erno is a psychopath, or atleast— that's how you see him. at first, this guy pay no attention to you at all. but he doesn't neglected you (or atleast that's what your maids were saying to make you feel better). he still gives you whatever you want and needed, give you clothings, house and foods. but affection? nah, there's no way he will love someone boring as you.

erno sees everyone as chess pieces, and yes, unfortunately you were also one of those chess pieces. yes, you were an important piece because of your abilities when it comes on magic and military tactics. but it doesn't changed the fact that he can dispose of you whenever he wanted.

and maybe because of his treatment to you and how everyone ridicule you because of erno's treatment. became the last straw to make you do that thing. and damn, the maid who saw your half dead body laying on your research lab and with your slashed throat— got traumatized. to the point that after she saw you like that and called the doctor and the other members of the etam family, she resigned and unfortunately a year after become crazy.

but it wasn't the same for erno. because the time that he saw that sight— he became interested. he remembered when he saw you for the first time as a baby. how you held his finger as if it was your own way to say that you wants to live.

when you woken up, you were disappointed to see the face of your younger siblings as well as your grandfather who scolded you to the point that your ears were about to burst. but what caught your attention was erno who started acting like a proper father for the first time. and seeing that glint on his eyes, the excitement that you felt for the first time started to disappear when you realized that— ah, damn. this is another game for erno's perspective.

nevertheless, you still gave him what he wanted. a perfect oldest daughter who will never disappoint him. you showed him a façade that he wanted. and with the months where he acted like a proper and perfect father who adores his daughter. you realized one thing and you couldn't help but to scoff as your hand traced the bandage around your neck. this guy, he finds you interesting for the first time— he finds the fact that his daughter almost killed herself, he finds the sight of his daughter half dead and bleeding— interesting.

it makes your stomach churn, it was disgusting— he is disgusting. you couldn't help but to wonder why in the are you so desperate to have his attention before? damn it.

but since this is what he wanted, you couldn't help but to think— why can't you give what he wanted? the sight of you dying and bleeding to death? and that's how your suicide attempts started. at first, it was simple such as poisoning yourself, drowning, etc. at first you used the methods where you were sure that it wouldn't hurt you that much.

and erno doesn't know why— he only spent few months acting like a proper father to you. but the sight of you unconscious in your bed was enough to make his hand shook. was it because of fear? why is he scared in the first place?

he spent a week trying to think about the reason. but then, while he was on the palace— he got a message from home saying that you jumped from the castle inside the etam estate. and now, he realized why the hell is he scared. hurrying to get back home, the only thing that erno has inside his mind was his daughter.

those times you tried to impress him, those times that you tried to get his attention, those times that you crave for his affection. and those times when he carried you as a newborn for the first time. erno realized that he fucked up— to the point that he couldn't do anything to change it anymore.

and after once he got home, he was welcomed by the sight of his daughter— sitting down on her bed with bandage around your head and those lifeless eyes of yours. erno felt as if he wanted to cry. and by the time he heard that you got amnesia because of what happened. erno was delighted— delighted by the fact that he was given another chance to fix your relationship. a chance to redeem his self.

but maybe, because of what he did before— no matter what he do. you became obsessed on dying. and your how do we quote it? "turning in new leaf" father got scared that you might succeed in doing that.

and that was the time he resorted onto something that he knew will affect your life, but he doesn't care. you have him, he will take care of you— you don't have to worry. your father got your back.

the only thing that you remembered before erno broke your legs and arms was the series of apologies that he whispered on your ear. and now, you become dependent to him just like what he wanted. don't worry, your father won't disappoint you this time.

“ i know it hurts, little cupcake. but this is what happens when you don't listen to father's requests!"

Camille Rowe: « Getting into the cinema business was a great lesson of humility. »

“I’m different, I have a baby face, I’m only 5’7, and I have breasts, so I don’t get passed around a lot.” But the photographers and the commercials make her popular.

Camille Rowe, the former model turned actress, acts in the adaptation of Anna Gavalda’s novel.

