actually now that it’s the next day and i’ve had time to think on it. i’m not sorry and i stand by what i said. so i’m gonna repost it. with more detail because i need to make things very clear so nobody gets mad at me

first of all this is not about anything in SPECIFIC. it’s about how i’ve seen a trend recently and. ok. guys. i know we are trying to make up for the early tv show fandom duck hate and weird red guy over-love but i think we really do not need to overcorrect from “duck is a tory and ableist and should be ignored!!!” into “red guy is privileged and entitled and should just suck it up!!!” like. to me it’s just the same worst faith possible reading of a character in the opposite direction.

idk guys it was funny at first but as someone who has great love for all three guys. i feel genuinely upset whenever people purposely try to exclude one of them and say they are uniquely oppressive to the others and has nothing to be upset about and should fuck off forever. maybe i’m too emotionally attached but these three all deserve better than that! they’re complicated n they all have their own reasons to be unhappy and act out the way they do. like do you guys know the reason i became such a duck advocate? it was BECAUSE people were doing that to HIM and trying to read him in the worst faith possible!

like we might as well complete the set and start saying yellow guy is a little brat who isn’t even grateful for how much his friends love and protect him or how much of a favorite he is. like the teachers all pay the most attention to him and lesley said he’s her favorite. how dare he demand some respect people already care so much about him. he should go away and let rg and duck be happy together without having to worry abt someone who doesn’t even appreciate what they do or see how they’re struggling. and OBVIOUSLY I DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THAT STUFF ^^^ but you see what i mean right?

and this is not coming from the pov of some simp who refuses to see flaws in their fave or anything. i’m not denying red guy has flaws. they all have flaws. i just think you guys are getting very close to doing the thing where fandom readings of the canon get farther out there the longer they stay around and you should be careful

maybe i’m spending time and words and clout on stuff that literally does not matter but it matters to me. anyway i hope everyone is doing well and i want to be clear that this post is not coming from a place of malice or hatred just like. mild annoyance and concern.

tl;dr i think we can appreciate each of the three of them and each of the dynamics between them without having to demonize one to uplift the other two. it’s fine.

it’s interesting because i think most of my favorite works are my least “popular” performance wise. what resonates with me as a writer is generally not smut; i like to lean into atmosphere and psychology. my fics are really more vignettes than anything else. i enjoy writing character studies and tension and emotions, but either i don’t communicate those things properly in my writing, or people would rather get to the good stuff (whatever that means for them). anyway, it can be disheartening, but i also have to remember that i’m here to write for myself at the end of the day. becuase otherwise i’m chasing popularity—which is ephemeral—instead of fulfillment. my favorite works can stay cult classics… only the coolest people know about them, anyway.

#zoro fic didn’t really seem to hit which initially made me sad bc i wrote it in a flurry of emotion but i wrote it for me and that’s really #all that matters. i could write about more popular characters or sex all the time but then it would be robotic. and writing shouldn’t #be robotic—it’s an art form! #i even almost made it one of those ‘fill in your face’ things but i was thinking about zoro so i wrote about him in it bc i want to be #authentic. the fear of flopping shan’t stop me… i finally wrote in earnest for the first time in a week and that makes me happy

Well then, I hadn't yet given my opinion on what I thought of My Candy Love NewGen, but here I am now!

The game really excited me, I'm not going to lie. There are many pros, and some cons too, but I know it could be much worse, as I read the posts of those who played the beta version. And yes, I'm talking about the fact that critical choices spend up to 100 AP's.

Leaving the technical issues aside, and how much I will end up spending on this game, there are a lot of interesting things, like your personality graph. It may be silly, but I was kind of enchanted by it. And about the story, I really have nothing to complain about so far. It was quite fun playing these first two episodes. I laughed so hard at some of the responses or comments. The thing about the messages that each character can send at each end of the episode, I thought was a masterstroke. I really loved it.

That said, since the release I've been killing myself with my girls' edits, images and better designing my headcanon. It's easier to fit it in now that I have more context. Soon I will be posting everything I prepared.

1004 - The Angel Collab

Welcome back to another collab of yours truly! This time it’s all about Angels!!!

Be it a real one, the fallen ones, a person, who is being an angel to everyone around them or even angel as a term of endearment!

So the basic rule for this collab is to include any sort of angel. Any idol from any group is possible (though once claimed not available for anyone else), any pairing is allowed, it can be sfw or nsfw and any length is possible too!

I also ask everyone, who wants to join this, to be at least 18 years old.

I would also like to see visual contents, so if you don’t write fanfics consider to join with any visual content!
