Hooooooo, boy I've been waiting for this one! I have too many to count, so here's some. I present to you:

Peter Parker x Felicia Hardy Couple Headcanons

Peter and Felicia may not look it, but they’re the perfect ‘opposites attract’ couple.

Peter is the most frugal, sensible person on Earth. He still wears t-shirts he brought in high school and considers Chinese Food a guilty splurge. And somehow he managed to bag a girlfriend with literally the most expensive taste ever.

Felicia wears only brand name. Her favorite handbag costs more than his rent. Half the time she looks at him and is like

It isn’t until he starts dating her that Peter learns to relax and treat himself more. Felicia has to literally force him to take time off and pamper himself and take care of himself. Felicia Hardy is the self-care queen.

If Peter won’t treat himself, Felicia will do it for him, goddammit. (Even if that means stealing something and treating him to it.)

But on the flip side, being with Peter teaches her that not everything has to be glitz and glamour to be great. She starts enjoying eating in more than going out restaurants, if it means that Pete is cooking. She admires how resourceful he can be.

And she also pays his rent on occasion. He gets flustered every time.

Talking about opposites attract - Peter is a night owl. You’d think the girl with the cat name would be the nocturnal one, but no. He just has so much shit to do. It’s really not odd for Peter to be hitting the mattress just as the sun is coming up. Felicia however, early-fucking-bird. Like it’s borderline ridiculous.

She’s a ‘2-hour workout to start the day’ kinda girl. The kind that makes a smoothie bowl and listens to Meg Thee Stallion at 7 am to ‘get in the zone’. Her alarm goes off at like 4:30 and she’s just up and at ‘em. She bullet-journals, she meal-preps. Peter envies how much Felicia has her shit together, but he has no idea how she does it - considering he’s the superhuman one.

Talking about being superhuman - Peter does doesn’t realize how good he has it until he starts dating her. Felicia is human. She doesn’t have super strength. Which means she actually has to work-out. Everyday. Intensely. It makes Peter realize how much he takes for granted. Sure, he has his Spidey-sense. But she’s all technique, and work, and gold medals.

Watching Felicia do her daily gymnastics, weight-lifting, MMA training, it just blows him away.

Felicia loves using him as a sparring partner. Peter’s humor makes him super-encouraging. He’s the best trainer ever. Peter doesn’t actually need the work-out, but he still comes along often. They’re the couple at the gym that are just super in-sync. It's like a daily mini-date for them.

After they’ve been dating awhile Peter has to move in to Felicia’s place, because Felicia’s enormous closet wouldn’t have fit in Peter’s small-ass studio.

It takes Felicia 3 weeks to get in the habit of calling him ‘Peter’ and not Spider. She still does it on occasion. She’s purposely call him Spider if she’s trying to seduce him, or worried about him.

Their apartment is just…chaotic. It’s not messy, but it’s chaotic. Peter’s science work, cork boards of superhero detailing, Felicia’s art and canvases - she was a art major after all. Between her closet, his tech, their superhero gear, and Felicia’s art, the Hardy-Parker apartment always has something odd going on.

Holy shit, do these two get competitive. Especially when it comes to gifts. They constantly try to one up each other with gifts. They take holidays like Valentines Day and Christmas very serious. Birthdays are even worse. Even Date nights too.

They're always trying to surprise the other and put a smile on the other's face, and considering they've both done the 'secret double life thing' they're really good at hiding presents from each other. Surprises and little gifts are their thing. Even if Peter can't afford it, he still tries to find cheap but sentimental gifts for her, and their date ideas are wild. (Indoor skydiving, anyone?)

Peter is Felicia’s biggest muse. I HC that Felicia is a Fine Arts major, with a knack for art forgery. They have multiple paintings of Peter in the style of famous artists like Picasso and Van Gogh.

Felicia has multiple cats, whom tolerate Peter to varying degrees.

Prior to their engagement, Peter saves up to buy Felicia a promise ring. She wears it constantly.

Prior to moving in together, Felicia ‘ironically’ collected Spider-man merch. Peter thinks this is funny, and he’s kind of gotten into it too. In an ‘ironic’ way of course. They have matching Spidey pajamas.

