so after I managed to fix the “computer going to sleep and not waking up again” problem, after working for several days it stopped again the other night. and then earlier today it was working. and then it stopped working again. took it in to best buy because that was the closest place I could do it and got a “huh, that’s weird” and a big shrug from the techs there
