1. Breaking the kiss to say something, staying so close you're murmuring into each other's mouths ................................................ "Mrs. Callahan." Her blouse lost those buttons at the top long ago, the lacy collar standing around her neck, plummeting into a deep V and playing a lascivious game of peek-a-boo with her cleavage and tattoo. The skirt was a bit better, though the heavy material only further accentuated the stark difference between the width of her waist and of her hips. Her homestead heels added an inch of height to her short body, putting her at the ideal height to snake her arm around Arthur's, drop her head against a strong shoulder like a girl in love. And Cole would do anything for Arthur, including spare him the embarrassment of confrontation that she so adored. As it turns out, her little aside wasn't any easier on the poor outlaw, Cole realized a second too late, than being mistaken for a whoremonger. The top of her "husband's" ears grew red, jaw squaring and she nearly feared she upset him. Had that uppity whore Mary Linton written him again, making him sensitive to the topic? They had been engaged, hadn't they? It's a joke anyways, Arthur, Cole doesn't want to marry, you know that, don't be mad. But instead of reprimand he collects himself, gives her this: A "That's right, darlin'," in a tight tone that would sound normal to anybody but Cole. An arm tightened around hers just so-something she wouldn't mind in any other situation. A stiff nod as he takes their key. As they head up the stairs, the homey scent of lumber and acrid cigarette smoke fills her senses. Really, she wonders as her short legs struggle to keep up behind him on the stairs, is having a whore wife so bad? Least I wouldn't up and leave you. It's an odd thought, especially for somebody as noncomittal as her. She'll swear she doesn't love him like that up, down, left and right, just as she'll swear she doesn't love like that at all. It just doesn't come natural to her. Cole adores Arthur, would do anything for him, lives for fucking him and fucking lives for him but it isn't love, it's not, it isn't- He gets her in their room and in one damnably elegant motion has her swept up close, the door at her back and locked tight, and his mouth on hers. He ducked his head, chuckling a bit as she sauntered over, pushing him to sit on the chest at the foot of the bed, taking his hat and putting it on over her crown of dark hair. She planted a heeled boot beside his thigh on the chest, hands on her hips, smirking down at him as he placed a kiss on the inside of her soft thigh. So here's some more details on her concept and design if you'd like

Billie isn't exactly a new character from me, but she has gone through a couple iterations. The one at the top is close to the current design but the legs there are a little too "sleek" or catlike. But at least you can see how she's supposed to carry her cannon. Most of the centaur's torso is a battery for charging the accelerators in the mass driver, allowing her to punch holes in the biggest mecha. She can also serve as a portable battery bank for the ranger crew and their equipment!

Billie's human body doesn't have legs, due to a birth defect caused in part by the radiation in their post apocalyptic wasteland world. She was able to get different prosthetics and adapted well to different frames from wheelchairs to legs. I still haven't decided how much of her body is mechanical but I think it's just her legs as the most recent drawing shows.

An earlier idea was for her to be a small woman in a large exoskeleton centaur frame however I went ahead and gave her big muscles because that seemed much more fun. And I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay that way from now on.

She is one of a few rangers as part of the crew of The Big Bug, a large land ship that goes across the wasteland. They move from settlement to settlement, providing medical and mechanical aid when they arrive and act as a supply lifeline between different communities. The rangers explore and scavenge parts from the wasteland, and are equipped to deal with hostile wild mecha.

To get around on the ship, Billie will separate from her hind legs. Sometimes she's even seen with much smaller front legs or her wheelchair, depending on which one's more comfortable for her on different parts of the ship.

Thank you for following along. 100 characters in 100 (week) days has been a real journey. Like... for real it was one of the most fun creative endeavors I've done. I have to add that doing it as a daily challenge might've been the only way it would get done. By setting it as a challenge, I had a clear goal that I could work on everyday AND an ending. And now, by working at it consistently, I have something I'm pretty happy with.