At one point in time during college, Felicia was apart of the Spider-man Fan Club. She says it helped her learn his fighting strategies prior to meeting him. She doesn’t tell Peter this information, and when he finds out she nearly dies from embarrassment.

Whenever Peter’s not looking, Felicia will put on his mask because she thinks it’s funny.

Felicia took a fashion course in college. She designed her own costume and does all the repairs on Peter's suit. She usually has to make him a new one every 6-12 months.

Felicia and Peter have a routine of watching the Daily Bugle every night and making fun of J.Jonah from their couch. Sometimes they’ll boo him or throw popcorn at the screen.

J.Jonah hates The Black Cat more than he hates The Spider-Man. Unlike Peter though, she loves the attention. Black Cat openly has beef with J.Jonah and will instigate the man on-sight. Peter really tries to dissuade her from doing this. She keeps doing it anyway.

Their relationship gives off ‘Excuse me? He asked for no pickles.’

And since this is long Imma just leave it there. But thanks for asking this! It was so fun to write out and I'll probably make another of these because I just have so many.

Author Notes: I seem to be struggling with Esme centric chapters. I’m finding it harder to write for her and to get into her mind frame. At least when it involves adult themed feelings and emotions. Like how much such a 10 year old know about love and kissing and marriage? If this doesn’t read easily, blame me for that. I tried with this but it got to me.

“Uncle T? Can we go to the bookstore? I have enough money from my chores to buy a new notebook.” Esme asked as she came into the livingroom and plopped down onto the couch next to him. Tequila looked over at her from behind the newspaper as he folded the corner so he could see her better. It was a quiet morning for all of them as Jack sat at the kitchen table making work calls into headquarters and the Statesman liaison agent. The three of them had made plans to have a movie marathon this afternoon that would flow into the evening before Jack would leave to take Bunny on another date.

“Yeah I don’t see why not.” Tequila says nodding his head as his eyes dart over to look at Jack who’s still tied up on a phone call. “Go ahead and grab your shoes while I go tell your Dad where we’re going. Maybe we can even pick up some lunch for our movie marathon.” Tequila suggests as he refolds the newspaper and sets it on the coffee table before standing from his seat.

He walks over to Jack who’s still sitting at the dining table on the phone, the older man looks up at him and Tequila nods his head at him. Esme runs upstairs to her bedroom behind Tequila and Jack’s eyes follow her silently.

“She wants to head to the bookstore. We’ll pick up some lunch for the three of us for the movie marathon.” Tequila says softly and Jack nods his head before pointing over to the fridge.

“There’s some cash on the fridge if you wanna grab pizza or anything.” Jack tells him before focusing back on the conversation on the phone. Tequila nods his head and turns to the fridge and sees the bills pinned under a colorful handmade magnet that Esme had made in school.

Esme then comes rushing back down the stairs holding her jacket as her feet are covered in sparkly rainbow sneakers. Tequila grins as he grabs the money, his keys, wallet and Stetson before guiding her out the front door.

“So what exactly are you looking for at the bookstore?” Tequila asks as he and Esme enter the bookstore. Soft classical music is playing over the speakers and Tequila watches as Esme takes in a deep breath in through her nose before sighing softly.

“I want to get a notebook so that we can take notes on what Daddy should be doing during his dates.” she says determinedly and Tequila bursts out laughing at the little girl.

“Wait, you want to grade your Dad on his dates?” he asked incredulously. Esme turns to him with a stern look on her face as she looks up at him. Her tiny little first is clenched in determination and Tequila raises an eyebrow in surprise at her.

“Yes! If he’s going to fall in love with Bunny and make her fall in love with him he needs our help.” She says with such gusto that Tequila doesn’t have the heart to tell her that those two were already in love with each other. He nods his head and they walk over to the stationery section of the store.

Esme critically studies each notebook before she decides on a nautical themed cover and holds it close to her chest. She then begins to examine the pen sets that are on the shelves and Tequila smiles softly watching her serious examination of the products.

“So we’re going to be doing some spying on your Dad and Bunny’s dates?” he asks amused and Esme nods her head while picking out a colored pen set.

“Yes, so we can tell Daddy the best way to make Bunny fall in love with him.” she said stoically. “It’s been awhile since Mommy has been here and I don’t think Daddy remembers how to be romantic.” Esme said softly and Tequila grinned widely at her concern.

