Michael reaches up just barely over the bed, holding a handmade paper crown in his hands. The background of the panel is filled with ‘oink’ and he looks very excited. Ranboo looks at him with pride.

The next panel shows him putting the crown on, Michael in his arms and Tubbo looking at them fondly.

Ranboo looks down at his son who leans into him for a hug.

Ranboo: You made this for me?

Michael: oink!

Ranboo: I love it

Phil: Techno helped

Techno looks bashful. He crosses his arms and looks away while Phil looks at him smugly.

Techno: You can’t prove anything

Ranboo is so happy he could cry. He holds Michael with one arm, his son hugging onto it and looking very happy.

The majority of the page is taken up by Ranboo’s point of view. Techno and Phil stand next to each other next to the bed, Phil’s wing wrapped around Techno. Tubbo sits cross-legged at the end of the bed. Michael is in the foreground - only his head and his hands are visible. They all look happy.

AU where, when Ranboo fell down the egg trap, Techno and Puffy were unable to save him and he gets corrupted. Because honestly I'm sick of the egg being completely ineffective at corrupting people. Literally the only person who was corrupted after being trapped in the egg was Skeppy, and that was forever ago and mostly to establish the egg's powers. So many people have been trapped and just walked it off I want the eggpire to be threatening please

The Eggpire can have one captured person. As a treat.

Welp. We get angst now. We get so much angst.

Ranboo is now egg-controlled and man, now everything is going to go sideways.

Ranboo looks confused.

The next panel (on the next page) is him holding the grass block, looking down at it. His pupils have dilated slightly.

Ranboo then looks happy, still holding the block.

Ranboo: This is nice.

Techno and Phil look excited.

Ranboo: It'd be better if it was red and covered in vines though…

Techno is devastated, turning away. Phil pats him on the back.

Phil, quietly: there, there

Phil: Anyway! Did you read your book?

Ranboo: Yep!

Ranboo crosses his arms, looking directly forward. His one red eye glows menacingly, and his speed goes from black in colour to red.

Ranboo: I should have joined the egg sooner. Past me was a nervous wreck, now the egg just makes all my decisions for me!

Techo and Phil both look upset. They start leaving.

Techno: Come on, Phil. We’ll try again tomorrow

The next page is one large image, showing the outside of Techno’s house. Ranboo is climbing out of the window, a smirk on his face. Unbeknownst to him, Phil’s crows are watching him leave. Further back, just outside the door, stand Techno and Phil. Phil holds Techno’s face in a comforting manner while Techno looks upset.

Back at the start of the egg arc it was shown that holy water from church prime can cure the egg’s infection. That’s why the hazmat suits are kept there

His speech is in red text and he’s yelling. The next frame shows Michael in his arms as he holds a dagger-like vine to his son’s neck. Michael stays asleep.
