Meet my “City Friends Story” Sims! Tessa Waybright:

Personality: She is romantic, outgoing, and a foodie. Interest/Skills: She loves karaoke and has a bit of a hidden talent for singing. She is very charming with a bit of charisma and has is a bit fit from hanging out with Everett too much. She also enjoys taking pictures of everything she can to decorate her room with. Career: Social Media Career Aspiration: She wants to take in everything the city has to offer while she’s young and become a city native! Backstory: Tessa is an only child from a wealthy family. Her mother died young, leaving her father to raise her on his own. Her father is an executive and part owner of an insurance business. She was very popular in high school but one of her best friends was Everett. Everyone said they would be a cute couple but they have never felt that way about each other. Tessa’s father wants her to take over the insurance business when he retires but she doesn’t have much interest in the business. She decided to take part of her trust fund and make it on her own in the big city of San Myshuno with the help and companionship of her best friend. She is a bit spoiled, used to a certain way of life but she also has such a positive personality about living in the city and taking it all in, she doesn’t mind working hard to achieve her dreams. Will she be able to make it on her own with the help of her friend, or will she be forced to move back home and follow her father’s plans for her? Everett Arrington: Personality: He is very active and health conscious. A fun, unexpected fact is that he is actually a vegetarian. He is also a real bro. Interest/Skills: He loves sports and making friends. He is actually a pretty good cook, often having to cook vegetarian options for himself as he doesn’t like to force others to eat like him (though Tessa doesn’t mind). He is also fairly charming and charismatic. He enjoys dabbling in mixology and can’t wait to get a bar for his apartment to entertain his bros and friends with. Career: Athlete Aspiration: He wants to be a friend to the world. He wants to meet as many sims as he can, given all the personalities in the city, and make lots of friends. Backstory: Everett comes from a fairly big family, having five other siblings! He is the oldest out of the group and took on a lot of responsibility at a young age to help raise his siblings. His parents struggled to make ends meet so Everett is pretty used to having to make do. Despite their means, his family was always very welcoming, often hosting his friends, sports teams, and even had Tessa over a few times. This is partly where Everett got his friendly personality. He was actually pretty popular in high school, mostly because he was really good at sports, especially basketball. He often made the newspaper for his games and his coach thought he could go pro. With his coach’s and family’s encouragement, and his best friend by his side, Everett decided to move to the city to try to go pro. He hopes to make enough money to help his family out of poverty and eventually start a family and life all his own.

Everett watched from her girlfriend's roof as bulldozers and dump trucks carted away what was left of the forest in the distance. Anne took his hand and interlaced their fingers. They knew there would never be a sight like the one they had lost. Where light peaks through the trees, and the beautiful ombre of blues and oranges are only noticeable if you really looked.

Their sunset is forever changed, no longer a subtle melancholy with its undeniable beauty begging to be seen. Now, its vulnerability laid out before them, naked to the eye of its beholder.

Behind them, in Anne's room, Marshal curled into the cold drywall, naive to the horizon's beauty. He knew the moments they shared on the roof mean something so much more to the two of them than it did to him. He preferred a blanket of grass anyway. Miles away from the light pollution of city living, long after the sun set, when he could truly enjoy the night sky.

The two on the roof called to him but he couldn't hear, too busy using their phone as a means to pass the time. They were surprised and confused when the arms of Anne, their girlfriend, picked them up and away from the mattress, headed straight for the window. He didn't understand why Everett enjoyed the setting sun so much, or why, after watching it, she struggles to fall asleep like normal. Marshall glanced back at Anne standing next to him and he understood one thing. Anne's view at dusk was never the sky. She stared directly at her awestruck partner, captivated by the fading light as it reveled in the shadows of his expression.

hc that sasha cuts her hair while shes on the run w grime during toad catcher, partially to try to hide his identity, but also bc hes going through some shit

and then he cuts his hair again later once she and grime make the resistance, bc sasha gave herself a shitty sword haircut and the resistance has a hairstylist so its about time she got his hair fixed
