As much as I don't feel too connected to flying foxes, I know I still am one as a bat therian. I think mostly I feel more connected when I am either partially regressed or particularly needy with my affection. Those gifs of flying foxes being petted and cuddled make me feel warm because it is like seeing myself get affection.

short answer: just what it says right there, it means being physically nonhuman

HOWEVER, it's obviously not just that simple, so here's the long answer:

- reality checking for the sake of explanation under the cut -

there are many reasons why someone might identify as a physical nonhuman or holothere, which is a term for all physical nonhumans (coined by @/defrostedvertebrae). for one, someone might experience delusions related to this, which would most often fall under clinical zoanthropy (the delusion that someone can turn, has turned or will turn into a nonhuman animal), but it can also be a different, more... let's say vague type of delusion. these people believe they can literally physically turn into animals and/or their DNA is nonhuman. there's nothing morally wrong about this and they are not harmful and/or p-shifters (which have a long history of very manipulative, malicious and cult-like behaviour).

then there are folk who follow the idea of "I am a fox, and this is my body, therefore this body is physically the body of a fox". they acknowledge their bodies as biologically human, but still physically identify as whatever they are, because it brings them comfort or something along those lines.

and then there are people like me - I don't experience delusions and I know my DNA is human. but instead of a werewolf who's trapped in a human body, I see myself as a physical werewolf, who is stuck in the human shape. and no matter the shape I'm currently taking, a werewolf is always a werewolf, which means I am physically one.

there are also people who claim to be non-delusional but able to physically shapeshift - while I for my personal comfort mostly don't interact with those, it's important to know they aren't automatically p-shifters or have ill intent. they probably are actually delusional, but not able to identify their delusions as such, which is not an uncommon thing. if that makes you uncomfortable, I get it, totally, but please remember to not reality check them, as it can be very harmful.

Silver White Mark Fox Nonhuman Flag

This flag is for any alterhuman/nonhuman (therians, otherkins, otherhearteds, alters, holotheres, ect) who identify as/with the silver white mark fox.

It doesn't matter if the connection is spiritual, psychological, physical, ect.

The silver white mark fox is a variation of the silver fox, which is a color morph of the red fox (Vulpes vulpes); the colors of the flag were taken from the fur colors of said fox.

Anyone is welcome to use, just credit us.

(It is an unintentional coincidence that this flag is similar to the preexisting silver fox flag, as I (/literally) used the eyedropper tool to grab the colors off an image of the fox, not used the other flag (or any flag) as a base/edited someone else's image. If the other creator(s) finds our flag too close for comfort, we are willing to change it a bit.)

welcome to my corner of the forest ! i'm pantheon/theo/bear, a 20y/o werewolf nonhuman & holothere from europe. i'm a transmasc, and use exclusively he/him pronouns. engaged to the most amazing woman.

i was born in a small village by the coast. i've spent my whole life in forests and wandering by the sea, knowing that i'm a canine though i didn't have a word for how i felt until I discovered the community in 2019. years have gone by since, and i'm more connected to my therianthropy than ever before.

My identity is entirely psychological. i'm comfortable with it, and for the most part i openly express my canine identity in my day to day life.

Yknow the more I think about and explore my identity, the more nonhuman my labels get.

For a long time i just kinda really liked animals. I pretended to be something or other at recess and such, and I distinctly remember a few times where i got kinda serious about it too. But not like "yo hold up i'm literally a critter", just enjoyed it. (except for the time i tried to do those "spells" to turn me into a werewolf and even tried p-shifting. we don't talk about that.)

And then I found out 'therian' was a thing, thought about it for a bit and went "heyyyy wait a sec. that me? that might be me"

i've been in the community since, though how much focus i put on it waxed and waned. It took me maybe like... 7 years to figure out what i was. Throughout that time, i honestly never got attached to '-kin' or really strongly attached to any one label - which tbf was basically just "therian" and "otherkin" because I knew I wasn't human, i just didn't quite fit either definition.

Cut to today, after i began hanging out in broader alterhuman spaces and also just became more comfortable in really expressing myself in general. At some point it dawned on me that i could just call myself nonhuman. And that... fits so well.

And it fits so well that i've stopped considering myself human at all. "Human" fits me like "girl" does - worked for a long time, but doesn't apply now that i know myself better.

I've rambled a lot already so i'm gonna keep going and you can't stop me. I've never had 'shifts', i'm always the same level of critter. There's no separation between human and fox, there is just... fox. Sometimes my form more closely matches my humanoid shell, but my thoughts and feelings are always the same.

