My entry for #HeavenfellContest2024 by @heavenfell-au ! I choose the scene in chapter 15 (Sweet Brothers), where Frisk meets A.D. :3 Whenever I think of Their Wings, it is the first scene that comes to my mind. Is it because I love animals? Because it was a moment of fluff and peace amidst Frisk's painful journey? I think it's both. And yes, the dog is adorable <3

I've been working with shadow puppets for a while now, and I decided to try my hand with Eowyn's characters. I really liked the result! (I've been inspired by Michel Ocelot's works) :3

I actually discovered this AU from the comic below :)

But I quickly realized that the comic is actually the epilogue of the AU :'O

So here:

Heavenfell happens in a take from Underfell where Frisk goes to mount Ebbot to die :)

But but buuuut, they end up alive and with an underground filled with violent monsters with issues.

The story is on AO3 with some drawings in between and it's a REALLY fun read 💕

The epilogue is also completed on AO3 in comic style~

Autumn. For John, it was the worst time of year. Not for the dreary weather, the darkening of the sky or the chill in the air that accompanied the turning of the leaves. No, in fact, that was what brought him comfort in these times. Instead, it was the memories of times he would rather forget. That, and because if anything else was going to happen, to seek him out and hunt him down, it would be now.

He walked through one of the quieter streets in town, seeking more pleasant thoughts. The harvest festival would be soon, he was at least looking forward to that! Halloween... not so much. But the kids enjoyed it, at least.

One hand clutching a take-out coffee, a seasonally appropriate pumpkin spice he had been meaning to try for some time, he tucked his other hand into his heavy coat, which all but obscured his clerical dress underneath, leaving only the white collar as an indication of his role, something of an invitation for others to approach and address him.

@heavenfelled sent in - an  arm  draped  along  the  back  of  the  sofa,  casual  in  its  proximity  to  aziraphale's  shoulders.   long  legs  bent,  knees  spread  to  just  barely  ghost  against  the  other's.   the  room  was  dark,  save  for  the  glow  of  the  television  screen  that  illuminated  their  moment  of  intimacy.   on  screen,  leonardo  dicaprio  waxed  poetic   ;   some  butchered  shakespeare  that  drew  a  BARK  of  laughter  from  him.    '  i  don't  remember  there  being  guns   -  '

head  tilted  back  and  grinning,  they  looked  to  the  angel.    '  reckon  it's  lending  weight  to  their  moral  arguments?  '    a  tease,  as  always,  and  a  wink  from  amber  eyes.    '  you  can  pick  next   -   no  promises  i  won't  nod  off,  though.  '

the angel was completely distracted from the movie by crowley's closeness. a thick swallow , eyes darting to the side for a moment then returning to the scenes of the movie on the tv. "i don't remember the ball being like this." the angel mumbled. who thought it would be a good idea to modernize shakespeare like this? it was absolutely atrocious. a frown was placed on the aziraphale's face ; hands wrapped around the warm winged mug. "juliet looks nice." of course he'd think that in the angel costume.

he turned and gave crowley a look at his comment about the guns , lips pursed in a 'shut up.' kinda look. ocean eyes fluttered down to look at the knees - ghosting with their own. a subtle bite to their bottom lip was given before leaning over , placing the mug on the book littered table. he was silent , slightly adjusting until the angel was leaning against the demon. "it's a bit chilly." a lie. "if you want to sleep - there is the bed upstairs." practically unused as the angel himself didn't sleep that often until the feeling of panic and anxiety took them ; the picked up habit controlling their body.

he pads up behind emmanuel in socked feet and joggers, silent if not for the exaggerated yawn and stretch of long limbs. "mmmorning," drawled with the husk of sleep still at home in their throat. he comes to a halt and wraps his arms snug about the angel's middle, chin coming to rest atop his head of dark curls.

the angel could feel them stirring before they even made the decision to open their eyes, and in a way he could feel their arms around him before they'd even gotten up. still, when it happened at last he held back a breath, and leaned on them just ever so slightly, that warm joy beaming from the inside of him all so clearly.. "to you, too."
