Idk what I’m doing anymore

So, I’ve made a mistake. I created a new Naruto ship, I think.

While high on crack (not really, but I was kinda drunk) I started rambling to my mother about my favorite ships from Naruto including Gaara, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Naruto, and Hinata, which are:

So I am still alive!!! just not the best atm so I’m going slow.

I have worked on this for a bit and had so much fun making it! this is Gaara and Shikamaru form the love @fungusamongus Deer Au comic. This is a gift for putting up with me XD, but really I am loving the Deer Au the most of out all the comic AU's Fungus has right now.

GaaShika

· Who cooks: Neither of them. Shikamaru’s too lazy and Gaara has never been taught to cook because he always had someone to do it for him, so Gaara continues to pay someone else to cook for them or the pair would live off of take away at all times.

· Who does the laundry and other chores: Gaara make’s sure that the chores are split up evenly, even though he often has to remind Shikamaru to do his chores. Multiple times.

· How many children do they have: Shinki. That is it and that is all they want.

· Who’s more dominate: Neither. Neither of them have a dominant personality and they’re both perfectly fine with that. They don’t need a ‘dominant’ partner in their relationship and Gaara’s certain he wouldn’t really enjoy one.

· Favorite nonsexual activity: Cuddling on the couch and gardening. Shikamaru, surprisingly, does like to visit Gaara in the garden and help him with the plants once in a while, and hearing him talk about all of the different plants he has is always a treat. He loves hearing Gaara gush about things that he loves.

· Their favorite place to be together: Home and the greenhouse. Both of them are very simple people and just being around each other in very familiar places is good for them.

· Any traditions: Gaara only ever plays Shogi with Shikamaru on his birthday. Not because he’s not good at it, but just because he doesn’t particularly enjoy it. He does like to play with Shikamaru on his birthday though because it always make’s shikamaru smile, even if he tries to hide it.

· Their “song”: I’m so bad at picking song’s I’ve given up XD)

· What they do for each other on holidays: Shikamaru likes to keep it simple. A nice little present, usually a treat for Gaara to eat or a plant, and some quality time together. Gaara is also pretty simple, but he does like to include a cute hand note at least in some part of the day. A reminder to Shikamaru about how much he loves him.

· Where did they go for their honeymoon: They do a split honeymoon. Partly in Suna where Gaara spoils Shikamaru with some couply things to do there, and partially in Konoha where Shikamaru takes Gaara to the hot springs exactly once before realizing Gaara doesn’t really like being in the water and instead choosing to take him to some of the shops and show him Ino’s flower shop.

· Where did they first meet: The chunin exams is where they technically first met, but they properly met after Gaara became Kazekage and chose Temari as his ambassador to work on the chunin exams with Konoha. There were a few meetings between the kages that included Temari and Shikamaru, so Shikamaru got to see a lot of Gaara.

· Any pets: Shukaku XD

· What do they fight over: Not a lot. Gaara can get annoyed with Shikamaru’s laid back and down right lazy personality at times, but he also doesn’t think it’s worth fighting over because Shikamaru has always been like this. He knew what he was getting himself into. The main arguments they have had in the past usually revolve around Gaara’s plants, because he can sometimes get very protective of them and Shikamaru wasn’t the best at being kind them at first.

· Do they go on vacations, if so where: It’s hard for Gaara to get away from his Kazekage duties, or Shikamaru to get awayfrom his duties as Naruto’s tactical advisor (and part time work husband), but when they do they like to just hang around in either Suna or Konoha and enjoy the stuff they’re familiar with. Relaxing, getting treats, visiting familiar places. They both like familiarity and comfort.
