i just wanna info dump about misfits and magic so ima do it here!

so, it’s like d&d but is different, in terms of how roles are done but it’s easy to follow once you understand, but isn’t integral to story.

misfits and magic is a world basically making fun of all the flaws in harry potter. it’s about 4 american, 17 year old foreign exchange students. the wizard school is running a pilot program to see if they should allow NAMPs (Non Magical People) more access to magic.

our four teenagers are: Whitney Jammer, Evan Kelmp, Sam Black and Dream/Karen Tanaka.

they are a group of chaotic shits utterly confused by the magic world. they parade the magic world, searching for a maccas, yearning for a McRib.

Evan spends all his time hating HIS magic as he’s prophesied to be some being of evil, which allows for amazing lines to emerge.

they as a group question everything about the magic world and how things are run, and encourages the students to do the same, and rebel against authority.

i love this so much!! it was everything harry potter could’ve been and more! its so fucking good, so chaotic.
