Some things I found out after I started getting into MBTI (ENTJ observations) pt.2

INFP put aside their true thoughts because they feel like everyone deserves a chance to speak up except them. Extremely infuriating, yes, and making them look like they have no personality.

INFJ are the Obi-Wan Kenobi's of MBTI. A stereotype going strong, I guess.

ENTJ gets along with INFJ but it has to be in a setting where we, ENTJs, can't assume active leadership, meaning we must be calm which is not exactly easy, but also not a hard thing to achieve.

ISFJs can be men, apparently. I thought only women got that type, well, I guess not. Explains why dad sometimes finds me uncontrollable and aggressive. He's a teddy bear with a shield that I constantly hit, when I'm angry.

ESTJs, ISTJs & INTJs are the most competent, efficient and thinking types. A true pleasure to work with, in a team.

INTJs do tend to have great ideas and withhold them, but with proper encouragement and a good approach towards their pride, ego and mindset, projects result in being outstanding.

INTPs can make ENTJs laugh too hard in serious situations, and it's a gigantic problem.

ENTPs are so viciously entertaining, that sometimes it's too much to handle which makes people generally dislike their "The Greatest Showman" type of attitude.

ISTPs are very, very mysterious individuals. It's hard for me to know what they are thinking which makes them unpredictable and I dislike surprises.

ESTP + ISTP = power combo

ESTP + ISTP + ENTP however = a destructive combo

Never partner an ENFP with an ENTP. It's either going to be a huge success or Hiroshima all over again and the odds fall mostly towards the latter scenario.

ENTJs absolutely detest repetitiveness of mistakes, whether it's our own or of others.

If ENTJ lays and mops around the couch all day, then something is very dreadfully wrong.

you're funny and joke about everything with him. oh, someone fell out of a tree? oops, you guys are literally on the floor.

you guys never have a dull moment. you always have something to talk about, and your conversations usually end up lasting hours.

physical touch is biggg for you guys. it's rare to see you guys not hugging or being close in some way.

he loves your outfits. no matter what you wear, though, he will be completely infatuated by you but he does like seeing you in dresses.

you guys are constantly texting. it's kind of funny how much battery is wasted, even though you two are in the same room.

you will have an assignment that was given at the beginning of the week, and you're finishing it literally morning of. and then you get a perfect score.

you guys spend a lot of time outside together. whether that's looking for cats in sidewalks, going to playgrounds and parks, or finding a lake and skipping rocks together. you guys definitely feed the ducks, too.

you kiss him a lot. he definitely doesn't mind—he welcomes it. while, of course, throwing in a few teasing phrases.

you guys make a lot of dirty jokes together. it's crazy you guys haven't been reported to the police for the amounts of looks you guys have gotten.

you guys collect stuff for each other. you collect stamps and he collects rocks, so you guys trade each other stuff. if someone doesn't have enough to trade, you pay in affection.

you guys climb on stuff a lot. it's a normal occurrence to see you guys on the roof or hanging off a window of a 6-floor tall apartment building.

What are your opinions about Intj and infp relationship? Just curious. Coz' Intj's are usually said to be most compatible with enfp but I personally think that Intj x infp would make a great couple because of introversion trait being common. They both need space and can indulge in deep conversations.

Hey intj here, personally agree that an established infp x intj works good cause as you said, their dominant functions (Fi and Ni respectively) are both introverted so neither of them rlly get overwhelmed or tired out by each others presence and they can create this safe space between them that allows for some deep wholesome conversations . Also allows for a really comfortable relationship , like the type where they understand each other without words, recognize the sounds of the other's footsteps, know the other's answer before even asking the question, have those comfortable silences which kinda fill up the room but in a good way as it also fills up your heart .

I think the only issue is actually establishing the relationship in the first place. When it comes to acc starting convos and clicking tgth..neither of them are gonna be be keen to make the first move so it can be hard to initially bond as both may be hesitant to open up to each other (unlike what happens with enfp x intj where enfp is j there spilling their life story on the first meeting). Can also see the issue of communication coming up between them, as infp might need some encouragement to talk about their feelings and thoughts but intjs aren't rlly the type to pry so may not know when that encouragement is needed.

