I absolutely need to share this

The “little“ summary:

Holivia was rumored to be in Italy by Xmas, such as her brother, her sister, his sister, his mother, his mother's boyfriend and the whole gang... According to these rumors "they" (whoever that refers to) were there days ahead of Christmas...but then the dates shifted, and "O" went from "even left before Christmas" (to spend her with her kids) to be there “after just for pics (27th?)”, Harry left right after the walks Christmas not without leaving behind a nice picture of his hands & (some "Succession tv show") merch taken around the 17th...🙄😓

In the meanwhile, a non-father Louis was reunited with the Californian kid for Xmas. Instagram stories bombing as sources, where the nail colors of the sister in question were quite tricky, the lack of natural reactions, the combo of characters in the scene...(maybe they were in Italy too…😏) made out the whole play doubtable not less shocking though. I cannot stop imaging this child, facing all those presents together in an awe... by November? beginning of December? 🤣 (who knows?) They Larry taught me well how not to trust appearances. The timeline is flexible when it comes to them, and I am not ashamed to admit that I see things with a filter and a shield.

A couple of days later, in a 11 habitant remote village in the middle of Italy, we saw the LOT jacket walking by a man... Holivia! What a surprise!! Just to discover some minutes and a few memes later that they were actually being followed by an entourage... ( why am I cracking? this was supposed to be serious 😂… or not!) were those some adventurous fans that followed them?, lucky ones that were just camping in the countryside in December? the named siblings... ? (“Oh… oh…who?!” I dramatically question myself resting my hand over my forehead…😮‍💨)

And yes, a reminder of the Holkers (I like to imagine there exists a Holivia-walker version that does the dirty jobs… not this one thoug but.. funny idea!).

Along with the pictures and the many rumors from before-during-after seeing Harry, Holivia and different family tree members (depending on the version) were “caught“ walking nonstop until they were identified, we also got the usual "Italy location" in Harry's ™ IG profile, Alessandro's NYE coming up party rumors, and A LOT... A LOT of backlashes and calling out... fair and not so fair judgments all thrown at once.

On the other hand, after people digitally stoned Gemma for traveling, turned out she was sick ("no covid") in her bed; the one spotted now in Italy apparently is Louis ( who has come back to his NFTs chatrooms on Twitter)… I meeaaaaaaaannnnnnn….🙄

The media has followed the flow all this time, making the expected noise with the most accurate sources as usual: Rumorology. Harry getting to know the kids "slowly" (when we got this same rumor back in DWD filming season), Harry introducing his mother and his gf so the wedding is coming ( when we got this already during LOT), even now apparently they are both in LA again... 🥱

All this mess without counting on that it all started when Emma got covid, making Harry consequently a direct contact, which triggered some reactions from the very beginning; and not commenting on how this brittle fan base perceives and experiences every step of the way.

ObViOUsssLY, I don't know what is going on with them, have several possibilities considered but this is not the post for it, just have to admit that this is weird and ugly perceived no matter what part of the fandom you are looking from; even if you want to justify it I have and keep on trying, it smells like a purposely total mess! We are mere observers, so lets hope for the best, lets hope it is worthy.

Going back to November when the news of Jason and Olivia splitting I always thought it was kind of weird because he was just talking about her in an interview a couple days prior and the fact that her and her team put out that they broke up in early 2020 was always something that seemed fishy. Then there were pictures of them outside of a relationship counsellors office and then seeming really affectionate reinforces the rumours that we’re out before and My belief that Olivia ledJason on to think that they were going to work on the relationship once she got to London after filming DWD but once he saw the pictures of her And Harry at the wedding came out I think that’s one it kind of ended for them permanently. When they get to London you can see the post pictures of them outside their house that they seemed very cold and distant and I think that’s when Jason kind of just put his foot down with the whole situation because he was blindsided. I don’t think that Harry was aware of the timeline of Jason and Olivia’s relationship until Italy. Jason finally was able to have his side of the story put out and confirmed what we all thought was true that Olivia lied about the timeline and they did break up just a couple days before the news was announced. And confirm that he was never given a reason and it was all very sudden. After the optics came out a baby about a day or two later the when they get to London you can see the post pictures of them outside their house that they seemed very cold and distant and I think that’s when Jason kind of just put his foot down with the whole situation because he was blindsided. I don’t think that Harry was aware of the timeline of Jason and Olivia‘s relationship until Italy. I think over the course of almost a year now Jason has showed that he is the better parent and that he is the better fit parent and I think if they were to go to court the judge would obviously side with Jason I think Olivia knows that which is why she is kind of going by his rules she’s barely with the kids and she’s barely around them for anything but I also do think that was Jason‘s doing. She showing that she’s willing to leave her kids and go on tour with her boyfriend for publicity but she can’t be there for their first day of school

