so, to maintain my fingerspelling proficiency, I like to fingerspell IT character names (at least at the moment). I was trying to do "Richie Tozier" but my brain temporarily forgot his last name and I got completely through spelling "Richie Kaspbrak" before realizing 'oh, wait-- that's not his technical last name--'
uh... you may kiss the groom?

Scottish Deaf/HoH/Interpreter/NV -- IS THIS TRUE????
For the last three years I have been trying (and failing in epic proportions) to unlearn ASL/ISL and learn BSL. But I'm hoping to move back up to Scotland in the next 5 years. If this is true, please, please tell me!
SCOTTISH SIGNERS: WHICH SIGN LANGUAGE DO YOU USE?
WHICH IS YOUR ALPHABET USING FINGER-SPELLING?
1- American Sign Language
B - British Sign Language
3 - Irish Sign Language
If you live in/are Scottish and you use a different sign system, or the people in your circle use a different system, please tell me in the comments or tags what you do use! If possible, please also put your nearest big city and age (or generation if you're not happy to reveal your actual age).
Please forward this on to get as many answers as possible.
Please help me-- I grew up on ASL/ISL. I'm living in England and am struggling desperately to learn BSL. I'm hoping to move back to Scotland in ~5 years, and I want to make sure I'm not putting myself through this difficulty of learning BSL if I'm going to end up having to switch to a different system.
Thank you!!
