Optimus is absolutely fascinated by his "prize" and recognizes an Outlier ability, commenting Megatron always did collect them, and having Ratchet install an inhibitor collar. He doesn't want Tarn silent, just temporarily neutered.

Cue Tarn raging at being denied Megatron again while Optimus attempts to court the Decepticon in the attic. One who keeps destroying his tributes and is very, very different from the Decepticons he knows. And much more intriguing for it.

They fight and every biting word and blow, vicious threat and attack on his staff, just makes Optimus more besotted.

Tarn meanwhile is stalking around like a caged lion and calms down enough to realize he is caught temporarily.

There's a lot of psychological manipulation and back and forth between them and Optimus trying to "ease" Tarn into the Autobots only to find he fits in great. The SG Autobots love Tarn.

Jazz takes him for the day to help with "interrogations" and inside the cell is one of same Decepticons that Tarn had hunted in his previous life. The one who'd betrayed the Waves location. The Autobots don't expect much from him, but the Prime said to "let him play".

Tarn is relieved to have some stress relief and was always bitter this hunt got cut short.

He gives them a full DJD treatment.

Jazz and the others are impressed. They tell Optimus he has their full approval. Other members of Autobot High Command take Tarn out at different times because Optimus is "busy" which annoys him giving he is being held hostage but he is keeping an eye out.

This is the vaguest part but basically Optimus is teasing Tarn now because he went from OP being constantly there to never seeing him and only dealing with others.

It is testing how he fits with his Autobots while making sure Tarn thinks of him.

If anyone challenges him he is permitted to physically fight. Something he discovers during a Iromhide Day when Hot Rod picks a fight and only Ultra Magnus's interference and Optimus showing up and distracting Tarn saves his plating.

Optimus and Tarn have a Evil Moment in front of everyone and Optimus saunters off leaving Ironhide snorting and Tarn bristling very much not self aware enough to recognize the obvious flirtation.

Jazz, strangely, becomes one of his favorite Autobots.

Tarn in turn is noticing the Autobots and how their philosophies align though the obviously need some refinement. Tarn has opinions about the Autobots and a lot of it circles around a lack of discipline, organization, and management. He calls the "indulgent wretches"

Optimus actually shows up and they have more tension moments over a drink, some music, and talking. Tarn accuses him of being directionless and criticizes him. Optimus asks what he would do and Tarn gives a basic outline of his dreams for the former Decepticons and Optimus is very, very into this because he is bored and unchallenged and the Decepticons are annoying but not a threat to his rule and his Autobots are scattered and unfocused biting back at each other.

He ends the night calling Tarn "beautiful" and this is one of the first of many "date nights" in which Optimus pays for time with some luxury Tarn wanted.

A lot of it involves Tarn criticizing him and eventually discussing his own world and the differences in histories here and Optimus biting back about Tarn's own leader's failures which make him instinctively bristle but accept and Optimus sees that utter loyalty and devotion and wants it. Loyalty is a very precious commodity and he thinks Tarn's former lord is the greatest fool to abandon it and tells Tarn as much and how he wouldn't have ever wasted such a gift.

Tarn does not swoon but has some interesting dreams that mix his own time with Orion Pax and memories of Megatron with SG Optimus.

Optimus is very focused on courting a proper "Evil Queen"/Lady Macbeth who can give him the kick in the aft to be a proper conquering Warlord not someone who sits on his laurels and the rest of the Autobots approve.

SG Optimus's method of seduction is the same as [Fractured Reflections], because yes we all agree that SG Optimus is just. Shit at flirting, and seriously thinks this is a good idea. BL Tarn is seething, of course.

These two are both trying to get one over on each other offffff course they are

He never expected to be anyone's idol, but he is. He has unknowingly enraptured then via his techniques and personality, and many are following him around like goddamn puppy dogs.

BL Tarn: "I can fix them AND make them worse."

Of course he gives him advice, like Tarn my guy that's your concern here??

Addressing those who are reading Sonic Cyber Revolution (Sonic the Hedgehog AU Story)

While the cast of characters for my Sonic Cyber Revolution is quite large, I've managed to introduce most of the important Sonic characters, with several more coming up in future chapters. This left me wondering whether those who read my story want to see any specific characters that I haven't introduced or even mentioned yet, but fit under the conditions that I have set.

