jokes aside, he really enjoyed doing a live with you. fans can see a sort of softness in him when he’s with you. even if his face is relaxed he’s still smiling.

Toshiro/Shuro is overhated

ever wanted to talk abt something so bad but u have so many thoughts so u cant even begin to organize a sentence. thats me abt shuro and its why i cant give my thoughts on him. i NEED to get this out of my system bc its takign up so much memory in my brain i need that space for thinking.

so i was really surprised to find so much hate for him even tho he seems pretty normal and rational out of the whole cast. ive deducted that its mostly abt his laios fight and that the ppl who hate him probably had bad experiences w social cues and relationships w neurotypicals bc of that. theres no way to avoid it bc its pretty much Right In Your Face that laios is ND. but thats not the only factor in why their relationship is rocky. its also the culture barrier. u have to understand toshiro was raised as JAPANESE NOBILITY ofc he would be a little conservative

also culture shock. idk if u know this but jp culture is very Mind Your Own Business like a lot of other asian cultures . ofc hes gonna be weirded out by a stranger invading his space. also his names not even Shuro. its just yt ppl not pronouncing his name right and settling for whats easiest.

ok you get the gist of the culture aspect of it. lets go into the ND/NT clash aspect of it. yes i understand its pretty hurtful to never be told when youre acting inappropriately. i am autistic too lmao. but you have to understand that shiro is one guy and he even does realize that repressing things is one of his fatal flaws. again. asian culture. non confrontational. that sorta thing. but these are genuine frustrations. if i were him id be annoyed too but id speak out about it. set boundaries. bc im blunt. shiros not. he was taught crazy strict manners (hierarchies, respect, politeness, etc).

his problem isnt ableism its a culmination of culture barriers, how he was raised to behave, and terrible lack of communication as thing caused by "all of the above" plus he just generally keeps to himself a lot which means repressing frustrations that will explode leading to a pathetic fistfight while hes starved, exhausted, and dehydrated. also. if he was ableist he would hate laios. he doesnt hate laios. at the end of the day, they are friends. NT and ND ppl can be friends u know. there will be rifts (like their fight) but you just have to communicate misunderstandings. theyre gonna be fine lol

anyways that was my whole spiel abt it. i think i got everything out that i wanted to? my head still feels a little full so i may add more later when i remember something

also i think its a little unfair to rule out the possibility of laios and him just being 2 very different kinds of ND bc its very common for misunderstandings to occur even then. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT BUT WE NEED TO COMMUNICATE TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER! but for the sake of interpreting the Fight as a commentary on NT social rules and ND frustration, ill say toshiros NT. will we ever know? hes so far in the sidelines... youd really have to dig in the extra content to see the intricacies of his character.... please give him a chance