I’m also an INFP and I feel not as much that I need to have control over my emotions, but more that I need to be able to understand and acknowledge them. I also feel that my area of control may be with communication - not that I need to be in control of conversations, but more that I need to know what I can expect from them. (x) an IxxJ, has mentioned that she likes to have control over her physical environment and she achieves that by keeping things neat and tidy, etc. If her physical surroundings are in order, it gives her a sense of inner stability and security. (x) xNTJ's to be the sort that are controlling of future outcomes and tasks. (x) ENFJ here. I would say my control lies in my relationships, especially romantic ones. I have to have control and when I don't, my anxiety is killer. I like control over finances. I like control over vacations and date nights and anniversary dinners, which is often my spontaneous side showing out. I like to have control in the overall relationship; KNOWING everything at any given time. If I don't know where we stand when first start dating, it drives me insane. If I don't know how someone is feeling in regards to me or because of me, it drives me insane. (x)

19 Signs That You’re an INFJ

1. From a young age, you felt different from the people around you

When you were young, you had plenty of friends but you never felt like you truly fit in. Sometimes you faked being more like them so they would accept you, but deep inside you felt that it’s not right.

2. You want to know what’s really going on in people’s lives

Not just trivial stuff like what they did this weekend or what they bought on their latest shopping trip. You want to dig deep and get at the things that no one else sees. What does the person in front of you really think? How does this person really feel? The fake facade they put up for other people doesn’t fool you.

3. Plans

You feel more comfortable having a loose plan for things than you do completely winging it.

4. You’re social, but you are not really social

You can be both incredibly shy, quiet, and withdrawn, as well as charming, fun, and hilarious. It’s all about the situation, your mood, and energy levels, and most important, the people you’re with.

5. How you handle problems

When someone comes to you with a problem, you usually don’t give them advice or your opinion unless they ask. Instead, you ask them questions to help them better understand the situation and their own feelings about it. Sometimes you tell a story of a time when something similar happened to you, in the hope that they’ll draw their own lesson. You feel like you can usually see the path they should take, but you don’t want them to do it just because you told them to. You want it to be their decision.

6. There are limits to your introversion

You are an introvert and you like alone time, but you can’t be alone for too long. Eventually you need to reunite with your people. “Your people” are a handful of good friends who truly get you. It can be just one person as well. Deep conversations with these people are priceless, and hanging out with them can actually boost your energy.

7. The door slam

You’ve been known to suddenly cut people out of your life when they’ve hurt you one too many times. It’s not that you enjoy cutting people out, rather, you do this simply to protect yourself. Even though you may look like you have it together on the outside, you’re extremely sensitive inwardly, and you’re especially sensitive to other people’s words and actions.

8. You can be a people-pleaser

Sometimes you try so hard to make other people happy that you forget to make yourself happy.

9. Empathy

You often feel like you see precisely what someone else is feeling, and you believe you know what they need deep down. You’re not always right, but you tend to be more perceptive than most.

10. You have a destiny

You feel like you’re destined for so much more than just dragging yourself to your 9-5 job to pay the bills. You want to help people and change the world & not just get a paycheck. The problem is you either don’t know what your “glorious purpose” is, or you have an inkling, but you don’t know how to achieve it.

11. Always striving

You almost always have this sinking feeling like you could be doing better with your life. This results in you constantly have secret self-improvement projects going on, like learning how to cook healthy meals, setting better boundaries, or getting better at articulating yourself. Sometimes you push yourself too hard as you attempt to achieve your “perfect” life.

12. Your defence mechanism

Sometimes you turn to people-pleasing to protect yourself. You’re sensitive, so you can get really bothered when someone criticizes you or is disappointed in you. They can’t criticize you if you make them happy.

13. You sense things

You often immediately sense the mood of a room when you walk into it. Likewise, you often absorb the feelings of the people around you. If they’re excited, you get excited. If they’re anxious, you get anxious, too. You tend to gravitate toward calm, centered people so you don’t have to deal with as much emotional garbage.

14. Nothing but class

You’re drawn to high-quality things, like good food, nice clothes, and anything else that has good craftsmanship. As much as you hate to admit it, the way things look is important to you. You like being surrounded by beauty, and you tend to have sophisticated, refined tastes. But you’re a minimalist at heart. You’d rather have one or two really nice shirts than ten mediocre ones.

15. Your secret feelings

You care deeply about the people in your life, but they’ll probably never know just how much you care, because you keep your feelings mostly to yourself. You can have trouble articulating your emotions, even though you feel them intensely.