As a reminder, the current cast of characters looks like this (not counting the OCs):

I know well that there are way more characters in the Sonic Universe and I'm sure that you guys have some of your favorites that you would want to be featured in some way.

My conditions for character suggestions consists of:

*The character must have been featured in the mainline Sonic media, such as the video games, comics or cartoons. NO OCs!!!

*The Sonic media in question consists of the canon Sonic video games (meaning Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is out of the question as it is not canon), Sonic IDW comics, Sonic movies or the Sonic cartoons (specifically the Sonic OVA, Sonic X, Sonic Boom & Sonic Prime).

*The characters from the following Sonic media WON'T be accepted: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic SatAM, Sonic Underground, Sonic the Comic, Sonic Archie comics.

*Yes, that means that the Freedom Fighters won't be featured in the story. No, I won't reconsider this decision. I'm sorry to those who got their hopes up.

*I do regret not adding Scourge the Hedgehog and Shard the Metal Sonic from the Sonic Archie comics, tho. As well as the evil Super Sonic from Sonic the Comic.

*But, isn't Eclipse the Darkling a Sonic Archie comics original character? Why is he going to appear and not the others?

*Eclipse the Darkling is the sole exception to this rule due to his nature as a member of the Black Arms, meaning that he will make his appearance when I adapt Shadow the Hedgehog (2005).

*Take note that this is a Sonic AU, meaning that the characters will have familiar, but very different backgrounds from their canon selves.

*Both Classic Era and Modern Era characters are free game, as noted by the appearance of Honey the Cat. The main cast, as listed above, appear as their Modern selves.

So, since I haven't been following you for that long, or at least, I think so, what was your inspiration for making this au? When did you exactly come up with the idea? Do you have any original title names?

oh man. hmm

i got into tmnt 4th april 2021, because i wanted to rewatch 2012, only remembered some of it from when i was little, then deciding yup i want to look at everything tmnt. then i got hyperfixated

he started out as a really ambiguous any iteration oc, around the time i was reading the northampton arc of idw, (late juneish 2021?) was when i first drew him, all it was was just hehe silly green masked ninja turtle in sophie campbells idw artstyle

(i love sophie campbells art its so good)

then i drew him in the 2012 series, and he became more of his own character. in my old idea for 2012 he was significantly moody and overconfident, had his own abandoned area in the subway tunnels for spraypainting, was good buddies with raph but really didnt like leo at all. also had a scar on his shell, for some reason?? i wont say why but he can super easily be slapped into another iteration and i love that

it was only when i watched rise and tried to imagine him in their universe too that i went hold on- we got a whole potential story here. little brother was a placeholder title really, but i couldnt think of anything better soo. little brother.

the vine flesh concept was an absolutely random idea at first that was way too cool to drop.

i did have this whole really cool arc planned where eventually draxum did get tricked into allying with the foot, theyd protect five whod help fight the mad dogs for the kuroi yoroi shards, ("looking for this?") and hed also be able to sabotage the armour in some way.

but. i couldnt have this in because 1. distract way too much from the story i want to tell. 2. having shredder appear in the comic would ask for an entire shredder arc and respectfully no thanks lol.

just imagine five is in s2 trust me hes there hes awesome (oh and you know how in canon, shredder needed to take power from draxum, and it looked like he took the vines power from him? uhuh. and you know how five also has it? but instead its the only thing keeping him stuck together? uhuh. anyways!)

ohh!! cool oc trivia- his weapon was kinda undecided between tonfa (before i watched rise) or two scythes i referenced it in page 20 :D !!

his weapon would still be scythes i think, if he wasnt using the vines as his weapon

and no i try to keep my master post updated all the time, theres HEAPS more stuff i like, just complicated to think what to put on there? for example i looove how to train your dragon, but havent seen much of it past rewatching the 3 movies, thats nothing compared to rewatching all of adventure time 5 times. i dunno!

the way my interests work is that theres a selection of 1-3 that my brain focuses on, but it doesnt make any of the others less or i stopped liking them at all or anything. i have so many interests help me

right NOW im really hyperfixated on danny phantom and tf2!!

