do you think hugo ever had trauma after V&T7K?

oh ABSOLUTELY. like listen i subscribe to the idea that hugo and varian absolutely forgave eachother but hugo very much betrayed varian. that kind of emotional damage doesn’t get healed overnight. not to mention varian wasn’t in control, but that doesn’t erase the fact ulla attacked hugo using varian’s body. idk i kind of headcanon that hugo will go through episodes (especially after nightmares) where he’s genuinely stressed being around varian and he can’t figure out why- but it’s because his body is reacting on instinct and his lizard brain doesn’t know how to distinguish between ulla and varian.

and i hc that varian is going to take a long while to rebuild that trust again. that voice in the back of his head that his loved ones are working against him got just that little bit louder when hugo betrayed him, not to mention he’s also terrified hugo will disappear/leave him so he’ll go through periods where he needs hugo in his sight at all times- at first it’s because he’s still trying to figure out the whole trusting hugo thing but later it’s because he needs reassurance that hugo is there but obviously hugo doesn’t know the difference. varian latches onto him and desperately needs him in his sight and all hugo can think is that it’s because varian doesn’t trust him because he ruined everything.

Guys, I'm kinda new to tangled on early 2021, I finished the series ofc, and I just found out about V&T7K (Varian and the seven kingdoms) months ago and I can't seem to understand where it leads to, I know it was a spin-off Idea, but where does this fanarts came from? Does v&t7k became a comic or a fic or something? I'm lost and I can't seem to find anything other than just fanarts of them... I wanted to know because Varian is my favorite and I've been looking everywhere and all I found on the creators of the AU(?) Is just them answering some questions of it... I need a few pointers...