hello :) 1. VIOLENTINE!!!! It's such a lovely ship I will defend it with my life, istg Violentine haters have yet to bring up a valid point as to why they don't like it. I have some crack ships like Eleanor x Kate or Eleanor x Ava, I don't have much to say about them I'm just gay and wanna ship my girls together lmao. hmmm, I've been seeing some Mark x Lee stuff to and that looks pretty cute. Ermmm this is making me realize I actually don't ship much in twdg lmao, I guess I also ship Clouis and Gabentine Clouis is sweet and has good moments but I just don't find them as compelling as Violentine (sorry Clouis shippers). As for Gabentine I guess I would say I ship it, but more so in a "first crush/puppy love" kinda of way, The relationship never becomes anything serious they're just kids with a crush on each other and honestly I don't need them to become anything more than that. aaaannnd I know nothing about Star Trek but you're gonna make me look into Kirk x Bones now, thanks. 2. Well if we're just talking about the characters in general then Ava, she's so underrated imo. BUT, if we're talking about whether I choose to "save" Tripp or Ava during the execution, I always choose to let Tripp live. I'd rather have Ava die here than get that stupid fucking death she gets in ep 5, Tripps death in ep 5 is a lot better cinematically and writing-wise. 3. Sarah :) She's been my fav season 2 character since the season first came out and I will never forgive the writers/fandom at the time for how they treated her, SHE DID NOTHING WRONG. As for ships I guess I don't really have any for season 2, I mean Alvin x Rebecca I suppose though I'm not particularly invested in either character. Never been a Nick x Luke fan, I get the appeal but it ain't for me. 4. I can't really say which ending for each season is the best cause it's all pretty subjective, but I will give you my favs :) I guess I don't really have a fav ending for season 2? I choose the alone ending each time just cause I can't deal with Jane and Kenny's bs, don't hate either character but Clem doesn't deserve to put up with their bullshit anymore, she's the main character it's fine let's just ignore the logistics of an 11-year-old going off alone with a newborn. I also like the Wellington ending alot though! Not only because it's the best location for Clem and AJ to end up at but it also gives a satisfying conclusion to Kenny's character imo. Kenny spent all of season 2 trying to keep Clem and in the end AJ by his side for ultimately selfish reasons and he became extremely violent and unhinged in the process. So to see Kenny finally be selfless and be willing to give them both up to ensure their health and safety really redeems him for me. Kenny loves Clem and AJ but I really don't think he's fit to take care of them, this is the best possible Kenny ending for me. 5. Bonnies cool. It's been awhile since I've played season 2 and 400 days so I am in a desperate refresh of her character, but from what I remember she was interesting. I def think the fandom goes WAY too hard on hating her, from what I remember she's not really any worse or better than any of the other adults in season 2, she's extremely flawed but hell who isn't in The Walking Dead. I get being frustrated with her but the lengths people go to shit all over her character is kinda insane to me. So overall I guess I don't have much of a strong opinion on Bonnie, she's an interesting character with alot of flaws but I don't think she's evil or cruel. I hope her and Mike where able to get away and join a community or something. Also, I distinctly remember her being my fav 400 Days character and having a crush on her when I was a kid lmao. wowie okay that's all I gotta say, and don't worry you're all good! If you (or anybody really) send me a question and I don't reply it's probably just cause I forgot to or I'm stumped on what to say. CRIES

listen, its pure vibes, i dont really have an explanation for it. i liked him just generally for a while, but i watched a video where he talked about american gun control and it just came off super uck to me. like, a lot of british lefties have this weird thing where they will assume americans are all stupid just for kicks when we've actually been indoctrinated to think the way we do. i guess i just dont like seeing brits have political takes that are just pure "america needs to get its shit together" cause yeah bro we know, focus on whatever the fuck is up with ur government please. I feel like if i talked politics with wilbur soot he would be condescending as shit and basically explain to me what socialism is or whatever when its like, dude,, please. british lefties think they know more than the average young american, which is most of the time not true, or not something to insult someone over. (this is also because he reminds me of a shitty ex friend who was in the states for AMERICAN STUDIES but would just talk on and on and on about how dumb americans were -___-)

and its more than that, i never get idolization of people, like, online people. the closest ive come to it was technoblade maybe? gtws is pretty awesome too, bbh is low level idolization maybe. so it weirds me out when people are just in awe over him, makes my instincts go wild. im really not accusing him of anything, i know this is just the silly brain reacting silly. it just weirds me out. his fans do not know him, nobody's fans know the person, and yet they act like they do, and like he's gods gift to leftism and queerness when he is,, a cishet maybe-aro upperclass man from britain. nothing against him really.

oh, and his fans tick me off because theyre ALWAYS inserting him into things and just. listen, i dont like having to scroll through tons of wilbur fics in the qsmp tag when im just trying to get to some badboyhalo or etoiles centric fics. the man has been on the qsmp for like less than a week of playtime and he's the fourth most tagged character on the qsmp ao3 tag.

not to mention he gets dragged into other plots like "what if this actually happened to wilbur!" or "yeah but what if wilbur was there!" or my most hated "cant wait till this character meets wilbur because i cannot enjoy this media (which is about finding and enjoying a bunch of ccs) if it doesnt have my guy in it!" like i get it, you have a hyperfix or a special interest, ive been there, but maybe then go watch stuff he's actually in, instead of forcing him into a plot he really isnt that big a part of anymore.

people also praised his dsmp writing when it was,, average at best. honestly i think bbh's and the eggpire's writing did way more for the dsmp because they actually tried to include other people in the plot as much as possible, instead of just writing for you and a few of your friends. imo, c!wilbur was an ok character, like, nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary for me. utah is death, ok buddy got it, wow, insane. yeah yeah we've all been to the soul sucking pit of utah, haha i get it. << this is just pure salt ignore that lmao

oh and lovejoy didnt fuckin invent political indie rock, people need to get over themselves on that one.

so yeah, its just a thing of, i cant really bring myself to like him. the brain goes wonky when he's around. kinda wish i didnt like, get angry when he's on screen but idk i cant really stop myself. nothing againstt you if you like him, ill usually tag anyy wilbur neg with #wilbur crit so if you wanna mute that tag. i dont post it too often tho.

