been having a serious physical health problem for many years that is recently very quickly getting worse and as I undergo more tests and procedures while the problem actively gets worse, I got stuck having a serious talk about "purchasing at home accommodations" while they figure out whats wrong with my stomach and work out a treatment plan, because the costs of hospitalizing me for further testing/treatment instead for the unforeseeable futurewould ruin me, so I'm looking up some of the things she suggested, pricing shit out, and god half of this stuff was already out of the question because I am still displaced and man, and this is still technically cheaper than hospital bills, but I simply cannot save up/raise the money to get any of this in a timely manner

#girl help my options are rack up thousands of dollars of hospital bills #somehow find a few hundred to drop on recovery items when my paycheck does not last the month #WHILE im job hunting and saving up anything i can for when apartments become adfordable #or just suffer #:) #i hate it here

I know a sorta made a small post along these lines the other day, but something a lil more official of!!

im kinda broke rn, between the recent stuff with losing my car and having to get a new one and work literally scheduling me 13 hrs a week. Im slowly losing money and it got really bad this month after paying my bills and everything and realizing I had just 300 bucks in my bank account.

My current job hasn't been working with me to give me the hours i need to make a living wage and iv been trying to get a new job for months with no success and it's looking like i could really use a lil extra support via online commission work rn until I can land a more solid paying job. I really hate to sound like a desperate wet cardboard box beast but I still need to insure my new car and cant afford it as i stand right now.

I wont ask for donations, I think im going to be fine, but a lil money to help keep my head above the water would be great so im just gonna promo my commission work. To anyone who can commission me in some way or another would be awesome! I appreciate any support I can get rn even just a reblog

my pieces got accepted to the local museum ! i was quite sure they'd been rejected because i was supposed to hear back over 2 weeks ago, but i guess there were just time issues. am very happy about this !

#found out this morning that my work account was hacked and my last paycheck was diverted to somebody else's bank account #which ate up my entire morning figuring out and has been incredibly stressful. it sounds like whether they can recover the money or not #i will still get my paycheck but the person i spoke to couldnt tell me when bc it has to be looked at by specialists #its also rent paying time so that was the worst possible timing for this to happen and sucks so bad. #so finding out my pieces were accepted and at least im getting a paycheck from that is very relieving #i also realized last night that the colors on the blanket are scaring me #in that i dont know if they actually work or not after all... i just made a little pin loom square with them to see it with the weft #its drying rn ill take a picture soon for comments if i can get the colors right #anyway. yeah so some good news is very appreciated right now for sure

A light tip tap of the rain on Levi's window is what wakes you up at 3:30 in the morning. When most of the city is quiet save for the man next to you with a laptop over his thighs, the blue light reflection bouncing off of his glasses as your own eyes squint to adjust.

It's not uncommon for him to be awake at this time of night, often working into early morning because that's when it's easiest for him to focus. He turns to you, features softening over the hardened expression of concententration.

"Did I wake you?"

"Nah," you yawn, nodding your heavy head towards the window. "Rain."

He hums, resuming his typing with one hand as he smooths the blanket over your shoulder. "I have some disposable earplugs."

"no, no. Could you just...keep doing that?"

"Mm?'

"Your hand feels nice there," you tap the top of his knuckles, feeling them flex slightly out of instinct. He resumes the strokes up and down your upper arm, his nails just barely grazing through the blanket in a soothing pattern that serves as a silent lullaby.

"Like this?" There's amusement settling in his question. You're too tired to be indignant about it, offering a chuffed affirmation instead. "So cute."

It's uttered under his breath, under the quick typing and increasing pitter patter of the summer rain against the window, but you still hear it.

"Sleep, sweetheart," he says in that same baritone, laced with a sense of fondness that only you've managed to earn from Levi.

"Don't forget to sleep too," you chide gently, curling up next to him as he gives your shoulder a squeeze. His reply is the vocalized equivalent of a roll of his eyes, but he appreciates the care you put into the gentle command nonetheless.
