#i love doing that thing where you flood your vision with a primary colour and exhaust the cells in your eyes that perceive it #and then when you look away for a little while afterwards you can't see that colour (or at least it's a lot more muted in comparison) #i mean it's kinda like giving yourself temporary colour blindness but i love messing with my perception of reality #gives me a better understanding and appreciation of the world outside of my own subjective experience #and in the case of the colour thing specifically it's like. when something's missing you appreciate it more #as well as noticing things you may not have before and gaining appreciation for them too #it's a very grounding experience imo. seeing the mundane again through almost literally a new set of eyes #even if it is through artificially limiting your senses for a time #i mean if a shrimp that sees 16 primary colours or something got limited to just what we see for a little bit #would it not be able to appreciate those last three primaries so much more? #would it not even more greatly appreciate the breadth of colours it sees normally? #i like this ask a lot actually fksjks ^^ #02

Alright, I've had a few drinks, so here's my (potentially controversial) hot take for the evening:

Syril Karn has Attack of the Clones Anakin Skywalker energy. All I could think of during that scene this week was the moment where Anakin is leering at Padme and she tells him he's making her uncomfortable.

I'm still annoyed to this day that Anakin was creepy to Padme and then still got the girl. Liked them much better as a couple in Revenge of the Sith, but by all accounts, it should never have worked out in the first place. The Clone Wars did so much work to make Anakin a likeable character.

I'm going to be really upset if yet another Star Wars man continues to violate a woman's boundaries (even if said woman is a space Nazi) and then has it work out in his favor. That's not how this works, and I am very exhausted about the fact that the vast majority of the romantic relationships in Star Wars don't start in a healthy way (and then continue to be toxic af until one of them dies).

Anyway, you can absolutely disagree with me, that's just all I could think of this week.
