this is not the exact one I watched but I saw one of these "dish scape" things at someone's house who actually has TV (like they pay for dish/cable instead of just watching stuff online) and I think they're meant to be relaxing atmospheric stuff that you mostly ignore, but I sat there for 35 minutes watching absolutely engrossed.. further proof that I genuinely think my brain is incapable of experiencing boredom lol..

#IT'S BECAUSE there's so many little details that like you can spend minutes just scanning every corner of the image and taking it all in and #you keep finding new things! like 'oh I didn't know that blade of grass moved!' or 'I didnt see that bucket before!'. And then on top of #so many details - some things genuinely do change. The one I saw was a Beach house scene and sometimes a bird would fly by or ONE TIME kite #came out of nowhere. a sandcastle built and unbuilt itself. there's a firepit and it comes on when the sky changes from day to afternoon!! #this is like watching a sports game to me. I need weird detail oriented friends who will sit for 20 minutes staring at a barely moving pict #ure & cheer and clap with me when a seagull flies across the screen ghgj.. firstly saw a red deer then a red squirrel in the morning

then my dad & i went to the coast & sweet jesus the amount of action!!! there were great northern divers everywhere, most in full breeding plumage, some even calling!! there was a small group of male red-breasted mergansers displaying & then a huge flock of 350 common scoter, all packed tightly together

onto the next bay, yet more divers, mergansers & a kestrel. THEN out very far from the shore we saw a fucking MINKE WHALE surface a couple times!!!!

on a little further: dozens of rafting manx shearwaters, ive never seen them raft before!! it was flat calm so not enough wind for their liking. THEN 3 whole harbour porpoises feeding for about an hour among the shearwaters & i even saw them logging on the surface, again never seen that behaviour irl. THEN. ANOTHER FUCKING MINKE WHALE. THATS 2 WHALES IN 1 DAY

Its especially fucking crazy when people try to deny what came out against wilbur because. He literally responded. Sure, he played down what he did and made a terrible apology but he was responding TO SHELBY. How could anyone deny that he did it when HE admitted he did it by making a response. Even the abuser himself isn't saying he didn't hurt them, yet certain people are??

the thing is ultimately many people just.. will always believe the abusers word over the victims. it doesnt matter that it says a lot that he didnt even actually say sorry, that multiple people who knew him confirmed he was horrible to them and scared them into silence, that its on camera that he treats physically hurting his friends as a joke and normalizes it as being playful and just a trait of his so no one speaks up, it doesnt matter that even people who considered him to be like family to them dropped him in support of shubble because they believed what she said.

bullying is such a fuck up type of phsychological abuse(i hate that people don't take it seriously to call it an abuse but it is a type of abuse), you don't know what to do, is helpless, when we were kids, everybody used to say(mostly our mother) "just ignore them, they will eventually stop, they will lose interest if you show no reaction", but don't do anything/show no reaction also makes things worse(i hated it, it never helped), it only proves how much of a victim you are, it shows that it won't have any consequences, they can do anything with you whenever they want CUZ YOU ALWAYS WILL DO NOTHING, but if you do react things can go two ways round (or you intimidate them in a way that they will stop trying messing with you(very difficult) or will make worse cuz they will find entertaining), is a no escape situation, you feel stuck, theres nothing to do, every little move or word makes things worse(the advice that i hated the most and mom always used to suggest was "just play along with it, smile, find it funny too", i never bought it that bullshit, they werent my fucking Friends, i not gonna let myself/ourselves being a joke,what they do it/say it hurted me, i can't just pretend it doesnt upsets me)