I guess this is my incredibly lengthy way of saying i'm just not human. At all. I still have a bit of unpacking to do before I'm ready to fully call myself a holothere or physical nonhuman, but yeah.

Intro!!

Hello, im Nikola or Yips, whichever you preffer! I go by it/he pronouns and im 16 years old.

this is an account dedicated to my personal experiances with my "weird" form of non-humanity.

my identity is and always has been hard to explain, i consider myself in every aspect to be a red fox, including physically. i only use the term "holothere" so people have a decent understanding of what im going on about, not to mention its the only term that has come close to describing me and my experiences. however, i will probably be reffering to myself just as a fox or any related fox terms.

also just as an FYI, i am not diagnosed with any psychotic disorder or anything similar. no offence to anyone who is ofc!! im just saying this to avoid any potential confusion! pretty much everyone is allowed on my blog, no matter the cause or nature of their non human identity <3

(if i worded this poorly please tell me how to word it properly! im really bad at expressing myself through words hahaha)

I dont have a real DNI but please dont interact with me if: your account is centred around adult content of any form (because im a minor lol), if you are pr0sh1p, ant1-otherkin/therian/any other form of non humanity, if your just a massive dick in general or if you fit into the general DNI criteria

another thing to remember when talking to me, i can be very slow and you may need to explain further to me what exactly you meant, i am also horrible with understanding tone in written format. tone tags are appreciated but not necessery, however do be aware i may misunderstand you if you choose not to use them.

Hihi. Well, this is.. Complicated to answer with. Because I don't know if you are referring to me as a bat or what I really am- a werebat holothere.

As a bat the only bat species I don't really feel connected to is the hammerhead. I have less connection with flying foxes but I still am them.

As a bat I am just a fluffy thing. Fat, brown fur, blue eyes. I suppose a physical mix between an eastern red and vampire bat.

As a werebat.. I have pink and black fur. The pink ranges from a medium to light pink like where my underbelly is. The black are heart shapes, splotches around my thighs, and mismatched paws (as well as the light pink). I have paws but they can be switched between that and my actual wings (with the paws my wings are attached to the underside of my arm.) My underbelly shape is a big heart that wraps around my torso. My eyes are blue and I kind of look like a cartoonish vampire bat. I also have a tail but it is short and rat-like, like an actual bat's. I am big, imagine the body shape of how spookberry here on Tumblr draws Draculaura, or at least used to. I don't know too much about this because I can also change the color of my fur I suppose.

We are The Exodus Fleet, a non-disordered traumagenic system of currently 17 members. We consider ourselves to be monoconscious median for a completely of reasons, which we might adress in a seperate post one day. This blog will be used for collective experiences, general plural posts (and maybe syscourse), as well as by those who don't want their own blogs but still wish to make posts sometimes.

We are autistic and have ADHD, anxiety and BPD, the latter is in remission by now. We also have a history of severe depression. All of us physically identify as our inner forms and almost all of us are nonhuman. Some are otherkin, otherhearted or something else along these lines additionally to their inner forms. Our inner/physical forms will be in italics.

We have no set DNI but block freely and will also report you, if you promote any sort of abuse, hatespeech, etc.

NME-31: Sentient AI in an artificial dragon-like body, he/it/code, very dry humor, analytical and sarcastic. Name is pronounced "enemy".

Beast: Canine monster, it/its, reformed persecutor, now it is "just" very angry at everything. But we love it, it actually is very cool if you get to know it better.

Crowley: demon, he/him, very very AU fictive of Crowley from Supernatural.

Hello! Welcome friends...

This blog is for our nonhuman alters to have a space to learn about and interact with the world and fellow creatures.

To note, we prefer the term nonhuman over alterhuman/otherkin/ect. When referring to our identity, we prefer [identity] alter over [identity] kin. No disrespect to those who use those terms; this is just a personal preference in referring to ourselves.

For example : demon alter/demonic alter > demon kin/demonkin

We do have a DNI in our carrd (pinned message of @thecouncilofidiots ), but it can be summed up to "don't be a bigoted asshole"... other than that, we totally welcome fellow nonhumans (therians, alterhumans, otherkin, ect) to interact or check out our other blogs!

Because of our being a system, we identify as physically nonhuman/nonhuman in every way (not solely spiritually/psychologically/ect), and are experimenting with the term holothere . If this makes you uncomfortable, just don't interact; no need to spread hate or judgement (^ w ^)
