middle name. It took him a minute to realize that his daughter’s first name was also after a moon from one of the planets but he had grown to love that name, so he didn’t fight Evangeline about it.

Take Care by Beach House. Hazel heard it one time in a coffee shop and ever since then, she has not been able to find a song that has made her feel like that warm and loved like that song did.
