edit 10/09: as brought up in the replies of this post I fucked up, my intention wasn't to compare an asian character to a yellow blob-y cartoon, but mainly point out that the style used for dr.lobe's glasses + moustache combo is similar to what is accepted as kim's most "minimal" design. like in the apron he wears in the 3rd anniversary official art (link here, and here on tumblr)

the nice thing about the juniors learning how to read jin ling (despite the scowls and the prickly attitude) is that, by virtue of him being exactly like his uncle, the juniors probably start learning how to read jiang cheng as well