Scrapnik Island is driving me crazy! Not just the suspense, but how similar it is to an idea I had! That post about Shard being IDW, well when it was first announced, I imagined him being with Tails in the story instead. Then Mecha Knuckles came (again, M.S. VS M.K.), followed by the original Mecha Sonic, with the latter's old programming coming back. So I thought again maybe this experience could remind Shard of his old self, serving Eggman, and bringing up his fear of being evil again. And then the idea of Mecha S. capturing Shard trying to restore his original programming, and now we have these summaries for issues 3 and 4?! WHY IS MY AU BEING THIS CLOSE TO CANON?! 😱

I remember that post! It was such an interesting read to see how the events of Forces and the IDW comics would play out if Shard was involved. The thought of him being in the events of Scrapnik Island sounds like it'll be a nightmare for him! The threat of Surge and Kit is bad enough; the last thing everyone needs is two evil Mecha Sonics back to working for Eggman!

I really want to write a fic with my TF OCs, but I can't get any ideas

man i'm in the same boat, i keep holding my OCs in my brain and rotating them like in the microwave and just. have nothing else. they vibe, what more can i do with them. same for commissioning tbh i always have a hard time figuring out what to ask when i want to commission art bc... what do i want. idk. aaaa

okay but for some solutions maybe consider:

what canon or continuity are your OCs part of? what specific circumstances and settings are unique to that continuity, that will naturally generate situations perfect to tell an interesting story about? (eg, your OC in TFA discovers an Allspark shard on Earth and has to deal with all the mess it caused)

what kind of stupid things will your OC's personality get them into? are they too stubborn to back down when someone challenges them? are they ignorant or naive and get tricked too easily? do they have a hot temper and pick fights? what are the consequences of this stupid thing they get caught up in, and how will they get out of it or struggle through? (eg, every Starscream ends up in a pickle because he tries betraying Megatron. feature of personality leads to consequences, making a good story start)

what would happen if your OCs wound up in the canon plotline somehow? who would they meet and how would they get along? what important plot elements would they remove/replace/destroy, and what important plot elements would they preserve/encourage/create? (eg, imagine if in IDW there had been someone there to defend Senator Shockwave and keep him from being empurata'd. what would the fallout of that be?)

you don't even need a big grand story. what is their day to day life like? some funny moments with friends or family? some tired or difficult moments? just casual stuff that serves more as a character exploration than some complicated plot

idk, i dunno your writing process so i dunno if this helped, but those are my two cents!

(and i don't want to presume, but if this question was specifically about a story set in SNAP, wow i'm flattered 😳 but also, i think the above advice holds true even for a story set in my AU! i don't think i can tell you how to write your specific OCs, but don't be afraid to just make stuff up about the world or plot to serve whatever story you come up with. some other folks have taken SNAP and run with it and you can check out their fics on the AO3 collection for examples if you want!)

Shard he is cool I just never did readed archie sonic comics and his looks dosnt buys me and yes that was so sad that metal sonic wasnt in sonic x maybey if anime was ocnitniued we wodul get saga around sonic heros and now image metal ovelord vs dark oak in thier ultimate form fighting in depths of space

You kinda need to understand Shard's journey towards self-acceptance and becoming less like Sonic's double to really like his character and design. He's basically a what-if towards Metal Sonic. He's what Metal Sonic could be if he accepted Sonic's hand in the OVA and in IDW.

METAL OVERLORD IS ONE OF THE COOLEST DESIGNS EVER AND IM VERY GAY TOWARDS IT I LOVE IT SO MUCH god i gotta get ready for bed soon so i can't draw it right now but hnnnnnnn i wanna include it in my AU

Archie was doing a Heroes storyline before it was cancelled, but it would've been cool to get an animated version of that story.

I want to make a little comic for practice particularly about shard. Mostly because I have some ideas floating in my head, but I can’t decide which ones to make. I’ll probably make all of them in the future but for now choose the first one I should make!

(Note the comic isn’t gonna be big grand scale writing just a light hearted short story unless I enjoy myself to much with it and keep going)

So far what we've got from recent shenanigans:

Fractured reflections: baseline mecha are dumped into the SG universe, chaos ensues as the baseline mecha realize quickly just how horrible SG Optimus is. Rodimus and Megatron end up attached at the hip after The Horrors™️. Kinda a mix of g1 and IDW?

shards of stars au: baseline tfp Starscream is dumped into the SG tfp universe and is completely adopted by the shattered glass decepticons. To him all of this sounds too good to be true

Mltfp: transformers prime but also make it my little pony. Optimus is an alicorn prime, Megatron was an earth pony turned into ~something else~ by Unicron. Really fucking dope designs, the Autotrots and the Decepticorns.

