It's quite funny me watching a show with a character who has some mental problems in because I take psychology so if it's one of the mental illness we study I'm just there going "nope. Not how that works. Not that either. Oh yeah that's accurate." Like with MMs OCD the poor man is sat there thinking revenge will help with his OCD and it might but the fact that he developed OCD as a result of his trauma means it was always in his genes, the soldier bit thing just triggered it.
