Thank you for the tag @nerdieforpedro 😚 for anyone who cares, here's a bit about me! 🥹

General rule: I may overshare in dms and authors notes sometimes but Im generally a private person 🤣 to the point Ive lost friends over it. ive been working with my coworkers for 3 years and they dont know shit about me 🤣 I juss really love yall and feel safe with yall so here we go!

1. Were you named after anyone?

No. My mom didnt want our names to announce who we were on applications so we all got regular smegular names. My name is of Irish origin so my yt folks customer service voice got ppl thinkin I have red hair. I mean....technically yes but its buried under my braids 🤣

2. When was the last time you cried?

At the end of The Marvels. The first end credit had me in real, actual tears. On a more serious note, I last cried before my grandma died. Yall, its fn hard being a caretaker. I was not built Ford Tuff.

3. Do you have kids?

*ahem* 🗣🗣 fuck no! 🤣🤣🤣 I dont even have nieces or nephews. Kids make me nervous and Im pretty sure they can smell the fear on me. 🤣

4. What sports do you play/ have you played?

I played basketball and softball in HS. I love and miss softball all the time even though my big behind HATES running.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Sarcasm is one of my love languages. I put that shit on everything 🤣 Physical Touch is my main one since we sharing.

6. What is the first thing you notice about people?

Ooof, tough. Depends. Some quirk like glasses, lisp, moles. How they walk/talk, the way they laugh. I am a lurker by trade. Overly shy kid and writer by nature will do that to ya.

7. What is your eye color?

Dark brown. When that sun hits 🫠🫠🫦

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

I am a HUGE scaredy cat. I dont do scary movies nothin! Happy endings over here! 🤸🏽‍♀️ I will enjoy a thriller but only behind my hands and mostly starring Matthew Lillard.

I have two gorgeous Boston Terriers who run me into the ground every day. Idk why my mom thought two was okay 🫠🫠 my Black ass tide 🥲 👏🏽

Definitely English. My English teacher was so fine 🥲🥲 thats not WHY it was my fave but can ya blame me 😩 I loved reading the books but I hated the themes they shoved down our throats. What if that wasnt MY interpretation of the book??? Hmmm? Some faves include: Their Eyes Were Watching God (Teacake 🥵🥵🥵), Brave New World, Bright Lights Big City (probably where my love of second person is from) , Bronx Masquerade, and The Outsiders. And FUCK the Great Gatsby. If I hear about that damn green light one 👏🏽 mo 👏🏽 fn 👏🏽 time 👏🏽😩😡 and FUCK Of Mice and Men, he aint have to do all that in the end. And DOUBLE FUCK I Know Why the Caged Bird sings. Turned my stomach when she described the SA. Lemme stop 🥴

good things dont last [a hurt/comfort comic of a moment for moon and y/n in the secret garden au]

[tw:major character death mention, death mention, cancer mention]

it was a rainy day, moon looking out window and sighing, he gets up and walks around, looking at the empty garden, the only other thing in the garden being flowers, grass, and bushes.

suddenly the door opens, its y/n. moon gasps and goes over to them. and asks "i-is he ok...did....did he make it...?". "well....the doctors tried their best...but....with the rot...and all the blood and internals that god rotted....he..." y/n couldn't even finish their sentence.

which shook moon to his core...hes gone...suns gone...he had been fighting for so long, hiding and working against the rot.suns gone...

"n...no..." he shakily says...he didnt wanna beleave it, he couldn't believe it, his own brother is gone. "moon...I'm so sorry" y/n starts "but both sun and the doctors tried and did all they can do". moon shakily sighs and says "I know...i know..." he covers his mouth for a bit before letting out a soft whimper and saying in a broken voice "but...why did it have to be so soon?"

y/n sighs and opens their arms for moon to hug them and moon accepts the offer and hugs y/n tight, sobbing into their shoulder..

"shhh...shhh...im right here...im so so sorry this has happened..." y/n says as he rubs moons back, while moon is just sobbing, wishing that all of this was a bad dream.

after a bit of crying, y/n brings moon over to a couch to sit him down, they then say "sun got you something...well made you something...umm...its a gift". he tilts his head as y/n hands him a box with his name on it. he opens it and inside is a crotchety plush of sun. beautifully crafted and really soft.

"press the chest" y/n says, moon tilts his head again and does what y/n says, in which a sound bit plays, and its suns voice and its him singing rises the moon. "t...that's my favorite song....sun used to sing it me whenever I had a nightmare..." moon says voice shaking.

y/n softly smiles and says "i know the feeling of losing someone to something like cancer...or the rot...but....just know people are there for you..", moon smiles and tears up before hugging y/n and saying "thank you..."

later that rainy day, moon and y/n set out flowers at suns reading spot, to memorialize and remember sun.

What has been the BL that took you by surprise this year?

To be fair, ChocoMilkShake -> (I am aware it is still airing but I am pretty sure it will finish airing before the year is over) When I heard the concept I was kinda like ???? Dog??? Cat??? BL???? But I was so happily surprised omg.

What has been the BL that you felt a bit disappointed with this year?