“And who better than to teach him the error of his ways than us?” Tequila said ecstatically as he hugged Esme softly to his side.

Tequila sat in the driver’s seat of his pickup truck in one of the last spots in the back of the parking lot. The parking lot was filled with other cars and Tequila cradled the heavy binoculars on his stomach so that the other patrons of the restaurant wouldn’t see them. Esme sat in the passenger seat next to him dressed in dark navy blue clothing from head to toe. She had insisted that she dress as a spy for tonight’s adventure. She even had a navy blue beanie on her head with her hair tied back in a low bun.

Tequila grinned at her as she looked down at her notebook where she had written down a list of things that Jack should do while on their date tonight. She had the date written at the top of the page and her pen was poised to write at a moment’s notice.

“Oh here they are!” she called out excited before lowering her voice considerably. Tequila looked out the windshield and watched as Jack’s pick up truck pulled slowly into the parking lot before parking in a spot close to the door. “Ok so the first thing he needs to do is open the doors for her.” Esme said as she looked up from her notebook to gaze out the window at her Dad and Bunny.

“Check.” Tequila said as he peered through the binoculars. “Car door is opened by him. And he’s helping her out of the truck.” he reports back to Esme who nods her head and checks off her list in her notebook. Tequila smiled softly as he settled back in his seat, he reached between the two of them and grabbed a chip from the chip bag that sat on the seat. “And now he’s opening the front door of the restaurant for her.”

“Good.” Es said softly as she marked down on her notebook once more.

“Uh-oh.” Tequila said softly and Es whipped her head up at his words.

“What? What is it?” she asked worriedly.

“He didn’t let her go first when following the waitress.” Tequila said critically and heard Esme sigh softly next to him.

“But he’s pulling out her chair for her and now he’s sliding it in.” he reassured her and Esme kept writing at a hurried pace in her notebook.

“Okay, let me know if he orders for her or if he lets her order her food. That was in the movie that me and Nadia watched at our last sleepover.” Esme said contemplatively as she leaned back in her seat. She too reached for the chip bag and popped a chip in her mouth.

“Es did you get all this criteria for your Dad to make Bunny fall in love with him from a movie?” Tequila asked curiously as he turned to look at her from across the seat. “Even after what we talked about the last time we spied on these two?” he asked while twisting his mouth in thought.

“Well yeah, Daddy likes Bunny a lot. I can tell, he’s always laughing and happy around her like he used to be with Mommy. He’s different around Bunny than any other ladies in the neighborhood. There’s just something about Bunny that makes Daddy act different.” Esme said perceptively and Tequila nodded his head at her words. “I think Daddy loves Bunny but Bunny is hard to tell if she’s in love with him.”

“Yeah Bunny’s a little quiet. But she loves you, you can definitely tell that.” Tequila said and Esme nodded her head rapidly at his words.

“Yeah but the way she loves me will be different than how she will love Daddy.” she said truthfully and Tequila was surprised at how knowledgeable she was on this topic. “I just can’t tell if she loves Daddy.”

“Alright, so then maybe we should be focusing on Bunny and not your Dad.” Tequila suggested. “Maybe we should be studying her to see how she shows her love.” Esme sat there quietly thinking before she slowly nodded her head.

“Okay so then we should be doing that.” Esme said softly as she flipped the page and began jotting down in her notebook. “Describe to me what Bunny is doing.” Tequila nodded his head before raising the binoculars to his eyes again.

“She’s laughing at something your Dad said while touching his forearm.” Tequila began to describe and Esme wrote down key points in her notebook. The two of them sat there in the pickup truck for another hour spying on the two adults while they ate and talked. When it got to the point where Esme had filled at least two pages of her notebook Tequila decided to call it a night.

It had been a few days of spying on Jack and Bunny everytime they met up and Tequila could help but laugh at Esme’s antics. She had developed a habit of dressing up in dark clothes with large black sunglasses on and a large floppy hat when she was trying to be inconspicuous while watching Jack and Bunny together. She had filled pages upon pages of her notebook and hadn’t shared any of her findings with Tequila yet.