Love boat au: Swerve orgy parties end up getting mecha sparked up, Megatron ends up revealing he's had no formal sexual education. Ratchet gives free interfacing courses because these fuckers need them.

💫Bottom bitch💫 Getaway: well what it says on the tin, Getaway gets knocked up by Megatron, consequences occur.

Where sire au: Megatron has a litter and will not tell anyone who the sires are, there's a fucking forum for it and everything.

A Glitch In the Matrix: Glitch accidentally destroys the matrix, ends up leading the quest to find the Knights of Cybertron out of religious guilt. No war au.

Forced Redemption Arc Au or (paradigm shift) : the matrix can slowly but surely turn bad people into good people, and Shockwave is in for one hell of a journey.

TFP Looking Through The Glass au: Shattered Glass Optimus (who currently looks identical to BL Optimus) temporarily replaces BL Oppy, and it takes the autobots a bit to realize what has happened. Tfp Megatron finds him super hot actually, BL Optimus returns, and wow is SG OP able to entirely discard the personality mask now

you are/arent the sire au: so IDW no war, Megs is in medical school but Impactor is still a miner. Somehow, these two fuckers got knocked up by the same sire... But did they? Nope! TC and 'Warp, who were both painted as Starscream in an illegal money scheme, did it, and the law things Starscream did it. Paternal test ensues, Star still ends up as beta-sire. Now, sadly to him, these grounders have gotta stay with them.

Sonic Cyber Revolution Analyzer: The Story, Lore & Characters

Sonic Cyber Revolution (shortened as SCR) is a Sonic the Hedgehog AU story taking place on an alternate Earth that is inspired by the world of the MegaMan Battle Network (Rockman.EXE) and MegaMan X (Rockman X) series.

Sonic the Hedgehog, an Irregular ARNav, usually spends his days racing across Neos City and living his best life. The Blue Blur is always in the search for the next adventure along with his friends, but when trouble calls, be it in the form of aggressive Irregular ARNavs, secret government projects, dangerous rivals, like Metal Sonic and Mephiles, or Dr. Eggman taking advantage of the advanced AR technology present in this universe to expand the Eggman Empire, there is nothing that will stop Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Silver, Shadow and their friends from taking on the challenge and protecting those they care about.

The story follows the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends in Neos City as they get involved in day-to-day hijinks ranging from exploring the city, competitive racing, learning more about the nature and origins of Sonic and his friends, protecting gems from an infamous thief to dealing with destructive Irregulars and Hunters, defending Neos City from being nuked, fighting off a robot invasion caused by Eggman, butting heads with the government and trying to prevent future Neos City from turning into an a fiery apocalyptic wasteland.

While the story is, for the most part, original, it also adapts elements, characters and storylines from various Sonic media. It should be noted that only characters featured in the Sonic video games, Sonic OVA, Sonic X, Sonic Boom, Sonic movies and Sonic IDW comics appear in this story. Characters featured in media such as AoSTH, Sonic SatAM, Sonic Underground, Sonic the Comic and the Sonic Archie comics (such as the Freedom Fighters) won’t appear in the story.

Note: My only regret is not featuring Scourge the Hedgehog, Shard the Metal Sonic and Eclipse the Darkling because of this direction.

EDIT: Screw it, Eclipse the Darkling is gonna appear in SCR.

It should be noted that the Sonic characters in SCR are different from their main canon counterparts. In the SCR universe, Sonic the Hedgehog is actually a video game franchise that has somewhat faded out of the public mind and due to the unique nature of Sonic and his friends (as described below), they exist as separate entities from their video game counterparts.

With SCR being an AU story, the most notable thing is that Sonic and his friends have different origins than those featured in the main canon. In SCR, they are sentient digital beings known as Augmented Reality Navigators (ARNavs), and their concept is based on the NetNavis from MegaMan Battle Network.

They have the ability to interact with both the augmented reality and the real world. They also have human partners, who fulfill a similar role to the Operators from MegaMan Battle Network.

However, while most ARNavs exist to assist their human partners during their daily activities, there are also ARNavs who pose a danger to society. They are known as Irregular ARNavs (Irregulars) and their concept is mainly based on the Mavericks from MegaMan X/Zero/ZX.

Unlike regular ARNavs, Irregulars have the ability to absorb BioEnergy, which is essentially a human’s life force, and become empowered by it. They are capable of influencing and interacting with any non-AR Field environment to a much greater degree and have both biological (e.g. having the need to eat and sleep) and digital traits. This allows Irregulars to stay outside AR Fields without having their energy drained. They are considered a threat to humans, due to their aggressive and unpredictable nature.