“I’m under a lot of stress. I’ve spent so many years as a model... I’m not used to being asked for my opinion.” At the dawn of her 30th birthday, Camille Rowe has the Californian freshness of her mother, born in Long Beach, USA, and the Parisian sophistication of her father. As a young woman well anchored in her time, she is not the type to play the seduction card, but rather those of frankness and humour. As a child, Camille dreamed, like everyone else, of being a princess. Then, inspired by a father who was a restaurateur and a mother who was a dancer at the Lido, she thought of café-theatre and eventually found her way to the cinema. Modelling came about by chance, as the best way to “earn enough money to buy myself an apartment .”

At the age of 18, she was spotted on a terrace by Olivier Lafrontière, the agent who still represents her today. She was then studying at university, hoping to become a screenwriter. It was counting without immediate success... So, a few years and an apartment in New York later, she takes up the challenge of not going for the easy stuff. “Getting into film was a humbling experience. Until then, I’d always been very lucky. Opportunities were coming at me without me having to do too much to provoke them. Naively, I thought things would continue to be so easy.” She discovers that she has to fight the cliché of the model who wants to become an actress, but she is willing to take risks.

In 2016, in Frédéric Beigbeder’s ‘L’idéal’, she plays a crazy top involved in a sadomasochistic scandal. It’s a daring choice for a girl from the fashion world, an environment that the film criticizes. But it is the first demonstration of her undeniable capacity for self-mockery. The following year, Guillaume Canet offered her a role in ‘Rock’n Roll.’ It was there that Arnaud Viard spotted her for ‘Jevoudrais que quelqu’un m’attendare quelque part’;  adapted from Anna Gavalda’s novel. She will be Margaux, an artist-photographer, the youngest of the family. “Originally, Margaux wasn’t supposed to be the youngest,” says the actress. “But, once the shooting started, I imposed myself as the little ‘sister’ of the gang. So she got younger... very naturally.” Camille understands her character well. Like her, she comes from a family of four children. “At home too, there are the two big ones and the two little ones, my sister and me.”

The film marks a turning point in her career. “During the shooting, I participated in the Etam lingerie fashion show. I heard someone shouting my first name from the front row. Alice Taglioni, who I was to meet the next day on the set. I was mortified. It was my last show.” More than a year later, the memory still makes her blush but also laugh out loud. She puts things into perspective. After all, there are worse things than being counted among the most beautiful girls on the planet and, if cinema is her future, the model chapter is not quite closed. “I’m still taking pictures today, and I’ll continue to do so for as long as people want to see my face. I’m lucky I don’t have to work as a waitress between shoots.”

In 2017, a love affair with the British Harry Styles, ex-member of the boy band One Direction, propels her into a box that doesn’t suit her at all, that of “girlfriend of.”

“All of a sudden I was getting a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons.” The story should have stopped when they broke up the next year. But last December, the artist released an album in which he poured over their break-up with little elegance. She sighs: “It makes me want to write an album and say, ‘Here’s my version.’ Ten years from now, it’ll be fun, but for now, it’s mostly invasive.” Camille has found love again with Theo Niarchos, an art dealer and grandson of Stavros Niarchos, Aristotle Onassis’ rival Greek tycoon. “We’ve been together for a year and a half but we’ve been friends for a long time.” They enjoy life in Los Angeles, where she has been living for the past few years. “When I’m not working, I cook, I go for walks and my boyfriend takes me to exhibitions.”

Camille collects first editions, multiplies the readings in her free time. When ‘My Year of Rest and Relaxation’; a dark and comic novel by Ottessa Moshfegh - the story of a post-traumatic hibernation - enchants her, she calls her agent to buy the rights. Too late, Margot Robbie is already on the case. Perhaps another time, she will return to her first love: writing. In the meantime, Camille dreams of acting in a romantic comedy. “Like those of the 1990s with Julia Roberts. Today, even comedies carry a message. It’s heavy. The world needs a little lightness.”
