Since the Fossil Ghouls got a lengthy post with this information, I feel its only fair for the heroes to get the same.

In the closing days of the Cretacious, the Dinosovian civilization was at its height. Their world came to a screaming end with the arrival of the Monster Meteor Apothis. In an effort to save their people, Professor Rachus of Science Tower One attempted to shift the Dinosovian people into the future to escape the impact.

Something went wrong.

65 million years later, Science Tower One and a handful of Dinosovian survivors appear on the outskirts of Granite Mountain, Colorado, while far above, the injured core of Apothis materializes in orbit. When Apothis’ Fossil Ghouls descend on Earth, the only hope for mankind is the reductant heroes of the DynoGuard.

Dracora “Cora” Rex Species: Pachyon (Dracorex) Armor: Trailrazor DynoPower: Flame Breath Ranger Cora Rex of the DynoGuard Parks and Wildlife division wasn’t ready for any of this. She was just dropping off her daughter at a summer internship when the world ended, leaving her the highest ranking (and only) government official of her people. Practical, longsuffering and tough, Cora is the common sense glue that holds the new DynoGuard together. Hopeless with technology and baffled by science, but has a natural affinity for animals and, against her better judgement, a knack for heroism.

Brach Longstride Species: Podite (Brachiosaurus) Armor: Slammerhead DynoPower: Size Increase Easygoing and literally tons of fun, Brach (Brachiosaurus) walks a fine line between exuberance and self-control. He’s a big, lovable mechanic and handyman who keeps everything from food dispensers to DynoGuard vehicles humming. If there’s a fight to break up or tensions to ease, Brach’s your dino. He loves hamburgers (his favorite human invention), fixing things, and explosions.

Zara Hurlant Species: Pachyon (Parasaurolophus) Armor: Echo Chamber DynoPower: Hypersonic Scream The protégé of Science Tower One’s head researcher Professor Rachus, Zara is an expert in theoretical physics and the Time Slip device. Zara blames herself for the botched time jump and for bringing Apothis with them. Her guilt manifests as a short temper and sarcastic attitude. She’s capable of amazing acts of kindness and heroism, but she holds herself at arms length from others. She resents humans for inheriting the world. She tolerates Jason, but holds Gloria in suspicion and contempt.

Kyle Stowne Species: Thyrene (Ankylosaurus) Armor: Hazmaxx DynoPower: Metal Form Kyle Stowne rolls with life’s punches as best he can, typically by focusing on some problem to solve. A brilliant young engineer and chemist, Kyle was at the edge of the Time Slip and lost his left arm and several horns to the void. He wears (and endlessly tinkers with) a prosthetic arm of his own design. He has a sharp analytical mind with a “light the fuse and run” approach to science. He is obsessed with finding the science behind the Fossil Ghouls’ “so-called magic.” He focuses on his work to the point of ignoring food, sleep and hygiene.

Linhera “Linn” Rex Species: Dromeon (velociraptor) Armor: Fighterflight DynoPower: Cloaking Camoflage Curious, excitable and impulsive, Linn finds adapting to modern life easier than the others. She becomes fast friends with Jason James and loves human culture despite not quite “getting” it. She unabashedly adores action movies, pop music, young adult novels, hyperactive video games, and cute animals both real and animated. Her exuberance helps her cope with the loss of her father and friends, whom she misses greatly.

Jason James Species: Human Equipment: DynoSphere vehicle/battle armor, Podite Multi-Tool Jason met the DynoGuard when his father, Sagan James, moved to Granite Mountain to work for Gloria Anning. He is Linn’s best friend and the first human to become a DynoGuard cadet. Like most boys his age, Jason loves gadgets, video games and goofing off. But his burning passion is cryptozoology, the unsolved, and the unexplained. Now that monsters are real and talking dinosaurs walk the Earth, this minor rebellion against his scientist parents is a useful skill set. Kentra Thagomizer and Tyrannocopter Species: Kentra is a Thyrene (stegosaurus), Tyranncopter is a Tyrannocopter. Armor: Motosaurus DynoPower: Energy Spikes/Plates Kentra and Tyrannocpter did not return with Science Tower One. The only thing certain about their background is none of what they’ve provided is true. Kentra has a smarmy, roguish demeanor and a love of profit and schemes. Tyrannocopter’s artificial intellignece isn’t any better, but at leas the’s more charming. Dr. Cerebrotops Species: Cerosoid (diabloceratops) Armor: Peer Review DynoPower: Telepathy, Telekinesis Mutated by genetic experiments he performed on himself, Dr. Cerebrotops (Diabloceratops) is a telepathic mad scientist and the first Dinosovian Cora’s team encounters after arriving on modern Earth.

Dr. Cerebrotops values intelligence beyond all else, specifically his own. He’s an arrogant egomaniac who defends his positions by invoking the size of his brains, and considers himself shackled by the ignorance of other creatures. His Aegis Armor is a custom suit called Peer Review, which summons Meddy and Cort, a pair of additional cloned brians he uses as assistants. Meddy is optimistic and scatterbrained while Cort is pessimistic and anxious.

Gloria Anning Species: Human Billionaire Tech Mogul Owner of Anningtech and the Observatory where Science Tower One rematerialized (as well as most of the surrounding town of Granite Mountain, Colorado), Gloria Anning stands at the center of everything. The DynoGuard’s patron and most powerful human ally, Gloria funds and defends her time-lost charges from the threats that armor, claws and fangs cannot match: fighting for them in court and in the media.

Gloria’s driven, quirky personality and generosity hide a larger agenda. On the surface she works to forge peace between the Dinosovians and humanity as her chance at a place in history. In secret, she seeks to unlock the secrets of the DynoGuard’s technology, particularly that of the DynoBond, to ensure that place. She claims her plans and schemes are in the best interests of her new friends, but can the DynoGuard trust her… and if not, is there anything they can do about it?

Allegiences & Relationships

As heroes, the DynoGuard get a long better than the Fossil Ghouls, however, they each have their own unique relationships to one another.

Cora sees herself as the ‘mother’ of the team, and as the lone member with sense. She’s probably not wrong in either case. She sees Brach as a fellow adult, if just barely, and frequently clashes with Zara over everything from trusting the humans, to battle strategy, to chore rotation. Her strongest loyalty is to her daughter, Linn.

Brach is the ‘fun uncle’ of the team. He has a troubled past and sees a lot of himself in Zara, but his attempts to reach out usually anony her. Brach neither trusts nor likes Dr. Cerebrotops.

Zara clashes with Cora over leadership decisions. She is fond of Linn because they were both hand-picked by Professor Rachus, and she’s fond of Kyle even if they fight like siblings. She does not trust Gloria, or most humans, a prejudice that leaves her open to Dr. Cerebrotops’ influrence.