But this early Saturday morning Es had called a family meeting and Tequila was very excited for it. He rubbed his eyes sleepily as he cupped his hands around his large mug of hot coffee as he plopped himself on the couch at one end. Jack was making his own cup of coffee as he yawned widely in the kitchen while Esme was setting up her Dad’s laptop to connect to the tv screen.

“Did you prepare a powerpoint presentation?” he asked in hushed excitement and Esme nodded her head at his question. Tequila squirmed in his seat with delight as he knew that Esme was about to rock Jack’s world this early in the morning.

Tequila looked over impatiently at the kitchen doorway waiting for Jack to finally appear. He couldn’t wait to experience this and then tease Jack for the rest of his life. A large shit eating grin spread across Tequila’s face making his cheeks start to ache with the movement.

When Jack finally sat down on the couch he took a sip of his coffee silently and Tequila snorted softly into his mug.

“Late night?” Tequila teased knowingly and Jack grunted softly as a rosy blush dusted the tops of his cheeks. Jack and Bunny had another date night last night and Jack had returned until early in the quiet morning before Esme woke up. Tequila was happy for his partner to have found someone like Bunny but he was curious as to how those two would be able to have date nights once he left back to his own home. He knew that they would eventually figure it out and take the next step in their relationship but he couldn’t wait to see the journey that these two were on. Plus he loved to tease his older partner when it came to his personal life. It always got a rise outta him that delighted Tequila immensely.

“Good Morning!” Esme sang happily as she finally got the laptop to project on the TV screen.

“Mornin’” Jack responded tiredly and Tequila’s grin widened.

“Good Morning Pumpkin” Tequila responded and could feel the moment of suspense start to grow as Esme tapped on the laptop keyboard. Suddenly the title of the powerpoint spun until it landed in the middle of the slide, ‘Daddy’s Love Mission’.

There was silence for a moment as both men stared at the screen before Tequila burst into loud raucous laughter and Jack furrowed his eyebrows at the screen bewildered.

“Es? Peanut? What is this?” Jack asked curiously as his eyes danced across the screen rereading the words. “What is my love mission?” he asked bewildered and Tequila hooted and hollered next to him on the couch.

“Me and Uncle T have been spying on your dates with Bunny. And I’ve been coming up with ways for you to make Bunny fall in love with you.” Esme said seriously and Tequila snorted into his coffee as he tried to calm himself down. Jack stared at his daughter in shock for a moment before tilting his head to the side still not understanding.

“Peanut, Bunny and I are just dating right now.” Jack tried to explain but Esme waved her hand in the air as she nodded her head.

“Yes, I know. But you need to make Bunny fall in love with you.” Esme said seriously and Jack looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Why?” Jack asked cautiously and Esme tapped on the laptop keyboard again showing the next slide on the screen. The slide held bullet points of Jack’s objective and why it was important. Tequila smiled softly when he read the words You need to be happy and Bunny would be a great Mom for me. Tequila gazed at Esme in a new light as she stood in front of the two of them determined to convince her Dad that he should make Bunny fall in love with him and then marry her. She had already chosen Bunny as her new Mom and now she just needed to get Jack on board.

He took a sip from his mug and mused that he didn’t think Jack would be too opposed to this idea. Especially since the two of them had started spending so much time together and with Esme together. The three of them had turned into their own trio in Tequila’s eyes and he could see the happiness between all three of them.

“Oh Es.” Jack said softly as he smiled fondly at her. He opened his arms to her and she rushed into them. Jack wrapped his arms around her little body and hugged her close. “Peanut, right now Bunny and I are dating. I don’t know if it’ll go further than that but right now we’re happy to date and get to know each other. You will be the first one I tell if we decide to get married. I promise.”

Tequila watched as Esme snuggled into her Dad’s chest and just breathed in and out quietly. He knew that wasn’t the answer that she wanted but he was curious to see if she would argue with him about it. She lifted her head from his chest and looked into Jack’s curious eyes.

“You promise?” she asked softly and Jack nodded his head resolutely.

“Of course, Peanut.” he said softly.

“Love you lots, like jelly tots.” Esme said softly and Jack hugged her tightly in his arms.

“Love you lots, like jelly tots.” he answered her back and Tequila grinned widely at the display of affection between the two.
