More Than Two, "problems" with chapters?

I just got to chapter nine in More Than Two, by Franklin Veaux and Eve Rickert, and I've very much been enjoying and appreciating the book. As I posted recently on r/GayPolyamory, reading it has made me consider polyamory as more than a relationship type, but also as a way of being/identifying, which has been an incredible (and inspiring) shift in my thinking.

But just before chapter nine, I've now reached the second 'disclaimer' that directs the reader to a stand-alone "mini-ebook" to address "problems in this chapter." I'm assuming these disclaimers only occur within the Kindle/e-book versions of the book, but I could be mistaken. The first disclaimer I noticed was after chapter five, Nurturing Your Relationships.

It reads: "Publisher's note: A number of people have raised some concerns about this chapter. The authors have attempted to address these issues in a modified and expanded standalone mini-ebook based on this chapter, titled Polyamory and Jealousy: A More Than Two Essentials Guide"

And chapter 8's reads: "Publisher's note: A number of well-respected polyamorous writers, spokespeople and therapists have pointed out problems in this chapter. The authors have attempted to address these issues in a modified and expanded standalone mini-ebook based on this chapter, titled Polyamory and Jealousy: A More Than Two Essentials Guide"

Now, first of all, I like that we've now escalated from "a number of people" to "ALL OF THESE IMPORTANT PEOPLE" in this second disclaimer. And while I'm annoyed that if there are, in fact, "problems" with these chapters that the authors/publisher didn't just release a new edition of the book, rather than updating the Kindle version to include these disclaimers... I also realize that's probably more of a systems/money/publishing thing.

But I am frustrated that they're so vague about "problems." Like... okay, I'm probably willing to buy the e-book, but if the problems are significant enough that you had to publish a modified version of this information, then maybe like... give me a heads up as to what parts might be problematic? I just spent however long highlighting the poop out of this chapter, drawing it all in, and trying my best to learn from it, only to be met with a "Welllll, we might have missed the mark on some of that! To find out more... buy something else!"

Anyway. Anyone else notice this? Has anyone else read the standalone e-book(s)? Does anyone have insight into the problematic parts of these chapters (and any others that might have disclaimers that I missed or haven't gotten to yet)?

I'm really excited to keep learning and to ideally start exploring my own polyamorous feelings, so in no way am I like... WELL F THIS BOOK! But just wondering if others have thoughts/experiences with this.