Kyle wants everyone on the team to get along. He likes his fellow dinosovians, and the humans, even when they’re being baffling. He fills the mentor/big brother role for Linn and a rival sibling role for Zara.

Linn has a strong relationship with her mother, despite rebelling as most dinos of her age do. She and Jason are best freinds, and she quickly adapts to seeing the DynoGuard as a second family.

Kentra is loyal to herself and Tyrannocopter, in that order. While she would gladly steal from or swindle her fellow dinos, her conscience will always drive her to show up when survival is on the line. She avoids Dr. Cerebrotops as telepathy, as a concept, makes her uncomfortable. Tyrannocopter’s loyalties are to Kentra nd to any other fully intelligent Dinosovian AI that he encounters. His distaste for seeing other creatures exploited occasionally is strong enough to override his self-interest.

Dr. Cerebrotops has a misanthrope’s view of most beings. He respects Zara’s skill as a scientist and sees her as a possible ally against humanity, which he sees as a threat that must be removed or defanged before the rest of Dinosovian civilization exists the time slip. He sees Kyle as a promising student hwo isn’t living up to his potential and only really cares about Linn or Brach if he can impress them with his intellect or power.

Character Vices

While each Fossil Ghoul had a virtue, each Dino/Ally has a vice.

Cora is stubborn. She adapts poorly to technology, has a difficult time backing down from plans and has a hard time admitting she’s wrong, particularly to Zara.

Brach is afraid of his own power/success. He fears the destructive capability of his own DynoPower and underachieved professionally despite being a mechanical genius.

Zara is filled with anger. She was always short-tempered, but losing her people, her father figure, and her world in one day has exaggerated this. In addition to makin gher a classic ‘hothead’ this also manifests as mistrust of humans, something she struggles with through for some time.

Kyle is obsessive. Kyle has difficulty moderating his interests, in both the day-to-day sense and the big picture sense. Once something grabs him it is difficult if not impossible for him to let go.

Linn is impulsive. Linn isn’t as mature as she believes herself to be and is prone to acting on impulse. She makes poor choices when it comes to proving herself or rebelling against percieved overprotectiveness by her mother other the other Dinos.

Jason is vulnerable to peer pressure. He wants to be popular and well liked, and can be goaded into going against his better judgement if he thinks he can impress others, particularly kids his own age or slightly older.

Kentra and Tyrannocopter are self-serving and dishonest, but they have their virtues as well, Kentra has a sense of honor and draws the line at hurting the innocent with her scemes (with flexible definitions of ‘hurt’ and ‘innocent’.) Tyrannocopter dislikes seeing other creatures exploited and sometimes cannot be dissauded from “getting political” by Kentra. Dr. Cerebrotops is not a good person, but even he has a soft spot. Dr. Cerebrotops is a momma’s egg and respects mothers. He may not be friendly to them, but he withholds his insults, sarcasm and condescention when dealing with moms and other female caregivers, even human ones.

Gloria is possessed of a certainty bordering on megalomania. She does what she feels is best for anyone, and does not feel the need to include those people in the discussion. The fact that she is very often right makes

No one, including Gloria, can tell if Gloria is doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, or the wrong thing for the right one.

Caring Reminder

Once upon a time, there was a boy who craved love. Abandoned as a child. Thrown away from the very people whom he sought love and protection from. He couldn’t remember his mother’s face, let alone his father’s. He had forgotten how they sounded like, how they were like. The world was cruel like that, he once thought. Disowned at the tender age of 9, the poor child had to fight tooth and nail in order to survive a world where humans and Pokémon exist as the strongest. He wasn’t always alone. Some call it luck. Others call it fate. But for a child who was disgustingly dirty from head to toe and begging for his next meal, all he ever felt at that time was thankful when he saw that hand – his hand – reach out for him in the cold, chilly air of the dark alleyway. He had served that man for 2 years. The child didn’t know what. He didn’t know why. But the powerful man saw potential in him and offered the startled child a chance of a lifetime. Of course, the desperate orphan took it. This powerful man saw potential in him, did he not? Once the child turned 16, he had made it his life mission to bend backwards for his saviour. Everything he did was for him. Every battle he had won was for the sake of the chairman. The child never sought anything for himself. He only thought, for him, for him, over and over again. The moment he received his very first Pokémon from him, for once in his life, the child felt needed and love. He loved the feeling. Cherished it like his own breath. He wished to feel it more. But alas, nothing lasts forever.