To be very very honest... And hear me out here... Big Dragon -> The first episode I was like: OH SHIT LET'S GO??? The spice, the drama the bdsm... but then I was like... Where...Where did that go? I LOVE the couple, like MosBank are hawt... But I feel like MosBank has more chemistry than MangkornYai does and... Idk? Season 2 redemption????? Idk

Cutie Pie -> was a little hard to get through for me at times... Sorry? The couple is great, the story wasn't my fav

The rest of the slightly more disappointing shows are from before 2022 so I won't go on a rant lmfao

What has been your favourite BL this year?

KINNPORSCHE -> Oh my god, this show changed me... Like, I can't even explain in words how... But I literally consume every piece of content I can about the cast because I cannot get enough. I'm gonna rewatch it another 10 times probably?

Love in the Air -> I don't even know how to explain this one tbh, I just love the cast, the characters, the storyline didn't even matter that much to me as long as I got to see them doing their thing.. It had some deeper messages here and there too which I loved.

Blueming -> Do I need to explain this one?

(I know it's not done airing but...) Between Us -> as long as it does not take some really hectic turns... It's def a fav for this year at least!

I dont have an exact lore thing in my mind right now, but I'll try to put old ideas together as good as I can! :D

So, welp, her name is Skyla and she's my (main) OC right now and the one I use for basically most of the doodles! (She's also the one on my pfp)

Sky is like, idk, 17 / 18 yrs old- And an adventurer of some sort?

I created her based off of my minecraft skin, which is this one:

... and well, did the design, which has been tweaked and changed over the last like, year or something (?) since I did the first design. The design is thought to be more steampunk-y, but it can be taken either way me thinks, as i have not confined her to any era :]

I actually had another design for her at first, but as my in-game name is SkylaShadow, I just thought it was fitting to give her the design of my skin.

The old design got recycled for her twin sister, Scarlet, which leads us to the lore!

(as I said earlier, these are all some old ideas, and I might re-lore everything later on, because rn I realized how bad this all actually is lmao)

(this is all in an minecraft-y universe!)

Basically, Sky grew up with her mom alone and uhh,, they were quite happy (?) (<- havent thought of their relationship or anything like that until now lmao)

When Sky was 16 or something, she moved out, further out towards the desert / jungle area, and settled there. She lost contact with her mom after a while. Like a year after moving out, Sky wanted to visit her mom again and returned to their old home, just to find out that it was entirely empty. Her mom wasgone and she hadnt left any note or letter.

Sky still doesnt know what happened to her mom, but she eventually (after quite a long time) accepted their paths parting.

I, as the ultimate lore master and god of the universe she lives in (*cough*), of course, know what has happened. :)

Little does Sky know that she has a twin sister! They got separated right after birth, and her mom never told her that Scarlet exists.

You see, Sky is a normal human, and so is her mom, and in contrast to that, Scarlet is some kind of hybrid (i havent decided what kind of yet tho) and possesses some minor magical abilities. That's also the reason on why they got separated in the first place-

The city nearest to where they lived didnt really... like hybrids / non-humans? Which means that anyone with a connection to non-humans was an outcast and stuff, and Sky's mom didnt want this to happen to her and her daughter-

Sky and Scarlet's father also has magical abilities, and he was the one who passed on the hybrid genes to Scarlet, while Sky didnt receive any - see it as a curse or a blessing.

So, when Scarlet developed her first non-human traits, their mom basically abandoned her and left her to live with her father, and moved away with Sky so they could live a normal life. (it's their mom's entire fault at all, tho, as she had chosen her partner to be a non-human, which is prohibited by the law)

(wow, I'm turning this into Scarlet info dump as well lmao)

Their father eventually got and killed by illegal hunters (dunno if my english is correct on this one) when Scarlet was around 14. After that, she pretty much survived on her own and became pretty strong. I dont know how and when and why, but a few years later, she somehow found out where their mom lived, and because she was so angry at her for just abandoning her, she straight up killed her (yayy D:) Scarlet was also able to locate Sky, but as she feels a closer connection to her sis than to her mom, she spares her life and now watches her from time to time.

Sky, meanwhile, does sometimes feel like there is someone behind her, but she still has no clue that she even has a sister. (Scarlet feels the connection more as there is magic in her blood)

I havent actually thought much further, but if they ever meet, there will be this jealousy-

Sky is jealous of Scarlet because she has magic n shit, and Scarlet is jealous because Sky is able to live life without hiding and yeah...

That's about it, i guess?

