My fav thing about being an artist is that we’re always just noticing things. Sometimes I’m having dinner with someone and completely stop paying attention to the conversation in favour of committing the shape and material of my cup to memory. Or I’m looking at this specific patch of mineral buildup under the bridge every time i walk by it on the way to work because what if i need it for an environment someday. There are so many things to notice.

I can't get this Shang Qinghua idea out of my head and I have far to many writing projects plus midterms so I'm making this everyone else's problem.

Its a canonical fact that Shang Qinghua dosen't really see anyone beside Mobei-jun and Shen Yuan as actual people. But what if he had powers in his first life as airplane? And because he can't feel his powers due to the systems meddling and he doesn't know that the system meddled so he dosen't think any else as people.

Especially if he was an empath; always able to feel other peoples emotions -though since he's more used to negative or indifferent emotions being directed at him he's crap at knowing what they mean- and thus react accordingly. But when he died and was reborn he couldn't feel anything from anybody, anymore.

His powers, the one thing that was solely his (cause lets face it pidw hadn't belonged to him in a long time), the hum at the back of his mind that he always felt, there spark that always appeared around people wasn't there when he was around anyone.

So he assumed that none of these people where real.

2016-2018 was like the renaissance for bad art advice

#was looking up references for todays cringetober prompt and i stumbled across this nutty blog from that era #dedicated to picking apart vivziepops art inorder to help“aspiring artists”#and like. there is plenty of advice to be given regarding her art #but a lot of it was just goofy nitpicking shit #like ohh she exaggerates her anatomy and posing a little bit to make the piece look better thats not realistic #god forbid #and like inconsistency stuff. god forbid she hasnt nailed down a final design for her character #some of it was good though esp regarding contrast and character design silhouettes #but gosh it woulda sucked having to differentiate between the good and the bad had i been the target demographic #lmao

When the Collector and Luz fused, it was a very very rocky and extremely negative experience, thus them learning the hard way of what happens when they let their anger and frustration (basically any negative emotions) consume them. It also doesn't help that you're bonded to a human body, which is uncharted waters, who is not used to the powers of the collector, let alone understand how to control them (and his full powers haven't completely absorbed into them yet) Words, insults, and hands have been thrown at eachother, resulting in them being tired/exhausted and wounded (tho with the help of the collectors abilities, the healing process is a lot faster than the average human healing rate

#basically their powers work against them when theyre consrantly feeling negative emotionscand fighting for control #cant u tell im so greatcst drawing and coloring backgrounds haha #ill never understsnd color theory no matter how hard i try orz #but gotta practice inorder to emphasize what happens #but yh ya kno the collectors ability to reshape reality well thats whst happening with the walls turning into sharp spikes #my art #the collector #collector luz #bonded eternally au #u could say that reality will crumble on them. literally

I'm beginning to really seriously practice and home my psychic abilities lately and it's been already a little intense 😵‍💫 whenever I get out of a meditative state and open my eyes, there's a fuzzy oval in the center of my vision that's making light bend and squirm, much like how everything looked when I take mushrooms. super neat!