The watch he so guarded with his life felt heavier around his wrist. The pink coat he wore like second skin scorched his chest until he felt he couldn’t breathe. Never in his life would the child think that he would be thrown away again, to be cast away like the trash he once thought he was. He thought of begging. He thought of dropping down to his knees and spreading away his shame if it meant being back under his protective wing. But no. No. The poor child was once again an orphan. And it was all her fault. But before he could curse and cuss and lose his mind over the complete destruction of his plans, it was all her fault too that led him back to a path that shined brighter. --- “Going out, dear?” His head perked at the sound of a familiar voice. A smile curved such pretty pink lips. “Devina asked to accompany me to buy some stuff for next week’s league meeting.” A pink trench coat was snuggly worn on his body. “Apparently it’s Gordie’s birthday next week, so Mrs Melony suggested a surprise for her birthday boy.” A low chuckle escaped at the thought. To know such motherly love exists in this world; Bede found it pitiful he had never felt one since he was born— “Oh?” Opal’s voice disturbed his lazy train of thought. Violet eyes focused on the elder gym leader. Her trusty umbrella gripped comfortably in her hands, Bede observed silently as she placed a seat on a sofa. “I see you’re getting closer to that dear Devina.” A single gulped slid down a suddenly dry throat at the sudden statement. He didn’t say a word, merely fixed his attention on fixing his coat. He knew the old woman was smirking. “Let’s see…” One lanky finger tapped her chin. “It has been 3 years, hasn’t it? Since you two first met?” Oh how well she remembered the child’s youthful appearance. She remembered the now champion before, so calm yet feisty. Though masked an air of serenity every time Opal looked at her, she knew the young girl held so much fire and passion it could melt a Dynamaxed Duraludon. It was no surprise that Devina became the new Champion of Galar who saved the region from the second coming for the Darkest Day. It was a shame the girl liked to dress up in mostly black and red. She would have made a great fairy-type leader if she tried to cover herself in more pink. Silence filled the living room when Opal brought her mind back to reality. She realized Bede hadn’t been replying to her curious question. Aquamarine eyes gazed at the tall young man. He was still transfixed on the collar of his trench coat. She saw his lips purse slightly in faint discomfort. The smirk on her face grew wider. “She’s a nice girl, Bede.” One manicured nail casually traced on the hook of her umbrella. “She often visits me, even when you’re not around.” Sharp eyes caught the little jerk of his shoulders. “Though, I have to admit, she does sometimes ask whether you’re busy or not. It seems our little champion likes your company.” “Who doesn’t?” He quipped quickly – a little too quickly. One breath was inhaled sharply, then held for a few seconds before Bede exhaled slowly. “I mean—” Still not deciding to look at Opal in the eyes yet, he turned his attention to the tuff of fluffy white hair. “I’m a delight to be with. Anyone who gets to spend even a little time with me is considered a treasured moment.” His hair was getting longer, he realized. Momentarily, he brought his mind to whether or not he wished to tie some of his longer strands to a tiny ponytail. “Rest assured, Devina definitely treasures every moment she has with you.” Hands froze on the spot near the back of his neck. Irises shrunk slightly, but Bede managed to stop himself before looking at Opal in a baffled manner. Pink lips trembled once, then tightened hastily to prevent any mistake from being verbalized. Opal found it as a sign to continue. “I can see she cares about you, dear.” Aquamarine eyes looked at her manicured nails for a few seconds. “And I can clearly see you care a lot about her.” Her smirk softened, curled to a warm smile. “I may be old, dearie, but I’m still sharp as a Noctowl. And in all my years of living – both in and out of the theatre – I can see that you two wish for something more than just friendship.” Bede remained silent. His arms now plopped rigidly by his sides. Violet eyes glanced to the left, to the right. “Mmm…” was all he responded. He knew heat had zipped straight to the fair skin of his cheeks. The young man wanted nothing more than to tug the collar of his coat higher, but he knew by doing so would earn a hearty laugh from the elderly. His heart raced faster at the image of the smiling champion. Slowly he exhaled again, once and twice before he spun his heel. “Thank you, Miss Opal.” He truly didn’t know what to say. “I uh…I better get going.” One hand making sure that all his team are tucked inside their shrunk Pokéballs, Bede nodded at her and began walking towards the door. “You know, I’ve never had children of my own. Human children, I mean.” He heard her. He proceeded to march faster. Sadly, he wasn’t fast enough. “I would love to have grandchildren of my own someday.” Bede swore he wanted nothing more than to wrap himself into a cocoon when he heard Opal’s rambunctious laughter. --- Arceus, he hated that his face burned every time he’s reminded of Opal’s words. “Sheesh…” Left and right he shook his head for the fifteenth time. Though heart now beating at a calm pace, Bede groaned silently at the traitorous colour in his cheeks. It didn’t help that the elderly’s words echoed clearly in his mind. “I can see she cares about you, dear.” Like a bell it rang in every corner of his brain. Every time Bede tried to shake his head, the voice only chimed louder and louder like some annoying mantra. “Cares about me…huh…” Finally, he decided to give up. Decided to let his thoughts wander in dangerous territory. Hands tucked warmly inside the pockets of his pink and purple trench coat, he swayed back and forth, and back and forth, honestly dumfounded as his mind led him to a future that put his heart on the line. He then remembered her smile. She smiled often, Bede took note of that about her. For the years he’s known her, not once had Bede ever seen the champion without a brilliant shine of a smile. She rarely spoke much when they first met. But fast forward to the many months and days and Bede soon found out she had a lot of stories to tell and a lot of laughter to bring. It brought a tiny smile to his face. “She cares about me…” The words mumbled without a second thought. Cheeks were now filled with swirls of red, but Bede more or less acknowledged it as he tucked his chin inside the coat’s collar. It’s been a while for him to be cared so…lovingly. Before he could let his fantasies run wild, Bede was instead jolted back to reality to hear some ecstatic screams. Quickly he looked up, eyes widened in surprise at the crowd piling around someone not far from where he stood. He then noticed a pair of long, white, fluffy ears. Like a Boltund, he straightened his back and perked himself to a lively stance; he recognized those ears anywhere. And most of all, he definitely recognized the trainer who had such a Pokémon with those pair of ears. “Devina…” Her name lulled so softly without him realizing it. Joy lit up in a pair of sparkling violets. Hands removed from the comfort of the coat’s pockets, he proceeded to walk towards her. He walked and he walked. The crowd grew bigger and bigger. The smile that was plastered on his face started to falter. The beat of his heart grew faster, harsher. Violet eyes could only see her, focus on her. But as Bede approached the frantic fans, he felt his breathing hitch inside his throat. Suddenly, his steps halted immediately. Pupils shrunk to dots. Eyes widened in sheer fear. His heart that once beat in ecstatic glee now beat for a whole different reason. And that reason alone was something he swore never to feel ever again. Déjà vu swallowed the young man whole. He saw him. The man who disowned him as if he was a piece of trash. Ah, wasn’t this scene familiar? The crowd remained the same, but Bede didn’t see the champion standing awkwardly inside it. No. He didn’t even see the Cinderace that stood loyally beside his fumbling trainer. He saw the chairman. He saw the secretary. Ah, her back was facing him. Just as his back was once. Mouth parted open, yet short gasps escaped what were supposed to be words. He tried to call her name, to catch her attention he so desperately craved. One hand strained achingly by his side. Curled fingers tightened to fists when all he could hear was the excitable chants of “Devina! Devina! Devina!” Ah. He wondered if the heavy weight in his chest was his broken heart. “I’m sorry. What was your name again?” He flinched disgustingly at the memory he so sorely hid from the back of his mind. Unable to bear the emotional turmoil he was feeling right now, Bede quickly turned his heel and marched away from the scene. --- Sometimes Ares pitied his trainer. There were people crowding her again. Humans are weird, he casually thought, giving minimal space for Devina yet at the same time providing protection from those who were a bit rowdier than usual. His trainer seemed quite restless, a bit nervous. Her smile still beamed brilliantly for the people around them. After all these years of knowing her, the Cinderace was still in complete awe at how well Devina hides her emotions behind such masks. A familiar scent suddenly snatched his attention. White fluffy ears perked upwards. Quickly he looked to the right, sharp sight spotting none other than the person his trainer was so excited to meet today. That was the whole reason they were in Ballonlea in the first place. But alas, the second Devina reached the magical town, she was soon swarmed by a flock of fans who, ironically was causing her stress at the moment. ‘Bede!’ Ares chirped, one paw lifted and waved in hopes it caught his attention. But to his dismay, the young gym leader had turned and walked away. ‘Uh oh.’ He knew Devina would be devastated if she and the cocky leader didn’t meet up today. Nonchalant as she was regarding anything emotional, the Cinderace could never be fooled by the feelings she deeply held for the fluff-haired human. He wanted to jump out of the crowd and tug Bede towards Devina. But he didn’t want to leave his beloved trainer either. Orange eyes stared at his still fumbling best friend. Pity turned to annoyance. The people around them were getting irritable, but Ares knew damn well Devina was too nice a person to scoff these people away. So, with Plan B in mind, he nimbly sought out Hilda’s Pokéball that was clipped onto the belt of her denim jeans. --- He was a fool. A complete and utter bastard of a fool. After what felt like forever, the young leader soon found himself alone in Glimwood Tangle. Fatigue overpowering the agony that claws deep within his heart, Bede finally plopped down a random spot and dropped his head onto the top of his folded knees. He knew his Hatterene was fuming at the foul feelings he felt right now. As much as she tried to be empathetic and kind nowadays, Bede almost had half a mind to release the Pokémon and order her to beat the absolute shit out of him. A heavy sigh slipped weakly between quivering lips. “What am I doing…?” A laugh, so cold and disheartened, slipped between the sigh of a question. Both hands were placed on his head, fingers pressing inside the puff of fluffy white hair. “What the bloody hell am I doing…?” He still remembered how fixated she was on the crowd around her. Just like him. He still remembered how cheerful she was while talking to her fans. Just like him. He still remembered how lively her laughter was when she signed some autographs. Just like him. Him. Him. Him. The ache in his chest only worsened. That’s right… His mind echoed dully. She’s the Champion. She is practically the hero of Galar. Of course she would be crowded by people 24/7. Of course she would cater to her fans wherever she goes. The pads of his fingers pressed his scalp. Of course… Of course… She wouldn’t give a second glance at me… His vision blurred. Why would she even care about him in the first place? If anything, he was the one who acknowledged her as a rival. He was the one who went out of his way to empty his schedule just so he could see her. He was the one who put some stupid, idiotic, blind hope that maybe – just maybe – she would feel the same. He was truly a fool. She wasn’t the man he once idolized. No. She was much, much worse. Anger and shame and sorrow and heartbreak punctured holes in his withering heart. Unable to face the nightmare that might turn to reality, he just remained in his seat. Quietly and woefully. The sounds of Pokémon in the woods filled the heavy silence. One hand weakly plopped between his legs. The other now loosely tugged the curly strands of pure white. “Devina definitely treasures every moment she has with you.” How he despised hearing that right now. A chuckle, so bitter and cold, puffed through quivering lips. “As if…” Finally, the other hand dropped to the ground in a low thud. Anger replaced shame. Then anger melted into a puddle of sorrow. The pain in his heart wasn’t going away anytime soon, and Bede opted to just let the anguish eat him away for the rest of the afternoon. He wondered if the reason for his warm, wet cheeks were because of him. Feeling pathetic like the first time he was disowned when he was 16, Bede limply stood up and shoved both hands into the pockets of his coat. He hated this feeling, this pain. Sucking a deep breath and shaking the little tears away from his face, Bede began walking deep into the woods— “Bede!” …Or so he thought, until he heard he voice he so deeply missed. Was he hallucinating, he wondered? For a brief moment, Bede actually concluded that he had gone crazy enough to imagine the lovely voice in his head. But all that disappeared like dust when what he felt next was a gust of harsh wind. Words were void from a face of pure stupor. He turned around, then raised both arms as a shield when he felt wild wind blowing in his direction. The sound of a Corviknight rustled the mushrooms and leaves nearby. The first minute, Bede felt as if he was about to the thrown backwards. Fortunately, once the metaphorical clock ticked its next minute, the young man managed to stand his ground when he felt the wind was no longer blowing at him. Bright red light beamed momentarily. Though vision was now clear of any tears, confusion now stirred his mind to properly convey the situation that just happened— “Found you!” Everything happened so fast, yet the world around them slowed down immediately right at the same time. Arms that were raised in self-defence now stretched to the side when he felt something – someone – pouncing on him. One step, two steps were taken due to the low impact. Though the lights in Glimwood Tangle were never bright to begin with, Bede managed to see the perpetrator of this little chaos that was happening in a span of 3 minutes. And by Arceus, he was sure as hell he was dreaming now to feel the one person he craved hugging him like a lock. She was tiptoeing, he realized that when he felt her face nuzzling the side of his neck. “D-De…!” All emotions that he felt literally 5 minutes ago had exploded into a range of wild bafflement. “Devina?!” His arms still remained apart, though fingers now subconsciously twitch to return such a tight hug. She was here. She was here. She was here. She was here. Just as fast as her hug happened, it – sadly – ended all too quickly. He saw her fumbling with her red glasses. He saw her looking down and mumbling something incoherent and bashful. “Uh…” Finally, a voice, so meek and sweet, chirped its way into his heart. Taking a deep breath, Devina finally looked at the stunned man. “Hi…” Oh, what a fool, she must thought. “I ah…” What would she say? What would she do? She didn’t have a valid excuse to hug him like her life depended on it. If anything, the reason that brought up the desire to wrap her arms around him was that she missed him. Terribly. If she kept these emotions out of check for far too long, she knew her Hatterene would pop out anytime soon and start shaking her violently to calm the fuck down. No one said a word afterwards. He remained in his place, staring and gaping like a dazed fool. She stood her ground, too nervous to move or look up into his sparkling eyes. Maybe it was inappropriate? The hugging him, she meant. As much as they were friends for years now, Devina should keep it in mind that not everyone is as welcoming as Hop. Delicate fingers now intertwined together near her pouted mouth, she inhaled sharply before readying another form of apology— Emotions froze and crashed when she felt her body being pulled in a warm embrace. Well, wasn’t today an exciting day? While she now lay in stupor, Bede took the opportunity to have his heart explode into a million fireworks. “Devina definitely treasures every moment she has with you.” Opal’s reminder rang clear and true amidst the serene hums inside Glimwood Tangle. Both arms wrapped cosily around her, one arm caressed around her shoulder while the other snugged so perfectly around her waist. “I see…” Low murmurs brushed the top of dark hair. Heat now burned right to the tips of his ears, but Bede couldn’t care less as he mindlessly nuzzled the top of her head. She smelled of vanilla and cinnamon. He desperately fought back the urge to pepper kisses on her head. “Um…” Mumbles hit his chest. She could hear a rapid heartbeat. Was it his? Was it hers? She couldn’t tell. Hands still close to her own screaming heart, Devina held a meek whine when she felt their bodies pressed together. “I didn’t wait long.” Was all she heard. Was all it took to send shivers down her spine. Whether or not the two realized their actions were anything but platonic, they only remained in the comforting embrace. Devina was too embarrassed to point it out, yet unspeakably thrilled that it was happening. Bede was too engrossed in the fact that she did put his best interest at heart, and he couldn’t give a Rattata’s ass about dropping his dignity in front of her. If it meant being able to have her all by himself, then so be it. Giggles tickled his collarbone, causing him to shiver deliciously. “That’s good…” she sighed. “Are…Are you okay, by the way?” she whispered. Once upon a time, there was a boy who finally found love. this is going to be the longest essay ever & i’m not sorry bc @irenaemilija & i have a lot of headcanons.

