So, about a week now ago I started a heavily modded Stardew farm. Specifically on August 16th. On this first post I will include what mods I am using as well as a quick catch up of some major events as I am currently in mid Fall, right after the Stardew Valley Fair.

So starting with is the mod list shown here in these 6 images.

Next up is the list of characters which I used Tier List Maker to make.

For major events. There really hasn’t been much. Because of the Reremixed Bundles mod, I only have the bus done for the community center. Also because of the amount of mods, it will take me a while to experience everything and so I am taking my time with the game.

I don’t even have a house upgrade or the coop. But I have a silo and the horse.

I also have eight hearts with Sterling from East Scarp and he is my highest hearts villager second being Mr. Ginger with 6 and Caroline and Eloise with 5.

I have completed 2 special orders being Willy’s gather but meat and Beatrice needing refined quartz. Although I don’t know if the reward has been added to that special order as the mod is still being finished.

I also have the Wild Cat Cave thanks to a mod for the Farm Cave.

I’m honestly really excited to play more, and I’ll try to update this when I can.

Speaking of the sims expect an update on that by the end of the week. I haven’t played much since starting Stardew so it will be on pause after this next update but it will continue in the future, I will also probably be adding new blogs soon too, it all depends. I apologize if my blogs aren’t the best as I am new to Tumblr and the blogging scene but I am excited to learn and hopefully grow this by just simply talking about what I love.

Sterling's Birthday

Honestly, one of the things that saddens me most about SDV 1.6 is the way it killed Custom Gift Dialogues. I realize that it's now incorporated into the base code (I think), but it's led to some of the modded NPCs' reactions to gifts to become rather... borked. Immersive Shane is a prime example of this, and I knew that going in.

I was unprepared for Sterling to also be affected, though. :-(

(Once again, let me stress that this is not in any way a complaint or dig at the people who create mods. You don't see my ass out there making mods, and I can only imagine the complexity and headaches of updating them when new versions of Stardew come out.)

One of the things I had made a point of while romancing Sterling was to hold off on giving him sunflowers, as I adore his reaction to getting them as a birthday present--especially if it's the first time you've given him flowers.

(Spoiler: Chapter 10 of Choices: Summer will deal with that very thing.)

Unfortunately, all I got was his generic 'loved' response to the gift. Sigh.

There was a bit of excitement, however, as this popped up:

Finally going to get the green rain event! Huzzah!

But then this conversation happened after I gave Sterling his sunflower...

And I'm not gonna lie, I panicked that I'd misjudged the dates when proposing to Sterling. The whole, 'what counts as three days?' conundrum. It turned out fine, but boy did I spend about an hour IRL on pins and needles.

I started playing (modded) Stardew Valley recently, and it's been really fun! I drew some very rough art of my character and their various escapades

That one of Elliot was a gift for my sister. He's her favourite character & I saw this meme and it was too perfect LMAO

I also want to dropkick Shane into being less of an asshole and taking better care of himself. Like I'm concerned for him but in a violent way /j

So far I'm absolutely loving Mateo from the East Scarpe mod, they're my lad. I also love Sen from that mod set!!

My character's name is Mona (Yeah it was weird when I found out about the grave...) and if the outfit choices aren't enough to tell you, they're a witch. Thus why I'm playing modded. I wanted them to be able to do magic >:)))) Also like. Gender neutral pronouns and platonic relationships.

Mona showed up in town and was immediately like "I know who I want to be friends with first: the weird old men and the cryptids".
