Firey flames

Star walks up to the tall girl in the living room. She smiled weakly as she approached her. The girl was around the same height as her but didn’t seem like the girlfriend that she knew. Something seemed off, suspicious, demonic. She placed her soft hand gently on the figure “um hi hanakins I was wondering if you would like some hot chocolate” the figure stayed there cold unresponsive “um bapy?” She poked the girl an alike an owl the figure turned screaming “WHO DARES TOUCHES ME. KIHAKI THE DEMON” a slight smoke and flame came off her. “Uhh umm... your not Hana..? Who are you..?”

“Pitiful. Always wanting that girl. I only just got hold of her body” Star backs up afraid. “YOU TOOK HER. WHERE IS SHE?!” She exclaimed at her top of her lungs. Accidentally dropping the tin plate for the drinks. It came down in a massive bang. “God calm. I kihaki am Hana. We share the same body but different looks and personalities. And who must you be AFFECTING MY HOUSE” Star faintly gulps grabbing her arm “I.. I’m Star..! Hanas girlfriend..! We have a lot in common! More than you may think!” Kihaki backs away in shock.” You think a puny human like yourself is similar to me kihaki queen of hell?! PAH I love to hear it” slight flames appeared from the small demon as she laughed and cackled. “I have a demonic side to.” Star shouts attempting to get the demon kitsunes attention.Kihaki stopped laughing and sneers “oh who is this demon..?” They said in a sky tone. Star took a small deep breath and sighed “I am Demios. You should know them right” a single tear went down her soft face as she slumped her body on a small ragged up sofa.

Kihaki froze. Like Ice. The smoke dimmed down and flames evaporated. “Why do you have connections with my demonic bride.” She says in a menacing tone her voiced sounded whispy as she sits down beside the small child who was trying not to cry. “She shares my body after an experiment gone wrong..” she says trying not to cry. The demonic kitsune sways her tails and sigh. She gets up and brings over the hot chocolate star prepped earlier. It was still hot and the cream has slightly melted. “Here take this” She handed the tears eyed star a mug and like a small child she sipped at it looking down not saying a word. Kihaki realised something was bothering her. With the Hana side influence she shuffled her body over to her and asked quietly “did I scare you..? If so I’m sorry I tend to over react..” Star looked away “it’s..ok I guess I understand..” she sipped her hot chocolate again and placed it on the side table. Kihaki sighed “have I done something to hurt you..?” She asked softly. This wasn’t normal for her but she knew for Star and for Hanas sake she would need to. “No.. but she did..” Star took off her arm out of her jumper and showed something horrific. Her arms burnt by hex fires by a demon constantly burning her alive. “Oh god..” she said as the pained star showed her back “I’m covered in them thanks to her.. the pain keeps continuing.. all thanks to my demon..”

The small and upset star had a slight faint glow around her thanks to the small halo above her hair. Hey soft blue eyes had little tears hiding within as they flow out slowly. Gently like a graceful swan. Kihaki places her cold hands on stars knee. “What caused Demios to be like this.. she hasn’t been out in ages.. no offence to you” The demon sat on edge worried about her dark star but really concerned about the brighter star. The Girl swayed her tails around then eventually wrapped herself in them. She took a faint sigh and started to speak “it all started a few years ago after the incident.. the incident which still scares me..” She picked up her lukewarm got chocolate and continued “before combining souls we were two separate beings. The pure state and the neutral state. There was another the corrupted state as well but they don’t matter at this very moment” Star sipped the lukewarm drink and continued again “ During an experiment on our behaviour something got to Demios and well she started to growl and insisted we fused. She always was against it for our own protection but something seemed off. Apparently the scientists injected some sort of corruption into her which changed how she acted.. I fought her and tried to protect myself.. but I lost.. and now me and her share bodies” she sighed getting herself into a more comfortable position “she went through so many experiments and more trauma over me..” she said starting to cry “I just.. want the pain.. the pain to stop.. it hurt kihaki these burns are killing me” she covered her face and lunges into the demon for a hug “please...help.. I want this torment to stop..”