when anton and irena fell in love and pictured their forever, children were not in any part of it. anton never saw himself be a father and irena didn’t want children because her own family experience as a child was so shitty ? after her convoluted abdication, she wanted to live life without pressure or obligations. however, they were nudged about children a lot as the years passed and eventually after lots of therapy, irena began to warm up to the idea. yk what these two are like, when one wants something, the other one will enable it. so these kids were carefully planned and had after a lot of discussion. the pregnancies themselves were traumatic, irena didn’t take to being pregnant very well and anton kept apologising for getting her pregnant everytime he witnessed her discomfort ( he’s soft ok sue me ).

there was parental panic like oh god how do we be parents, how is life going to change, what are we going to do, what if we're shit at it and screw them up, what if they grow up to be the antichrist. ——— this made them grasp blindly at anything and everything they could to learn” books, classes, advice from nice normal people, an equally paranoid team. AS A RESULT, anton and irena unintentionally eventually became very hands-on and involved ( but also quite rookie, confused and not-as-authoritative ) parents even though they did have help.

irena named them. these children were put on this earth for the sole purpose of torturing irenton and not in the way you might think. they wanted for nothing and went on many travelling adventures sitting on anton’s shoulders with irena ready to fight anybody who upset them. anton and irena didn’t magically change, when they became parents. they didn’t filter themselves and were simply genuinely curious about their children and wanted them to grow up safe & healthy and find their place in the world. the result shockingly was two individualistic, well-adjusted, secure, albeit headstrong and stubborn people, who unfortunately, really love being around their parents and talking to them about stuff bc they’re fun and therefore will meddle and cockblock and give unsolicited romance suggestions to their own damn mother and father WHO JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE. error 404: boundaries not found. irenton thought they could resume their idyllic ‘let’s run away and do things together’ life after both kids hit 18. this backfired big time. alen and greta are their parents’ keepers. they own them. they fuss over them, they keep them in line, they believe their parents would be lost without their glorious presence. there is nowhere in this world irenton could go where alen and greta can’t find them & join them bc they know their parents too well and lowkey get a kick out of it tbh, they’re demons. irena is secretly baffled that she has managed to raise kids that actually like her & that’s something she is so proud of but also like alone time w anton??? when?????

ALEN got the best of both parents in terms of looks. it’s hard to tell who he really resembles more, but he has irena’s deep brown eyes and an even brighter smile than vera, anton and sol put together, jaws chiseled like both parents, anton’s enviable hair with a darker hue of brown. he’s unseated anton from his wonderbrow throne because his are thicker. he’s a true creative who unlike anton, has channelled that wild imagination and gift with handling people into something tangible. he had a strong personal style by age six and a really good eye for themes and colours, by his teens he was doing theatre school, dabbling in modelling, and playing the guitar, piano, drums — and for some strange reason, rugby. he received military training as a royal member like his father did, did his MBA and after that his pursuits became more technical in the creative sphere, he became adept at photography, capturing landscapes and shooting film, visual storytelling, and was the media’s favourite darling with his smile, comfort in front of the cameras and generally interesting life — the opposite to irena at that age. he’s a passionate guy, something he inherited from both parents and enjoys his family dynamic, because honestly seeing his peers and their parents really made him realise how he and greta really have it good. he DOES also... have irena’s temper, and is confrontational. he doesn’t necessarily start arguments, but he’s argumentative and will engage when provoked and will finish it — pursuing the matter until the case is closed, he won’t stop once he’s started and won’t let you run away from it.

he and his sister tend to bully and tease their parents in a good-natured way with their quips and pranks, thinking they’re smarter than both parents and have the sheer balls to give their own parents relationship advice. prob have been doing it since they were 5. ( this is anton's fault, who told him to ask toddlers what to buy mommy for her birthday and tell them all his decision struggles? now they think they're cleverer. ) they’re also not ashamed to tell their parents tmi things about their lives and irenton tries to find new ways to die each time.

GRETA got vera and ebba’s startling blue eyes and anton’s hair colour. her features are much softer and rounder ( probably from irena’s mother, but we don’t talk about her in this house ). she was born 2 years after alen, much to his dismay and chagrin. they grew up fighting, wrestling, bickering and picking on each other, but also being each other’s best lieutenant outside of the immediate family sphere. greta is a genius at puzzles, games, complex equations, and does occasionally have the tendency to copy her brother and compete with him, for no other reason than for bragging rights and to annoy him ( it’s ok he does it right back ). she is also the most chill zero-drama albeit sarcastic person in the room who will be like, jESUS cALM dOWN drink some chamomile tea. barbarians really offend her tbh... unless she’s hitting her brother. which she doesn’t really do in public anymore. greta is also the legend who has kindly and resoundingly let her dad know know he isn't hot shit since age 11 months. anton has spent every year since trying to impress her. he’s still trying. other than that she’s loyal, generous, and an activist. she wants to change the world via sustainable technology and has changed her major about 7 times, girl’s just so interested in so many things. today it’s anthropology bc why are you the way that u are? the next it will be finance, and then computer science, then who knows tbh. out of the wider bernadotte family she’s the one who takes charge and plans big family events because her event planning skills are that good, and is gifted at herding a crowd.

I don’t know whether to laugh or get annoyed but I just got into a debate with someone who thinks that Mike only likes El for her looks,because”she’s got no personality “.And I just feel so baffled because it’s nothing like that.

It's shocking and ridiculous how many people act like El has no personality??? I mean idek what to say to those people because they're literally just wrong like how can you look at a character like El and not see her personality? She's kind, brave, clever, curious, sassy, selfless, caring, loyal, honest, empathetic, dramatic, freethinking, individualistic, observant, intuitive, perceptive, passionate, sensitive, understanding, compassionate, adventurous, stubborn, strong-willed and ten trillion other traits I could list off for hours. El has a very intense personality, but because she's also a quiet and reserved person who doesn't express herself in the most obvious ways, so many people assume that she just has no personality. When you look at a character like El, you can't look at the words she says if you want to understand her, you have to look at her actions, how she's feeling, how she reacts to situations, etc. Just because she's not vocal about everything she's feeling doesn't mean there's nothing there. (And coincidentally, Mike was the first person to actually look at El beyond just her words and really understand her. He knows all about her strong, intense personality. Some people in this fandom just can't look beyond what's directly said to them). And honestly, those people who say El has no personality are also the same people who end up infantilizing her, and they treat her like a toddler, or like a baby who's just a blank-canvas they can project whatever they want onto. El most definitely has a personality, some people just aren't perceptive enough to see it. Mike isn't one of those people, and I think this show has made it clear time and time again that he cares about her no matter what she looks like

It would be cool to have a rundown of Guin’s relationships with all the companions (including maxson and whoever else you’re close to of course) ((I would say Lucille but I don’t know much about her sorrz)) like I know you don’t like deacon but does guin get along with him? Is she sneaky or all melee and mouthy like Hancock? Just curious!