But the past year taught me a lot about friendships so I’m just working on myself this year. It’s kind of lonely but at the same time really peaceful? I think I’m happier now than I’ve been in a long time. Yeah the lack of friends and companions makes things lonely but it’s not something that I’ll let break me anymore. I know I’m stronger than that now. Someone’s I think online people are easier to interact with because there’s no attachments?? Like if they left me I can assume something happened or they decided to go offline but I know for sure (mostly) it’s not my fault you know? And people online are just so much kinder in general. Not that I interact a bunch of people online, just a few, but that’s just my experience so far. Didn’t mean to go off on a rant there my bad 😅.

I’ve posted a few things on my blog but only drabbles really. I’ve been wanting to start doing analysis’s for a long time but I never got around to it. Just like character analysis’s and relationship analysis’s and story arcs and all that jazz. I love all of it. And in my opinion the best stories are the ones where the characters are what drive the plot of the story. TR did an amazing job of doing this and it’s one of the reasons I fell in love with the story in the first place almost immediately.

Comfort fics are my favorite and the ones that explore real experiences and feelings and aren’t just a colt bf paste of the same words really do it for me.

Yeah, it gets lonely here- but at least it’s peaceful; I follow a few blogs - mostly art + JJBA updates (and I’m super excited to check out the new eps of stone ocean) interaction wise... i have tried it out before, but none of them lasted long. what hurt me the most was when i was trying to be genuine abt something and writers here (not all but some) are really closed off yk? like they're fine interacting with friends but are really selective with new people? cause of that i just gave up interacting with them altogether and after my ideas got taken and neither was anything being reciprocated back on my blog by them despite us following each other- cause it goes both ways and if its just me, i wont do it anymore. my experience online hasn't been that great except with the upload of fics... and the only interaction i would get was comments or going through tags that was included by the person who reblogged it- but with recent developments, a lot of that has changed and i'm comfortable talking to people now ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

Safety is super important to me - that's why i never reveal too much about myself just small things cause you can't be completely safe on the internet- like when i was still a small time writer i got followed by a spanking account (istg the way my eyes widened when i saw it; and it wasn't even the kinky variety- it was traditional method of disciplining someone) - won't go much into detail about it but yeah i ended up blocking him. How did you come up with everyone’s names? I see a lot of them are Japanese in origin?

That’s a very interesting question actually!!

So, specifically the Okutama crew are from Japan. I’ve been doing a plotline with them so that’s why most of the names on the blog are Japanese atm. Lol.

My characters names come from, all sorts of places. But I’ll just talk about Okutama specifically because it’s very interesting to me.

Most of My Okutama characters Date back to around.. 2015? 2016? Somewhere around there? They originally were fan characters for a VERY problematic game which I shall not mention. In fact, I use to run the most popular role playing group FOR that game on deviantart. It was a very weird time.

(Also warning, I am learning Japanese- but like.. I’m essentially a -1 year old while speaking in Japanese. So bare with me-)

Are Yoru- Are was the first character I ever made for this fandom, She originally was a self insert because the game allowed you to customize your MC and I essentially made a weird murdery version of me. Their original name was: アレクシス (Arekushisu) よる (Yoru), Which was essentially a very badly google translated version of my dead name, and the word Night (because she was edgy you see), Her name is now just Are because 99.9% of the time back then we called them アレ-ちゃん (Are-Chan). (And also the connection to my dead name made me feel weird lol and the connection to ME made me feel weird as well). Are is probably the most incomprehensible name in actual Japanese.. cause アレ is not, a name. But she has been called Are for so long I can’t imagine calling them anything else.

Yukai Mori (Yukai Hayashi)- Yukai was the second character I made, I’m like 99% sure. She was the first OC I posted to the roleplay group. She hasn’t changed much over the years, besides just, generally making her more realistic. I don’t remember the exact origin of ユカイ林 (Yukai Hayashi). I remember wanting to give her a very unassuming name, so knowing like 11 year old me I might have just been like “Popular Japanese Names 2016” or whatever. Her new last name 森 (Mori) however comes from the word Forest. Hayashi means Woods. You can tell cause both kanji look like groups of trees 林森 . It was a subtle way to make her distance herself from her family while also still being connected to it. Her nickname is Kai-Chan! Or カイ-ちゃん

Chie Hayashi (チエ林)- Chie’s origin is Actually really cute! She’s named after my Moms college roommate. I made her because Yukai originally had like- 12 sisters or something? But that’s shrunk down to 2- because jfc.