hello! (and yes i did thank you asjfkdkd) sorry this is going to be a bit of a Journey because my time in the fanbase in the og days was pretty isolating and i was going through some Shit for the latter half sooo it might come as a surprise how things turned around for me!

BUT when i came back last year, i started looking into everything from the very beginning because when i left, i completely left. like, didn’t check up on anything or anyone, was super embittered and unhappy and basically believed all the stuff i thought about harry and louis’ relationship was an illusion. so, i wanted to see if everything really was just something i believed because other people said they did, or there was actually something there.

like i won’t lie, i was already drifting in and out of the fanbase in early 2015 and then babygate took me super off-guard—somehow—and was kinda my last straw? so coming back i was thinking, “okay was i actually delusional for four years, or did i let something that was most definitely a stunt coupled with some feelings of resentment undo everything i believed?” because over the four or so years even as i’d randomly listen to some solo music and the old jams i’d get back to thinking about larry and well, after my re-education and some reading into the post-hiatus stunts? it was definitely the latter.

i guess coming back i was kinda on the fence about them still being together without ever having a hard break though, but only because i was still trying to make sense of the big stunt timelines—at least just for a little while—but it didn’t take long for me to make up my mind like “oh nah these bitches have been in love for a whole ass decade”. really, looking into everything from their music released post-1d hiatus to when they’d both seemingly disappear and then reappear around the same time (like i see you, jamaican holidays, and maybe italy too), anon receipts taken with both a grain of salt and a lot of wishful thinking, collectively told me they were together?

if i had to pick some key moments though, i’d definitely go for:

— harry’s “i fell in love to this song” before performing wmyb on tour and straight up not singing louis’ parts in some 1d songs

— louis back pedaling on his stories about listening to abba with his ‘best friend’ and jamming along to 1d on a drive with the same ‘best friend’....like you cannot expect me to believe when he hastily added in the OH AND ME GIRLFRIEND ELEANOR WAS THERE TOO with the latter that that wasn’t damage control, or that ollie was the one who was the supposed best friend in these contexts

— b-stage my beloved....i think about harry looking up in the stands with that special smile and blowing kisses and i know we don’t see him all the time or wholly know him like a friend but i have never seen him give anyone that kind of look before except for louis :’)

— “‘i went to amsterdam without you’ is about going to amsterdam with me girlfriend.....” bro why are you missing her if she’s right there....is it because you ditched her on her birthday to chill with some fellow homosexuals on the gay strip?? and/or because your real beloved actually wasn’t with you??

— ‘come so far since princess park’ aka is there a nonspecific heterosexual explanation for this because i will never believe his intention with that line was to showcase how much has happened to him personally since then, when he and harry were gushing over living together there years after the fact

— harry and kasey musgraves performing shania twain’s iconic love song and kasey changing the lyrics to ‘they’re still together’ to fit a third person narrative instead of just satisfying the role in the duet and harry’s knowing smile when she sang that line like....i guess i love to weep??

— aaaand the interview in which clifford—like audio ‘proofs’ are kinda hard for me to follow because i’m hoh but my ass definitely heard harry hissing something that sounded like ‘clifford’ so i’m counting it—totally gave harry away by barking like a maniac in the background before (presumably) louis yanked him into another room...i definitely think they’ve done video call interviews while the other one has been in the room watching the whole thing (i swear harry was in the room during louis’ hits radio interview for example)

there really are a lot of convincing moments when i really think about it buuut i’ll stop there, because it really was a combination of everything from delving into how some post-hiatus stunts were/are so obvious—louis clearly loathing danielle, eleanor following or preceding every louis post with a hashtag spon, holivia being dead obvious pr fodder while hamille was pointedly formulaic, the entire nonsense that is babygate—to very surface-level lyric analysis, rather than one or two specific events. some may speak louder or not require as much analyzing or investigating as others but all-in-all i think the collective is more reliable than one or two particular moments!

but yeah. there’s just so MUCH that while it’s not as obvious as the old days where we got to see them showcase their love even when they couldn’t sit next to each other in an interview or change lyrics to make their love songs more personal in front of thousands of fans—ie just being in the same vicinity and getting to watch them interact, really—the hinting is nowhere close to non-existent. it’s there, just less obvious and maybe better planned.

