As a non-binary bilingual who had to suffer through at least 12 years of French conjugation I agree that as a language it’s pretty overhyped and frustatingly binary-gendered at that.

However one thing I do geniually find beautiful in French is the meaning behind one of two common ways to say goodbye:                      «  Au revior  »

«  Revior  » Literally translates to “Re-See”. It’s not groundbreaking or anything I just think there’s something nice about a very common and casual way of saying goodbye that when you think about, isn’t really saying “goodbye” as much as it’s saying “untill we see eachother again”.

Hmm I feel like this is some kind of trap... Eh, well regardless IMO both sides are kind of dumb.

for anti shippers from what I've seen they are against ships like incest and pedophilia yes? And while I also dislike those kind of ships the thing is (and im probably not gonna word this right so bare with me here) why should another person get to decide where the line of who can and can't be shipped is? just reeks of purity culture and terf-ishness to me especially the ones that say "unless your shipping because of trauma reasons" like ???????? Because what that probably means is "only the people I think are traumatized enough can ship 'bad' ship's " and anyone who thinks like that is a hard no for me.

As for pro shippers the ones iv seen are also horrible and basically shove their ship in your face and say "everyone can ship what they want, you can't stop me" and like yeah your right; no one can stop you but that doesn't mean other people have to accept your ship or be ok with seeing it.

And all I can think is "hey, you guys realize your both doing the exact same thing (pushing your personal opinion onto others and hating anyone who doesnt share them and also literally searching through the tags of ships/the opposite community out to send hate/death threats/suicide bait to eachother) except like, for opposite reasons?"

Just tag your shit so the people who don't wanna see your stuff can block it, or don't tag it at all so those that don't wanna see it don't see it. And stop sending hate to eachother, go outside and actually do something with your lives.

Like literally realize that in the hours you spent hating you could've helped a homeless person, watched a sunset, donated to charity, saw a cute squirrel in your yard, stargazed or literally have done anything else.

But instead u decided to be dumb on the internet.