Kyandi Amai- Kyandi is very easy to.. figure out. she’s a person made of candy.. so.. キャンぢ甘い (Kyandi Amai), She canonically named herself, cause I don’t think her mom would.. just name her candy baby.. candy.. She’s named after the borrowed English word for Candy, vs the word Ame (あめ), Amai however does mean sweet.

Ai Amai- Kyandis Mom, She’s a witch who accidentally turned a piece of candy alive. 愛甘い (Ai Amai) her name is ALSO a pun. Ai means love, therefore her name would essentially be Love Sweets or I love Sweets.

Hana Seta (花瀬田)- HANA! my beloved! She was the first one in my second generation of Okutama OCs. Where I shifted from roleplay groups to solely roleplaying with my friend Morgan. Hana was originally created as a mascot for Instagram, but solely shifted into a wackier character. I don’t remember Hana’s name meaning anything in particular. Her name means Flower and her last name means essentially rice farmer.

Kagayaki Tekikya (輝き滴下)- Originally based on J.D from Heathers.. which.. is an incredibly funny fact when you look at the character now. His last name is based on Tekiya which are the predecessors to the Yakuza. Over the years the extra K was added in and, I just cant spell it any other way. I don’t think that Kagayaki itself tho had a specific origin for me, though it does mean shiny. His nickname is Kaga-Kun or かが-くん, He can also go by 빛나는 테키키아 , Which is what his mother use to call him in her native language (Korean), he doesn’t often go by this though.

Keh Spo (ケースポ): So in Japan, normally before you get to know someone you would say their last name first, like for example Doe John instead of John Doe. So Keh’s name is Spo Keh… cause.. he’s spooky… and a ghost hunter.. thats it thats all there is too it.

Makai Mori (魔界森): The last of the Hayashi Sisters. Makai essentially means hell or evil. Her name was not given to her by the Hayashi family, it was more of a nickname given to her before she got adopted. Makai’s demon name or True name is Beelzebub, She was named after the real Beelzebub due to her being a glutton demon and also due to her carnivorous nature attracting flies. Demons have two names, due to havinf a demons true name means having power over that demon. She also has a tendency to be called a Hellion but in a very literal sense.

Evey Aiki (イービーあいき): Aiki is a word for love. Which relates to Evey’s um… obsessive tendencies.. However I believe I chose the name Evey just because it sounded pretty. Its not a Japanese name but it is a Latin one apparently! And it means life! Which is… ironic… considering its um.. Evey..

Uru Nanamo (ウルナナモ): I do not fully remember why I named Uru this, and the translation of his name doesn’t give me much clues. However her name means to possess and budding flowers. Due to him being adopted allot, she has a few other last names as well. 朝原 (Asahara which means Field) (たなか, Tanaka, which… also means field..). He is also called Onee-Uru or Big Sister Uru. As a term of endearment by Atsu.

Atsu Kaigan (アツ海岸): I also do not fully remember where Atsu’s name comes from exactly. BUT: It means Twin Coast!

Yuki Sho (雪翔): I wanted Yuki and Mizuki’s names to rhyme some what because they’re twins. Yuki means snow, and Sho means Royal essentially? I chose Sho because it comes from the Ryukyuan kingdoms Royal family.

Mizuki Sho (ミズキ翔): Mizuki’s name is based on a flowering tree! So he is based on spring vs Yuki who is based on Winter.. They both have a yin yang sort of thing about them. Mizuki is normally a feminine name but it is sometimes used as a male name.

TW: Because some of my characters are from the past, there are some darker themes in the story. Nothing below here goes into detail however i will explain the basic description of certain things.

Specific TWs: Child Abuse, Prositution, Historical Sexism, Just Yknow general stuff you’d find in the 1400s unfortunately.

Some Titles my Characters Have:

Yukai: Former Wakagashira of The Hayashis. Essentially what that means is that Yukai use to be the second highest ranking in her family and would handle allot of the different jobs and what not and organize things. (Side note, The Hayashis would be essentially a small town mafia. So- yknow. They would have different rules than your most popular Yakuza organization.. so just suspend your disbelief a little that there’s,, high ranking women in this mafia... cause thats not accurate irl—-)

Are: HOLY SHIT SHE HAS SO MANY TITLES. Okay. So. In order of which she got them.

