Im gonna be posting a lot of monkey wrench easter eggs over the next few days BUT I went through episode one again and as directed to us a few times by @monkey-wrench-zeurel I looked at the news segment in episode one
As we learn from episode two Shrike loves Terran cartoons being silly animated adventures set in a western cowboy like setting. Soon after the conversation gets diffused by the fact the Terran are apparently responsible for the "Galactic wide cataclysm"
But who cares! Right? I mean apparently they also invented pizza and also cartoons! They're a big part of history!
Hm. Maybe a little too big.
The biggest kicker of all would have to be something I also spotted in episode one
When the dudes get to Oberon there're quite a few featured wanted posters and if you pause and read you can see a wanted poster for actual Terran with images!
As you can see these guys are pretty hated, especially with the big red X some one has put over both of the Terran. Even listing that " if you sight anyone from the Terran species you are to report their location to the L. A. W. Enforcement immediately"
They want all of them dead so badly they're listed at 1,000,000 pixels for capture. They aren't wanted dead though, and are instead listed as being executed. From everything I've seen so far I don't really trust these L. A. W. guys who seem to have a lot of power
But obviously as you can see Terran are probably Humans.
It would make sense with the things they are related to but we can't exactly rule out that in the universe some other species didn't make certain things.
What I do find interesting, is that the cartoon shrike loves so much is called " EL BANDITO" which is spanish, as we often hear Shrike speak. So if Terrans were just humans who live on earth that would make sense.
We know that Terran have been around for a pretty long time being a big part of history and everything. As you can see in the news broadcast the year of episode one is 4029 which is about 2,026 years in the future. (not good at math)
Obviously technology is very advanced now and everything is in a Sci-fi space setting, so I find it interesting Shrike has VHS tapes when at this point that technology would be like an ancient 2nd millennia BC historical artifact.
Last thing I'll note is that the Terran both have purple gunk on then so that's a question to ask.
And if you haven't already, go watch Monkey Wrench! It's beautifully animated and it's only just a youtube show so it needs all the help it can get to do great and really get out there!
New Podcast time! In what would prove to be Cindy Williams' final episode (and Shirley Feeney's final time ) the girls are offered a big promotion at Bardwells - if they manage to stay in a display window showing off the Apatment of The Future for forty-eight hours.
This causes Laverne's heretofore unmentioned claustrophobia to kick in. With Rhonda's help, the girls employ a hypnotherapist, who ends up accidentally implanting a suggestion in the girls' brains that whenever they hear a bell, they should act like chickens. Naturally, Bardwells' home of the future is just laden with these bells, leaving the girls acting like poultry right in public in downtown LA. Can they save their jobs? Will Laverne finally make contact with the handsome photographer she keeps flirting with? Will Shirley's strange symptoms point toward something shocking? Will Bonomania sell a showing out?!
On-pod, we talk about the episode's old-fashioned feeling, praise Larry Breeding, and talk about the guest stars.
Buffy didn't get a normal life. She was the Slayer, the Chosen One, she who slays the vampires and defeats the forces of evil. She wouldn't get to settle down with a family at the end of the day. When she finds out she's pregnant with Angel's child, though, she finds herself in a battle against Maggie Walsh, where her right-hand man might just be one of her enemies.

I was especially impressed at how this subverted my expectations along with John and Sherlock’s and showed that no matter what you expect, reality is better.
RHYTHMS’ COMPANIES ANNOUNCE their PARTICIPATION in NEXT SEASON of WE GOT MARRIED
Big news!
It was announced a few days ago that the big named brand RHYTHMS will be allowing its four companies to participate in the next season of We Got Married. Whether all idols will be in the show or not has not been determined, but the season is going to be allowing as many couples as they can exclusively for RHYTHMS. Neitzens are on the tip of their toes with such news, and with each company comes interesting things we hope to see.
After the wrapping up of the successful Train to Busan film that RHYTHMS had just put out, they are stepping out to do yet another event that will encourage their idols to come together in other ways. After the appearance of several scandals such actor Nam Euntae and AEON’s Moon Yeonhee, as well as G-ZER0’s Mint and skyLectric’s Angel, we think that We Got Married will be just the thing to spice up the drama between everyone! Perhaps we will also see sides of shy and quiet idols come out in this show upon their participation, but there is so much to be surprised by with this upcoming season!
It was also revealed that Kaleidoscope Records was hosting the event. There will be four episodes total that each of the company’s CEOs will judge. If only fans could have a say on what couple was the best...
While the lists of participants and couples has not been given out yet, we are excited to see who will go with who. There are so many questions to be asked and so many that might be left unanswered after the release of the couples… stay tuned for more, and let us know what you think about this in the comments! What kind of couples are you looking forward to?

