Purchasing a new laptop is fucking stupid. Go buy a ThinkPad T430 from some random eBay seller and install Arch Linux on it like the trans catgirl that you are.

can i still say “I use arch btw” if I use manjaro?
manjaro is a branch of arch, in much the same way that linux mint is a branch of ubuntu.
all of this is to say, that it means nothing because you can do whatever you want to; lie on the internet. who cares

Some videos by Programmers Are Also Human inspired me to depict an alternate version of Twilight Sparkle as some Linux fangirl and FOSS dev living in a shitty studio apartment.
(It's part of a whole fanfic idea, actually. Not sure when I would start writing though.)

Oops
Due to reasons not related to breaking my pc for an amount of time, i have learned that the base package blob for arch linux only considers linux itself as an optional dependency
Its pretty funny, but then you realize its so you can use other kernels and not just because breaking you system should be something you shouldn't be stopped from doing

I'm very happy to see some games that have terminal interfaces as an essential part of gameplay (Lethal Company and Voices Of The Void) become really popular. Even if they're very simple, it's fun to be typing things instead of going through a menu or something like that.