If it's fake, it's ALL fake

I'm not one to talk too much about the stunts, and I've said all of this over on Twitter, but I wanted to say it here too.

Rumors over Holivia in Italy have been rampant with not a lot of hard evidence. The few pictures we've seen have been far away, from the back, blurry, and worthy of being called "Wellington quality." Today we saw a close up of what was meant to be Harry's hands holding his phone, but not even an inch of his face. Honestly, I took one look at that photo and called bull--I've seen enough pictures of Harry's hands that I know he doesn't hold them that way. Don't get me wrong, it's close. It's close enough that it's supposed to make you believe it's him.

These blatant PR photos are meant to make you believe they are vacationing together. The PR machine is so effective, all it takes is a few well-placed rumors and some very dubious pictures for some people to believe our Harry is out gallivanting around Italy. If you believe them, then that's fine. That's what you're meant to believe. I won't fault you for that.

Personally, I believe this is 100% PR. They aren't really dating. So, IF that was really Harry, he left his villa for a few minutes for some pictures and they didn't even show his face. More likely, he lent someone his phone case, and a hoodie and voila, a man in black vans becomes Harry Styles.

How can a handful of PR photos make anyone a weak Larry when in the last year alone, we had a big ass H on Louis' shirt during his livestream; and then he changed his Spotify album covers to Harry's tattoo art on his birthday.

We had H walking around London wearing a blue bandana and trans flag colors in June and cosplaying as L in suspenders and red pants in Denver (wearing the peace ring) in September. So many coded messages on T-shirts and friends and family sending us clues.

Don’t let a few PR stunts change what the loud messages mean. If the stunt is fake; it’s all fake. THEY ARE CLOSETED. That means, they aren't going to reveal where they really spent the holiday. H is not vacationing in Italy with O, at the most he took a walk and some pics were taken. At the least, he lent his jumper to someone who you’re meant to think is him.

I also want to touch on the Christmas photo at the Tomlinsons. I also believe the whole BBG mess is a stunt. Everything I've read in the archives screams fake. And if it's fake, it's all fake. That photo could have been taken last summer. It could even have been taken ON Christmas, but it doesn't mean the child, or his family spent the holiday with any of the Tomlinsons. ONE picture does NOT make a family holiday. But it made so many people believe it was true.

Don’t let the hysteria on your timeline make you lose sight of what’s real. Use your eyes and your common sense to see through the Bull. I will leave you with this picture from @amymariephoto on Twitter.

I’ve noticed that these more recent Holivia articles with the Italy pictures have been sanitizing the Holivia timeline by either writing that Jason and O split in early 2020 which we know Jason denied or saying that Harry and Olivia met during DWD and started dating months after she announced her split from Jason. Both are wrong but their PR teams seem to be working hard to make it look less bad and messy and rehabilitate them or at least to ignore it was obviously an affair.

What kind of dynamic Do you think it is?

I just think there’s a lot more grey area than most Larries care to admit. I do think there’s evidence to suggest that Harry and Louis were/are involved. If Larry wasn’t real, that shit shouldn’t be there. Period. I’ve tried to debunk Larry and I can’t. At least, not entirely. But I don’t know the exact boundaries or timeline of the relationship. I have a very specific memory of an old interview where Louis said he came home and Harry was having sex, so he slept in the airport. I literally cannot find any mention of it now, so I’m worried I’m misremembering. Anyways, I can believe that some of the relationships and hookup stories were more-or-less fake for the sake of publicity, closeting, or a combination thereof. I’ve already given my thoughts on Elounor. As for Harry? I believe that Larry had something going on in 2018, but Larries forget that Harry and Camille spent a lot of private time together, too. And he included her voice on “Cherry.” Likewise, I have no difficulty believing that the impetus for Holivia was PR. But if it was nothing more than a tense PR relationship, would she have spent all that time with him in Hampstead over the summer? Would she have vacationed in Italy with his family? I don’t know. Maybe! But part of me thinks that’s unlikely... I apologize if this response seems wishy-washy, but the truth is that I just don’t know the exact dynamic of this relationship. I know this isn’t what people want to hear, but I think there’s a strong possibility that Larry isn’t a clearly defined, monogamous relationship. At least, not anymore.

