i already liked Amarys and Carmine's relationship (as Drayton says, they click in a weird way) but something that's really interesting is that i think Carmine is, whether she's doing it on purpose or not, trying to emulate Amarys. Carmine gets mad at the player making her wait, Amarys puts a lot of importance on punctuality and time. Carmine always tells you to "get into position" before a battle, Amarys has her "let's assume our battle positions" and "position assumed" lines. even their uniforms... all the other Elite Four members have little additions to their uniforms (even Kieran has his jacket over the school shirt and tie), but Amarys just has the "blue top, blue pants" version of the Blueberry uniform... and so does Carmine.

from Carmine's official art i kind of assumed she'd be a cool stoic character and that turned to be totally offbase, but i wonder if that's in part to her trying to be "cool" like Amarys is

Blueberryclan Faction Leaders

In Blueberryclan, some cats become designated leaders for an Island Trial that every apprentice or visiting warrior alike may participate in if they wish to become an official warrior for BBclan! Each cat owns a faction of the island, having miniature clan camps so they don't have to travel all the way back to the base camp.

Each cat specializes in their own trial, chosen by not only the leader but the deputy by the will of Crystals.

I don't have full details on it, yet, as I am still plotting the Island and what each trial would be like, but here are their concepts! I'm really satisfied with how these turned out 👀

Kieran and Carmine are both woodcutting saw Weapons :thumbsup: im thinking kieran only gets his weapon form initially during the equivalent of teal mask but struggles to soul resonate with anyone . Then indigo is him trying to reach death scythe status alone with no Meister. Amarys Carmine duo bc friendship is real YAHOO. ill try and soul eater-ify their outfits another time this was just weapon doodles mainly lol

No Champion teaser, huh?

This is definitely Kieran with the oversized jacket and glove, and him becoming Champ of the BB League does fit with his fixation on getting stronger than the player. But I wonder at what point we fight him again, since I think beating him as the Champ, especially with him holding a grudge towards us like he is now, would only make him more mad and resentful, like to what lengths, just how far does he need to go and seek out the power to defeat us?