Comic-Con 2017 Convention Floor Booths: 'Walking Dead,' 'Outlander,' 'Once Upon a Time'
The networks hit the fan- and marketing-heavy annual confab hard with the hope of translating photo ops into eyeballs (and money).
The doors to San Diego Comic-Con officially opened to press and select badge-holders Wednesday with Preview Night, ushering in fanboys and media alike to a sprawling convention floor where broadcast, cable and streaming outlets alike hope their flashy (and pricey) booths have what it takes to cut through.
With nearly 100 panels set for Thursday through Sunday and more activations outside the Convention Center than can be truly counted, the stakes are high to attract new and returning fans to some of the biggest bets on the small screen.
The Hollywood Reporter walked through the epic show floor Wednesday and below highlights some of the must-see TV booths hoping to gain an edge over other comic book and movie displays.
Warner Bros. (Booth 4545)
The convention floor staple this year brings a re-creation of the living room from CBS’ The Big Bang Theory where fans can actually take photos sitting in Sheldon’s spot (bazinga!).

The independent TV studio behind all things DC TV also boasts life-sized Funkos from The CW’s Arrow and Supergirl — the only ones of these characters in the world — as well as a selfie station complete with angel wings to support season two of Fox’s Lucifer. Fun fact: Warner Bros. Television chief marketing officer Lisa Gregorian says the company who made the wings — named Mother Plucker, yes really — sifted through 11,000 feathers to find the perfect 1,600 to comprise the custom-made wings. That’s some quality control right there.

WBTV always has a massive presence at Comic-Con as its trademark tower offers a select few a chance to escape the crowded aisles and get a bird’s eye view of the madness from above.

AMC/The Walking Dead (Booth 4237)
After introducing a number of new communities during season seven, the AMC zombie drama is gearing up for its October return with a walk-through photo-op that includes several impressive walkers (looks like Greg Nicotero’s work), a life-size Negan standing next to an oven (RIP the Saviors’ doctor), a walk through the Heapsters’ trash heap complete with the spiked zombie and ending with an opportunity to sit on King Ezekiel’s throne — next to a his (stuffed) tiger Shiva, of course.

ABC (Booth 4245)
With fan-favorite but little-watched fairytale drama Once Upon a Time rebooting itself with a largely new cast, the Disney-owned network is going all-in with a 360-degree immersive hologram/LED showcase. The five-minute presentation features star Colin O’Donoghue’s Captain Hook introducing a short trailer previewing the “new curse” that awakens, the “new savior” who emerges and “a new book” that opens this fall. Take a brief trip through Neverland and the Enchanted Forest and feel like you’re out at sea with Hook. And then finish your immersive experience by challenging Hook to sword fight.

The booth will also feature a special Once Upon a Time mystery showing on Friday for diehard fans. Also look for the ABC booth to spotlight upcoming sci-fi freshman drama The Crossing, starring Steve Zahn, on Fridays and Sundays as the virtual sword fight changes over to jumping experience.

Funko (Booth 5341)
Always one of the most overwhelming lines all Comic-Con long, the Funko booth had already given away all 150 tickets to shop at the booth on Wednesday before the doors to Preview Night even opened. Among the hottest figures this year? A Comic-Con exclusive featuring Game of Thrones’ star-crossed lovers Tormund and Brienne.

Netflix (Booth 3729)
The streaming giant debuts its first-ever booth on the exhibition floor specifically to promote TV shows Stranger Things and The Defenders as well as upcoming movies Bright, starring Will Smith, and Death Note. In addition to the art of the various properties surrounding the booth, attendees can walk inside a tunnel of video images showing portraits and other media from all four projects to truly immerse themselves in the Netflix experience.