She’s mostly all melee (and mouthy) She is very fond of her rocket powered sledgehammer. And damn it but this girl LOVES a good fight. It’s great cuz she’s usually really nice so she’ll be like covered in raider blood and cuddling with a puppy.

She’s absolutely vicious with enemies though. Well, i suppose we all have to work off our inner turmoil somehow.

(hilariously these are all simplified summaries of her relationship with these people. there are a lot of other things I didn’t discuss with some of them cuz it would just be..too long. So many layers to all these relationships and characters..like endless onions.)

I’m gonna start with Shaun briefly.

Shaun: Guinevere never knew she could love something as much as she loved that little baby in her arms. He was everything to her. Despite honestly wanting to curl up and give up after getting out of the Vault she kept going for her son. Part of her reasoning for accepting Danse’s request to join the BoS was because..a military organization? They had to be the best chance to find her son right?

Then..she meets Father. She’s thrown for a loop but..he’s still her son? She tries. She REALLY does. She begs him to stop. When they attack and she finds him in his pod thing she begs him to come with her. She can save him just PLEASE come with her. His rejection devastated her and his death even more so.

She knows the Institute needs to be stopped though so she swallows everything down and goes on with the plan. It very nearly killed her. She’s..suicidal afterwards and has come really close to ending it all. How can she live with herself? Killing her own SON? Her son was the only thing keeping her going. She’s always been reckless simply because she doesn’t care if she lives or die but it gets much worse after the Institute. (she also feels a lot of guilt for destroying the Railroad too tbh. She feels guilt for a lot of things..but mostly her son)

However she has synth Shaun and..he’s Shaun. She doesn’t blink at taking him in as her son because he IS. She absolutely spoils him. Maybe some part of her is trying to make up for everything and it comes out as her trying to give him everything. Well, that and she simply loves him more than anything. He keeps her going.

Danse: He’s her best friend first. She falls for him pretty damn fast and why wouldn’t she? Under all that gruffness is a genuinely good man. She’s amazed by the complete and utter faith in her he shows when he brings her into the BoS. She’s only ever had that from Jax and maybe a couple other people pre-war.

He’s loyal to a fault, brave, and he genuinely cares for the people under his command as well as the people of the Commonwealth (only the people he considers people however..Which is where they would clash. Ideals. She has absolutely no problem with non-hostile synths and ghouls. She really doesn’t. She doesn’t like the way Danse treats them, she doesn’t like the way the BoS sees them and she’s honestly not afraid to make sure he knows it.

At the same time she’s too forgiving, a little too willing to look away from the reality of just how shitty the BoS is because..she loves them. It’s her family. Danse and Maxson? She’s in love with them. Surely things can change right? It can get better..she needs to believe they can. (random: its not surprising she latched onto the BoS after going through so much damn trauma. flaws aside it’s a very tight knit group, she feels like she has a family again)

Anyway back to Danse in particular.. if they argue it’s probably about non-humans. Or her generally being self-destructive and reckless.

However, BB comes and honestly there isn’t even a second where she considers hurting him. He’s Danse. He’s her Danse. It doesn’t matter if he’s a synth. She loves him and she knows him. She left the Prydwen knowing she was going to do whatever it takes to save him.

Danse..he loves her. She’s so caring (too caring sometimes), loyal, loving, brave, honorable. She’s also stubborn, reckless, hot-headed, sometimes a tiny bit arrogant and self-destructive.

But her good qualities outshine her flaws in his opinion. God knows he has his and…well, she wouldn’t be HER without them.

She brings a good amount of humor/lightness to his life. While she can of course be serious when she needs to be, she’s usually a bit of a goof and while he probably chastises her he’s usually amused by her antics. He’s baffled by the amount of affection/love she has for him too. what did he do to deserve that? he doesn’t know.

They’re head over heels in love okay. She’s flirty and it would leave him speechless more often than not. It still does even when they’re in a relationship sometimes. But she’s always there for him despite everything she’s facing? He doesn’t know how he could ever repay that..except by being there for her too.

He’ll also stomp your ass if you hurt his girl. Like don’t do it, man. He will fuck you up. He’s a “little” overprotective sometimes. He’s terrified of losing her and she doesn’t exactly put his mind at ease by being as reckless (and downright self-destructive sometimes) as she is

As time goes on after BB he learns a lot from her, she helps him come to terms with his identity and..she just makes him happy. Life isn’t..easy. It never will be and god knows he’s hurting and so is she but..they have each other. That’s enough.

Also they’re both a little bloodthirsty. Who doesn’t enjoy a good fight? Nothing like smashing some skulls and ridding the Commonwealth of assholes with your best friend and lover. #cutecouplethings

Maxson: She immediately liked him a bit..if only because he’s a dork named Arthur who named his Blimp the Prydwen. As a fellow Arthurian Legend nerd she loves that. And also there’s something..hilariously ironic about them meeting. Arthur? Guinevere? Fate is funny like that sometimes, eh?

But then she really meets him and he’s passionate as fuck and it’s impossible not to get swept up in that. And she sees someone who genuinely does care when he tells her “I care about them, you know. The People of the Commonwealth.” She believes him and she wants the same thing.

She’s intrigued after that first meeting. He’s..gruff but she still remembers the young man who looked so vulnerable during their first meeting. And for all the flaws she grows to learn he has? She still believes in that man. She believes he can be better. He just needs to..stop being a bigot and she believes that’s possible.

She’s idealistic in that way. Perhaps a better word for it is naive?

But in canon I have my doubts on if they could be “endgame” BB kind of put a huge damper on things aklfdkhfdh. She loves him still and she tentatively forgives him if only because he didn’t kill Danse. She knows he cares for Danse. She KNOWS that there’s a good man in there. She just wants..him to let himself be one. Why can’t he just LISTEN.

However this strange balancing act she has to do with the both of them post-BB is bound to end badly. You can only stuff things down and ignore them for so long and eventually their different ideals are going to clash. ESPECIALLY because Synth Shaun is now in the picture. If there’s anything she loves more than Danse and Maxson it’s her son. She loves Shaun more than anything.

I think it’s obvious why that might put a strain on her and Maxson’s relationship. ashgfdh

Sigh. Perhaps it’s an unpopular opinion but I believe there’s hope for Maxson. And the only way they’re going to be able to stay together is if he changes at least somewhat. If not, she’ll have to leave him eventually. And the BoS. Which..hurts her more than anything. Since that’s her family..and she does truly, genuinely love Maxson with all her heart but..she has to do what’s right for her and her family.

So in reality she’d probably end up with Danse and just Danse. She’d miss him till the day she dies though.

