#i've made this disclaimer on another post but will again since i've seen a lot more of the movies now #the movies are VERY good and very enjoyable but unfortunately the first handful are bogged down by transphobic/homophobic/okama stereotypes #they kind of vary in their severity. Movie 5 i think is the biggest catalyst because it features the stereotyped characters the most #prominently. Movie 3 doesnt really have caricatures per se but saves a very backhanded reveal for the end #Movies 1 and 4 are a bit more tolerable if my memory is correct. Movie 2 i think is kind of comparable to Movie 5 with its caricatures #in that the characters have similar roles in both movies #i admittedly can't remember what caricatures there were in Movie 6 or 7. 7 i think barely had anything #RAMBLE RAMBLE BASICALLY: these jokes are within the first 7 movies or so 5 being the zenith then reducing down and down. by movie 8 it's sa #e #i give these disclaimers because these movies are all very enjoyable and i would not recommend them if i didnt think there wasnt any merit #o them. they are all very much worth watching. Recently I just can't stop having a bad mood! I just don't know what it is :/ I am trying to focus on the things that make me happy and combat my wish to vent and turn irritating things into positive ones but every single good thing improves my mood for maybe like 3 minutes, and then I think about things that make me angry ANYWAY! I want to be around people but I can't because if I keep talking about things that make me angry - minor or big - I'll just exhaust them. But I've been trying to focus on good things for a while now and now it feels like it is a daily hard battle.

I really need to either finally have a mental breakdown (but I can't control when it happens, you know?) so I can cry, or have a justified reason to get angry that won't feel like petty over-reacting on my half. Hhhhrg

IDK I think that whether you read a romantic/sexual element into it or not, though, Knives has a really fucked up view of Vash (and particularly Vash's bodily autonomy) that lends itself a dynamic that can quickly slip into uncomfy territory. Usually I'm better about tagging ship stuff (esp things I know other people filter for) but I'll be honest and say my brain was a lil fried last night so it slipped my mind.

As a general rule for any folks new to the dragonofeternal space, I'm solidly ship and let ship. I enjoy fucked up ships and nasty gore weirdness with the same breath that I enjoy wholly unshippy and unsexual gen content. I am a creature of many pleasures, lol.

out of the big 4 het/canon fairy tail pairings jerza is by Far the worst imo like. he needs to leave her alone i'm so serious and the fact that mashima wrote in a 7 year age gap for no reason is Not helping... erzas ass is NINETEEN the first time jellal makes an open pass at her i don't care that they used to be the same age it is fucking weird. gruvia is a close second though because while yes we objectify men here sir and i live to serve women juvia's creepiness is really just too much like at a certain point it starts to feel really gross and the fact that gray seems to fall for her by the end of the anime/manga just reeks of coercion. not even bringing up how genuinely awful juvia's character writing is she gets like 5 minutes of being interesting before getting instantly reduced to a creepy stan who completely revolves around gray and has less depth than the average bossfight of the week. i guess its equality that erza and mirajane are some of the best characters in this story (which is admittedly a low bar considering half of their personality is being subjected to the most voyeuristic shots possible) so mashima had to balance it out by making juvia one of the worst

#the other two pairings nalu and gajevy are honestly fine. i'm more pilled on gratsu and lucana or luli but gajevy is actually a decently #sweet redemption relationship if you forget that gajeel was genuinely the worst person alive in his villain arc before mashima decided to #fast track him to the most likable character in the show. #on top of that while gajeel and levy become a Unit pretty fast after tenrou island they do still have like #unique personalities and things about them that help them stand apart from the other. unlike juvia with gray. #nalu might not be my pairing of choice for either natsu or lucy or even my favorite big 4 pairing but it is pretty good. i really don't hav #any notes they have their own personalities and have chemistry. i think they're sweet together. they work fine. #the moral of the story is don't read or watch fairy tail it's just shittier one piece #tender age of 11 and it gave me incurable brain fungus and now i live in my wonderful little made up world where everyone in fairy tail is #gay and trans and the women aren't treated like meat half the time. this is my trash of choice and my defining character sin dont be like m #but if you're that curious read the manga the anime is insanely drawn out #and the animation is aaaawful #the only reason im watching it is as background noise for when i work #im gonna tag this as #fairy tail #for people who want to blacklist #in the future

#madoka magica #pmmm #madoka kaname #magical girl #puella magi madoka magica #fanart #orbs art #anyway. these were quick lazy stuff but im very happy with them. trying very hard to change how i draw #i need to be more chill and silly about it. feeling to stiff and bleh about drawing lately. this was v good for me #i had wanted to shade this but itd take so much effort to shade the lineless and the lined its not really worth it #i think it looks good as is and ik id just get bored and then never finish this drawing ever if i tried to shade it #anyway. just rewatched this show and. its so good. it like. changed something in me when i first watched it 6 years ago #and not exaggerating. i have though about this show almost every single day since then. my brain ran with the whole concept #thats good though. its been 1 of 2 main focuses since i was 11. it means a whole lot to me. when i finally learned of and watched rebellion #my little brain was ecstatic. i hadnt felt joy love and inspiration like that in such a long time and i havent since. #idk. its my only main special interest that wasnt tainted by others thinking it was stupid. hell even my mo watched the show and loved it #anyway ill stop talking now uh. its 6am and im rambling. not that i wouldnt do that at 6pm too