Kamuro (A child courtesan who was being trained by an Oiran (a high ranking prostitute) They would be in charge of running errands and getting food for their Big Sister/Oiran)

Oiran (A high ranking Prositute, who was trained to do performance art, like tea ceremonies, dancing, music, etc.)

Maiko (A young girl who is training to be a Geisha.)

Geisha (A Entertainer which specializes in the performing arts, Mostly singing and dancing)

Maid (Low Ranking Servant, mostly does chores and cooking)

Otoshiyori (Personal Servant/Assistant to the Emperor and his Wife, the Empress)

Sokushitsu (Concubine)

Kikoe-Ogimi (Grand Royal Priestess)

Myobu (High Ranking Kitsune)

Chie: Current Oyabun of the Hayashi’s, Basically the leader of the Hayashi Family mafia due to her parents dying.

Hana: Hime Hana, Princess Consort of Hell. because she’s currently the wife of Lucy Ferr, one of the princesses of hell, she has a Royal title specifically only in hell. (It’s a Long Story). There are more common terms for princess than Hime, but due to Hana’s kinda old fashioned style she would probably use Hime. She also does not have the title “Her Imperial Highness” due to her not being in a ruling position in Japan.

Kagayaki:

Former Wakagashira of The Tekikya Family.

Maiko (Geisha and Maiko is traditionally a only female practice, however, considering theres literally portals to hell in town, most people don’t care in this universe-)

Jenn-Chan, Onee-Jenn (Full Name: Jenn-Da-Benn, or Big Sister Jenn. This is Kagayaki’s drag queen persona, Her style is mixing together modern j-fashion and traditional clothing such as Kimonos and what not. Known for accidentally shattering a window with one of her heels)

Keh:

Itako (A Blind spirit medium)

Miko (A Shrine Maiden in Shintoism)

(Both of these terms tend to be female only, but gender is fucky in this universe so-)

Yokai (This is a self proclaimed title, He also sometimes calls themself a protector of Yokai)

Ai:

Grand Witch of Okutama (Shes a very powerful witch lol)

The Original Onna Musha (Onna Musha is a term to refer to Female warriors normally alongside Samurai, due to Ai being old as dirt and also being a very powerful Warrior she is often called this)

Makai: Former Shateigashira of the Hayashis

Uru: Kami no Okurimono (Gift of Gods, A title given to him from his first family. Who was yknow.. a cult..)

Atsu: Hogo-Sha no Kami (Protector of Gods)

Yuki:

Hime Yuki (Princess Yuki)

Kamura

Oiran

Waremechan (Essentially means Cunt-Chan. A very offensive title given to her after she died)

Mizuki:

Oji Mizuki (Prince Mizuki)

Shi No Oji (Prince of Death, Given to him after his death as a way to respect him.)

starting this off, i want to say that i love all three mobs *so much* i want them all in the game ;u; BUT i have been thinking about them a LOT so im going to talk about it

SO STARTING OFF WITH THE GLARE

ill be completely honest the first thing i thought of when i saw this lil guy was just 'balloon'. mojang please let us be able to put a leash on these things and just tug them around and tie them to fence posts

i know these thing will probably spawn underground, most likely in lush caves?, but i really like the idea of variants! like seasonal variants? (aka a dark green for summer, light green for spring, orange for fall, and white for winter) OR variants based on leaves? so the foliage would look like oak leaves or spruce leaves or acacia leaves!

That could help with figuring out what biome youre in when youre underground in the caves!

WILL THE EYES KINDA GLOW??? like endermen oooooo random pair of eyes you can see in complete darkness oooooo scary

**they said that they get angry when they find a place that a mob could spawn, **what do they mean by that?** could they be another neutral mob? will they attack the player when they find a dark place?????

at first, i didn't really like what they looked like? i mean to me they kinda just looked like vexs? like the same kind of light blue, they have wings, and they float,,,, they look similar at a distance tbh,,, BUT i am a big fan of making my own lore for minecraft, and now i really like the idea that vexs are just allays that were somehow captured by evokers? we love making our own lore for lore-less video games lmao

seem like they could be useful for farms? like you could easily set up a clock with a note block and a dispenser that dispenses the item you want them to collect and then have the noteblock be surrounded by hoppers sooooooo thats cool

are they peaceful? are they neutral? do you have to tame them? where do they spawn???

if we assume that allays are *slash* are similar to vexs, can they go through walls? more importantly,,, can they access chests??? this could help a lot with people who dont have a good storage system!!! like if you give an allay a piece of cobblestone, could it look through nearby chests and pick up any cobblestone and bring it back to you!!

how many items can it hold/bring back to you?