They are targeted by Irregular Hunters, a group of combat-oriented ARNavs specifically created to track down, detain and eliminate Irregulars. The Irregular Hunters are based on the Maverick Hunters from MegaMan X.

All of the Sonic characters are Irregulars, but of the non-aggressive kind. They are capable of absorbing BioEnergy, which results in them in them developing an ability called Chaos Surge, which not only enhances the Irregular’s natural abilities (e.g. Sonic’s super speed going into overdrive), but also gives their human partners similar powers so they can assist in combat.

The main protagonists of SCR is Team Neos, whose main goal is to protect Neos City from The Eggman Empire. Team Neos consists of the following members:

Sonic the Hedgehog (15) & Lucas Kinomoto (16), who act as the de facto leaders of the group.

Miles “Tails” Prower (8) & Warren Taylor (16), who are the team’s engineers, providing them with various necessary gadgets for their missions. Warren and Lucas are also childhood friends, while Sonic has adopted Tails as his little brother.

Knuckles the Echidna (16) & Lily Crystle (16), who have the most combat experience, with Knuckles being self-trained while Lily is experienced in kickboxing. Unlike his main counterpart, Knuckles isn’t the Guardian of Angel Island and the Master Emerald, but he considers himself Lily’s Guardian.

Amy Rose (12) & Minami Kusakabe (15), with both being quite intuitive, although this intuition can cause them to often find trouble. Amy is also skilled in fortunetelling, while Minami has an interest in the occult.

Silver the Hedgehog (14) & Makoto Ryle (15), who are united in their desire to protect the future. Similarly to his main counterpart, Silver is a time-traveler, having arrived in the past to prevent an apocalyptic event, but is unable to return to his timeline. Makoto and Minami are also childhood friends.

Shadow the Hedgehog (15) & Touka Kageura (16), who have a rather mysterious past that keeps haunting them, despite their best efforts to move on from it. They also consider each other siblings, having grown up together. Shadow and Touka tend to act as the Lancer to Sonic and Lucas’ Leader.

On the opposing side, we have The Eggman Empire, a totalitarian regime ruled by Dr. Eggman, whose main goal is to establish complete control over Neos City, planning to spread his rule from Starpoint Area until he has conquered all of Earth. The Eggman Empire consists of the following members:

Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik, the main antagonist of SCR. He is an evil, mean, self-proclaimed genius scientist who dreams of conquering Earth with his Badnik Army.

Metal Sonic (15) & Ferra Ahearn (16), who act as Eggman’s Enforcers and are Sonic and Lucas’ rivals. Unlike his main counterpart, Metal Sonic wasn’t created by Dr. Eggman and is more loyal to Ferra, who supports Metal’s goal of defeating Sonic.

Mephiles the Dark (14) & Toshiro Miwa (15), who also act as Eggman’s Enforcers, albeit they’re more of a wild card, preferring to do their own thing. Unlike Eggman, they want to destroy Earth. They are Shadow and Touka’s rivals, their own past being closely intertwined with theirs.

Orbot and Cubot, two robotic assistants of Eggman. Orbot is the snarky one, Cubot is more dim-witted.

Dr. Starline, a shadowy platypus scientist and self-proclaimed Eggman fanboy who deeply admires his idol, acting as his apprentice. Starline tends to be at odds with Ferra, due to the latter’s disdain for Eggman and insistence on Starline leaving the Eggman Empire for his own good.

Aside from the ones listed above, there is also a wide cast of recurring characters from the main Sonic franchise who appear in the Sonic Cyber Revolution (the human partners are also listed for simplicity’s sake):

Rouge the Bat (18), an infamous “treasure hunter” who is usually at odds with Knuckles and Lily, attempting to steal the valuable gemstones from the Crystle Mansion. While she is usually out for herself, she also acts as an ally to Team Neos, especially after forming Team Dark alongside Shadow, Omega and Touka.

E-123 Omega, an E-100 series robot created by Dr. Eggman and left forgotten at an old abandoned Egg Base. Due to this treatment, Omega holds a grudge against Eggman, having made it his goal to destroy him and his creations. He is, along with Shadow, Rouge and Touka, a member of Team Dark.