Maxson..he’s..got a soft spot a mile wide whether he realizes it or not. Honestly let’s be real no one would get away with the shit in BB and still get promoted to SENTINEL except her.

He absolutely admires and respects her as a person and a soldier. She’s..a pain in the ass sometimes but she’s courageous, strong mentally as well as physically, deadly on the battlefield, and kind (sometimes to those who don’t deserve it in his mind. god fuck you maxson) They butt heads sometimes just because they’re both stubborn and hot-headed but it usually doesn’t escalate into actual fighting.

He falls in love with her. He doesn’t know how to show it or express it but he does. It scares the shit out of him but he craves it all the same. Like Danse he’s incredibility protective to the point of being annoying.

She brings out some of his better qualities really. Since he’s always so serious it’s good to get a little lightness in his life and she genuinely does make him laugh. (and even smile).

They clash on ideals. They’re both extremely stubborn and hot-headed. They honestly don’t fight often but when they do you can be sure it’s probably about differing ideals. That can get nasty.

Elder Maxson is..very different from Arthur Maxson. She’s so very in love with Arthur Maxson. That’s a big thing for him. He can be Arthur. He doesn’t have to be Elder Maxson with her. It means..a lot to him. He hasn’t really ever had that?

He tries to be professional of course. To act as if he doesn’t have..feelings but he’s not as good at that as he thinks. It shows if you know what to look for.

Random but he admires her mama bear attitude. She’s wonderful with the squires and they adore her. The way she searches so tirelessly for her son and then even adopts that..”thing” (in maxson’s asshole mind) and loves it? Sometimes, if only for a moment, he wonders what it would have been like to have a mother who loved him that much (NOT A MOMMY KINK THING THO FDHKDFh)

They love each other very deeply but my heart breaks because they don’t exactly have the most promising future in canon. (*latches onto my happy AU’S*)

Codsworth: Robot son. She loves Codsworth just as much as she loves Shaun. They’re very close and he’s always fretting over her. I almost forgot him and even though this one is short I want to stress he is very important to her.

Nick: Nick is her best friend. He’s not exactly..happy she’s in the BoS for obvious reasons but he knows she doesn’t share their views. She actively pushes back against them in fact. Like her he’s an idealist, an optimist and he believes that maybe, she will make the BoS a better organization. If anyone can, it’s her in his opinion.

She loves Nick. He’s been there for her through her whole journey pretty much. He’s always there to offer a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on. He’s always helping someone despite the fact people are cruel to him. He’s an amazing person and she’d lay down her life for him without question.

They “bicker” constantly which is just playful bantering back and forth. They’re very close though.

Maccready: Her best friend. Neither really knew what to expect when they signed up together? But they quickly bonded. He reminds her of her late husband, Jax to be honest. He’s goofy, a bit morally dubious but he’s also loving and loyal to those he loves. They’re both goofballs too.

They particularly bonded over the fact that they’ve both lost a spouse. They’re both parents and they connect over that. He’s there for her when she kills her psychopath of a son, when she adopts this..synthetic version of him. And he’s there for her and she’s there for him.

She’s never met Duncan but she already loves him as if he’s her own. Amusingly enough she probably would have ended up with Maccready if she wouldn’t have met Danse and Maxson.

Hancock: Like Nick he isn’t exactly happy she’s in the BoS but he knows her enough to know who she is. They get along right away. They’re both dorks. They’re both goofs and they both want to ultimately do good. He’s a “terrible influence” according to her boys and well..they’re not wrong. Like Mac they do get themselves into trouble a lot. She swears up and down she doesn’t do chems with him but she does lmao. More importantly though? He’s got her back and she has his.

Piper: They’re both quite high strung. Passionate. So they get along really well. Piper finds her a blast to travel with and hey someone who’s fun to travel with and who also wants to help the Commonwealth? Doubly awesome! Guin tries to mother Nat sometimes who finds it a bit irritating. Piper finds it endearing.

Preston: They’re good friends and he’s more often than not quietly chuckling at her antics. They have a very soft, chill friendship. Sometimes they just sit and enjoy each other’s company. He admires her for her kindness and she admires him for his.

Curie: She’s extremely protective of Curie. How can she not be? She’s so soft, gentle and endlessly kind. She nearly bit Danse’s head off for his comment about donating herself for dissection to the BoS. Curie loves her just as much. She makes her feel safe, loved and she’s an endless inspiration to her.

Cait: RIDE OR DIE BITCH. The only thing Cait doesn’t like about her tbh is the fact that’s she way too..giving sometimes. She bitches about it but she usually just rolls her eyes and moves on. However they’re close friends and like Hancock and Mac..they get into trouble together (even after she’s clean heheh). Cait loves when she’s feisty. They both enjoy fighting a bit too much tbh.

But it’s the unconditional love she shows her that gets Cait. She has no idea what she’s done to deserve it but..she’s glad she has it. And she loves her just as much.

Ada: She like..adopted Ada the moment she met her.

Old Longfellow: They’re good friends. He finds her a bit exhausting to travel with but in a good way.

Gage: I honestly have never traveled with Gage so I can’t really say

Strong: He hates the men in metal suits..but he respects her. She’s a strong leader and she’s helping him find the milk of human kindness. He’ll smash all super mutants for her damn it

Deacon: She never met Deacon. She never encountered the railroad until she was ordered to kill them. I think I can say they would have..gotten along to some to degree if things had been different. She wouldn’t like his dishonesty though. Not at all.

X6: ^same as Deacon. She met him but never really traveled with him or became close to him. She probably didn’t even realize it was him she was killing.

Also just for fun I want to mention.

She has a huge crush on Ingram.

I also look for someone who is dominant. I need someone who can take charge of a situation and make decisions. I need someone who will take care of me when I can't take care of myself. I want someone who is passionate, protective, and sincere. I also look for someone who will understand my love languages, which are quality time and receiving gifts. I am a very shy, quiet person. I don't really talk that much and don't like to socialize. Once I'm comfortable around you, you'll learn I'm also dramatic, creative, analytical, loyal, honest, protective, and a bit of a bitch at times. I tend to be drawn to the people that others are scared of. I always look for the good in people, and am not quick to judge. Although I'm a very kind person, I'm not quick to trust. BB ship - Mey-Rin

- Mey-Rin doesn’t get much free time, though, on the days when Sebastian has had enough of the other household staff members making messes and mistakes, he tells them to take the evening off because he can do it faster and better on his own. On such evenings, Mey-Rin is content to do whatever you’re doing, and if you want to be left alone she’ll go practice her self-defence skills.

- Mey-Rin would love your flair for the dramatic and would very likely compliment you on these skills. She would have access to the Phantomhive Library and would be able to take out books for you to read when you visit the Manor, and Sebastian would be on hand to make sure you’re met with hospitality befitting of a Phantomhive guest. So you could ask him questions about things you’re curious about.

