girllll where’d you post your 1D fanfiction? Is it still somewhere in the internet? 👀

it was on an old website called onedirectionfanfiction(dot)com. i think whoever owned the url rights didn't renew them, so literally everything on there (and we're talking over 50,000 fanfics) just disappeared overnight with no warning.

i still have mine though, buried in my old e-mail attachments and in the files of my old laptop. it holds up way better than i expected, but it's still very much has a "yes, a teenager definitely wrote this" vibe.

it was a louis/oc/liam fic where harry was also kinda into the oc. liam was endgame, louis was a very "the heirs"-esque second lead who enemies-to-loversed with oc. all very dramatic. niall was the chill best friend who didn't involve himself with the drama. zayn was old bestie-bros with liam but hated harry. harry had his own romance going on with another character but was afraid to commit, so his flirtations with oc was a form of self-sabotage he eventually recognises and grows out of.

it was all very soap-opera.

I just learned that Hallmark has a new movie called "You're Bacon Me Crazy" about a food truck competition. Seems up your alley! :)

Oh yeah! Dave And Jeb Aren’t Mean did an episode covering it! I keep meaning to find and view it, but Hallmark movies aren’t usually put up on torrent the way more mainstream TV movies often are. It’s about a woman who runs a sandwich truck Enemies-To-Loversing with a guy who runs a bacon truck. 

It’s actually based on a YA novel in which the teenage helper from the movie is actually the main protagonist, which, well, that checks out. :D 

I really can’t recommend the podcast Dave And Jeb Aren’t Mean highly enough if you enjoy the silliness of Hallmark films, or even if you just like a bit of cultural satire and are looking for something new for your earholes. It’s two very smart journalists gently taking apart Hallmark Christmas movies, and there’s a liberal sprinkling of politics and sports as well. Really fun listening.