It’s all a publicity game, engineered for maximum coverage: Holivia, Jolivia and the world of showbiz

Jason’s show, Ted Lasso, got 20 nominations for the Emmys, and yes, they were announced today:

Also today, Jason is the exclusive GQ cover for August, which ends up creating headlines everywhere:

This is the headline:

They start off by setting up Jason as a person of reflection, who has gone through hardship, heartbreak, but who is ultimately like his character, Ted Lasso, decent.

They spend much of the article recapping Jason’s life and career, and really focus on changing the image he had previously (of being an asshole) to one of a lovable guy that’s just like any of us:

They humanize him, and explain a bit of his experiences being in the spotlight. Explaining that he’s had to learn how to live with “people’s misperceptions of him”. Namely that he was viewed as an asshole frat guy, when in fact he says he’s not even the type who would be in a frat.

They also talk about the similarities between Ted Lasso and Jason, how they’re both filled with optimism and vulnerability. And Jason says that Lasso is “the closest thing he has to a tattoo” and that it’s “the most personal thing he’s ever made”:

Then he talks about his split with Olivia and Holivia.

He says that on June 5th he went back to NY with his kids after being in his “Notting Hill” apartment in London (forgetting he was seen in his and Olivia’s house in Barnes several times). It was the 1st time in 2 years they went back to their Brooklyn home after it was renovated, and previously Olivia had rented out an apartment so they could be in NY, but that wasn’t their home.

He clarifies that they broke up in November 2020, and that they do not live together.

GQ then says that his breakup became a tabloid story, which was made worse when Holivia was announced, which then led to the inconsistencies regarding the breakup timeline -> (never mind the fact that in their breakup announcement People reported it was at the start of 2020. And that this was announced in Nov, 1.5 months before Holivia. Why not clarify it then? Or better yet, why not make the announcement with the correct date? Oh yeah, bc then when the news of Holivia breaks in January, the press can go nuts over inconsistencies thus creating a shit ton of promo for everyone, including Jason, right in time for awards season).

He says he doesn’t have total clarity on why their relationship ended. That perhaps in 1, 2 or 5 years he will understand. He talks about taking responsibility for his part in the split and learning from it, which implies he was also to blame and their relationship wasn’t going that well:

After harping on the similarities between Jason and Ted Lasso, and both their lives, Jason clarifies that the storyline for Ted Lasso having relationship issues and getting divorced was actually created in 2015, and by him and Olivia. So in the end it has nothing to do with his current life:

And lastly, they end the article by rewriting his image again. Explaining he’s not heartbroken, that he has chosen to “land like an Avenger” and move forward. He’s moving on with his life, and taking this as a lesson to learn about himself and life:

So here’s my conclusion:

This is a fluff piece to make him look good and rebrand his image as a decent guy, while heavily promoting his show. It comes on the same day as Emmys nominations were announced, thus guaranteeing him maximum coverage in the press. Not only that, but it also comes on the heels of the latest Holivia paparazzi photoshoot that has dominated the press for the past week. And bonus: it creates even more drama by adding fuel to the fire of this “dating scandal” by pretty much insinuating that Jason was blindsided by the breakup and that Olivia left him for Harry, even though he talks about “taking responsibility [for his part] in the split”, which implies their relationship wasn’t good to begin with.

This is HIGHLY calculated timing and PR. And just like what they did the first time around during the 1st Holivia drop. 

Then:

Step 1: pap pics of Holivia drop - press goes crazy, Holivia is everywhere, they’re the hot new couple! Romance isn’t dead everyone!