(they arn’t item generators? ive seen a few people being a bit confused in what they do, they dont generate new items, they find/pick up the item you give them)

also?? neutral mobs?? if you hit them, will they attack you?? (can you tell what my favorite kind of mobs are lmao)

what if they come in different sizes?? idk what for tho,,,,

tbh compared to the other two abilities, ie being able to tell where mobs can spawn and picking up items, pressing a button randomly isnt really on the same level tbh,,,,,,, but its just a lil dude pressing a button and i love that useless ability so much ;u;

can they give off a redstone signal? somehow lean a bit more into messing with redstone? could they flick levers toooooooo

im really glad mojangs making more (possibly peaceful/neutral) mobs that arnt based on something in real life lmao but for real i love all of these mobs so so much omg cant they all be implemented in the game please mojang please??

NOT in order of most-to-least fav or anything just 5 i would highly recommend, about random stuff 5- Talkin'bout: King of the Hill, Again | Men of the Hill by Talkin'bout its technically a part 2 and part 1 is very good but its an incredibly complex and empathetic look at the changing culture of america and its men analyzed through the lens of the the relationships of the Hill men 4- How the Music Spoils Sweeney Todd (and why that's a good thing!) by Sideways as a huge musical fan who is NOT a musician in any sense, i like how clear and easy to understand this one is for non-musically inclined/educated people. also it about one of the my fav musicals but also sort of ruined my life. because of this video i hear the Dies Irae EVERYWHERE (even my fav movie which i though i already knew everything about) 3- Freaks Isn't a Horror Film by coldcrashpictures not only does it cover ableism in the film industry, im generally a fan of breakdowns of old movies and the kind of cultural atmosphere that spawned then. obviously a cw for a gross amount of ableism discussed 2- Pathologic is Genius, And Here's Why by hmbomberguy picking ONE hbomberguy vid essay is fucking impossible so i picked this one cause again i like in-depth breakdowns of things inaccessible to me, and i love harris' humor in this one. but honestly i would recommend any of his essays, if youre not familiar with the channel you must must must check his stuff out. also of course i had to include an hbomberguy video knowing fully well youve probably already seen his vids 1. Bo Burnham vs. Jeff Bezos - Video Essay by CJ The X NUMBER ONE BABY. this one changed my life tbh. talks about and critiques bo burnham, jeff bezos, amazon, and covers a wide variety of topics including class, how the internet effects how we relate to each other, transhumanism, and the future irt technology and human connection. dont be daunted by the length tho, i really do think this one benefits from a single-session viewing runner up, watch Ro Ramdim, every single video of hers is a banger and i cant pick one

ya i cant be too helpful tho bc i really didnt like the end product :( but basically i wrote about in 2016 when i met up w a bunch of tumblr mutuals to see tlsp, the opener was cam avery (also known for touring w tame impala) and he like shouted me out or idk how to describe it but i was like being my obnoxious self so he noticed me and like talked directly to me briefly from on stage while warming up the crowd . and i felt special for a moment but i realized what i really cared about was that the other fans noticed me not that he noticed me. which just made me think about parasociality and fandom spaces as a topic, cause ive been in so many of them but for me it has always been about processing myself .. like i dont rly create transformative fan work or contribute meaningfully in that way , im just making jokes and weaving the music into other interests of mine and my personal life. its still very hard to put into words but the general topic is something im still rly passionate abt to this day! especially the phenomenon of kpop and how fandom is basically encouraged and a separate commodity was so eye opening to discover (after i had already gotten into college lol). not to be cringy but i wish there were a dedicated academic discipline for fandom studies, imo it encompasses a lot of things like psychology, sociology, media studies, music (if its a music fandom), economics, comparative literature, ethics and so much more

oh if ur asking more broadly abt my experience writing the common app, the ppl i sent it to to proofread understood what i was trying to say and liked it but i ultimately used a different application for most of my schools. and that essay was genuinely just recounting trauma hee hee but im glad i at least tried a little to not make my trauma the center of my application

major spoiler warning on this one bc theres no way for me to answer this question without them

