adored this episode, the animation is exactly the kind of style I tend to love in different anime AND all the emotional beats hit. Jogo’s death is one of my favorite scenes in the manga and it was gorgeous. and the way the megumi vs toji fight was animated made me considerably more emotional about megumi, especially with his expressions

#is there a name for this animation style or is it specific animators that are known for it ? #I think his name is Masaaki Yuasa who helped create all those films and shows like the recent devilman crybaby and ping pong #but it reminded me of those works and also how mob psycho fights get #either way im not remotely knowledgeable in animation but this is one of those eps that feels tailored to my likes! #also some paranoia agent ep it made me think of lol #ughhh but yeah. my heart hurts for megumi more seeing him animated this season in ways I didn’t feel while reading #you can tell he’s a 15 year old kid who’s struggling a lot with who he is and tries to act collected and mature #when clearly he’s not okay �� #excited for next ep!! we only got the SLIGHTEST glimpse of uraume so hoping the scene is good next ep #jujutsu kaisen season 2 #jogo #sukuna #fushiguro megumi

just watched ep 6 ┐(´ー｀)┌ kinda mid. i liked a lot of it i think the percabeth moments were cute (wise girl mention 😮) but i think a big problem with the series is the characters knowing everything all the time 😭 the episodes are going so fast its not leaving room for buildup its like just constant realizations. besides annabeth (and other athena kids), i feel like most demigods wouldnt get this shit as fast as they do. i thought the lotus flower was shit rick made up, i had no idea it was an odysseus reference. if i was a demigod i wouldn't be studying, how does Grover even remember that so fast 😭😭idk i dont wanna be a hater but i feel like them realizing the bad intent of the casino literally right away was a bad move

on a positive note, the underworld just keeps looking cooler and cooler. every sneak peek makes me every more excited for it. looks like fucking dark souls. im obsessed
