Summary: You were pretty busy but that didn’t stop your boyfriend from trying to get your attention.

Note: My first Epex imagine, and I obviously had to write for my bias wrecker. 🤭

“Y/N, Y/N, sweetieee.” Your boyfriend kept calling you.

“Love, I’m busy.” You didn’t even look away from your computer. A half-written essay was in front of you.

“But I want your attention.” He made puppy eyes.

“I know, but I need to finish this. I promise I’ll be with you once I’m done.”

“But it’ll take a long timeeee and I want cuddles right now.” He pouted and whined.

He was sitting on a chair which was located in front of your desk, while you were on your bed, resting against the headboard.

“I’m half-way done, baby. I’ll finish soon.”

He just pouted, making you almost give in.

“Why don’t you just take a break and finish it later?”

“We literally spent the day together, and when I finally started writing you convinced me to take a break.” You raised an eyebrow, causing him to giggle.

“Whoops, I forgot about that.”

You rolled your eyes playfully.

After that there was silence, which was weird since Keum was always talking. You shrugged and continued working. That was until you felt your bed dip and your right arm heavier.

“Love, what are you doing?” You looked down at him.

“Nothing, sweetie.” He looked at you innocently.

“Mhm.”

He wrapped his arms around your waist and snuggled more into your arm, making you smile. You gave him a kiss on the forehead.

“I love you, babe.”

“I love you too, sweetheart.”

He fell asleep shortly after that, giving you a chance to finish your homework. Thankfully, it didn’t take you more than 30 minutes.

Once you were done, you closed your computer and placed it on the nightstand beside you. You took yours and your boyfriend’s glasses and put them there as well.

You got under the covers and adjusted Keum on your chest, since he liked laying there. You looked at him lovingly.

“Good night, my love.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Desde muito pequena, Rine nunca acreditou em amor. Viveu em um lar caótico, em meio a brigas e discussões por motivos banais. Rine cresceu vendo o casamento de seus pais ruir, cada dia mais e mais, e o que uma pequena garotinha poderia fazer além de apenas assistir seu lar desmoronando?

Traições perdoadas, brigas infundadas, Rine cresceu ouvindo das mais diversas histórias. Pessoas interesseiras, desesperadas ou obsessivas. Aquilo era o amor? O amor era tão maldoso? Ele realmente existia?

A jovem passou toda sua vida crendo na inexistência de tal sentimento. Pensava que as pessoas sentiam era apenas algo carnal, ficavam juntos por convivência, por necessidade, mas não amor. Rine era cética, não acreditava em muitas coisas até ter uma prova, e não havia uma prova de que o amor romântico entre duas pessoas existisse de fato.

Nos livros, a jovem encarava tudo como histórias de fantasia. Ora, quem iria sentir borboletas no estomago? Quem iria se arrepiar ao ver alguém? Quem iria realmente ter uma leve taquicardia ao ver alguém?

Amor era uma fraude. Amor era uma ilusão. Amor era apenas uma fantasia.

Mesmo depois de adulta, Rine nunca se apaixonou. Não era uma psicopata, ou uma narcisista sem sentimentos, era uma forma de se proteger e não acabar como seus pais, afinal, o amor não existia.

Rine gostava de trabalhar com música, não era uma cantora, apenas gostava de externalizar seus sentimentos através de letras melancólicas ou muitas vezes agressivas.

Todavia, a vida muitas vezes tem suas coincidências, algumas para o bem, já outras, nem tanto.

Donghyun era um garoto de outra turma, mas que por ironia do destino, acabou cruzando o caminho da jovem de cabelos de fogo. Keum não era diferente dela, não eram opostos, pelo contrário, tinham mais em comum do que poderiam imaginar.

Foi preciso apenas poucas conversas para que se aproximassem. Rine era tímida, fechada e individualista, porém Keum mesmo assim decidiu firmar uma amizade com ela.

Rine acreditava que era feliz estando sozinha, mas tinha que admitir, acabou perdendo aquela batalha.

Aquele frio na barriga, os arrepios e os corações acelerados, tudo aquilo não era uma mentira. Cada um tinha seus próprios sintomas, Rine também tinha alguns peculiares, como sorrir e abaixar a cabeça toda vez que ficava tímida ou quando Donghyun lhe dizia algo que a deixava sem jeito. Aquela amizade foi escalando, degrau por degrau.

Rine nunca sentiu nada por alguém de tal forma, mas ao ter seu primeiro beijo e sentir pela primeira vez um toque carinhoso e fofo daquela forma, não havia como negar, estava se afundando em uma paixão. Poderia fugir, tentar evitar, entretanto também não era covarde, Rine sabia que Donghyun poderia sentir o mesmo, e apesar do medo de que ele no dia seguinte não estivesse mais ao seu lado, ela decidiu se arriscar.

O rapaz acordou no meio da noite com o som da TV. Estava no apartamento de Rine, haviam adormecido, abraços juntos no sofá. Donghyun havia tomado a atitude de beija-la, mas agora, estava apreensivo e temeroso, mesmo que tivesse certeza sobre seus sentimentos por ela.

Se recordou das palavras de seus amigos, que o incentivaram a tomar a atitude. Rine poderia ser mais velha, entretanto, Donghyun sabia que ela tinha suas travas, e iria respeita-la, até porque, ele mesmo também tinha as dele.
