DigiKen 4: "Steve Fox"

The fourth of the Digimon/Tekken crossover series, featuring Gaomon dressed as Steve Fox from Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection. I hadn't really known this Digimon very much before I did this, but it seemed appealing to me, and out of the Tekken fighters I think I picked a good match -- the gloves certainly helped with the choice.

The strap by the waist is typically akin to a belt, but in this case it's actually the bandana that Gaomon often wears. The shirt design was slightly altered to reference a little bit of Digimon as well -- rather than an arrangement of decorated shields, the shapes were made to resemble a type of Digivice.

I think I may have unintentionally given Gaomon longer arms and legs. But it was already tricky applying this particular pose. Plus I've already noticed since starting this little project that design details tend to be somewhat inconsistent.

EXTRA:

When making Gaomon as Steve Fox I was uncertain what color scheme to go with. This coloration is the "typical" one, seen from Tekken 5 to Tekken 7, but I was uncertain if the strap would blend in too much with the pants -- a similar story with the chest fur and the shirt. At the same time, the other option I was uncertain whether there was too much blue.

👶 Fankids: How you do you feel about them? Would your OTP have kids? - So Teslen have had two different kids in my fics - Noah and Evelyn. They don't show up often (Noah's mostly spoken about rather than seen in Ocean's Edge) but when I want to write about babies and Teslen, I either go with Evelyn or they borrow Alice. And tbh, I feel like them borrowing Alice is more in-character for them than Helen getting babbied up (my personal head canon is that she can't after pausing her pregnancy).

🍎 What's something you learned while researching for a fic? - Always learning, me. Whilst trying to make Nikola sound like a physics professor in Laws and Equations, I learnt that I had forgotten most of what I knew about Physics. XD (Genuinely. I was looking at some words and thinking, "I learnt that at school... I think?" Very odd feeling my brain stretch.)