Sorry if this was too long and too cringe, I will probably come up with new lore anyway eventually :D

almost exclusively drink coffee and depends! most often with a good amount of milk because my stomach is a bitch, but i also drink turkish coffee and recently arabic coffee. i was introduced to it (black coffee with cardamom) by my moms friend from jordan and it was soooooo good. fingers crossed i can find a good one in serbia :////

oh god no idea. havent lit a scented candle in years. i tend towards incense, frankincense is too good

sunrise, sunset is beautiful but whenever i see a sunrise its always a special occasion. except when i lived in the netherlands i guess.......

whichever one i have, im not very picky, i just like to smell kinda nice sometimes.

fuzzy socks. i love them but also if i dont wear them my stomach will signal its protest by making me bend over in pain.

well my ass is going to have to for eu citizenship aspdapls! thats a lie actually you can apply for it via long-term partnership in the netherlands ANYWAY conceptually i dont mind either way. i dont need to, but i wouldnt not want to. for me getting married is a promise i take seriously, so it comes down to if i want to make that promise. i do think its neat to just celebrate with you friends though. you can get married without participating in the insanity of the wedding economy. re: color i have no idea?? i dont think my wedding would have enough objects to have a color theme lmao everyone can wear whatever they want.

Okay so I was reading this enemies to lovers bucky barnes one shot and well my phone switched off and I've lost it

So basically it goes like Tony and Steve send the reader and bucky for some time to Tony's winter cabin and well there's not enough food there and one bed and the couch dissapears and the rules are they can't say no

So bucky makes the reader call the pizza place but the reader tells him they'll only do it if he excepts that the last mission was his fault and then since he says that won't ever happen

The reader tells him to call the pizza place

"I want a cheezy pizza with extra cheese"

"Shut up"

It was basically an Anthony Bridgerton x reader and the first half was just reader chatting with Colin Benedict and Eloise where Colin pulls the readers leg about being unmarried and the reader snips back and takes Eloise's hand

Uh she has a gossipy mother

The reader and Anthony share this passionate look and the reader goes to the lemonade stand to look around and spot Anthony but she doesn't find him instead this other guy I forgot his name shows up and starts talking to her she decides to ask him about his trip to Italy to keep him talking while she ignores him

Eventually Anthony takes her away from tha guy and they are in the garden and he's jealous and she teases him by asking him why he hasn't kissed her yet

Probably not the best book to read on a plane it is fucking insane and gay and my attempt to describe it could not serve it justice just lemme say it is definitely one of tezuka's most controversial stories for a reason LMAO and lastly i read like the first volume to the league of extraordinary gentlemen and it was! definitely interesting. I like the idea and the art is pretty fire besides um. The not so good caricatures of different races but besides that i liked it tho i dont plan to read anymore of it afterwards lol

current obsession: ermmmfmm limbus company?!?!? i guess but it makes sense I LOVE THIS GAME..... i love my wife hong lu and gregor and heathcliff and (explodes) I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCHH im so excited for what else is in store for this game the stories are great the art is great the MUSIC this game fucking RULES and i think more people should play it (its on steam and u can get it on ur phone totally not saying to play the game)

1. Art programs you have but don't use

i thiiink i have a license for clip studio paint that came with my old wacom tablet but i never rly used it. also used to have krita installed for the longest time but just always felt off to me idk why. don't currently have it installed anymore tho

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)

to their right is a bit easier i think. not smth i consciously notice, mostly i'm just thinking abt when im doodling on the margins of stuff they usually are looking to the left of the page

3. What ideas come from when you were little

uhhh idk tbh, i dont think much of my art draws from that

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

cityscapes !!! i love cities they r so pretty and cool looking but goddamn theyre so hard to draw

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself

80-20? i post everything that i finish. basically the only stuff that doesnt get posted is sketches i give up on

6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)

so many animatics ..................... also many comic ideas ..................... i get so many ideas that i just never start on or start and only do a little before losing the hyperfocus/fixation and just Cannot continue them. it sucks

usually the character name, maybe a bit of description of what theyre doing... idk not much of a convention to it

yes, usually music. sometimes random youtube videos like stream highlights or video essays.

uhhh hair? maybe idk. hard question bc it varied a lot depending on what kinda style and just. sometimes smth is hard in a particular drawing then easy later idk

in my drawings i dont feel like i use any much. mostly i pull motifs from whatever im doing fanart of lol. in music, i like religious motifs (but not like. ones abt christ or bible stories, rather heaven, hell, god/divinity, angels)

at home pretty much exclusively. in bed lol

yeah, often i use a multiple layer for shading then a variety to colour adjust at the end

i rly like the cj comic i did i am genuinely so goddamn happy with the result so . even tho it did very well by the standards for the fandom its for and my current follower base it is underrated

I’m so upset about the tags :(( like we’re going to have to scroll back ages to find any content for cm how hard was it to just call it something else… and you’re so right while I was watching I felt as though it was missing something? Like ignoring how pissed off it made me to see /him/ playing one of my favourite characters ever it just didn’t feel like cherry magic should to me there wasn’t that sweet unique loving silliness about it… the casting apart from him is good I agree but even that lift scene seeing him try and fail to embody that adachi-like nervousness when karan falls on him just killed me I can’t I wish I could go about my life in peace without being reminded about this GOD

the name thing wouldnt be so bad normally bc usually adaptations of a thing do have the same name as the thing but theres such a massive flood of new people coming in doing their own thing and tagging every unrelated fucking post w the shows tags and its just So Goddamed Annoying like im here to look for news and fan content not stuff abt the actors that has nothing to do w the show stop !!!! augh. cant stand these people