- When there’s a large social event at the Manor, you’d be invited as an honorary guest, though attached on the bottom of the expensive and elaborate invitation is a chicken scratched message: Please make yourself comfortable in the kitchen when you’ve had enough, yes-yes! from Mey-Rin. You’re left wondering how she managed to write on it without Sebastian seeing it beforehand.

- Mey-Rin fumbles and falls a lot, but as a Phantomhive servant, she’s a dark horse. She sees, hears, feels, more than she lets on, just like her training. She is badass and knows a lot about the world and its cruelties. She would likely have experience with depression and even anxiety, so would be very patient and know what to say or do to help you when you needed it. She’s used to taking care of Ciel so she’d know how to take care of you when you can’t. She can’t spend much time with you, but whatever is spare at the end of the day is yours.

- She’d watch you flourish as you become more comfortable and open around her, and would love knowing that she sees the parts of you that few get to really see. Mey-Rin would always defend you as fiercely as she defends the Household and everyone in it.

Sherlock - Molly Hooper

- Molly’s job can get pretty violent even on the best of days and some of the things that she sees coming into the morgue only have a place in the best of horror book and films. When she comes home, she tends to invite you over so that you can watch something together, or just spend a quiet evening together doing your own things. Sometimes you go out together, but for the most part, you’re indoors. Molly loves helping you with your make-up or reading your poetry if you let her.

- She is a bit of a wallflower and can often fade into the background, but when you go out together or it’s just the two of you, you’re all she’s focusing on. When you go out together and she dresses up along with you, you do each other's make-up. Sometimes she’ll talk to you about her work and listen to you talk about yours, and she’ll pass along all the office gossip that she picks up on.

- Molly wouldn’t ever tell you to stop being dramatic; she loves seeing you when you’re animated and in your own element. When you want to be alone, she gives you the space you need, but she’s also right there when you don’t want to be alone. If you’ve had enough at a party, she takes you out back until you're ready to go back in or she’ll just take you home.

- I think Molly has anxiety too so she’d definitely understand. Because of how Sherlock and others treat her, she often doubts herself and her abilities but given the chance, she can really shine and kick ass. So she’d always be there to listen and hear what you have to say because she knows ow it feels to be seen as small and unimportant. When you can’t look after yourself, Molly will take your best interests into account and look after you until you can look after yourself. Molly is so much more than the show writers let her be and she’d be fiercely protective of you and yours. She would always look out for you and also for herself and would be incredibly loving.

- People aren’t scared of her, exactly, but people also don’t really listen to her and she’s often marginalised. She’s so kind and selfless and would do anything for anyone. She’d love you for you and all your flaws and would protect you from yourself when it’s called for.

Phantom of the Opera - Nadir Khan (Daroga)

- You’re incredibly creative and your hobbies are physically relaxing but intellectually stimulating. If you ever wanted to share your poetry or your stories, Nadir would be there to read, listen, compliment and then offer constructive criticism if you wanted it. He’d be proud of your creative pursuits.

- Nadir is friends with the Phantom so he’s well-accustomed to people having a somewhat dramatic flair. Your dramatic flair would definitely be a more refreshing change as yours is less toxic than the Phantom’s. He has a wealth of culture, languages and stories at his disposal and I think Nadir would enjoy talking with you over a cup of tea and tell you some stories or teach you things you want to learn.

- He’s very protective of those he loves and is caring and affectionate, loyal to a fault. There’s not much he’d refuse you if you asked him, and you’d always be his main priority. In a large social event, he’ll make sure that you’re either by his side or with someone like Madame Giry, who can keep an eye on you to his standards. When you want to leave, you leave, simple as. He just takes really good care of you.

- Nadir is used to dealing with the Phantom’s mood swings, impulsive bad decisions and dry wit, and he’d definitely be empathetic towards you and always listen with his full attention to everything you have to say. He would come up with a solution to any problem you had if you wanted one, and if not then he’d just be there with open arms and two ears to listen. When you can’t look after yourself, he has a firm hand and gets you back to where you need to be, though he doesn’t push and knows when enough is enough.

- The two of you actually have a lot of common ground in who the two of you are, and you’d get along really well and only be seen as a positive force for each other. In Kay’s version of Phantom, Nadir had a wife and son who both died tragically of illness (if I remember rightly), so he’s been through some of the darkest times in one’s life. You’d only bring some of that light back to him just by being you, and in return, he’d shower you with all the time and gifts in the world.

Doctor Who - Ten

- You’re very imaginative and Ten would only fuel that by taking you to all your favourite places in the past, present and future, and getting you to tell him some of your stories. If you’re not comfortable with that then he would understand but he would be the most supportive person of your artistic temperament. He would tell you to hang onto your words and never let anyone take them away from you. Make-up confuses him so when you put it on he’d ask you a gazillion question at such a speed that you have to ask him to slow down and ask you one question at a time.

- Oh. Oh my goodness, you two are the sassiest couple. You know how Ten often goes on a sarcastic tangent when his enemies demand something of him and he’s chuckling and saying something like, “the Doctor will not”? Yeah, oh my goodness adding you to the mix means that there’s twice the amount of talking and tbh you probably baffle the monsters you’re going up against. You’re always his main priority and he’s always focused on you when he’s not saving a planet or fixing the TARDIS.

- We all know how protective Ten is of those he loves, so he’s the first person to verbally slam-dunk someone trying to insult you. You won’t even have processed what was said to you before he’s in the face of whoever insulted you, and his insults are so scathing the person’s future grandchildren are going to feel the burn of the Doctor’s words. When you’re in a large social event, he holds your hand and pulls you through the crowds of people, keeping a close eye on you to make sure that your surroundings are bearable for you. As soon as they’re not, he’s whisking you away to someplace less crowded and won’t hear a word about you apologising.

- He’s been alive for 900+ years so he’s seen and heard, experienced and witnessed the absolute best and the worst of humanity. He’s so wise, so lonely, that he knows exactly how to comfort you. Sometimes, he’s comforting you before you even know you need to be comforted. He doesn’t alwas have the words you need to hear and that’s okay, but he always has two sympathetic ears, two arms to hold you, two hearts to beat reassuringly when you lay your head on his chest, and a boatload of stories to make you laugh until you’re doubled over and howling with tears pouring down your face. Sometimes he needs comfort and a listening ear, and you support each other through it all. A lot of the time he’s in charge because you’re literal worlds away from home and he’s the only one you have got to depend on, especially in life and death situations. So he can definitely take care when you need someone to care for you.

- You’re just so strong and protective together, always looking out for the other and defending each other to the death if it came to that. It’s not always easy because sometimes he has to shut down and internalise and sometimes you don’t feel like talking, but the good days far outweigh the bad days.