Step 2: Jason has articles about his split with Olivia and how he feels about it. They add timeline inconsistencies. He’s heartbroken.

Now:

Step 1: pap pics of Holivia on a romantic trip drop. Press goes crazy, Holivia is “so in love” and “so serious”, there are yacht kissing pics.

Step 2: Jason has articles talking about the breakup with Olivia for the 1st time ever, and how he was blindsided but ultimately has chosen to grow from it and move on.

Let’s wait now for the response from the Holivia side. It’ll come. 

This is a publicity game. It’s so obvious. They’re playing the press for maximum coverage at every turn. Don’t forget Jason is also involved in this PR game.

This will ensure that the press not only has the yacht “so in love” pictures and story to go on, but they also have the end of Jason’s marriage scandal to talk about for the next few months. Just like they used the Holivia holding hands and the inconsistent Jolivia breakup for over 6 months of press coverage.

It’s the exact same strategy. Exact same.

Remember when I said last week that we would have Holivia content in one form or another for the next two weeks? Well here we are. 

So the timeline goes:

June 30: Holivia spotted in Italy for the 1st time, in Porto Ercole

Jason and Keeley are papped in NY, their relationship confirmed in the press. Jason is seen with his kids.

July 1: Holivia in Island of Giglio.

Jason & Keeley are papped on several dates in NY. Ted Lasso is deemed a strong Emmys contender.

July 2: not seen, but they were taking the yacht pics in Monte Argentario.

Ted Lasso is said to be expected to “sweep Emmy nominations”. And everyone loves Ted Lasso.

July 3: Holivia in Rome, attending the England v Ukraine match

July 4: not seen

July 5: not seen, but Yachtgate pics from Backgrid drop and Page 6 exclusive. Pics from Monte Argentario on July 2.

Page 6 exclusive about Jason being in NY with the kids and how he’ll go on a promo-tour for Ted Lasso soon. They talk about how Jolivia take turns taking care of the kids and that he’s dating Keeley.

July 6: Articles about Holivia’s “romantic” Italian getaway & how well Jolivia are co-parenting

July 7: Articles about Holivia’s “steamy” kiss and “romantic yacht dance” on their Italian vacation

July 8: New pictures and Page 6 exclusive of Holivia in the yacht. They try to distort the timeline and say it’s a different day, when it’s all from the same day. Emphasis of articles is on how hot shirtless Harry Styles is kissing Olivia.

And another Page 6 exclusive about Holivia being “holed up at a romantic luxury resort in Porto Ercole”.

July 9: More articles about hot shirtless Harry Styles kissing Olivia. 

Articles about Jason throwing the 1st pitch at a baseball game with his kids come out.

July 10: Quiet, they’re not seen. Some articles about them kissing in Italy and Jason with the kids at the baseball game.

July 11: Article about Jason and Keeley being a couple.

July 12: Quiet, they’re not seen. Articles about Ted Lasso’s “overwhelming” reception.

July 13: Jason’s cover and GQ feature drops, full press coverage ensues. Emphasis is put on his split with Olivia and how he doesn’t have a good understanding of the split. Emmys nominations are announced, Ted Lasso gets 20 nominations. 

So all in all, I think this is just another step in their PR game. I obviously don’t know their plan for sure, but I think it was decided in the summer of 2020, or whenever Harry joined DWD, Jason was in on the whole thing. Then they started seeding Holivia, Jolivia breaks up (I guess for real, since their relationship wasn’t doing that well) and they drop the article about it. Jolivia are still friendly and covered in the press that way.  Then in January, Holivia news drops, and they begin to implement their PR plan, complete with Jason being “blindsided” to create more drama for the press. It revamps Jason’s image, and he gets so much publicity. So do all their projects and Holivia. 

Ultimately it doesn’t matter if a party in this stunt looks bad. They will keep moving forward and releasing new info about past things and rewriting the story. It’s all about publicity, so a temporary dip in the public’s perception can then be fixed with their next press release.

I heard those pics were from Friday. Is that true? If so it would make sense bc they showed up to the game tanned, she was on social media yesterday (which she does when she’s separate from him based on the past) and I feel like a one week vacation is all she could do with her kids

That is plausible, because they were seen in the area during that time, then traveled to Rome after for the game.
