For the first time in a while, I had myself a snz dream~

Sadly wasn't completely focused on the snz, but it was starring D/azai (feat. C/huuya as a supporting role) and man... I'm gonna be replaying it for days in my mind... >//<

All the surrounding details aren't important but... let's just say D/azai chose to be tied to a suspect, and have his loyal assistant C/huuya (who did not care for that title) place the cat in his lap, D/azai's eyes watering within seconds.

The results were... itchy <3 and through some wonderful ~dream logic~, each time D/azai let another powerful, desperate, itchy sneeze out, the chains he'd tied himself to the suspect with would pull tight, and the suspect would find himself crashing into D/azai, powers being stripped each time (something that, in this dream world, was highly unpleasant)

A lot of it was fairly dream logic-oriented, so the plot itself doesn't make a ton of sense, but the image of a hitching, smirking, sneezy D/azai, with an eye-rolling, cursing, but slightly concerned C/huuya... yeah that's gonna be on repeat for awhile~

#soda offers you a can #ugh. gen5 is peak in so many ways #perfect blend of 3d and 2d. new battle styles. brand new pokedex that forces you to try new things #(more or less) justified definitive editions that progressed The Plot because these guys dared to have it #like im a gen4 (and to lesser degree gen3) stan because my formative pokemon experiences happened there #but gen5 did so much right #i might wanna replay it at some point... i'll have to get a rom for that tho #because despite everything there are no multiple save files on one cart #even to this day. no switch profiles don't count as multiple save files for one game

this is a cruel cruel thing to ask someone who was just about to sleep (lighthearted)

SO! its one of those games thats best gone into blind, but its been out for over 8 years and i played it as a preteen and now im almost 20. i think i can talk frankly

undertale is an RPG where you play as a human who has fallen into an underground world of monsters. your goal is essentially to traverse the underground and come out the other end to go home. it's pretty linear

it got a lot of popularity because the music is banging. the characters are very charming. and it has a wild commentary on the relationship between the game and its player (you).

the story is very heartwarming/heartbreaking (up to you :)) and also full of stupid jokes and quirky shit. im currently replaying it because i love it and the story doesnt really get old

also just to shine a light on the little you do recognise:

hearts: thats you! your soul as it appears in battle (bullet hell turn-based combat)

skeletons and monsters: the skeletons in this game are unambiguously the fan favourite monsters. theyre just great. most people nowadays come into the game and will at least recognise sans undertale

a flower: your best friend that you meet right at the beginning of the game. one of my favourite characters hands down

snowy: one of the several portions of the underground is snowy fields and a village. thats where the skeletons live (nodding)

I didn't know if my entire team dropping to 1 hp two seconds before the fight ended was scripted to put the fear of God in me or if I just got incredibly lucky

So I looked up other people's final fight gameplay and no??? It's not scripted I just think I broke the game???

I was SCREAMING when my whole teams hp dropped to 1. I fully believe that wasn't supposed to happen. Sephiroth was dropping meteor as I was pulling off a limit, we all dropped to like 1 hp at the same time (sephiroth included) and then sephiroth died after the screen flashed white. I should NOT have won bruh how did I win???

When the screen flashed white, I almost put my controller down like "its so over"

tbh i can't even recollect any specific memories i had during my first playthroughs of the rgg games, but i also know i wasn't AS big on mine then as i am now (i didn't dislike him, i was just mostly numb to the games as i was marathoning them and not thinking too intensely about them as a result)
