Since I have gotten more attention than I expected on this (read: literally any attention whatsoever) lemme throw together all the info I have so far on Steve:

So it starts, as all things do, with @nullvoidface making a watcher OC. Said OC is the Cardinal mentioned above and you can see his own ID card here. Void is the one responsible for the idea of watching being more like an office job

Then he made the mistake of saying everyone should make a watcher or listener OC. Steve was thus born from me poking fun at all the fanon purple watcher symbolism

I am now devastated that noone (including me) noticed his name was originally Simon. Anyway, Void then decided to put a bunch of OCs into a death game

And then, because it was funny, I filled out a hermitcitizen ID for him