Kihaki gently patted her on the shoulder looking around hoping to see some moral support. “Um but how can I a demon help an innocent child like yourself?” Her cold hands wrapped themselves around the crying girl hoping that it will help. “Stop her... comfort her.. anything.. please..!” She let out a deathifying scream “PLEASE.. I CANT DEAL WITH THESE BURN ANYMORE THEY ARE GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY AAAAA” she screams hoping the demon realises the pain she’s going though. “OKAY OKAY” the kitsune said panicked as she struggled to get to her feet “I’ll talk to her” Kihaki semi regretted her decision a little but if it will stop the pain of demioses host then it’s a risk to take. “For my demonic queen”

Star weakly smiled “thank you,” she muttered letting out painful tears and started to walk to the kitchen “I’ll let her free” she says scared. As she was about to walk through the door a faint cry came from the living room “Please be careful brightest star” Kihaki said softly. With a faint smile and a cry “I’ll be ok” she walked in and closed the door. There was some screaming then a massive crash “GOD DAMNIT” something said from the kitchen it didn’t sound like star something more demonic. Kihaki took a deep breath and walked toward the kitchen hesitating as she held the door. After regaining herself she walks in “Hey ba-OH GOD” as she walked in she was nearly hit by a teacup “GIRL YOU NEARLY KILLED ME” She shouts “So?” The demon who was once star slumps on a chair by a small table “What Do you want kiki” She said in a slight huff. “I heard youve been upset over th-“ Kihaki tried to explain before being interrupted “IM FINE OK” she threw another tea cup at the wall then slumped down again.

Kihaki took a step back “I know your upset but I wanna help. Your distressed and this isn’t the Demi I know so please talk to me.” after some slight hesitation the other demon spoke “You don’t know what I’m feeling plus why would you care? Us demons live off of others suffering Isn’t my suffering pleasing you?” Kihaki froze it was true both of them do enjoy others suffering but this time it was different and more painful “Those people who made you caused this? Right” Demios was shocked how did she know about it. Filled with some anger she exclaimed “WHO TOLD YOU I DEMIOS SHOULD BE THE STRONG ONE NOT THE WEAK ONE ESPECIALLY TOWARDS MY VES-“ “Your vessel told me,the brighter star she is worried about you” Demios backed up a little “When did you care about my vessel kiki Thats our main threat to hap-“ Kihaki screamed “YOUR CURSED FLAMES ARE BURNING HER ALVE. SHES SUFFERING THANKS TO YOU” Demios froze in fear. All her anger subsided into sadness “No. that’s not true.. it can’t be” she says upset a slight blue flame surrounded her. The torn wings on her back hugged her and her tails wrapped around her. She curled into a small ball. “I-I didn’t realise I was hurting her..” she faintly said to kihaki “Ok.. I’ll tell you what’s up hoping it will stop burning her my closest friend..” Kihaki jumped back a little. Her closest friend? Demios always complained about her vessel normally taking control what’s up with this change of heart?

“It all started years ago when me star and atarla were made.” The wolf demon stated “Me and star become really close since we were always paired together and because atarla was sent as a decoy. We happily played and chatted with one another until one day..” Kihaki sat down intrigued “What happened Demi?” She asked softly. “Well, things started to change.. some demonic thing offered me my soul magic and fire for a small bit of my soul I accepted it not knowing it was a rouse. That thing corrupted my soul and caused me to go insane. I became what I prevented.. I didn’t realise what I had done till I woke inside her body.. now those sudden memories coming back has caused me so much pain and it sucks...” the Young demon started to cry “I didn’t mean to hurt her.. I didn’t realise my flames were burning her alive..” she got up and ran into Kihaki’s arms “I’m sorry I’m sorry!!” They said crying “I’m the worse” They said. With some tear of her own Kihaki hugged her close “it’s ok darkest star I’ll always love you” lilac flames engulfed the couple as they weeped. Realising the time Kihaki whispers “we should sleep demi it’s getting late” with a faint nod she grabbed the other demons hand and the burning of the demonic flames have stopped. All was at peace for now until it struck again.