The first character I first fell in love with: THH: junko <3 the second i saw her magazine spreads i went !!!! her!!!! and then spent the entire game bemoaning the fact that she "died". we were making memes about it, i was melodramatically talking about how "if she was alive they'd be out of here by now! give me back my wife!!" This accidental foreshadowing made the Chapter Six Reveal my favorite danganronpa twist bc we just. had an entire extra level of it. we made SO MANY MEMES AND JOKES ABOUT IT... SDR2: sonia <3 she was nice and pretty and made a good impression on me! and also the one time I picked a survivor as my instant fave djaskkjldaskljad Also chiaki but that's a given! look at her!!! I love her sm,,, V3: kirumi and rantaro! I got spoiled that there was SOMETHING up with rantaro so i just. started theorizing SO much. words cannot express how many theories i came up with about this man, and you cant theorize THAT much about a character without them becoming a fave. Kirumi was bc she's so pretty and helpful??? world is hers, she was my insta fave!

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: TSUMUGI. We were joking about her being the mastermind since chapter THREE. CHAPTER THREE!!! The fact that we were RIGHT just rocketed her up to one of my faves, I love her whole cosplay and fiction thing, it's SO funny and i'm so here for it. also Toko!! Toko skyrocketed up the tierlist after i played UDG, it gives her SO much development and i love her sm!!

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: hmmm... I guess Celeste? She's fun but not my vibe!

The character I love that everyone else hates: junko <3 yes shes evil yes she's one of my faves and no one can stop me

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: hmm.... im not sure! I guess kiyo? I really liked him early on but uh. Y'know what happened that chapter

The character I would totally smooch: kiibo! He deserves it <3 world is his

The character I’d want to be like: kaede! she's so confident and active and i wish i could do that jkadlsjkladsjlk. Also i'd want to be more like kyoko too, she's so smart!! I would die for them both

The character I’d slap: kokichi <3 with affection ofc he just causes so many problems on purpose

A pairing that I love: saimatsu <3 also amamatsu and tokomaru! and komahinanami bc i think its funny. i generally end up a fan of the more canon compliant ships in dangan so most of those are here too!! I do like rarepairs tho :D

A pairing that I despise: despise is such a strong word... I guess it's not any ship in particular and more of a sidenote but a lot of dangan ships feel like they come from a desire to pair off every single character, which really... isn't something im interested in rip.

tbh,, i havent read the raws of the interview yet, only the translated ver from fan-translator and b4 i start, i think that this will be just me talking in circle and in no particular order AND a real mess (my brain does weird things after exams) but uhh here we go

gojou collects talented people, and by doing so he finds the people he can most probably relate to, except that he can't, not really, because something in the universe shifted when he was born. and it makes me think of how he's always known it, that he is special, and he's proven it, time and time again— he wants to take in talented ppl and he does, but there rly isn't much he can do for them. for they are talented, more talented than the world can understand,,

but they aren't gojou satoru

gojou took in megumi, bc he knew megumi was strong, and would grow up to be someone even stronger, but gojou can't facilitate or encourage his growth, bc for all they're similar, they are so fundamentally different. ALSO,, while geto was in his life, gojou rly judged everything according to his understanding of geto’s moral compass. gojou wears a human suit and geto is how he learnt to wear it well 🏃

the dragonfly analogy regarding to geto’s response to gojo, who was shown wearing a dragonfly patterned yukata in HI arc,, i’m trying to not think abt the fact that dragonfly symbolized victory in jpn....pain. i quoted from a web here for more explanation : In Japan the dragonfly is known as the "victory insect", or kachimushi, because of its hunting prowess and also because it is known to never retreat. Dragonflies are agile and fast fliers and can even hover, but never fly backwards

and bringing this up again, matricide and patricide are 2 of the 5 worst act to commit in buddhism, and it was said that if u commit one of those act u’re going to spend a real long time in the deepest pit of hell before continuing the samsaric cycle (higher chances to be born as an animal after that probs)— this might be geto’s divine retribution. held no power over his own body and could be considered that he’s the same as those “monkeys” 💀

ALSO the fact that sukuna's interest is "eating" rly drives home his hedonistic philosophy of seeking pleasure for himself. and he’s a cannibal...makes me think if he’ll just chomp on ppl with the mouth on his stomach
