don’t mind me this is the smallest thing i could possibly be focusing on but i am actually going crazy over how that weird shadow figure and m. bition (mainly just m. bition tbh) both just call the fix ‘fix’ when the fix said before to conrad that he would prefer ‘the fix’

and yeah maybe it’s a matter of him not just telling them But it’s also very telling that he felt that he COULDNT tell them what he actually preferred. when conrad, right from the get go after using ‘fix’, did a 180 and actually asked what the fix wanted, and then continued to respect that (‘mister the fix’)

why are pedestrian crossings named after animals??? like to the point of farce

Zebra Crossing: makes sense, black and white stripes on the road like a zebra

Pelican Crossing: Pedestrian Light Controlled Crossing, abusing acronyms a bit but makes sense I guess

Puffin Crossing: Pedestrian User Friendly Intelligent Crossing, taking the mick, you decided to call it a puffin crossing and then you came up with the acronym, and you STILL coundn't make it work

Toucan Crossing: designed for pedestrians and cyclists to use at the same time, two can cross, two-can, tou-can, toucan, actually that one is quite clever

Pegasus Crossing: for horses as well as people, YOU HAD AN ANIMAL NAME THAT MAKES SENSE, HORSES, ITS FOR HORSES, CALL IT A HORSE CROSSING

While I’m on the subject of UK traffic ‘laws’ and the refusal to widen their quaint antique roads, I’d like to share my least-favorite British road sign:

100% guaranteed to make me close my eyes & hold my breath. Like they know this is happening, there are head-on collisions being dodged so regularly that it necessitated a sign. In our area, it often appears on one side of a tiny bridge where you cannot see the traffic on the other side (like picture no. 2 above).

Sure there’s often a sign like this on the other side of the bridge, but . . . 

. . . who KNOWS what’s going on over there? Are they even reading that sign? Did they read it & just go anyway since they can’t see oncoming traffic over the hump of the bridge? You’re taking your life in your hands every time.