The Babylon Rogues are a team of famous hoverboard racers and infamous treasure hunters/thieves. The group consists of Jet the Hawk (14) and Chase Young (16), Wave the Swallow (18) & Rika Nakano (15), and Storm the Albatross (19) & Arven Pryce (17). They consider themselves Sonic, Lucas, Tails, Warren, Knuckles and Lily’s rivals. Chase and Lucas also have a history together.

Blaze the Cat (14) & Sana Jai (14), who hail from the Surya Empire. Sana is the imperial princess, while Blaze holds the title of the Fire Guardian, protecting the Surya Empire with her pyrokinetic powers from pirate invasions. They become friends with Sonic and Lucas after a diplomatic visit to Neos City.

Marine the Raccoon (7), is Blaze and Sana’s best friend, as well as the Captain of the SS Marine. She has great nautical skills and water powers. She also has a tendency to get herself into trouble to due to her brash nature.

Team Chaotix are a team of detectives who run the Chaotix Detective Agency located in Neos City. The team consists of Vector the Crocodile (20), Espio the Chameleon (16) and Charmy Bee (6). They are allies of Team Neos, having met them during an assignment given by Knuckles and Lily. They’re also close friends with the two.

Surge the Tenrec (15) & Kitsunami “Kit” the Fennec (8) are two artificial Irregulars created by Dr. Starline for the purpose of assisting him in his combat against Team Neos. Surge and Kit consider themselves Sonic and Tails’ rivals.

Big the Cat (18) and Froggy are a duo who tends to hang out at Starlight Lake, which is Big’s favorite fishing spot. They have a tendency to just roam around, preferring a peaceful lifestyle, but will help Team Neos when necessary.

Important original characters that don’t hail from the Sonic franchise, but play a major role in the story are:

Prof. Hiroshi Sakamoto was the head scientist and geneticist of the Codex Research Facility 10 years before the start of the story. He is the father of the late Tomoe Sakamoto, whose death has driven him into madness. He is also the creator of Shadow the Hedgehog, Touka Kageura, Mephiles the Dark and Toshiro Miwa. He currently works for Dr. Eggman at a hidden location, researching an infinite energy source. His character was inspired by Prof. Gerald Robotnik.

Tomoe Sakamoto (15) is Hiroshi Sakamoto’s deceased daughter and Touka’s “older twin sister”. She died 11 years before the start of the main story from a terminal disease, but some of her memories and will have been transferred to Touka. Her character was inspired by Maria Robotnik.

Dr. Kisaki Kageura is Touka and Shadow’s guardian, having adopted the former. She used to work at the Codex Research Facility as Touka’s personal doctor and currently works as a pediatrician at St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital in Neos City.

Dr. Telos Tamago is an android created by Dr. Eggman to act as the CEO of the Tamago Corporation, a company specializing in innovations in the field of robotics. It had been established around five years before the main story takes place, having gained a respectable reputation. In truth, it is actually a cover for the Eggman Empire. In the public eye, the Tamago Corporation and the Eggman Empire are separate entities. The only ones who are even vaguely aware of the connection between the two is Team Neos.

Commander Loki (21) is a wolf ARNav and Irregular Hunter. He is the commander of the Alpha Unit, keeping Neos City safe from Irregulars. Due to the nature of his job, he tends to clash with Team Neos and especially Sonic, being annoyed by their “vigilantism”.

The Advance Reconnaissance & Mission Support, usually abbreviated as ARMS, is a military and security organization of Starpoint Area, run by Commander Roy Williams as its commander-in-chief. ARMS is a specialized branch that deals with threats like the Irregulars and the Eggman Empire by using their own unit of Irregulars and trained soldiers. They have also collaborated with the Codex Research Facility in the creation of Project Shadow, their main goal being to use Shadow and Touka as military bio-weapons and forcefully recruited the two in the present day (along with Rouge and Omega, leading to the formation of Team Dark). The organization ARMS was inspired by G.U.N.

Saiba is an unknown entity present in the Cyberspace, who had significant role in the creation of Touka Kageura and Toshiro Miwa, as well as supplying Prof. Sakamoto with the data necessary Project Shadow (which resulted in the creation of Shadow the Hedgehog) and Project Shadow: Resurrection (which resulted in the creation of Mephiles the Dark). Little is known about Saiba, but it is speculated that they are aware of the true origins of the Irregulars. The character of Saiba was inspired by Black Doom.
